Reversing acceleration toward chaos

The comment box below invites readers to comment.

Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on theineluctabletruth, which can only be discovered. Ineluctable means:  Not to be assailed, avoided, changed, escaped, neglected, obfuscated, rationalized, or resisted. Some people erroneously imagine limiting theineluctabletruth, for example, changing it.

"Civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for individual happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or society. Civic citizens neither initiate nor accommodate harm to or from anyone. Civic citizens are reliably responsible in connections and transactions.

Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual appreciation:  For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase it for my interpretation of its proposal as follows: The civic faction, We the People of the United States, proffer & practice 6 public pursuits —- integrity, justice, safety, strength, prosperity, and responsibility, “in order to” pursue happiness “to ourselves and our Posterity”. I want to improve my interpretation by listening-to and considering other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787 text, unless it is amended by the civic-people.

It seems the Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one with status has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by appreciative fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the faction who collaborate for statutory justice, We the People of the United States.

Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren to both born Americans and legal immigrants. Congressional freedom of religion, which fellow citizens have no means to constrain, oppresses freedom to develop integrity. This can be remedied by changing the First Amendment from “prohibiting” to “promoting”.

Selected theme from a couple months

Reversing acceleration toward chaos

I perceive, in Genesis 1:26-28, authorization if not demand to each fellow citizen: humankind has the power to constrain chaos on earth. I think this political philosophy was primitively expressed 5500 years ago in Sumerian law codes and has been affirmed by the mysterious authority ever since. I think the authority is thegood.

Today, research and discovery empowers humankind to plan colonizing either Mars or the moon in a couple decades, yet adults employ competitive monotheisms and economic philosophies to sustain war against the world’s children. Church and state partnerships keep civic people bemused, and few citizens accept the power to constrain chaos in their lives by pursuing thegood (a word contraction to express singularity).

It takes a quarter century for a willing infant to acquire the comprehension and intention to pursue human being (verb) rather than animalism, spiritualism or other pursuits. Adults should do all they can to aid children. I think it is possible for humankind to accept the authority of thegood and reform to civic integrity in time to represent the good earth upon settling its first extension.

@Joke Buyed-in

Obviously, no human can constrain the mystery of God. Nor can a human undo what is. History shows and Genesis 1:26-28 states that humankind may rule life on earth. Humankind may, and God cannot rule, without self-contradiction. No human can constrain the mystery of God.

The Common Sense of the Hillbilly Thomist – (lawliberty.org)

I read your book review at LibertyLaw. As you continue, help comprehend and share O'Connor's thought On Page 81, of the nonfiction book, "Mystery and Manners" (1969), posthumously published.

“You may [erroneously] think . . . the reason I write is to make the reader see what I see, and that writing fiction is primarily a missionary activity.” I write for the sake of the art. “St. Thomas called art ‘reason in making.’ The artist uses his reason to discover an answering reason in everything he sees. For him, to be reasonable is to find [in something] the spirit which makes it itself. It is to intrude upon the timeless, and that is only done by the violence of a single minded respect for the truth.” (changes mine)

What's fascinating is the word "violence". What do you think she means by that?

Note: below, please find mention of “Law and Manners”, spoken at the outset of WWI.

Anatomy of the Administrative State | The Epoch Times

“Free people act without regard for the public good” seems one of the worst thoughts I’ve read, starting my 9th decade. It shows the weakness of British influence in its provinces. Despite 247 years’ celebration of liberty and freedom from the British Parliament, the American civic faction thrives on “Don’t tread on” my opportunity to responsibly pursue the happiness I perceive rather than submit to bureaucratic impositions. “Civic” means responsibility in human connections and transactions rather than civility to rules. What empire people don’t comprehend is that the civic faction, We the People of the United States, thrives on responsible-human-independence in addressing the demands of economic viability. Anglo-thinkers just don’t comprehend that the civic-American accommodates “liberty& freedom” celebrations but demands independence. I appreciate Epoch Times for publishing modern British thought about America. I’m reminded of my view of Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg dream; of, by, and for each civic-citizen.

Tooting Your Own Horn | The Epoch Times

Roger Kimball gave us the opportunity to learn about British Judge Moulton, who described civic integrity as “obedience to the unenforceable” at the outset of World War 1. I think Moulton overlooked the authority of thegood, which drives humankind to its ultimate achievements.

The 1787 U.S. Constitution proffered pursuit of perfection, and the faction, We the People of the United States, may and can return the U.S. republic to independence from mimicking Britain’s church and state democracy. Congress’s freedom of religion can be ended by changing the First Amendment from “prohibiting” to “promoting”.

What Does the Bible Say About Intentionally Sinning? (openbible.info)

Suggested James 4:17 on 11/29/23.

Facebook

https://www.facebook.com/gcleve.wright , December 19, 2023

Our Sunday school class recently studied the book of James for six weeks. James advocates his brother, Jesus as the messiah promised to unite the Jewish tribes and meanwhile influence the Jews to live perfectly -- no repetition of error (sin). Shockingly, James addresses adultery and murder as "lawbreaking", implying equal severity. During the study, I discovered the enrichment of reading both the New International Version and the Complete Jewish Bible, both readily available online.

Neither NIV nor CJB capitalizes "him" in James 4:13. Interestingly, CJB has "power" where NIV has "strength".

Jesus' civic influence gives me power.

James 4:10-13 enriches understanding: your interest increases my contentment.

BTW, James 4:8 is one of my favorite poems. Cynthia had a beautifully framed art rendering, which we gave some friends leaving town after both had lost their jobs in truly bad circumstances.

This is my 80th season-of-goodwill-to-all and first to happily articulate that I accept without objection or characterization the mystery, whatever constrains the consequences of human choices and actions, in order to pursue and celebrate Jesus’ civic influence. “Civic” refers to reliable responsibility in human connections and transactions. I perceive Jesus’ civic influence by considering obscurely reported dialogues from his life, then pursuing Jesus’ principles "to ourselves and our Posterity", most of whom appreciate civic integrity. We study, listen, and learn.

My joy during Christmas 2023 is grounded in two recorded principles and an intention. First, Genesis 1:26-28, both New International Version and Complete Jewish Bible, reports that humankind has the duty to rule to the good on earth. Second, Matthew 5:48 reports that Jesus informs that a person may and can perfect their unique human being (verb) during life. We intend to know and perfect our behaviors; joy to all is my duty.

Phil Beaver

If Jesus had not been born, we could not celebrate his influence to the good. Beginning my 9th decade, I feel unquenchable joy -- appreciation to Jesus' civic influence.

I think the answer to your question is suggested in the literature combination of four principles: first, Genesis 1:26-28; second, Matthew 5:48; third, Matthew 19:3-9; and fourth James 2:8-11.

The first is 5500 year-old Sumerian political philosophy: female and male human being may and can rule to the good on earth. Churches, governments, and most people vainly attempt to construct an entity that can and will usurp human duty.

The second, 2000 years old, is Jesus' influence to perfect contribution to the good on earth, with no intention-to reward beyond self-rule under the first principle.

The third, again 5500 years old, is that a man is intimate to a woman in order to unite to her intentions to the good, and they become one, again according to the first principle.

The fourth, about 2900 years old, is that adultery is lawbreaking as severe as murder.

The ancient tradition of men subjugating women may and can be constrained by the rule of law. Armed with these 4 principles, men can unite to women to reform tradition.

The path to October 7, 2023's barbarism awakened me to:

An idea: Adults compete for wealth and military power at the expense of humankind's children.

Ancient mandate: A 5500 year-old political philosophy (from Sumer) is that humankind has the power to rule to the good on earth, while the gods rule other worlds. Scribes expressed the philosophy 3000 years ago, interpreted in Genesis 1:26-28, NIV or CJB. The rest of the Bible discloses the consequences of neglecting Genesis 1:26-28, in order to construct competitive monotheism for wealth and war.

A reform: Religions and governments do all they can to suppress the Genesis 1 message. Individuals aid children if they constrain chaos in their way of living, caution harmful fellow citizens, and aid statutory justice. We the People may and can collaborate to constrain religions and governments.

Immediate action: Reform Education Departments to intend every youth to both comprehend and intend to develop their unique human being (verb, or practice) by age 25. Harm-and-killing is accepted in the animal world.

I like the SEC. Let's happily roll up those wolverines in roses.

On Sunday after an unknown brutally flattened Jaden Daniels, preventing us from witnessing how he would finish the LSU game, I wrote a scathing post, read it, and deleted it. Coaches cannot control what adolescents do. (It takes 25 years for a human body to complete constructing the wisdom-gathering parts of their brain. If they have acquired necessary comprehension, they can then choose intention to develop human being (verb). Maybe in another 50 to 75 years, civic integrity will pan out.)

I regard your book-reading like picking flowers.

I read the wiki article, which I quote: the eruption was equivalent to 200 megatons of TNT (840 PJ)—about 13,000 times the nuclear yield of the Little Boy bomb (13 to 16 kt) that devastated Hiroshima, Japan, during World War II, and four times the yield of Tsar Bomba, the most powerful nuclear device ever detonated at 50 Mt.

I'm busy composing letters to Mike Johnson, Speaker. He gives me hope during a time of immense opportunity.

Raachel Jurovics It's day one for we who are living.

We may consider Genesis 1:26-28, both New International Version and Complete Jewish Bible. The message is: Humankind, male and female, is in theGod's psychological image, so that they may rule on earth. And since theGod said they may, it follows that they can. And further, since it was theGod's will, theGod will not usurp the human power.

And Jesus' civic influence affirms the message: Be perfect in the image of theGod.

To rule is to effect thegood on earth. Therefore, citizens pursue both Jesus' influence and the Genesis-1 message, in order to practice, facilitate, promote, and continuously pursue statutory justice. As statutory justice increases, war mongers know they are doomed by their desires. Most of them reform in order to survive, and all humankind celebrates each victory.

PRB response, Nov 27

Raachel Jurovics You read my post in good response to the chaos we are experiencing.

Genesis 1:26-28 a nearly 3000 year old view of the creator god and consequential political philosophy in polytheistic Mesopotamia about 5500 years ago. They invented the rule of law, developed Sumerian codes updated by the conquering Babylonian, Hammurabi.

Legislation pursued human behavior to the good, with harsh punishment for bad and evil. As discovery of actual reality increased, polytheism lessened, and human evolution could have brought about widespread individual and collective rule to the good.

In Genesis 2, Middle Eastern scholars of competitive monotheism switched from "God" to "the Lord God" and used Adam to create a patriarchal religion. Descendants developed the law of Moses, then the Torah, and political philosophers switched from judges to kings. The kingdom fractured, north and south. A faction predicted an anointed king who would unite Israel. Israel continuously improves the Torah now and into the future.

A faction of the Southern Kingdom held Jesus to be the king, anointed to unite Israel. Paul developed politics of Jesus as savior to pagans as well as Jews. The movement adopted the Greek title for anointed one, O Xhristos, taking Jesus out of the political debate. European equivalent was Crist, which 500 years ago became Christ. Many people think and speak "Christ", leaving Jesus' civic influence out of their thinking.

Jesus' civic influence may be discerned from the reported direct dialogues. Typically, he stated the other person's error(s), observed their regret, and told them: go and choose the good. He confronted men who were going to stone a prostitute and they relented. He accused Judas, who did not reform from betrayal then terminated his own life. He accused Simon Peter, who wept with remorse and lived on.

Jews, Muslims, Christians, and many other religions appreciate Jesus. Yet there are some 45,000 Christian sects. Religions comprising about 80% of the world's population hold Jesus' civic influence for the good.

Reform from "Christ" to Jesus, leaving the Messiah for Israel's hopes and comforts, would benefit humankind, and thus the God of Genesis 1:26-28. I don't know, but think that God is physics and its progeny, such as psychology. For all I know, it is Jesus.

Chemical engineering neither engages in nor promotes political science. Some chemical engineers don't follow professional obligations.

facebook.com/profile.php?id=100007230735517, November 22, 2023

Consider Genesis 1:26-28 for example. It is loaded, and a skeptic like me can start with the Complete Jewish Bible's words:

Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, in the likeness of ourselves; and let them rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the animals, and over all the earth, and over every crawling creature that crawls on the earth.” So God created humankind in his own image; in the image of God he created him: male and female he created them. God blessed them: God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air and every living creature that crawls on the earth.”

Now, let's apply Larry's rules, based on what humankind has discovered in the 2700 years since the writing.
1. The beginning could be before the Big Bang, or before the earth formed, or when the first cell formed or when homo sapiens emerged 300,000 years ago.
2. Before Chapter 1 of Genesis there was the Mesopotamian literature -- codes of law and national treaties. After, there's the entire Bible, which elucidates the consequences of not observing Genesis 1:26-28, I prefer NIV.
3. In Matthew 5:48, the writer claims that Jesus suggests that each of us pursue personal perfection in the image of God. In Mattew 19:3-9, man unites to woman to become one. In John 10:34, it says Jesus said your scripture says you are gods.
4. The Hebrew scribe for Genesis 1 perhaps expressed hearsay about ancient Mesopotamian geo-political philosophy regarding the beginning. In Genesis 2, the scribes leave God to take up the Lord God in a narrative about creation of man only, then addition of woman as a helper. However, the originator of Genesis 1, in V 26-28 conveys that humankind has the power and authority to rule on earth. God assigns responsibility to humankind. The key phrase is "in the likeness of ourselves; and let them rule".
5-10. Accepting the directive in Genesis 1:26-28 as well as suggestions reportedly from Jesus, I do not yield to any person's censorship: I am authorized to constrain chaos in my way of living, and others have the power to rule their own lifestyle.
11. I claim I write well-earned opinion, because I do not know theineluctabletruth. I use this run-on word, because people are annoyed with my hyphens and to distinguish actual reality from truth made fluid by changing the object and other arts. "Ineluctable" means "not to be avoided, changed, or resisted" at least.

It is my opinion that when churches encourage people to pray for wisdom they are intentionally refuting God's will: Every human being may and can choose thegood and thereby rule their lives on earth. Jesus influences civic perfection.

I write not to annoy but to suggest that an achievable better future is already proffered and immediately available. Thank you Larry, for the topic.

https://www.facebook.com/gcleve.wright , November 10, 2023

At age 79, I discovered that "Christ" confounds me, so I stick to Jesus and encourage others to consider my discovery.

A guest minister at my church concluded the sermon by asking us to think who in our life most influenced us to follow Christ, and write their name. I was totally flummoxed during the 2 minutes he allowed. Then I thought of my dad, who never said, "Christ", and always encouraged me to consider and follow Jesus. I was relieved and joyful.

Then came the pastor's punchline: Now, write the name of the person whom you most influence to follow Christ. I only know that I profess Jesus and rely on fellow citizens to help me earn my opinions about Jesus.

In light of the chaos the world suffers, I think an interesting, hopeful and promising question is this: Can Jesus' influence overcome "Christ"?

I think so and think it would unlock an achievable better future to humankind.

Cleve asked.

In fall, 2022, I became concerned that European money was threatening Christian comfort in America. I think it is wrong for fellow citizens to let that happen and felt I had 3 ideas Christians could use to improve the U.S. and hence the world after 2000 years global failure and 232 years (2021) operation of the U.S. I decided to return to the church I exited in 1994: University Baptist Church (UBC) in Baton Rouge. The people there are the salt of the earth, and I am not a stranger there.

I had discovered that not only am I open minded, I am open hearted. And I have 3 major messages to share with Christians. First, humankind is pursuing the ineluctable truth. Second, there's more to gain from pursuing Jesus's civic influence for living than in worshiping his body and blood for dying. Third, the Church represses Genesis 1:26-28, NIV and CJB, which says: God assigned to humankind responsibility to rule on earth.

My articulation of these 3 principles improve greatly as I communicate and study with members of UBC. I publish my views of my Sunday school class studies each week. My email goes to about 30 people, including the 3 pastors. No one responds, so I don't know if anyone reads them. However, I feel accepted.

A principle I learned on returning to UBC is that seminary training produces sermons that bemuse more than develop. The problem is that there may be a wonderful story of Jesus' influence, but interspersed in the story is talk of God's power to you, of the Holy Spirit's advocacy to you, of Satan's competition, and ends with extolling Christ. For all I know, Jesus is God, but I don't think so.

I think Jesus is the only political philosopher in history who read Genesis 1:26-28 then said to the continuum of humankind: Be perfect in the image of God. For all I know, Jesus authored Genesis 1.

The physical facts are: Isaiah prophesied an anointed one would unite the 12 tribes of Israel to rule a kingdom. Jesus was born. A faction of Jews speculated he was the anointed one, I guess after his execution. For example, James, his brother wrote 15 years after Jesus' death and encouraged individual perfection under the Torah, including circumcision, as Jesus had at age 8. Paul argued that baptism by emersion replaced circumcision to certify God's grace. He preached in Greece where anointed one is O Xhristos. In 800 CE, Old English had "Crist". And "Christ" came in 1500.

The resulting babel has the world at 45,000 Protestant sects, with no hope to rule to the-good on earth.

I think Jesus is appreciated in cultures covering 80% of the world's population. "Christ" bemuses and detracts.

I appreciate my dad for teaching me Jesus.

Shared from Schultz: “When the Church and the world can jog comfortably together, you may be sure there is something wrong. The world has not altered. Its spirit is exactly the same as it ever was, and if Christians were equally faithful and devoted to the Lord, and separated from the world, living so that their lives were a reproof to all ungodliness, the world would hate them as much as it ever did.” Catherine Booth

Phil’s response:

The people desire and pursue the good. A succession of Sumerian kings, 5500 years ago experienced and observed that their gods were too busy with the heavens to attend to the world. Therefore, they developed continual improvement of law codes, the oldest known, of Ur-Nammu created 4070 years ago, ending with conqueror Hammurabi, 3770 years ago. They empowered civic citizens to rule. “Civic” means reliably responsible in human connections and transactions.

Competitive monotheism supplanted polytheism. About 3000 years ago, Mesopotamian scholars wrote Genesis 1:26-28, which, especially in the New International Version, informs us that humankind, male and female, is charged to pursue order to the world.

Beginning in Genesis 2, the Lord begins a dialogue with Adam that continues until Moses, who receives the law. From then on, the Bible describes the chaos that ensues as leader after leader tries to construct a god that will usurp Genesis 1:26-28’s responsible human independence to pursue the good. Later, Isaac begot Jacob, who had 12 sons who founded the tribes of Israel. Israel continually improves the Torah, even today. The Church, especially Paul, used “Christ” to promote salvation of the soul rather than adoption of Jesus’ unique message: you can perfect yourself according to Genesis 1:26-28. The Epistle of James, Complete Jewish Bible, advocates Jesus rather than Christ.

Competitive monotheism has wrought chaos. For example, there are 45,000 Protestant Christianities. The way back to order is for each individual to pursue two political goals: the good and statutory justice. Most people pursue those two necessities.

Unfortunately a few choose the bad. Some wander into the bad and can be persuaded to reform by written law that is both correct and justly enforced. Some bad citizens confirm evil choices. Under statutory justice, the intentional murderer knows he or she must and will be killed. A few evils are so convinced of justice they terminate themselves.

Dear fellow citizens and We the People of the United States,

Over a decade ago, I started this registered, Louisiana education corporation, in order to persuade the civic faction of the United States, We the People of the United States as defined by the preamble to the U.S. Constitution, to rule the nation to the-good.

The immediate purpose was to persuade civic-citizens of Baton Rouge to prevent separation of the city to create St. George, a wealthier portion of the city. I don't know if our work was effective or not, but Baton Rouge remains whole and St. George viability has not emerged. We always thought local success would motivate national collaboration toward an achievable better future to "ourselves and our Posterity", quoting the preamble.

We don't know of any achievements on that front, but think our Senators, congressman, governor, and state senators and representatives are aware of A Civic People of the United States. If messages got through the White House system, former President Trump is aware of the formative corporation.

My individual work will not cease. As a chemical engineer pursuing the-ineluctable-truth, so as to avoid ignorantly specifying equipment that could blow up, I never was an administrator or organizer.

My cofounder, Hugh Finklea, passed away last year. Beginning my ninth decade, family obligations and listening to fellow citizens, in order to improve my personal opinions take precedent for me. If any two of you would like to take charge of the education corporation, initially under my guidance, please step forward and let's see what can happen.

Sincerely and serenely,
Phil Beaver

I voted for the business man and am not emotional about my loss.

In my middle decades, I tended to avoid swear words, but loosened to populism when I was lost for words. When email entered the work scene, I infrequently, thoughtlessly emphasized chemical engineering opinion.

One day, Ali Dadgar, PhD, did me a life-changing favor. He wrote something to the effect that there is no place for the f-word in chemical engineering and that he wanted me to apologize. I did and haven't repeated the mistaken choice, using the f-word.

I wish Gov. Elect Landry and Louisiana the best achievable future.

We seem to live in an age of caution:

If it opposes physics, such as a man can change to a woman, or an apple can fall up, write a letter to the local Crime Stoppers.

If it's not vital to you, don't read it. If it is vital, scan, but don't react: wait for lie discovery. If you begin to perceive loss, re-read and consider viable relief. (For example, this spring, I put some rock wool insulation in my attic. I think isocyanates in foams will slowly deteriorate to poisonous gases: SO2 and H2S.)

The adage, "give them enough rope and they'll hang themselves" seems to be playing out for several entities, such as the Democrat Party, New York courts, and California governments. I think the civic faction, We the People of the United States, as specified in the U.S. Constitution will prevail.

Chuck, the combination, "To God goes the glory. Thank Jesus......" ruins Ms Eddy's message (as much as her timing does) in my opinion.

In my 80th year, I think Church ruins everything, because it vainly attempts to characterize "God". I seek a church that accepts the-God with no attempts to characterize its actual reality and advocates Jesus' civic influence. Civic means responsibly reliable in living connections and transactions.

Jesus advocates the-good, and if a person knows the-good but chooses the-bad, the consequences, if early death does not come, informs the person not to repeat that error.

Thank you for the "hello", and I'd like to improve my shared opinions.

Thanks, Mick. I wondered if Rothmus is a paper mache artist so went there. I saw his Sowell quote and like Sowell's concern but have a different take: civic-citizens (the faction called We the People of the United States) may and can choose to manage government, in order to practice, facilitate, and encourage dissidents and rebels to reform to the-good rather than invite death.

facebook.com/phil.beaver.52, August 29, 2023

Some Maoist-leftist reporters, self-styled “wokists”, are putting MAGA people on the public spot with the street question, “When was America great?” I like the MAGA responses I heard, whether I agree or not.

Some MAGAs assert greatness in 1776, when the 13 English colonies declared war for independence from England. (Few Americans know the states counted on help from France and Spain, both of whom were competing with England.)

I didn’t hear anyone say America was great at Gettysburg when Lincoln expressed hope that the possibility of government of, by, and for the people will not perish from the earth.

I didn’t hear anyone cite the framers’ 1787-proposed U.S. Constitution. It is a document that proffers governance by a civic-faction, We the People of the United States. Civic-citizens may& can accept the responsibility to pursue civic-integrity to life on earth and its extensions. “Civic” means responsible connections and transactions in living; in other words, responsible human independence among humankind.

The Constitution’s proposition is amendable rather than fixed in time, in order to pursue statutory justice. Even the intentions, abstractly stated in the preamble may and can be revised to pursue statutory justice “to ourselves and our Posterity” as time and space march on.

Erroneously, free citizens of 1789, the majority Protestant Christians, did not object when the first Congress established congressional “divinity” on par with Parliament by hiring chaplains at the people’s expense. When Congress granted themselves freedom of religion and maintained the American side of Anglo-American law, they re-established English dominance, negating the American independence won by war. Congressional tyranny is promoted as liberty and freedom. Only the civic-citizens can stop American tyranny, now 234 years old.

We, the civic-citizens of 2023 have the privilege of restoring the journey proffered in 1787, regressed on June 21, 1788 when 9th state ratified the Constitution. Ratification came with the intention to add a Bill of Rights that mimics the 1769 English version. Tyranny was codified on December 15, 1791 when 10 of 14 states ratified the Bill of Rights. For example, the religious practice clause may and can be reformed to “promoting” rather than “prohibiting”, in order to grant religious freedom to the people rather than Congress.

Neither the-God-of-Gods nor the U.S. government can usurp a person’s self-interest to develop human being (verb) during their lifetime. Human being entails neither initiating nor accommodating harm to or from another person or association. Acquiring the comprehension and intention to pursue human being requires 25 years, because it takes that long for the human body to construct the wisdom-building parts of the brain. If the choice to pursue the good lasts their lifetime, they may approach their unique perfection. The person who chooses and practices civic-integrity seems a god facing death.

When 2/3 of voters are pursuing human being, America will be great again. It seems there will always be minority dissidents to civic-integrity:  The faction We the People of the United States also cannot impose responsible human independence. Thus, greatness does not imply utopia.

If someone asks, “When was America great?” I’ll respond, “When the civic-faction of the framers signed the 1787 U.S. Constitution.”

Please suggest ways to improve this message.

I agree re voting. Every time I vote, I feel that, first, September 17, 1787 is maintained by my action and, second, that the civic faction, We the People of the United States, still has a chance to establish responsible independence from England, declared in 1776 and won in 1781 with aid from France and Spain, instead of extolling the liberty and freedom propaganda Congress uses to enslave Americans.

Only the civic people can, by self-interested responsible-voting, reform the United States. "Civic" means responsible connections and transactions in personal ways of living.

The premier reform needed is to amend the religious practice clause of the First Amendment to "promoting" instead of "prohibiting".

Hello, Drew,

I am a civic citizen, meaning I am responsible in my human connections and transactions. I am a chemical engineer, long since a non-theist, retired and now 80 years old, with intent to live another 41 years yet happy to die when it comes.

In the early 90's, I began writing letters to the editor of my local newspaper and a few others. By 2010, I had learned that it's freedom of the press, not its subscribers.

I began to contact my representatives directly and learned that the First Congress granted itself freedom of religion and most politicians seek to benefit. Only the civic faction, We the People of the United States could effect reform and it is neither on most people's radar nor remotely fathomable to them. But I write the suggestion often.
Facing and objecting-to a 2013, education-motivated intention to racially-divide my home town, Baton Rouge, LA, by splitting off the wealthier portion as St. George City, I began writing blogs that are more or less repositories of my opinion writing. They are promotethepreamble.blogspot.com, understandtheknowledge.blogspot.com, and cipbr.blogspot.com. Until 2020, they seemed to be accessed in growing trends, but since then, I think Meta has repressed them. Occasionally, there are rushes, fueled by an entity in Singapore. I suspect AI, mining my opinion.

Then, I also contributed heavily on lawliberty.org and on quora.com with interesting dialogues on each one. However, lawliberty ended accepting public comments, and it seems quora banned me.
I don't know why, but 1440, yesterday, denied my attempt to renew under phillip@beaver.brcoxmail.com but happily to me let me in on philrbeaver@gmail.com. Maybe you understand.
I don't have the means to resist people choosing to censor me. Nor am I inclined to do so. I am learning too fast to worry about actions strangers take to suppress my ideas, and I have a family of 4 who count on my contributions to home operations.

On the other hand, I would use all the help I can get from strangers, because I have some timely ideas to share. For example, Genesis 1:26-28 shares 5500 year old awareness that only humankind can effect order to living on earth. And Jesus' brother, James, 2000 years ago, encourages fellow Jews by writing in James 4:17, "If anyone . . . knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is [error if not ruin] for them." James' clear writing is good for non-theists like me and could reverse current trends toward the abyss.
I hope you find this useful and choose to further my work.
Sincerely,

Phil Beaver

The civic-world may and can celebrate US potential

Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on the-objective-truth, which can only be discovered. The comment box below invites readers to write.

"Civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for individual happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or society.

Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual appreciation:  For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase it for my interpretation of its proposal as follows We the People of the United States proffer & practice 5 public disciplines —- integrity, justice, safety, strength, and prosperity, “in order to” encourage & facilitate responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity”. I want to improve my interpretation by listening to other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787, text, unless it is amended by the people.

It seems the Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who collaborate for human justice.

Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.

The civic-world may and can celebrate US potential

At last, the civic-faction, We the People of the United States, is considering a presidential candidate who can cause Donald Trump to compete. I think we’ll get the chance to choose between Trump and Vivek Ramaswamy to be President in January 2025. Today, I have no idea which of them I hope to vote for and am relishing positive outcome. I think 80% of voters will take interest and someone might influence my choice.

The elephant on the stage is not Donald Trump:  It's the God-in-government mystery. The history we discern makes it plain that humankind may and can pursue order to life on earth and to their extensions beyond earth. Neither God nor government can usurp humankind's duty to themselves.

It takes 25 years for a fortunate infant to acquire the comprehension and intention to pursue human being (verb). It takes another 25 years for an aware and committed person to approach mature human practice. Almost no one approaches their unique perfection. Consequently, we have no idea how excellent each individual may and can be.

With extant education departments and traditions, it is almost impossible for a person to understand much less pursue human being. Consequently, many people die young, as we daily observe.

What's doubly tragic is that NASA intends to establish a colony on Mars or on the moon within my lifetime, yet the civic-faction, We the People of the United States do not urgently intend to restore and improve the responsible independence proffered in the 1787 U.S. Constitution.

The presidential candidate who can grasp my post may and can fulfill the opportunity Ramaswamy perceives.

Accepting the mystery of God, the individual is in charge of constraining chaos in their way of living. The 1787 framers of the U.S. Constitution abstractly expressed this actual reality. After 234 years, our generation has the opportunity -- the privilege, to effect civic integrity.

Wrong is made obvious when the consequences of a choice and action yields harm to or from anyone or anything. For example, if the hurricane center orders evacuation, and a person acts without preparation, they may lose anyway. If they stay without protection from wind, rain, and flash flooding, they may perish. If they depart expecting to buy gasoline, they may perish.

Past experiences and observations of consequences of choice, if recorded and considered enrich a person’s evaluation and choice to act or not. Evidence is the key, and without sufficient evidence, it is best to not act. Choosing to act on mystery usually brings harm.

Religion is based on mystery. For example, primitive people speculated that the Sun was a spirit. The moon was a different spirit. Appreciation was still another spirit, and sexual attraction yet another spirit. Polytheism became dominated by competitive monotheism. Each group’s God was the most powerful. Yet people presented their God-doctrine as though they had constructed the-God-of-Gods. Thereby, 2 parties discuss their God-doctrine without humility toward the-God-of-Gods, whatever it is.

I think physics and its progeny, or the power that constrains the consequences of human choice is the-God-of-Gods. However, I think I could be wrong. Nevertheless, I would never choose to act on mystery.

Federal regulation requires special-counsel (special-prosecutor) selection outside the U.S. government, so that the prosecutor is not an underling to the investigated office. The attorney general could choose an uncompromised law professor.

Federal regulations are not laws. Both houses of Congress passed the laws listed in the United States Code. The U.S. Constitution, under the civic-faction We the People of the United States, requires legislation that separates legislative, judicial, and executive powers. Executive agencies make regulations published in the Code of Federal Regulations. Regulations intend to enforce the law.

Law gives attorneys-general broad discretion in how to use Department of Justice personnel. Attorneys-general may and can assign underlings, in order to reject the federal regulation -- conflict its law-enforcement role. The underling could become a whistle blower at great personal risk, since the attorney-general pays underlings'.

I think lawyers and judges are responsible for this civil duplicity -- tyranny. Only the civic-faction of inhabitants, the U.S. preamble’s We the People of the United States, can remedy civil tyranny. Fellow-citizens need this revolution: 2/3 of voters sincerely pursuing civic-integrity. “Civic” refers to responsible connections and transactions in personal civil living. Only reformed civic education can ordain and establish civil reform.

Neither government not a personal God will usurp each citizen's responsibility to self.

Does anyone think I am making sense? How can I improve the message and its impact?

I returned to my neighborhood Baptist church after 27 years' friendly absence, in order to advocate the-civic-Jesus -- the political philosopher who volunteers advice about how to be reliable in responsible human connections and transactions. For example, the advice in Matthew 19:3-8, NIV.

Now, over 2 years after my return, I'm beginning to think Matthew was mistaken in V 3's "to test him". I think the Moses'-lawyers, in their generation, were sincerely exploring improvement of Moses' law. Jesus obliged, and in civic-integrity we can comprehend and apply, in our time, statements Gospel writers attributed to Jesus in Israel and in Egypt.

This time at church, I made it clear that I am only a friend. Maybe that's why no one has called me a heretic. But then I can't tell that anyone is collaborating to discover the-civic-Jesus. It seems the majority prefers Christ and competitive monotheism. But maybe the idea of focusing on Jesus rather than church doctrine is just too new to them.

It seems 2023 is the best of times in this regard.

Google ngrams show that “ineluctable truth” was published in 1906 and usage slowly increases. Yet educators “protect” the public from the knowledge& power of "ineluctable". Resisting the-ineluctable-truth is an unfortunate, common practice.

During the next 50 years, the U.S. faction We the People of the United States may& can choose to retire the national debt “to ourselves and our Posterity”. With $32,700 billion debt, the pay back would be a manageable $650 billion/year, close to the current interest payments. Amortization at 2% interest per year would require $1040 billion/yr.

The U.S. funds its own debt by printing more money. Accumulating rather than paying debt devalues the dollar. The world is drawing the conclusion that the dollar is no longer reliable, so some nations are trading using their own currencies, or bit-coin, or gold. A nation cannot survive much less thrive without global trade.

Just as a family cannot accumulate debt without wealth a bank values, we the People of the United States cannot survive a dollar the world no longer values.

Citizens who hold so called progressive values may& can consider joining We the People of the United States, as defined in the preamble to the U.S. Constitution.

Vote for a presidential candidate who intends to create a positive trade balance, in order to pay off the national debt.

Selected theme from this month

Happily, someone challenged my usage “human being (verb)”.

I want to distinguish from the common usage, “being human”, which indicates passionate-empathy if not sympathy, inevitable bipolarity, and “bound to err”.

So far, only homo sapiens, now 300,000 years evolved, has developed consciousness sufficient to acquire the comprehension and intention to develop perfection to the-good. Pursuing perfection of one’s own personality is human being (verb). The phrase is comprised of an adjunct noun, human, and the verb, being.

Among homo sapiens, some appreciate their opportunity at life enough to perceive pursuing the-good is in their self-interest yet not egocentric, because the choice accrues to fellow-citizens of the world.

Choosing the-good is a matter of civic-integrity, where “civic” means reliability to the-good in every human connection or transaction rather than obligation to a civil or social rule.

I think the civic-faction of We the People of the United States may& can require every education department to practice, facilitate, and encourage youth and adults to comprehend and intend human being.

I think natural law is a construct created by competitive-monotheists to persuade gullible-people that research is weaker than reason in the-human-necessity to discover the-ineluctable-truth.

“Ineluctable” means “not to be avoided, changed, escaped, neglected, obfuscated, rationalized, or resisted”. The article, “the”, accepts that for every something there is ineluctable-evidence to be discovered and, of-necessity, to be used to the-good to human being (verb). For example, the Sun has always been a nuclear-fusion-reactor; small elements transform into larger elements, releasing energy. Discovery of fusion-technology could empower production of bombs to-the-bad rather than energy to-the-good.

I don’t know who started “natural law” but think the theory was promoted during the European self-styled “Enlightenment” by at least John Locke (d. 1704) -- in Deist v Christian arguments to Sir Robert Filmer (d.1653). Filmer advocated the theory of divine right of kings. Locke argued his-God granted to each person the rights to life, liberty, and property. A person could consent to government to the common good. No government can warrant the rights nor does even one pursue the common good. It takes gullibility more than belief to engage Locke-God vs Filmer-God competition. Humility protects the individual from competitive-monotheisms and other ideologies.

Necessity is a circular condition of human being (verb). Throughout recorded history, some civic-citizens accepted that only humankind has the awareness& grammar with which to pursue order to living on earth. But only a few accept actual-reality without speculation& rationalization.

An achievable-better-future is possible when 2/3 of civic-citizens are pursuing the civic-integrity that is required for responsible-human-independence (RHI) “to ourselves and our Posterity”, quoting the preamble to the U.S. Constitution. “Posterity” includes both descendants and legal-immigrants who, in self-interest, pursue RHI. The intentions stated in the preamble may& can be chosen by any nation or peoples on earth. U.S.-citizens still may& can join We the People of the United States, as specified in the preamble.

Just as nuclear-reactions may& can be used to produce energy rather than bombs, human being may& can be practiced, in order to aid safety& security on earth. Both choices enhance every person’s opportunity to develop unique, personal-happiness throughout their lifetime.

https://www.quora.com/How-do-you-balance-the-power-of-the-government-and-the-freedom-of-the-populace? by Graham C Lindsay

I perceive a different image. First, the populace knows it isn’t free but does not want the responsibility to remedy their plight. Second, government knows the populace wants a provider, so they live high on the hog by picking the people’s pockets.

The populace is factional, with 2 dominant groups. The first does not accept that they must earn enough to pay for the way of living they want. The second wants to earn their living plus pay taxes so as to sustain the first group. They assume that earning will always be viable.

However, government is a beast that feeds itself and does so by expanding. Military industrial complexes are as old as civilization. Recent innovations I perceive include green excesses against carbon, pharmaceutical-pandemics, gender-choice enslavement, and Catholic excesses fueled by asylum claims. I don’t know the-ineluctable-truth. Sex-trafficking and drug-running are not new.

The populace may& can read Genesis 1:26-28, accept the mystery of the-God of Gods, and choose to develop responsible-reliability to civic-integrity on earth. “Civic” means responsible-reliability in living connections& transactions. If 2/3 of the populace are at some stage in the development of civic-integrity, an achievable better future may& can begin.

The age of hoping government will ensure the life every person wants and the-God mystery will keep government viable must be displaced by reliable-human-independence by the citizens who choose to pursue integrity rather than dependency.

quora.com/What-is-your-concept-of-good-When-does-an-action-becomes-morally-good? by Sʜᴀᴋɪ 真奈

Each human infant who survives youth encounters the opportunity to accept responsibility to constrain chaos in his or her way of living.

If his or her caretakers, preferably parents-for-life to themselves& their progeny, pursue human being (verb), the youth has better opportunity. However, the self-interest of reliability to the-laws-of-physics are evident to the individual in their experiences& observations. The-laws-of-physics empower imagination& lies when discovery has not yet occurred.

Observing the consequences of bad choices by caretakers, each person may& can choose to reject such behavior and appreciatively caution the caretaker to reform. For example, a youth who suffers violence after a third glass of wine can caution the drinker about the consequences of passion from wine. Faulkner’s protagonist in Barn Burning left his birth family after a first experience with justice.

It takes a thoroughbred-fold 3 years to mature; it takes a person who chooses human being a typical lifetime, perhaps 85 years, to approach unique happiness.

But not everyone wants reliability. Many persons reject developing human being (verb), in order to nourish dependency rather than reliability. Dependency on drugs, alcohol& sex invite early death. Satisfaction with dependency – spirituality, apathy, indolence, crime, evil, and more – seems not a commitment to being a human-being.

I think a person is good when their appreciation for life motivates them to consider the consequences of every choice they face, choosing good according the-laws-of-physics. When the good cannot be perceived, they take no action unless their life or property is immediately threatened. They never cease sharing the-good with fellow-citizens.

Most considerations are easy yet accumulating a human-lifetime of good choices is unlikely if not impossible. Happy is the human-being who never repeated a mistake.

quora.com/Why-do-human-beings-have-more-value? by Negesa Adugna Bari

I take “more value” to address pursuing order to life on earth and its extensions, if any.

The universe may be older than 13.7 billion years. The earth may be 4.6 billion years old. Biology and its progeny, psychology, may be 2.5 billion years into development. The homo species may be 7 million years old and its recent branch, homo sapiens 300 thousand years old. Homo sapiens became powerful when they invented grammar, perhaps 10 thousand years ago.

So far, homo sapiens have used grammar to research how to explore the so-called heavens, yet created chaos on earth. That human beings have more value seems yet to be determined.

Human psychology is so encompassing it takes a quarter century for a newborn to acquire the comprehension to consider developing his or her self. After a complete life, perhaps 85 years, the human-being only approaches maturity let alone perfection. Consider the thoroughbred horse, who walks in 3 hours after birth and peaks in 3 years. Few persons choose to develop their unique human-being. Many choose to develop a soul, an animal, a vegetable, or a mineral.

The people may& can choose to reform Education Departments so as to practice, facilitate, and encourage the choice to become a human being. However, there will always be people who want to be less. Therefore, there must be the rule of written law with pursuit to statutory-justice.

quora.com/unanswered/What-and-why-do-we-need-limitations-of-freedom-of-expression? by Lufuno Lufuno

I take “we” to refer to persons, some of whom chose to develop human being (verb). Some persons choose to develop soul, animal, vegetable, or mineral rather than human-being (noun).

The human-being 1) accepts whatever constrains the consequences of choice,2)  experiences& observes chaos in the world, and 3) takes the opportunity to order his or her way of living. For example, he or she works for reliable income to fund his or her life and to pay the taxes required for opportunity. But not everyone wants reliability, so laws and law-enforcement are necessary.

Observing that arbitrary law tends toward tyranny more easily than does constitutional law, he or she aids the development of statutory-justice. Each time injustice is discovered, he or she aids constitutional amendment toward justice.

The-laws-of-physics& its progeny, such as biology and mathematics, hereafter, physics, do not respond to reason, passion, or fairness. Death is inevitable. Meanwhile, the human-being may& can discover how to benefit from physics and choose the-good rather than the-bad. For example, a person can believe the-God for personal inspiration& motivation but not to usurp personal liability. Families who orphan children by taking ceremonial poison or handling poisonous snakes lose civil opportunity to rear the orphans. If both sets of grandparents handle poisons, foster parents are sought outside the family lines.

Two apples plus two oranges is four fruit. Neither your God nor my God negates the-God, whatever that entity is.

Speech that would influence people to attempt to defeat the-laws-of-physics& progeny may& can be legislated illegal and appropriate punishments specified.

quora.com/How-if-at-all-does-a-healthy-conscience-restrict-or-enhance-human-freedom-of-thought-and-action? by Eugene Patrick Devany

First, tradition, as we are experiencing, is not the panacea they say it is. Both conscience and freedom are bemusements imposed by the partnership of church and state. By bemusement I mean confusion that can be sustained to ourselves and our posterity. That is, from generation to generation. Our generation has the privilege of addressing the laws-of-physics& progeny, such as economics.

It takes a quarter century for a human infant to comprehend human being (verb) and to choose the intention to develop their unique person like a human-being (noun). Fortunate are the few who comprehend and choose to develop a human-being who conforms to physics rather than mystery.

Their purpose is to consider every opportunity to act and always choose the-good. If there is no necessity, often no action is preferred. If bad outcome is envisioned, no action is appreciated. If another party seems in error, inform them and listen to& consider their response.

Reason, passion, mystery, and fairness have no role in the choice to risk justice. Only the anticipated consequences of the physics& progeny have impact on the decision.

View my suggestion from fundamentals. Physics& progeny guarantee death to body, mind& person. Therefore, a person does not invite death. Alcohol consumption impairs judgement in direct proportion to the volume consumed in a time period. Alcohol consumption invites death, so abstention is appreciated. The woman who engages in sexual intimacy risks insemination of any viable ova she carries, so appreciative men do not offer intimacy outside marriage. Priests compromise church doctrine when they are sexually intimate, so pedophilia in moderation is rejected.

Gullibility is born of a desire to act even when bad consequences are expected. Evil people prey on gullibility, so it is in the individual’s self-interest to resist reason, passion, empathy& fairness, in order to discern the expected consequence based on experiences& observations of physics& progeny, such as biology.

A person may& can choose to constrain chaos in the way they live. If they consider choices and act reliably in self-interest, they will do no harm to other people. Not everyone wants to be reliable, so there will never be a utopia. However, if 2/3 of inhabitants choose to accept death’s inevitable march and make the most of life, a reliable culture may& can be developed.

In my 80th birthday month, I accept that I may perfect my person before death – that moment when body, mind, and person stop functioning. The acceptance of may convinced me that I can perfect my person, so I pursue civic-integrity with vigor. “Civic” means reliable in living connections& transactions.

For example, I have long held the opinion that red lights are to be carefully run in an emergency, such as transporting an injured person to hospital. Over the last 3-4 months, I have had extreme pressures due to emotional rather than physical pressures. To my surprise, I received a citation for running a red light. The experience informed me to prevent perceiving angst as emergency.

I know not the criteria for judging perfection. My only guidance is the experience& observation that bad choices invite worse consequences. Therefore, I carefully consider action that intends the-good and chose none if I expect harm or there is no necessity.

Destiny may accommodate a typical lifetime of good choices, and that indeed is a long journey.

quora.com/Who-or-what-should-we-look-to-for-wisdom-within-contemporary-society? by Jeff Caudle

In my 80th birthday month, I accept the authentic Jesus, whatever that may be: man, human person& divine being, entity that is both human& divine, the God, an intellectual construct, or an entity I have not mentioned. In other words, I neither attempt to evaluate the mystery of Jesus nor to impose on him possible errors by people who wrote about him. I try to comprehend Jesus’ reliable messages.

I continually study what was written about him, about reported contemporaries’ reactions to him, and commentary, in order to discover ideas that might be useful for reliable living; civic integrity. By “civic” I mean reliable in living connections& transactions more than compliant to civil rules. In my pursuit, Jesus has never failed; things that were written about him have failed, in my opinion.

When I have an idea I think is useful, I discuss it with fellow citizens, attempting to establish mutual understanding. If so, I listen for the other person’s thoughts, hoping to improve my intentions for using the idea to the-good.

Here’s a sample of my method. First, the Holy Bible seems valid classical literature representing cultural developments from the Semites, in the ancient Near East. In particular, successive Sumerian kings, starting about 5,500 years ago, accepted that their gods would not provide safety& security on earth, so humankind must collaborate. Recognizing that some citizens either could not or would not contribute, they created law codes that sheltered widows and orphans and severely punished offenders. The Sumerians were among many Semites, and descendants thrive today.

About 4,000 years ago, competitive monotheisms dominated, and Hebrew scholars (another branch of Semites), in Genesis 1:26-28 wrote that the creator made humankind such that female& male may rule life on earth. To rule requires wisdom more than physical power: human-beings may be as wise as Jesus. Since they may be, they can be, if they choose the-good. It is reported that Jesus said, in my paraphrase: be as perfect as your creator. This is the kind of idea I seek in studying Jesus, reading commentary, and discussing with willing fellow-citizens in order to listen to their views.

The interconnected stories about Jesus, modified by what has been discovered in the recent 2,000 years, and improved by contemporary viewpoints is powerful in resolving problems I encounter. What’s amazing is that most citizens I meet know the stories, and when I apply study consequences, the impact is instant and impactful.

For example, the idea of forgiving an offender 70 times 7 is inadequate without appreciation (not love, which is often unwanted). Appreciative caution shames blunt rebuke and rejects egocentric forgiveness; the concern is shared with the perceived offender. Perceiving error, approach a fellow citizen with appreciation and share the perception. The other may convince you that you are the offender; you may agree, be contrite, reform, and ask forgiveness. On the other hand, if they admit error, apologize, and reform, expect no repetition, because reliable citizens view reform as in their self-interest. If they stonewall your appreciation, and the error caused no harm, wait for new developments that justify reiteration of your concern. If there was harm, report it to first responders with all the information you have. If you are being attacked, defend yourself and your property. I call this process appreciative caution. Notice that law codes may pursue statutory justice, restore loss to the offended, and reform offending citizens.

I shared this with 2 people, and the 3 of us seemed in agreement. I took it a step further and reviewed the Genesis 1 story with the Jesus perspective and said, “We have collaborated on the old saying ‘rebuke your neighbor bluntly’ and agreed appreciative caution seems better.”

They agreed.

I added, “In the collaboration, we have each behaved in the image of Jesus.”

Again, they agreed. However, I put them on the spot with a totally new viewpoint and wait to learn confirmation of the dialogue.

Eventually, discussions like that can focus on developing the-good. The special insights attributable to Jesus need not be forgotten.

We may accept that we are in the image of reliable people and behave accordingly.

Thus, we behave so as not to harm ourselves or others. If we perceive that someone is risking harm to self or others, we appreciatively caution them and listen for their response.

If they appreciate your care and offer perspective to you, you consider it. If they threaten harm, you report it to law enforcement. If they attack you, you defend yourself and yours.

Occasionally, you learn you are in error. You reform and if necessary make amends. If appropriate, you report to legislators’ opportunity to amend erroneous law and suggest a viable change.

As we face each choice, we realize we may choose the-good and therefore can choose for the-good and therefore choose the-good. We know that some people choose the-bad and behave, facilitate, and encourage their reform, always listening for error in our perception.

Each person answers to civic-citizens; reliable-citizens. Their message is integrity: Don’t tread on me. But they don’t signal the consequences of abuse.

Power corrupts and tyrants face the unhappiness of realizing they abused fellow-citizens.

Abusive drivers hog the road and civic-citizens serenely, quietly make their way. If they later approach an arrest scene, they have no recollection of the driver who abused them.

Individuals may choose the-good. Since they may, they can choose the good. If they don’t choose the good, they face fellow-citizens’ reactions to the-bad.

It is in the individual’s self-interest to comprehend& intend civic-integrity. “Civic” means reliable in all living connections& transactions.

quora.com/Do-means-that-sow-the-seeds-of-future-peace-become-just-when-they-stand-against-immediate-injustice-or-does-true-justice-arise-only-through-remedies-that-align-with-their-own-ends? by André M Calhegas Morais

Human being (verb) continuously acts for safety& security in both physics and in emotions.

The human-being (noun), by condition, may act in civic-integrity. “Civic” means reliable in every living connection& transaction. Since she/he may be relible, they can practice integrity. Comprehending that they can, they choose reliability.

But not all persons intend to develop human being. Some choose dependency, such as welfare, religion, crime, evil, and worse. It is unjust for civic-people to support fellow-citizens who choose one of the dependencies. Therefore, humankind has developed governments to act as referees when the consequences of a dependency cause harm to others.

The best government operates under written law and its legislature continually pursues statutory justice.

The civic-citizen is the most important actor in the pursuit of justice. The moment she/he discovers injustice, they report it and a proposed remedy to a considerate fellow citizen to learn from their view point and either improve the case for remedy or resolve an erroneous perception.

So improved, the civic-citizen writes or speaks to their responsible representative to express the concern and proposed remedy. I prefer to start with my city councilperson, yet often write to my 2 federal senators. Local representatives are trained to refer citizens to the proper office for specific concerns.

A civic-citizen obeys all laws, even ones that are actually unjust. For example, it is unjust for a person who is committed to defeat the United States to vote. Nevertheless, present laws allow enemies to vote.

Also, the USA touts “freedom of religion”, while citizens do not enjoy freedom from the religion Congress supports. The religion practice clause should contain the word “promote” rather than “prevent”. That Congress grants itself freedom of religion and the people are gullible to the ploy is a travesty.

There is never an occasion for violence, and vocalizing or writing a concern and proposed remedy is a civic duty, where “civic” means reliability in human connections& transactions.

I hope you did not tire of my response.

Share: Speaking or writing a concern and remedy is a duty, and imposing violence is a crime.#USpreambler

PRB response to commentary:

I appreciate your response and opportunity to clarify my opinions: I do not know the truth.

Indeed, for me to improve my expressions. Recall, I wrote about “chosen dependency” and listed examples. The examples did not include people who cannot choose independence.

Societies that imagined justice have long-since made provisions for the helpless, recently with intentions to aid the person’s discovery and adoption of independence they CAN sustain. Sumer civilization’s civil codes, 5,500 years ago, prevented taxation of widows and orphans. Their eye-for-eye law enforcement created dependency, so descendants turned to punishments from which the offender could recover.

Written law that pursues statutory-justice is caring: the civic-citizens employ the law to notify people who choose dependency that harm they caused cannot be sustained. Financial penalty or incarceration informs them that they cannot continue harmful activities. Some get the message and reform to civic-integrity. Some don’t.

Addressing your concern, the government that pursues statutory-justice prevents marginalizing the civic-citizen — prevents supporting fellow-citizens and aliens who prefer dependency. I know of no government that successfully constrains sex, drugs, and alcohol, each of which takes huge toll in life.

Statutory-justice requires adults to educate the young, in order to motivate their comprehension& intention to human being (verb). A thoroughbred horse stands in 1 hour after birth and peaks in 3 years. A human infant stands in about a year and peaks just before death, hopefully after a full lifetime. It takes a quarter-century for a person to comprehend and choose human being (v). The-God-mystery has the psychological image of a human-being (noun): no other species can groom to choose the-good.

Government’s purpose is to assure safety& security, in order for each human-being to responsibly pursue the happiness they perceive during every day of their lives. The human-being has the duty to share safety& security to responsible happiness. Unfortunately, not every person perceives the self-interest to choose reliability to personal happiness. A person can choose to die young on sex, drugs, and alcohol.

It seems to me we are in an era that speaks to the-ineluctable-truth: there will never be a utopian society that simply cares for those in need: there will always be people who choose dependency. Accepting this message, we can begin to pursue civic-integrity, where “civic” means reliability in every living connection& transaction.

Second response: I think your first sentence and all that follows is violent to the girl who was raped and murdered. The perpetrator who marginalized her deserves either death or lifetime incarceration, so as to prevent further dependent choices.

Third response: Your latest response informs me, right or wrong, that you propose a religion, intentionally or not. You can say what’s real.

The present generation is responsible for safety& security on earth “to ourselves and our Posterity”. When each generation accepts this duty, they sequentially pursue statutory-justice. Perhaps statutory justice is ultimately attainable.

Theists (they’re competitive whereas the-God is not), idealists, and utopians overlook that just as a low percentage of persons are born unable to aid statutory-justice, a few develop opposition. Thus, inhabitants divide themselves: civic-citizens and dependent fellow-citizens (not including those who did not choose dependency). “Civic” means reliable in living connections& transactions.

Catholic priests are well known for recommending moderation in all things. Unfortunately, in practice that includes, so far, pedophilia.

I hope you will acquire a little doubt in your distant utopia, in order to consider duty to “ourselves and our Posterity” (quoting the U.S. Constitution).

Fourth response: Sorry. I missed until now.

I agree with much of your last post.

I prefer some alternate words and the thoughts they support. First, soul is a mystery, and I prefer to collaborate with persons. Second, I prefer concern to passion.

I think concerned persons are more likely to listen to each other. Passionate souls tend to bemuse each other with particular doctrine.

June 9 response: Shall I address you “André”?

I think we may& can approach our shared goal: reliability. I think so, because your posts contain statements I agree with. Yet I hope you read& consider then improve my concerns, or improve my solutions, or agree with me to wait for further discovery. If you simply agreed with me, I’d doubt our progress to the-good.

“Respected ally Phil” seems the nicest greeting I have heard since the mid 50s when someone told me I’d been the best on the block. Yet “ally” concerns me a little. Ally to what? Ally to the human beings who intend to choose the-good? In other words, persons who choose civic-integrity, where “civic” refers to reliability in living connections& transactions and integrity refers to both wholeness and reliability.

In such a culture, I perceive need to discuss souls, even if they are doubted. I do not wish to be alienated from people who believe in souls. If I’m alienated, there’s no way they can aid my quest to human being (verb). Likewise, there’s no way I can collaborate with their quest for civic-integrity. I can collaborate with persons, and know no reliable way to collaborate with their souls.

To be clear, my aversion to “utopian visions” derives from the experience that physics & its progeny, such as biology, are not perfect. Chiefly, not every person wants the-good, so fairness is no substitute for justice when bad-people cause harm to other persons. Civic-people need not pay for reform evil people do not want.

Reason seems no surrogate for discovering physics& its progeny, including psychology. People of goodwill cannot wait an eternity for evil people to reform. Intentional evil can only be constrained or terminated.  Listening does not work when the other party focuses on the next evil act. “Allies” as I perceive it is like the Greek choir. All they can do is comment as the consequences of evil unfold.

I think the most controversial word you have used is “truth”. No one knows what that is, and if two people profess to agree, they are probably promoting different “somethings”. One of my professional friends often tells me I’ll eventually submit to God. I ask, “Do you mean my body, mind, and person will stop functioning?”

He never explains. I feel stonewalled; alienated.

Second June 9 response: Thanks, André.
“No external authority has the right to demand our submission against our will.” Physics& its progeny, such as death, claims only our body, mind& person. I accept physics& progeny and expect discovery.

My 3 Congressmen

Reason, coercion, force, and lies yield to the-the-ineluctable-evidence. “Ineluctable” means “not to be avoided, changed, escaped, neglected, obfuscated, rationalized, or resisted”.  When members of the United States Congress accept that each member may& can choose to pursue the-ineluctable-truth, the faction We the People of the United States, as defined by the preamble, will perceive that they are, at last, pursuing the-good “to ourselves and our Posterity”, which includes legal immigrants. After a few years practicing the-ineluctable-truth, truth may come unto its own in the world.

These 2 faces and the strengths they express remind me of the-civic-Jesus' guidance: "a man will leave his [traditions] and be united to his wife". Many people misread "to" as "with", then discover it isn't so. Therefore, they may& can reform. Many don't. I celebrate those who do.

Knowing the difference between divisive arrogance versus ineluctable conviction is in each persons' self interest. I hope at this time fellow-citizen Adam Schiff is reflecting on experiences& observations regarding divisiveness. The Lincoln-heuristic, a house divided cannot stand, may& can be resolved by error and trial rather than by separation/secession.

For example, R. E. Lee’s local Christian ministers erroneously convinced Lee that abolitionists, such as the free-state white-Christians in Bleeding Kansas, were evil. Consequently, Lee declined Lincoln’s 1961 commission to general the Union army.

Lee is without excuse: the US began operations divided over both racism and Christianity; Lee’s Christianity was egregiously in error; the white on white Civil War was underway in Bleeding Kansas; and Lee could have chosen civic-integrity. Lee had 5 years to sell all his property and move to a free-state, in order to preserve his family’s opportunity to choose civic-integrity. Even living in Virginia, Lee could have accepted Lincoln’s commission. Lee could have aided the elected commander-in-chief, despite public division on white Christianity.

Lincoln was perplexed by the racial-political-conundrum yet arrogant to preserve the Union despite Christianity. He knew the slave-states power-advantage had swung from 8:5 in 1787 to 15:19 in 1861 yet did not, to my knowledge, share this military-imbalance-perspective. A coalition of 7 states had previously declared secession from the union of 34. What, besides religious folly may& can inspire 7 to fire on 27?

Lee did not reform, and some civic-citizens in 2023 appreciate the lesson he taught yet lament his family-choices& consequences.

Biographers I read gave Lincoln a pass on 1861 cunning politics. Americans lost proportionate to 8 million of today's population.

Even though I produced this essay after 4 decades’ earnest work to comprehend, mine is an American-underground-view. I hold the Church, the politicians, the lawyers, the scholars/educators, and journalists institutionally responsible for this tyranny over the minds of fellow citizens during the recent 11-13 generations.

Why didn't 9 states ratify the religion-free 1787 US Constitution? Why don't Christian churches teach that Genesis 1:26-28 applies to white-skinned people, too? Since I don’t know the ineluctable-truth, I can only write opinion.

I am grateful to my educators in all departments for their contributions to enough information to excite my open-hearted curiosity.

Like Lee then, every US citizen now may& can choose to comprehend& intend civic-integrity. “Civic” means reliability to personal responsibility in every living connection& transaction.

I hope Adam Schiff gets to read this, because unlike Lee’s experience, it is not too late for Schiff to comprehend causes and intend to aid reliable-resolution of US divisiveness. Maybe Mike Pence will share it with Schiff.

Moreover, I hope fellow-citizens who have not, will take the time to acquire their biased understanding of the critical past, in order to pursue civic-integrity in their unique responsible-pursuit to reliable-happiness.

A person is good when their appreciation for life motivates them to consider the consequences of every choice they face, choosing the-good according the-laws-of-physics or no action if they are uncertain and not under immediate attack. #USpreambler

Response to Sa Li, What amazes me is that I am 80 years old and happily discovering this approach.

I share the laws of physics with anyone who will listen and respond, and I am amazed that some young people act like that's how they feel about living. (I don't think they are pretending.)

That's not how it was when I was young. It was God, Mother, and Country.

I now see it as mystery, the-laws-of-physics& its progeny (the-law) which includes imagination about the undiscovered, reliable-woman& man, and statutory-justice (I prefer the U.S. civil approach and expect reform to reliability).

In short, that's mystery, the-law, civic-citizens, and pursuit of justice. In other words, not all citizens choose reliability, so there must be legal rules.

What do you suggest to improve my theory for living?

How reliable is the evidence to "actual signature"?

I don't trust Donald Trump's affirmation of Barack Obama's signature.

Given the chance, I'll vote for Trump in 2024 anyway, unless a better candidate appears.

facebook.com/john.parks.92505, March 17, 2023

John, thank you.

I recently perceived that George Washington did not feel confident one week into the 1787 convention in Philadelphia, with business underway on May 29. I paraphrased his concern as "reliability" by the delegates. However, the direct topic is "for the resolutions he enters into".

I searched and found 1605 citations. By knowing the date, 6 June, 1787, I located the document as No. 834 on page 84.

I searched my paraphrase, "reliability" and found only 29 citations, excluding the letter from Washington.

Now, I'm curious about the other 1604 documents with the phrase "for the resolutions he enters into".

If anyone is interested, I'd like to listen to friends' views of Washington's concern. Did he express casual apology to Lafayette, or a critical comment about the first week's work?
