The United States pursues statutory justice

The comment box below invites readers to comment.

Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on the ineluctable truth. Ineluctable means:  Not to be assailed, avoided, broken, changed, escaped, mystified, neglected, obfuscated, rationalized, resisted, revoked, or voided. Some people erroneously imagine limiting the ineluctable truth, for example, trying to change it.

"Civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for individual happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or society. Civic citizens neither initiate nor accommodate harm to or from anyone. Civic citizens are reliably responsible to the good rather than the bad in connections and transactions.

Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual appreciation:  For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase its proposal as follows: The civic faction, We the People of the United States, proffer & practice 6 public pursuits —- integrity, justice, safety, strength, prosperity, and responsibility, “in order to” pursue happiness “to ourselves and our Posterity”. I want to improve my interpretation by listening-to and considering other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787 text, unless it is amended by the civic-people.

It seems the Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one with status has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by appreciative fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the faction who collaborate for statutory justice, We the People of the United States.

Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren to both born Americans and legal immigrants. Congressional freedom of religion, which fellow citizens have no means to constrain, oppresses freedom to develop integrity. This can be remedied by changing the First Amendment from “prohibiting” to “promoting”.

Selected theme from this month

“We Pursue Statutory Justice” -- civic representation of the United States Constitution.

The “woke” movement, developed during the recent 7 decades from Liberation Theology, is a blessing to human responsibility. Wokeism divides humankind over theology, which is the construction of divinity, in order to explain mystery. Pursuit of mystery can only achieve mystery. Human concurrence on one mystery would leave humankind in mystery. Democratic accommodation of every mystery produces chaos. Pursuit of mystery is neither a noble nor an economically viable cause.

I accept that The God may exist. But no one knows The God, and many people don’t realize that choosing a doctrinal God does not preserve humility, which The God might seek. And I do not know of a doctrine that represents The God. For example, Christian doctrine claims a triune God and has about 10 canon and 45,000 sects. Other theisms are also sectarian. “In God We Trust” does not seem a viable motto for the United States republic.

The prior motto was E pluribus unum, 13 letters expressing “out of many states one nation”. History shows that the civic faction may and can together provide for fellow citizens who cannot help themselves, reform citizens who won’t help themselves, constrain criminals, and eliminate evils. The goal of unity is limited by actual-reality to the civic faction.

Provisions for the civic faction to amend the Constitution when injustice is discovered, together with the intentions sentence in the preamble, proffers the pursuit of statutory justice “to ourselves and our Posterity”. We Pursue Statutory Justice expresses these four principles.

I share these ideas hoping a fellow citizen or critic will suggest a better motto.

Civic citizens who look to the Democrat Party cannot expect improved leadership until they replace all of the elected officers who created/support the 2024 DNC Platform. Its preamble ends, "History has shown that nothing about democracy is guaranteed. Every generation has to protect it, preserve it, choose it. We must stand together to choose what we want America to be."

The DNC cannot "choose what we want America to be", because the United States Constitution commits to a republican form of government. United States republicanism pursues the rule of law rather than preference to a political party, such as the Republican Party. The Constitution provides the opportunity to vote and intentionally prevents democracy, because democracy can only produce chaos and ruin.

Citizens who oppose governance from the Republican Party face dismay as long as they support a platform that wants the chaotic governance of democracy. And no political party can "choose what we want America to be".

Republicans like me hope voters who support the Democrat Party will change its leadership quickly rather than accommodate 100 years of GOP-unchallenged-power due to DNC incompetence.

I cannot answer for society, so address my personal trust and commitment. Humility aids achievement.

I am humble to whatever constrains human choices, in order to give myself and civic citizens opportunity to either act or wait -- for survival if not success.

In my ninth decade, I accept that I neither know the ineluctable evidence nor approach whatever constrains humankind. “Ineluctable” means the combination unavoidable, unchangeable, and irresistible.

A repressed, inviolable human right:

The human individual continuously has the undeniable opportunity to discover and develop integrity to the ineluctable evidence, by which truth is measured. “Ineluctable” means: the combination unavoidable, unchangeable, and irresistible. Experience, observation, and civic transparency facilitate discovery of truth and humility towards undiscovered actual-realities.

Typically, individuals allow infidelity to distract their opportunity to perfect their unique pursuits. Many civic persons mistake a recent infidelity as personal ruin rather than notice to reform – to never repeat the mistake. Not repeating discovered error is the key to accumulating fidelity to truth.

Under existing civilizations and cultures, independent fidelity is unlikely. Civic citizens may reform education systems so as to encourage and coach the young to use their human power, authority, and responsibility to develop integrity.

Practicing integrity empowers integrity.

In practice, the individual considers a heartfelt concern; obtains the ineluctable evidence to discover the concern is justified; studies the discovery so as to understand how to benefit; orders personal living to effect the benefit; civically shares the understanding and open-mindedly responds to public reaction; if new evidence requires change in understanding, the process is retraced as necessary; if improvement in understanding is discovered, the adjustments are made and shared: humility is reserved so that new ways of discovery can and may be considered. In review, the integrity-process is: concern, discovery, understanding, order, share and LISTEN, reconsider, improve, and remain humble to new discovery.

With this process or better, humankind’s understanding approaches truth. Individual incorruptibility accumulates as humankind’s completeness.

I know of no other inviolable human right. Frequently, small infidelities to truth negate right to life. Ova, embryos, infants, and children are especially susceptible to human infidelity.

I do not know much ineluctable truth.

Honig illustrates something I learned by taking college courses in my 7th and 8th decades: professors, especially in non-STEM fields, compete with each other, regarding the adult working-citizen on par with students. That is, the professor expects the working citizen to yield knowledge/opinion to the professor, as though the professor can award a pass or fail to the citizen. When a professor ignores my opinion, I do not express pity, but leave without wish to return to the dialogue, unless the professor contacts me.

Human beings, unlike the other species, may and can learn this: pursuing necessary goodness is in their best interest. Just as an infant must be helped to nourishment, his or her life benefits from example and encouragement to both comprehend human being (the practice) and intend to pursue the excellence their life can and may achieve. Each person has the power, authority, and responsibility to choose human being.

Among history's awesome political philosophers, only one, Yeshua, promoted personal pursuit of necessary goodness, with the intention and commitment to perfect (verb) behavior from the moment of awareness and acceptance forward. When a person encounters and accepts Yeshua's civic influence, humankind -- past, present, and future -- celebrates. Anyone who is unaware of Yeshua's civic influence may and can accept innate tendency to necessary goodness.

I think Donald R. Trump, more than anyone I ever considered, perceives and accepts Yeshua's civic influence (aware or not), in Trumpian intentions to power, authority, and responsibility to necessary goodness. That is, Trump may not be aware of Yeshua.

I regret that some fellow citizens choose to condemn Trump.

I think Honig mistakes compromise as desirable when collaboration is required and uses academic trade-terms to bemuse the public. I recall Trump, perhaps yesterday, saying something like: Peace is a yes or no intention. Peace cannot be negotiated half-way. In the same speech, Trump showed humanity, I think erroneously, traditionally urging legislative compromise when collaboration to statutory justice is required.

I hope Trump's practices will impress Honig and empower Honig to consider collaboration for necessary goodness to humankind rather than compromise to split benefits.

Persuading people that necessary goodness is in their self-interest is difficult. Sumerian law codes made it obvious 5500 years ago. Genesis 1:26-28 parochially expresses the Sumerian political philosophy: humankind may and can rule to necessary goodness on earth. The Complete Jewish Bible (1998) illustrates the consequences of resistance to necessary goodness. Yeshua, reared in tiny Nazareth 2000 years ago affirmed Genesis 1:26-28 in Matthew 18:18, Matthew 5:48, Matthew 19:5-6, in the "Sermon on the Mount", and more. Christianity hid Yeshua's civic influence by projecting on his person The Divine.
.
The 1791 United States Constitution, in its republican form of government, amendability, and the intentions sentence in the preamble, proffers the pursuit of statutory justice; that is, intentional reform when legislated injustice is discovered.
.
Yet the 2024 Democrat Party platform has a preamble that ends, "History has shown that nothing about democracy is guaranteed. Every generation has to
protect it, preserve it, choose it. We must stand together to choose what we want America
to be." What could be better than a republic that pursues statutory justice to "ourselves and our Posterity"?
.
History has shown that democracy brings chaos. Only the rule of statutory justice can facilitate necessary goodness to humankind.
.
In its 234-year history, the United States has maintained necessary goodness in a conflicted world. Her most serious challenge came from Liberation Theology -- the Marxist politics of oppressor vs victim. Like the French Revolution of 1789, a collection of self-styled victims proposes to employ social democracy to overthrow the United States republic; terminate rather than assist the pursuit of statutory justice.
.
After 70 years under democratically diffused Liberation Theology, or competitive Marxist collectivism, there is a chance the Trump-Vance era will, during the next few decades, save the United States from democracy. Humankind may and can hope so.
.
I write hoping to receive ideas that improve my opinion.

Thank goodness for Al Green's freedom of speech, too.

I get about 20 "Occupy" messages a day, and this is the first one I've read. Now I know to find out how to keep them from appearing on my page.

Jan 31

Hampton, that's a fact. And some Democrat States would not remove Robert Kennedy, Jr. from the ballot after he dropped out. Democrat judges denied his law suits. His 0.75 million votes added to Trump's 77.3 m come to 50.2 % of the popular vote.

I regret that some neighbors are not thrilled with the beginning of Trump's second term. For example, the next day after the helicopter downed a commercial flight, I heard the Commander-in-Chief lay out the facts about the incident but withhold conclusion pending proof. I was thrilled with Trump's transparency.

Because Obama’s Democrat Party is so overwhelmed with globalism or something other than United States republicanism (form of government rather than opportunity to vote), I think we are in for 70 to 100 years of Republican Party dominance. That's dreadful, because unchallenged power invites corruption. I want to encourage democrats who want the United States republic to succeed.

Also,

Hampton, I'm part of a faction of a small minority who would favor a United States Civil War History Month to replace Black History Month.
In a so-revised forum, my topic might be interesting: The Civil War was an avoidable white-Christian on white-Christian war that Abraham Lincoln could-have, should-have clearly-challenged if not stopped.
A review follows:
In 1845, some Protestant churches, e.g., Baptist, split over slavery (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triennial_Convention and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methodist_Episcopal_Church,_South).
Frederick Douglass' 1852 speech (https://www.gilderlehrman.org/sites/default/files/inline-pdfs/douglass_july_4_speech.pdf), with President Millard Fillmore present, was pivotal to Bleeding Kansas, 1854 to 1861 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bleeding_Kansas). General R. E. Lee, in Texas, wrote to his wife about abolitionists' evil attempt to impose on Christianity (https://www.civilwarcauses.org/Lee-Mary.htm). Lee was smart enough to have considered and accepted the Genesis 1:26-28 suggestion: On earth, only humankind can pursue order. Instead he listened to competitive Church in his home state.
President Lincoln, in his first inaugural address, was well aware that he led a 27 state to 7 state advantage and the United States industrial complex as he taunted the CSA's February 1861 cession. Lincoln said to the Christian zealots, "“In our present differences, is either party without faith of being in the right? . . . justice will surely prevail by the judgment of this great tribunal of the American people.”
The war Lincoln accommodated took some 650,000 United States' lives. The equivalent at today's population would be 7.2 million lives lost.
Slavery was practiced worldwide from the beginning of recorded history, some 5500 years ago. During the United States' second 100 years, the civic faction of We the People of the United States ended slavery, which the whole world may mimic.
I encourage fellow citizens to consider Genesis 1:26-28, which suggests that on earth only humankind may and can provide safety and security -- constrain harm. The complete Bible attests to the idea, for example, in Matthew 18:18 -- The God will not change what humankind chooses.

What we don't know on faith could affect us in actual-reality.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/, Feb 6

Dear President Trump:

Thank you. Your excellence aids our family life.

Your speech at the prayer breakfast inspired us. I think humankind’s intentions, at an abyss, turn positive on your persistence to discover the truth and acceptance that you cannot discover the ineluctable evidence on your own. “Ineluctable” means the combination: unavoidable, unchangeable, and irresistible.

You changed my prior allegiance to Thomas Paine’s common sense. Some scholars opine that Paine meant: how a person’s heart guided their choice to act rather than wait. You choose the ineluctable evidence rather than belief, in order to pursue necessary goodness to humankind. Paine also wanted fellow citizens to choose humble action grounded in experience, observations, and discovery. Thereby, choice may and can employ ineluctable evidence.

The 13 English colonies, who won independence from England, could not flourish alone, so negotiated a union. Willing people of 10 of 14 states ratified the United States of America, in the Constitution dated 1791. Its provisions for amendment and preamble proffer the eternal pursuit of statutory justice “to ourselves and our Posterity”. Whenever injustice is discovered, legislators act to improve the law if not enact just law. A representative national motto, in humility to ultimate judgment, might be “We Pursue Statutory Justice”.

Today, you happily recognized personal and political opponents, inferring to them: You are welcome here. You described the challenge of good choices as either or; yes or no; peace or conflict, then hoped to resolve division through compromise. But compromise cannot establish peace. The work for peace follows intentions rather than dependency. Please change the United States’ political goal to collaboration to necessary goodness rather than compromise to power.

You wonderfully share the common sense and necessary goodness encouraged by the American motto “In God We Trust”. However, humankind, at the leading edge of 200,000 years as Homo sapiens, has used mysterious gods to compete in war rather than collaborate for peace.

Genesis 1:26-28, a 5500 year-old Mesopotamian political philosophy, asserts that humankind may and can pursue peace order on earth: “in our likeness, so that they may rule [life on earth]”. However, competitive pursuits in the Middle East mutually constrained inhabitants in 3 inner-sectarian conflicts about 3 Abrahamic gods, opposing all other people.

Today, 7.8 billion people split: 0.2 % sectarian Jews, 24.3 % sectarian Muslims, and 32.3 % sectarian Christians, at their own mutual expense and oppressing the other 43.2 %. Thus, 3.35 billion people suffer Abrahamic pride to 4.45 billion descendants from 4000 year-ago Near East.

The United States’ excellence -- pursuit of statutory justice, is a unique consequence of humankind’s desire for necessary goodness. Polytheistic Mesopotamians, primitively observing the laws of physics, speculated that the gods were busied by their domain, defaulting order-on-earth to humankind.

Socially, 400 years ago, physics was labeled “nature”, in order to accommodate psychological-motivation-and-inspiration, such as peace. Philosophers hoped to rationalize facts rather than wait for ineluctable discovery. Modern physics researches psychology as a branch, obsoleting “nature”.

As the United States pursues colonization on Mars, humility to whatever constrains the consequences of human choice can be established. Only the United States has the experience and background to beneficially reform its motto from “In God We Trust” to “We Pursue Statutory Justice”, or better. Only you could effect such profound change to humankind.

It has taken most of my lifetime to pursue these thoughts and additional time to articulate them. I can’t imagine anyone but you, President Trump, effectuating any reform you may perceive from them. I appreciate your time to read this and want to help.

Sincerely,

Phillip Beaver

President Donald Trump, the United States republic, and humankind’s power, authority, and responsibility

Selected theme from this month

President Donald Trump, the United States republic, and humankind’s power, authority, and responsibility

Europeans don’t understand that democracy, as a form of government, ruinously pursues chaos. And democracy as the opportunity to vote must be constrained/licensed. They can’t comprehend that the 1775 revolutionary slogan “Don’t tread on me”, carries the commitment “I have no desire to tread on you, yet self-defense comes first to ourselves and our Posterity.” Consequently, the 13 independent states of 1783 ratified in 1791 the United States constitutional republic -- intending to pursue statutory justice by discovering then amending unjust laws.

The civic faction of We the People of the United States intends and pursues necessary goodness made plain by the consequences of the laws of physics. For example, leaping to death is not mysteriously corrected; intemperate practices like alcohol or drug use invite ruin; the gender-change-industrial-complex imposes mystery onto customers’ lives; beliefs grounded in mystery bemuse people from their desire for civic integrity.

These details were not known to the Sumer civilization, whose polytheistic kings 5500 years ago successively developed law codes that accepted the power, authority, and responsibility to rule to necessary goodness on earth. About 3900 years ago, a Semitic monotheist parochially expressed the Sumerian political philosophy in pre-Judeo-Christian Genesis 1:26-28:  On earth, only Homo sapiens may and can rule to necessary goodness according to the laws of physics.

But not every American avoids and resists democracy as a form of government. The misguided 2024 DNC issued a platform with the preamble ending, "History has shown that nothing about democracy is guaranteed. Every generation has to protect it, preserve it, choose it. We must stand together to choose what we want America to be."

The civic faction of We the People prefers “can and may” to must and rejected the DNC’s phantasy democracy. They upheld United States republicanism, the most promising governance on earth. I would not have expressed these opinions without our fellow citizen, President Donald Trump and his Vice-President, J. D. Vance.

The key to present civic integrity among We the People is to accept, appreciate, and share President Trump's United States' appreciation for each person, as they are and where they are this moment. Those who hate may choose reform, constraint, or elimination, depending on their attitude: stubbornness, crime, or evil, as adjudicated under the United States republican form of government. By design, its republic defeats democracy as a form of government while upholding democracy as the opportunity to the civil citizen to vote.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/epochtv/newark-new-jersey-officials-discuss-ice-raids-5798282

Mayor Baraka eloquently claims democracy and the Constitution then recalls the 1st amendment. For his reasons, he unconstitutionally believes "democracy in New Jersey", even though the Constitution guarantees New Jersey and its people a republican form of governance.

People who do not understand that democracy as a right to vote and negates neither the rule of law nor the importance of excluding democracy as a form of government.

Democrats are willingly mislead by the Democrat Party to think that passion to choose democracy can and may undo the rule of law. Democracy originates and fosters chaos. Choosing democracy cannot overthrow constitutional republicanism, which is not synonymous with the Republican Party. The civic faction of We the People of the United States hope that believers will reform the Democrat Party to constitutionalism and the rule of law rather than "[standing] together to choose what we want America to be”, quoting the 2024 DNC platform.

Presenting personal identification documents is the first step of due process under the rule of law. Collaboration rather than arrogance defines civic integrity. Civic integrity partitions necessary goodness from dependency, crime, and evil.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/pence-says-he-congratulated-trump-on-election-win-during-carter-funeral-5790268

Trump made clear that he felt the weight of Article II, Section 3's clause: [The President] shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.

Trump erred to place his trust in Pence rather than call a joint session of Congress earlier than January 6, or convince the reluctant Supreme Court to consider State voting evidence, or other Constitutional action.

As VP and running mate, Pence could not, should not have tried-to, use his lawyers to defend defiance of the Commander-in-Chief.

Pence is the unfortunate victim of Pauline Christianity, a personally ruinous distraction from Yeshua's civic influence. See the article in Wikipedia and follow your own curiosity about Yeshua.

Every person has their opportunity, whether scant or abundant, to comprehend competitive divinity-school doctrine and choose to pursue personal, necessary goodness -- civic integrity, even as they consider personal hopes and comfort.

It is not too late for Pence to reform to the ineluctable truth, which I seek. I think Yeshua's civic influence is reliable.

I recall Abraham Lincoln's First Inaugural address to modify a quote about opposing parties: "“Why should there not be a patient confidence in the ultimate justice of the people? Is there any better or equal hope in the world? [Truth and] justice will surely prevail by the judgment of [the] great tribunal of the American people.”

The people judged on November 5, 2024, electing Donald J. Trump the 47th President and J.D. Vance vice-President.

The United States Constitution, in its amendment provisions and in its intentions sentence (in the preamble), proffers statutory justice "to ourselves and our Posterity". The world benefits as the United States gradually discovers and eliminates injustice. Nevertheless, some U.S. citizens defy justice.

Until the Democrat Party purges injustice from its dreams and goals, the American people has no option but to empower the Republican Party.

The people know from direct experience and recorded observations that power corrupts and absolutism pursues ruin. Therefore, the people hold every hope that the Democrat Party will reform before the United States republic is lost to democracy's chaos. Socialism prevents the reliable responsibility that is required of human being (the practice).

So far, the extant Democrat Party insists on disregarding the American people. The world hopes they reform.

Columns and Opinion

I have 2 problems with this article.

First, having a small group of acquaintances with whom you can speak your mind is necessary to human being (verb). When a human-being speaks frankly to other human-beings, the sounds heard are healing to all ears. For example, in a formative Sunday school class, I was asked to say, "Christ died on the cross to redeem me of my sins". I responded, "I don't know that that is so. I think The God could have handled Pontius Pilate upholding justice." Trust me. The experience was heart pounding-emotional. However, these 30 years later I am comfortable with humility toward The God. I still attend Sunday school at the same church and am convinced that members there appreciate each other's unique pursuits of the ineluctable truth.

Second, R. E. Lee, prior to the Civil War, was a victim of his own denial. Fredrick Douglass had, in July 1852 in Rochester said that everyone know slavery is wrong if he or she is the slave. In 1854, white Christians were crossing into Kansas to kill white, Christian abolitionists -- the Civil War was underway but not accepted. In 1856, Lee wrote to his wife that The God was punishing blacks for thousands of years, due to sins of their ancestors, and that abolitionists were evil for trying to accelerate The God's schedule. See https://encyclopediavirginia.org/primary-documents/letter-from-robert-e-lee-to-mary-randolph-custis-lee-december-27-1856/. Unfortunately, Lee's Sunday school did not hear his voice.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/health/the-priest-who-lost-it-all-then-found-an-unlikely-cure-5719645

Matthew 18:15-17 presents Yeshua’s process for resolving human conflict

1.         If you perceive offense by someone, tell them in private.

a.   Only then can there be resolution.

b.   Their response may disclose your error.

i.    If so, you may apologize and make any needed amends.

ii.    If not, they may admit guilt and restore loss.

2.         If they don’t respond, present to someone else and persuade them to approach the accused with you.

a.   The third party may side with the accused.

b.   The accused may reject the joint presentation.

3.         If accusation survived without reconciliation, persuade the public to hold a forum to consider the case.

4.         Intrapersonal forgiveness and mercy prevent reconciliation.

Divinity schools teach forgiveness and mercy, blinding humankind from Yeshua’s process for conflict resolution in human being (verb).

Yeshua was one of humankind’s greatest political philosophers. Promoting Jesus the miracle worker and Christ the blood sacrifice obscures Yeshua’s civic influence.

This error is part of a transcendent, global promotion of “a higher power”, in order to usurp human responsibility to necessary goodness. However, humankind is aware of their power, authority, and responsibility to pursue necessary goodness, by 2 experiences and observations. First, discovering the laws of physics and how to use them to the good empowers humankind to continually advance. For example, humankind explores the cosmos near and far, formerly regarded as “the heavens”. Second, humankind’s responsibility was expressed beginning 5500 years ago in Sumerian law codes and again 3700 years ago in Genesis 1:26-28: female and male humankind may and can rule, in order to flourish on earth. Reform is possible.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/opinion/how-the-ancient-greeks-protected-democracy-and-what-it-teaches-us-today-5771471

Failure to appreciate and pursue the intentions of the United States’ constitutional-republic invites ruin. Democracy promises chaos.

1.    Globally, “democracy” is, blindly, the individual’s opportunity to vote, whether they support tyranny or practice responsibility.

2.    But the civic citizen does the work to know how to vote in self-interest including their family and posterity among fellow citizens. Civic citizens oppose tyrants.

3.    The civic faction of We the People of the United States accepts the power, the authority, and the responsibility to aid amending the Constitution whenever injustice is discovered.

4.    Each member of the civic faction owns personal commitment to their personal view of the intentions sentence in the preamble to the Constitution.

5.    I propose licensing only the civic faction to vote in federal if not all elections.

First, we must consider “power.” Imposition of political power is often met with military resistance. On the other hand, open-mindedness to the-ineluctable-truth invites civic influence. “Civic” means reliably-responsible to necessary goodness. For example, even though my image is white-skin, it does me no harm for a fellow-citizen to pursue hope and comfort in red-God. Reading “God is Red,” by Vine Deloria, Jr., on Fred Bear’s suggestion, opened my mind to an ancient faith in physics and its progeny, e.g., economics, biology, psychology, and imagination about the unknown.

I typically converse about real life with strangers, for example, the kind person who was cutting my hair one day. I asked my Super-Cut provider, “Do you know the meaning of African-American Christianity? It does not seem inviting to me, a European-American.”

She responded, “Think of me as an Ethiopian-Christian.”

Since then, I discovered the Ethiopian Tewahedo Bible and without objection expect believers to find hope and comfort in black-God---in their image. I may not study it more for now, and am grateful for the awareness.

If the ultimate consequence of God-images is the proposal to enslave white-people, I would fear another dreadful military resistance and recall Abraham Lincoln’s 1861 words, “Why should there not be a patient confidence in the ultimate justice of the people? Is there any better or equal hope in the world?”

I suspect Barack Obama envisions black-governance with consent of the governed. Instead, I expect the U.S. to reform from British-colonial psychology/tradition, at last. The human demand and the 1787 Constitution’s intention is for U.S. humble-integrity rather than for church-state-partnership.

On Nov 27, 2020, I shared this somewhat updated draft with my friend Fred Bear, so it seems out of date on 12/30/2024.

After walking in a local park for years, I think "love" is overrated and often unwanted. Because I can only walk alone, I discovered that appreciating every person I encounter enriches my ability to grin to all the outdoors. For someone wearing earbuds, silence is golden. I no longer take pictures of the birds. Consequently, I relish every opportunity to stretch then go walking, and when I start, I can't help but grin from mind to toe.

It is difficult not to want to tar and feather California officials who do not mimic Pepperdine fire resistance and safety, demonstrated in this report.

I walk in the park and try to talk to everyone who looks my way, especially those who say, "Hello". When someone passes by without even looking at me, I don't notice their passing out of sight. At the park, people I don't know make me appreciate even more the people I do know.

If I feel a friend has wronged me, I tell them so, intending to make amends. I learn that they had no intention to slight me, let alone wrong me. So far, none has responded that I wronged them, so there's been no need for apology or amends.

I learned this from Yeshua, in Matthew 18:15, CJB.

The speaker may and can try this: Never repeat a mistake (and share the idea with his wife). They may discover pursuit of perfection, confident they will reach their best possible achievement.

I think fear of reliable responsibility to achieve holds people back. It's much like fear of winning a tennis match.

Yeshua's civic influence may and can help. See for example, Matthew 18:15, the first step in conflict resolution between people.

People came to America because they heard about "Don't tread on me", and wanted to enjoin the reliable responsibility to live that way. They took care of their own way of living and helped neighbors who practiced civic integrity. When the British tried to stop them, Americans went to war to preserve their opportunity to live without treading on other people.

Then, unable to manage 13 independent states, they ratified the United States constitutional republic, which arranged representative rule of law and provided for amendment so as to pursue statutory justice.

US citizens negotiated with Native Americans. Immigrants assimilated after learning the preamble to the Constitution. However, some citizens born here lost sight of the and: "I won't tread on you".

During the recent 70 years, domestic ignorance of the United States republic became so widespread that the 2024 DNC-Platform's misguided preamble ends, "History has shown that nothing about democracy is guaranteed. Every generation has to protect it, preserve it, choose it. We must stand together to choose what we want America to be."

The civic faction of We the People of the United States, realizing that democracy ruins the rule of law, rejected the DNC and its November 5, 2024 candidates. At the rate they are performing since then, it will take them another 70 years to accept that America is ruled not by democracy but by the pursuit of statutory justice, as abstractly stated in the preamble to the United States Constitution.

A civic people appreciate a 2-party system, and when one is wounded it may and can reform. Please comment so I may improve my opinions.

In 2008, MWW voted for Obama, neutralizing my vote for McCain. We always talk, and her reasoning was the Obama would be less likely to send our troops into harm's way. I cheered her excellence, admitted Obama was a great speaker, but did not like him campaigning in Berlin. Nevertheless, I hoped he would succeed. In 2012, she was disappointed and voted for Romney.

There is no way I am going to collaborate with someone or a crowd who wants the President of the United States to fail. And I hope my opinion will influence some people to collaborate with the civic faction of We the People of the United States.

James, I read the list and did not recognize a single name as a Louisiana resident. I already knew I oppose Stephen King's politics. I regret that you and others are hurt by the United States faction who elected Trump and Vance.

I think 2025 is a pivotal year wherein two global groups may intend to rule to necessary goodness on earth. Both 1) people who think Christianity is oppressive and 2) Christians, whether Catholic, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox, Ethiopian Tewahedo, or other, comprehend and accept that the political philosophy offered in Genesis 1:26-28 offers relief from harm's dominance.

Genesis 1:26-28 states, in 2025 terms, in my words: On earth, female and male Homo sapiens, have the sole power, authority, and responsibility to discover and practice necessary goodness. I think during the next 4 years, most people observe preparation to colonize the planet Mars -- formerly held to be in "the heavens" and off-limits to humankind.

I appreciate your practice of sharing your opinion, James.

Again, to Mary Reeves:

Mary, do you realize your mythology is obsolete?

We are out of the WHO, Ukraine is destroyed, billionaires earn tax cuts because they help humankind rather than because they exist, and Trump is enormously wealthy -- wealthy enough to survive the brutality of the Democrat Party's 9-year failed democracy-promotion in the nation that guarantees to the people in their states a republican form of government.

One of my great satisfactions is being among the 14 million Americans who voted for Trump in the 2016 presidential primary. In the 2020 Democrat primaries, Harris got 844 votes compared to Biden's 19 million votes. That's 22,512 reasons to not vote for Harris in 2024.

With conviction you express, the Democrat Party will be out of power for more than 70 years. I do not want that, because unchallenged power corrupts. So, please think of me as a neighbor with the desire to not just survive, but to pursue happiness that could bring joy.

Most readers don't comprehend that democracy seeks to destroy the United States republic, wherein every individual has the power, the authority, and the responsibility to earn the way of living they want as long as they don't lessen any neighbor's equal opportunity.

I like the sign "Yeshua saves". Read about Yeshua's person at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yeshua. If you like using the Aramaic name of an Aramaic-speaking person, read about his influence in the Complete Jewish Bible-CJB; https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John%201&version=CJB. Note especially V 17. Let your curiosity in necessary goodness take you as far as you like.

With Rebekah's advice, I take 2 ea 1500 mg turmeric and 2 each 1000 mg Vitamin C per day, so that I can walk in the park and stretch muscles every day, clothed for the weather.

Also, I am a teetotaler excepting my share of a bottle of Prosecco with our daughters each New Years' eve and anticipating a glass of cabernet sauvignon when Cynthia next takes a glass of Malbec. Now that I think about it, I'll make certain hers is a barolo.

I write about heterophobia: male fear of committing to a woman, in order to aid her unto authentic family. Together with her mate, she may extend four traditions unto a unique branch.

A woman represents a potential crowd of children, grandchildren, and descendants. She has the psychology to care for a crowd including her authentic mate. Intimacy with her requires trust-in and commitment-to personal responsibility to aid her and consequential offspring for life. She has the wisdom to aid her mate when needed and to assimilate his considerations, in order to collaborate for necessary goodness. Together, they may educate their children so as to comprehend and intend human being (a practice).

The counter to that psychological block is shared by Yeshua in Matthew 19:5, CJB, "For this reason a man should leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and the two are to become one flesh". Cynthia is paralyzed by PSP, so I consulted with her sister, who opines that "should leave" refers to rededicating loyalty without losing personal identity. I like that.

(If "Yeshua" is new to you, read the Wikipedia article. I was glad to see, in yesterday's line in DC, a pre-made sign, "Yeshua Saves". The Matthew quote affirms Genesis 1:26-28, 5500 year-old Sumerian political philosophy: The married couple reflect(s) The God, whatever it may be. )

Alas, being overzealously Protestant and unschooled Genesis 1's distinction as Semitic-speaking people's opinion about Sumerian-speaking people's discovery and discipline, I was not prepared to fall in love (it takes two) with a Louisiana-French-Catholic woman. I was awed to escort her to mass, and did not comprehend her serene confidence when she expressed dismay that the church discredited 93 saints in 1969. That should have convinced me on the spot to stop trying to be Protestant and escort her, then later our 3 children to mass, never denying Yeshua's civic influence.

Neither Protestantism, nor Catholicism, nor Islam, nor any other Bible-based religion promotes the 5500 year-old (pre-Israel) message: Only Homo sapiens can pursue necessary goodness on earth. Yeshua also affirms this message, in Matthew 5:48, in my words: You may and therefore can pursue perfection on par with your origins.

It's a good illustration of capitalism. An entrepreneur with the will and means to acquire and manage resources, capital, labor, and risk in order to supply a product or service at customer-affordable price is happily rewarded by citizens who need or want that provision.

My professional-apiarist friend, formerly with LSU, is perhaps one of the wisest people I've ever known.

A decade ago, facing either $1100 to repair my wonderful 42" riding mower with blades thick enough to shave all the cypress knees, or $5000 to update it, I chose to pay a professional to mow our lawn. I estimate the pro provided and maintains about $80,000 in equipment. My Christmas gratuity was about 4.4 % of the annual cost. I'll probably increase payments about that percentage on this year's first mowing, assuming that is attractive to the entrepreneur.

My overriding consideration is the fact that while I intend at least another 4 decades to read, write, speak, and LISTEN, I cannot guarantee my hope, even though my awareness of what to eat and do is improving.

Theocracy means, to Europeans or Americans, respectively,

Oxford languages (OL): a system of government in which priests rule in the name of God or a god. Also, divine means of, from, or like God or a god, in monotheisms; the creator and ruler of the universe and source of all moral authority; the supreme being.

Merriam-Webster (MW): government of a state by immediate divine guidance or by officials who are regarded as divinely guided. Divine means of, relating to, or proceeding directly from God or a god. God means the supreme or ultimate reality.

Considerations: I see here a new application of “ineluctable”, the combination of conditions: not to be avoided, changed, or resisted. Today, I recognize “ineluctable reality”; ineluctable means collectively, not to be avoided, changed or resisted. MW attempts to avoid God by using divinity, essentially a synonym. Interestingly, OL does not capitalize supreme being, suggesting that worship&praise is not necessary. Instead of OL’s “ruler of the universe . . . “ MW uses “ultimate reality”. I prefer actual-reality, in order to avoid the implication that research is complete, in other words, that the ultimate has achieved the actual. That leads me to “the ineluctable reality”, as pleasing synonym to actual-reality.

When I must, in order to attempt effectual speech, I use “The God”, to suggest humility to whatever constrains the consequences of human choice. If pressed on what “The . . .” means, I say, “Whatever constrains the consequences of human choice”. I select “constrains” rather than controls, in order to appreciate Genesis 1:26-28, which informs me that in my life, my community, my state, our nation, and on earth, my choice, while not controlled, may and can, in self-interest, conform to the laws of physics that have been discovered as well as extant laws that remain a mystery to humankind.

Pastor Lorenzo Sewell, at President Trump’s 2nd Inauguration, wonderfully expressed gratitude for the “millimeter miracle”. Intentionally or not, he invoked the statistical variations that are observed and experienced as the laws of physics impact a human decision to act. A sharpshooter, choosing the target’s head rather than heart, adjusts for wind and other factors but does not, cannot, predict Trump’s instant decision to look to the right. I appreciate the incident as evidence that The God constrained the sharpshooter’s choices and am not about to characterize The God. It seems to me President Trump neither claims theocracy nor corrects my opinion.

Thank you for reading my opinions. Please improve them.

Familiarity with politics breeds contempt.

Familiarity with divinity brings fear.

Familiarity with power threatens corruption.

Familiarity with the laws of physics and progeny brings opportunity to pursue necessary goodness.

The truth is ineluctable – neither avoidable, nor changeable, nor resistible. When there’s doubt, humility and humor are options.

Jan 3

The civic faction of We the People of the United States can and may improve public dialogue, by replacing “truth” with “the ineluctable truth”, intentionally weakening opinion that would avoid, change, or resist the evidence. #USpreambler

https://www.facebook.com/jim.robertson.52687, Jan 25

I don't think Israel influences Trump, admitting I don't know the ineluctable truth.

Jan 25 also

Jim, a couple thoughts.
I does me no harm if you never consider Yeshua; however, what if Yeshua demands attention? What if Yeshua does not respond to "Jesus" or "Christ", much as I would not respond to "Gideon".
By affirming Genesis 1:26-28, Yeshua suggests accepting the power, authority, and responsibility to rule rather than "[believe] we are destined to govern". In Matthew 5:48, Yeshua suggests pursuit of perfect governance. In Matthew 18:18 Yeshua says whatever failure we accept will not be corrected by The God, whatever that entity may be. Paul refuted Yeshua, and Matthew, Mark, and Luke supported Paul's ministry to compete with Yeshua's message: you may and can pursue perfect behavior.
The Bible teaches the reader anything and any god any person/group wants to believe. Comprehending and adopting humility to The God requires intention to pursue the ineluctable truth "to ourselves and our Posterity"; that is from generation to generation.
I think Christians unintentionally express humility when they speak and write in public "God" rather than "the Trinity", which some seminaries and divinity schools impose. I want to take that humility a step further with the term "The God" to humbly represent whatever constrains the consequences of human choices.
Please improve these opinions.
Phil

Jan 23

Jim, I appreciate your posts and two dialogues they invite.

First, I recall and borrow from Abraham Lincoln's 1st Inaugural Address. "[T]he Almighty Ruler of Nations, with His eternal truth and justice . . . will surely prevail by the judgment of the great tribunal of the American people.”

Second, divinity schools and seminaries fail humankind by not promoting the 5500 year old (pre-Judeo-Christian) political philosophy that provincially is expressed in Genesis 1:26-28: On earth, only humankind may and can rule to necessary goodness, in the image of The God.

The laws of physics reflect The God, and Yeshua affirms necessary goodness in The God's image.

I think both the United States Constitution and President Trump affirm Genesis 1:26-28, each often pursuing necessary goodness known only to The God.

Jan 2

The civic faction of We the People of the United States has the power, the authority, and the responsibility to rule their governments in the United States, in order to aid life to humankind. We know this, since the laws of physics continually resolve mystery.

“Civic” means living in pursuit of necessary goodness, in humility to the task. In other words, performance in civic integrity is judged beyond the actor. One judge is the consequences of choices to either act or retain humility.

Based on ineluctable evidence, choices may be good, bad, or evil. Fellow citizens divide according to consequences of personal choices. The civic citizens work to earn both the way of living they desire and to aid safety and security to fellow citizens, including the bad and the evil.

The past seven decades have informed the civic faction that passivity accommodates progressive divergence from necessary goodness. Divergence is approaching chaos.

The necessity of goodness is disclosed by sincerely considering pre-history’s political principle, expressed prior to Judeo-Christianity in Genesis 1:26-28: female and male human being (verb) may and can order life on earth. I mention female first because her vulnerability to generate, host insemination, gestate, deliver a dependent, who may be nourished unto necessary goodness requires an authentic male. Authenticity requires dedication to their union for life unto grandchildren and beyond.

The civic faction earns enough to aid fellow citizens who can’t earn their way, to reform those who won’t, to constrain criminals, and to annihilate evil people. For example, discover and eliminate people who intend to sacrifice their life in order to kill non-believers.

Response:

Perhaps you can understand my view on relationships, by considering the familiar phrase "I'm in love with . . .". I learned decades ago that I may be sincerely attracted to a woman, while she may not even notice my existence. I humbly believe my wife remains in love with me. Similarly, I am humble to The God, whatever that entity may or may not be.

Fred, if you ever come to Baton Rouge, let me know. I want to try to arrange for you to speak at my church on the topic: What can Christianity do to lessen the world's chaos? If not at my church, at the public library, and that will take a few weeks for me to restore my authorization to borrow a meeting room.

Michael D. Day, I find this post coming to me on 12/30/24 "unbelievable" influence in my life.
Here are the remarkable facts from this morning. I think this image is of Chato, Apache chief. However, Fred Bear is hot on my mind as I wish he could speak at my church on the question: What can Christianity do to aid lessening the world's chaos? So your reminder prompted me to Fred's Facebook page where I wondered once more: Is Fred still alive? Tracing down, looking for a message from him, I arrived at my post to Fred on November 27, 2020, "God in man's image" with a quora URL. I clicked on the URL and discovered that my post was still in draft. I updated the language a little and posted the message I had (apparently) wanted Fred to affirm. Obviously, dialogue changes my thinking (life), and I am grateful. Thank you.

Phil Beaver does not “know.” He trusts in and is committed to theineluctabletruth, which can only be discovered. Conventional wisdom has truth founded on reason, but it obviously does not work.

Phil is agent for A Civic People of the United States, a Louisiana, education non-profit corporation. See online at promotethepreamble.blogspot.com, and consider essays from the latest and going back as far as you like. He uses the hashtag #USpreambler.
