Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on the ineluctable truth. Ineluctable means:  Not to be assailed, avoided, broken, changed, escaped, mystified, neglected, obfuscated, rationalized, resisted, revoked, or voided. Some people erroneously imagine limiting the ineluctable truth, for example, trying to change it.

"Civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for individual happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or society. Civic citizens neither initiate nor accommodate harm to or from anyone. Civic citizens are reliably responsible to the good rather than the bad in connections and transactions.


Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual appreciation:  For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase its proposal as follows: A civic faction, We the People of the United States, proffer, practice, and may amend 6 public pursuits —- integrity, justice, safety, strength, prosperity, and responsibility --- “in order to” pursue happiness “to ourselves and our Posterity”. I want to improve my interpretation by listening-to and considering other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787 text, unless it is amended by the civic-people.

It seems the Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one with status has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by appreciative fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the faction who collaborate for statutory justice, We the People of the United States.

Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren to both born Americans and legal immigrants. Congressional freedom of religion, which fellow citizens have no means to constrain, oppresses freedom to develop integrity. This can be remedied by changing the First Amendment from “prohibiting” to “promoting”.

Physics delivered a bullet to presidential candidate Donald Trump’s ear, effecting salvation of his life. He was saved by the mystery which constrains the consequences of human choices.

A terrorist chose to pull his trigger several times. Trump chose to turn his head. A firefighter died. I don’t know the ineluctable truth, so can’t fault anyone who thinks religion saved Trump’s life and took the firefighter.

President Trump used religious poetry at this year’s national Christmas-Tree lighting. Who would fault rejoicing, grace and truth, love, salvation, and service during the annual season of goodwill to all? We heard that religion for all is coming back to America, then “Merry Christmas”, “Happy Hanukkah”, and “Happy New Year”. These are familiar expressions of the traditional season. Yet they are exclusive to 72% of the world’s population.

Having spent 75 years’ aware-attempt-to-accept Christian-church, my perception is that the world’s greatest hidden commission -- to discover and practice goodness-which-motivates-good-behavior – unfortunately became the most dominant wokeism – a belief in injustice toward blood sacrifice – culminated in incarnate-God, on the cross.

It’s no burden to me for civic citizens to pursue the wokeism they like, as long as they don’t break my window. However, the traditional poetry church imposes no longer appeals to me. I prefer good behavior and pursue perfect goodness, an idea which was expressed by Yeshua, the Galilean political philosopher.

While President Trump coined it and konws, I think MAGA is civic, including Judeo-Christian. I think MAGA lives without attempt to impose religion on anyone. Civic citizens preserve opportunity and amend civil law when they discover injustice.

MAGA is expressed in Genesis 1:25-28: on earth, humankind is in charge of peace. Genesis-1 MAGA is accommodated by the United States republic, which was specified and ratified on December 15, 1791, 234 years ago: in this republic, “ourselves and our Posterity” pursues goodness-which-motivates-good-behavior.

I appreciate Bessent's support for civic citizens and his consequential support for President Donald Trump and V.P. J.D. Vance.

The Democrat Party seems so evil it would not bother me to witness them unable to win elections during the next 100 years. I perceive their 2025 abuse of the filibuster as an invitation to that outcome.

This Congressional Meeting invokes the 2500 year old Euthyphro Dilemma --- a philosophical question posed by Plato's Socrates, asking whether something is good because God says so, or if God commends goodness. This dilemma pits divinity against ethics. Only ethics stands the test of time.

 

It's shocking to hear government emphasis on "religious freedom" as key to peace and prosperity among humankind. Plato pointed out that God is a mystery which ought not be employed to lessen goodness.

Yes. Freedom is a social construct.

It is well known that the individual, groups, societies, nations, and humankind is constrained by physics and progeny, such as mathematics, economics, and psychology.

I think so but don’t know the ineluctable truth.

I think goodness existed before the Big Bang, 13.7 billion years ago. Humankind, emerging perhaps 7 million years ago, could discover goodness. However, only Homo sapiens, who became the dominant species, mating with none other perhaps a couple millennia ago have the capacity to oppose badness.

Homo sapiens (HS) is distinct in that their brains process information fast enough to instantaneously choose goodness over badness, developing a database of experiences and observations. First, HS had to invent writing and grammar, perhaps 10,000 years ago. Next, they had to invent law codes, which the Sumer civilization did starting 5500 years ago.

Sumer’s polytheistic political philosophy was that many gods, led by perhaps 10 principal ones, competed in heaven, leaving humankind to compete on earth. The codes punished perpetrators of badness. City-states served patron gods, who defend inhabitants from invasion. However, the Babylonians conquered Sumer, and Hammurabi revised their law codes about 3700 years ago.

Since then, the concept of patron gods expanded into competitive monotheism, and today, there are 4,000 to 10,000 doctrinal Gods. As a consequence, the earth is in chaos. Hopefully, Homo sapiens have reached the abyss and has consciousness to pursue goodness that motivates good behavior.

The United States Constitution, 1791, specifies a republic that may and can pursue statutory justice.

The majority wants privacy, especially regarding sex.

In the dei world, most people assure if not demand personal food, toilet, and privacy.

It gives a different view of my expression that civic integrity is essential to statutory justice, the object of civil order. With civic integrity, a citizen upholds the constitution even while he or she is aiding discovery of injustice and suggesting legislation to improve the law.

At this moment, Christian Nationalism (a minority faction of republicans) is making the claim that social democracy (a small faction of democrats) cannot and will not ruin the United States republic. A faction thinks Judeo-Christianity dominates the annual season of goodwill among humankind. That faction thinks DEI's wokeism merely poked the mystery that constrains human choice, arrogantly labeled "God".

However, Judeo-Christianity, featuring perhaps Pauline Trinity versus Moshe's Hashem, is the dominant wokeism in the world, with 2.3 billion believers among 8.2 billion people (28 %). The disruptive-wokeist Democratic Socialists of America has 0.1 million members among 250 million adults. There are about 15 socialist nations.

Some celebrities express the view that Judeo-Christianity is the emissary for whatever constrains the consequence of human choice. They ignore the fact that 5.9 billion people are non-believers, after 5500 years' writing and grammar which empowers collaboration. They seem to perceive that the 28% need not accommodate the 72%.

Without objection, I expect a stranger in my journey to be encourager, listener, truth-speaker, and of good will. A few people don't participate.

After nearly 10 years practice, mostly at Perkins Road Park, Baton Rouge, LA, I perceive that goodness sustains the smiles I encounter and invites my participation.

After 75 years pursuing church and state doctrine I tentatively trust-in and commit-to, I realized that a principle of capitalism is being utilized to keep the poor poor yet maintain flourishing consumerism and skim the revenues.
More than ever before, I want to influence people to appreciate economics.
First, a civic citizen earns his or her bread, warmth, and privacy, not simply to avoid taking what a bureaucrat or pastor offers, but to accept power, authority, and responsibility to constrain chaos in their way of living.
Second, a civic citizen neither supports belief-against-evidence, passivism, dissidence, rebellion, and wickedness nor accommodates evil.
Third, a civic citizen chooses a republican form of governance -- in the United States constitutional pursuit of statutory justice. And votes, in order to discover and practice goodness which motivates good behavior.
Fourth, a civic citizen offers goodness to fellow citizens who neither cause nor accommodate harm to contemporary inhabitants.
Fifth, redistributing wealth, rather than facilitating self-interested pursuit of goodness, is harmful. A civic church and state does all it can to prevent poverty-acceptance.

Sixth, since churches do all they can to promote their faction rather than discover and practice goodness, I choose to trust-in and commit-to my city and state in the United States republic. Yeshua, Ralph Waldo Emerson, George Washington, Machiavelli, Albert Einstein, Plato’s Agathon, our children, Cynthia, and many others have been trying to inform me. I’m just glad I lived long enough to listen with a little humility.

We are, so far, failing youth. Every American may and can own their earned-interpretation of the amendable preamble to the United States Constitution. I quote:

My paraphrase and opinion is: A civic faction, We the People of the United States, proffer, practice, and may amend 6 public pursuits —- integrity, justice, safety, strength, prosperity, and responsibility --- “in order to” pursue happiness “to ourselves and our Posterity”.

"A civic" invites other Homo sapiens to suggest for collaboration to improve United-States-pursuit of statutory justice.

Inhabitants who don't own a reliable view of the preamble ought not receive a license to vote in elections, whether local or national.

Again: In Genesis 1:26-28, God informs us that on earth, female and male Homo sapiens are in charge of order. To pray to God, "You do my duty" seems arrogant.

I'm the luckiest man alive.
Every time I got out of line Cynthia told me so.
Like the first-anniversary dinner when she ignored my speech and I asked; why? She said, "You ought to see this Italian guy across the room." I objected. She said, "What's your problem? You stare at every woman returning from communion." I made up my mind to change -- no longer view women like flowers for everyone to enjoy. It's not easy but worth it.
Or the time a snake was curled on the garage floor next to her car door. When I shooed the garden snake off into the yard, she said, "I'm going to go find me a husband who will kill a snake." From then on, any snake was dead on Cynthia's sight.
Or, after she bought our lot and we planned our house during the 8 years after Jimmy Carter drove interest rates too high for us, I cried and said, although I had bought 5 properties I could inspect, I could not risk signing the contract to build it. She said, "That's not the husband I married." I stopped crying. We enjoyed home for 40 years and our daughters and I preserve it.
Most of all, when I badgered Cynthia over a mistake she made and apologized for, she got out of bed, turned the 5 lights on, shook her finger in my face and said, "Let me tell you what you are: you are unforgiving. If you don't stop badgering me, I am going to get a divorce." I imagine it, got on my knees, and never spoke about the mistake again.
I'm crying to see her again . . . sing to her . . . touch her . . . feel her kiss. Still living the dream, I wear and gaze at the ring she gave me --- the luckiest man ever.

However, I think the problem this guy expresses, without offering a solution, is that males inherit the perception that God is in charge and in the family the man is God's emissary. He never discovers either Psalm 82, which could inform him that he is, in the image of God, a god facing death. Or John 10:34, with its affirming lower-case "g".
The problem is exacerbated, because children are not taught the Genesis 1:26-28 Sumerian Perception: female and male Homo sapiens have the power, authority, and responsibility to pursue on earth goodness which motivates good behavior. Instead, they are taught they are sinners, unable to pursue perfection of their person.
Adults who comprehend these ideas do all they can to aid children in their desire for goodness which motivates good behavior.
The man who accepts these concepts or better serves his family fearlessly.

Successive generations inculcate ideologies that justify dependency, or badness, or wickedness, even unto evil. Some happily say, "We are sinners," resisting power, authority, and responsibility to goodness.

In 1994, "my Baptist church" offended my LA-French Catholic sister-in-law, when she called to ask how to send money for Mass for my deceased Father, Fred Beaver. Who does not comprehend Mass and a kind response?
I read to discover my person in the world and in the USA. Incensed, I withdrew from Baptism and discovered later I had withdrawn from Christianity.

In 2021, I perceived America wanted to repress Christians, I returned to "my church" to help "the salt of the earth", by expressing 3 ideas. First, everyone may pursue the meta-physical Jesus, whatever it actually is. Second, we may rely on the ineluctable truth to guide the research; "ineluctable" means, together, not to be avoided, changed, or resisted. Third, Genesis 1:26-28 informs us that on earth, humankind is in charge of order. Also, while I was neither Baptist nor Christian, my Catholic wife could no longer provide social support and I appealed to them to strengthen me and pray for her and our care-taking daughters. They did. I shared my Catholic family’s 50-year history with "my church".
During the past five years there, I learned that reading about Yeshua, the person whom Aramaic-speaking Yosef and Miryam named in Nazareth of 2000 years ago, had always influenced me to choose good behavior. But I had to apply modern discovery to primitive parallels to goodness, in order to benefit. For example, Yeshua's process for conflict resolution, in Matthew 18:15-17, starts with informing a fellow citizen you perceive they offended you. Doing so positions you to discover their view; and, sometimes, the fact that, you were the offender. The other 2 parts of the brief instruction are equally deep. Adding V 18, Yeshua reflects Genesis 1:26-28; each person may and can constrain chaos in their way of living. Eventually, I admitted that Yeshua had only begun to inform me to discover and practice goodness-which-motivates-good-behavior.
On "all souls" day, November 2, our daughters and I happily planned to attend the evening Catholic Mass that would commemorate my wife's passing. That morning, when "my church" announced their celebration, they omitted my wife’s soul, and a friend factually explained that Cynthia was not a member. Friends have only one chance to first-time-commemorate loss, and I can think of no greater loss than spouse. Applying Yeshua's third step, I left "my church". My shadow will not visit there.
Celebrate that I lived long enough to accept goodness; after more than 75 years trying to submit to church, I happily accepted Yeshua's influence, in order to continue discovery and practice of goodness-which-motivates-good-behavior. In the meantime, I look forward to meeting old friends at Perkins Road Park --- to pray for churches, societies, and nations to discover goodness-which-motivates-good-behavior.
I think citizens who are perfecting goodness-which-motivates-good-behavior, whether religious or not, don’t need to change.

Nov 16 My couple years' fascination with Sumer civilization broke through to Mesopotamian dynasties. Their attention to monarchical responsibility to care for the poor, needy, widows, and orphans is at least 5500 years old. Intentions have not progressed, so far.
The park where I walk enriches my society. If someone asks why I walk looking down, I answer, "I'm looking for Ben Franklin". Most people think they get it.
Benjamin Franklin recommended government that provides for the needy without discouraging responsible work. So far, government encourages dependency, and I think Church and church are responsible for exponential harm during 5500 years -- plying the needy, in order to skim or rent-seek the revenues. The cost is staggering!
Instead, the civic faction may improve every education department on earth, including in states in the United States, to inculcate in youth the comprehension and intention to develop personal curiosity and intelligence so as to personally pursue their unique, perfect journey through life.
I think a civic person earns their responsible way of living, aids local and national government to encourage independent goodness, discourages badness, resists wickedness, and aids just annihilation of evil. Nov 11, I do not know the ineluctable truth so can only write my opinion.
I think the buzzwords are empty; "relationship with Christ", "knowing Jesus personally", "the transforming power of Jesus".
Further, "Christ" or "Jesus" reflects writings of Paul or of John. A person is more challenged by Yeshua, the name his Aramaic-speaking Jewish mom and dad gave him in ancient Nazareth.
Reading "The Complete Jewish Bible", 1998, for only 2 years gave me insights unto Yeshua's influence. For example, in Matthew 18:15-17, Yeshua, a political and religious philosopher, presents his formula for collaboration in church: if you think a fellow erred, tell them in private so they can share their vision and perhaps change yours; if he or she resista collaboration tell another fellow and try to convince them to spend time on the issue; if that fails, bring the debate to the entire church. And Matt 18:18 teaches that whatever choices fellows make are not corrected by heavenly powers. Knowing Yeshua's intentions facilitates solving human conflict --- promotes peace.
After 2 years accumulation of Yeshua-influence, I now pursue discovery of goodness which motivates good behavior. I find it in Perkins Road Park, Baton Rouge and on the phone after conducting business. I find goodness everywhere but in churches and in speeches about "Jesus Christ".
The best way to help the poor is by motivating them to accept their natural curiosity and intelligence that motivates them to accept power, authority, and responsibility to constrain chaos in their way of living and to collaborate with fellows to pursue their unique goodness.
Churches do not have to disappear or stop seeking Yeshua's influence, in order to pursue goodness which motivates good behavior. But if necessary, they may dissolve, because parks and libraries are available.
If a person seeks Yeshua's influence, it is reliable.
I hope my opinion inspires someone to suggest an improvement for me to consider, so I may approach ineluctable goodness.

I don't think that find would help erroneous citizens, whether Democrat or Republican. I think fellow citizens and churches can discover goodness that motivates good behavior.

Nov. 6 Jonah observed an opportunity to aid humankind by pointing out that Niviah was misbehaving and could choose goodness. But Jonah questioned his goodwill would be effective. His fear worked to Jonah's loss when Niviah independently reformed.

Every civic citizen has the opportunity to discover and practice goodness or wait for new information, unless being attacked or worse killed. The opportunity for good behavior is often fleeting and fear to act can invite evil.

This is my 82nd season of goodwill to everyone. the world seems at a 70-year economic crisis: will capitalism prevail over social Marxism? Will the United States republic survive “democracy”? Will wanton TDS achieve annihilation?
NYC seems to desire social democracy, or chaos. Fox News seems to advocate “Jesus Christ”, not admitting the obvious: there are 45,000 Christian sects. Some of the United States Cabinet conducts Bible reading: As Judeo-Christianity, or to include Hagar, Sarah, and Keturah?
Humankind has 2000 years’ evidence that humankind cannot look to higher power, whether rational or intricately-constructed mystery; whether church or state or their partnership. Add the prior 1700 years’ divine covenants, and we can look back to primitive thought for possible relief from chaos.
One conclusion from polytheistic Mesopotamia, the so-called Cradle of Civilization, was that the gods were too busy struggling over the heavens and therefore left to humankind the power, authority, and responsibility (PAR) to order life on earth. This political philosophy seems expressed in Sumerian law codes dating from 5500 years ago.
In every generation, the individual who perceives PAR intentionally constrains chaos in his or her way of living. With practice, they discover goodness which motivates good behavior. They easily recognize like-minded-people, whether they articulate “goodness which . . . “, or not.
I think goodness which motivates good behavior is preferable to any mystery-tradition. I did not invent this thought and consider it a consequence of 3 quarter-centuries of Bible reading, ending with my view of Genesis 1:26-28.: On earth, female and male human persons unite to order life on earth.

In fact, my 82nd season of goodwill would not have been possible without my past 4 years attending a local Baptist church. I went there, sharing with the senior pastor then that I was returning after 27 years hiatus to discover my person, in order to share that humankind may and can pursue 3 opportunities: the ineluctable truth, the metaphysical Jesus (a label which church unintentionally informed me hides the person, Yeshua the Nazarene, who discouraged badness and promoted goodness), and Genesis 1:26-28, which informs that on earth humankind is in charge of order to living things and to the earth.

The Bible represents Genesis 1:26-28 as the word of God, so when churches teach believers to pray for God to provide order on earth, they are teaching arrogance rather than obedience: badness rather than goodness: Humankind is in charge on earth. If the Bible is accepted as the word of God, its first chapter cannot be ignored.

The person who considers and accepts Genesis 1:26-28 has the authority and power to constrain chaos in his or her way of living -- to reject badness and practice goodness. Collectively, the faction who constrain chaos in their way of living sustain life on earth -- make passiveness, rebellion, crime, wickedness, evil, and spirituality possible. If there are no civic citizens, civilization ends.

Accepting the Bible does not require rejection of church. Brothers and sisters in church meet, intending to discover and practice goodness that motivates good behavior. Those who accept the first chapter of the Bible, especially the commission in V 26-28, may and can discover the improvements their church pursues. Otherwise, church, now expanded to 45,000 sects, will continue to deviate unto total destruction.

This is a lot to consider. A lot has happened.

Again: Divinity schools ruin fellow citizens who choose to be clergy, by not informing them that education to goodness that motivates good behavior is the way to care for the poor, rather than to subsidize impoverished-consumerism in order to help the elites, such as the preachers who collect and skim the tithe. Capitalism depends on informed consumers selecting beneficial goods and services. Socialism redistributes revenues, in order to keep the poor satisfied with poverty and the middle class satisfied to support elites. The partnership of church and elites is ruinous to a nation.

Civic citizens, who pursue goodness which motivates good behavior, oppose Judeo-Christian pretense to Christian apology. Fox News and other agents are culpable in promoting Jesus Christ with no clue that Yeshua of Galilee promoted goodness that motivates good behavior.

In the world’s first known law codes, 5500 years ago, Sumerian kings maintained mysteries yet admonished civic people not to economically enslave the needy, widows, and orphans. Semitic-speaking dissidents to power, authority, and responsibility (PAR), 3900 years ago, converted the Sumerian policy into obligation to feed the poor.

A dissident Semite faction created covenants of non-human blood sacrifice, in order to bargain for mystery’s favor despite bad behavior, like keeping the poor dependent.

Regarding a civic people’s stand against abuse of children, Jewish literature, for example, the Book of Joel, offers deep thought I paraphrase, below.

Joel 4:21 concludes that offenses against children are never forgiven.

Every American may and can own their earned-interpretation of the preamble to the United States Constitution. I quote:

My paraphrase (trust and commitment) is: A civic faction, We the People of the United States, proffer, practice, and may amend 6 public pursuits —- integrity, justice, safety, strength, prosperity, and responsibility --- “in order to” pursue happiness “to ourselves and our Posterity”.

"A civic" invites other Homo sapiens to suggest-collaboration, in order to improve United-States-pursuit of statutory justice. “Posterity” includes legal-immigrants. Neither race nor religion is a preamble-feature.

Inhabitants who don't practice a reliable view of the preamble ought not receive a license to vote in elections, whether local or national. In other words, a civic people require a voter-license within their nation.

Nov 4 Once there was a man born to parents of reliable, lower-middle-class materialism and gender-competitive independent-Protestantism; a communitarianism divided on opinion about imagined mystery. As an emerging young adult, he examined Hinduism and its theology of reincarnation and concluded that one communitarianism is enough to occupy a lifetime and need not prevent civic life – pursuit of peace to humankind.
When he fell in love with a Louisiana-French-Catholic woman, he had no idea he was entering a third communitarian world.
Her serene confidence and pure goodness so attracted him that he entered training to position the Church to conduct the marriage. He happily committed to rear any children in the Catholic faith but intended to modify neither inculcated “priesthood of the believer” nor “once saved always saved”. Yet, as he experienced continual conflict and reviewed history’s record of badness, he would accept mystery without communitarianism, in order to pursue and practice goodness.
He brooked church-abuse of his curiosity and choices, for 45 more years. When his wife of 56 years died, the church he had befriended heartlessly slighted her twice in 6 months. She was not a member -- only the wife of a friend. He chose civic independence, leaving communitarianism behind so as to befriend civic human beings.
Closing the door as he departed communitarianism at last, he felt aligned with the origins of his unique person unified with his wife. The next day, as he happily maintained the dream (marriage with his wife, his better half and angel), he felt joy he had never before imagined.
And the face in her portrait on the den-bookcase seemed alive as he and their daughters sang goodnight to her: Let Me Call You Sweetheart.

I like a mutually-iterative process. It has 3 phases.
First, the speaker expresses opinion about the object of discussion so well that the listener comprehends.
Speaker may have to refine words and phrases to find language and grammar used-by or useful-to listener. Second, once the object is established, the listener considers personal perspectives that might improve speaker's opinion. If so, speaker must comprehend, so as to grasp the perspective and either adopt it, present evidence for rejecting it, or suggest improvement on the perspective. In some cases, speaker/listener roles swap. This iterative process continues until both parties perceive they concur.
Third, they discuss whether or not the now shared opinion should be chosen for action.
Fourth, if the opinion is actionable, do circumstances warrant action?

I hope an iterative process makes sense to some readers. For it to work, both parties may and can agree that truth is insufficient and to pursue ineluctable truth. Ineluctable means (my view of Merriam Webster's usage): together, not to be avoided, changed, or resisted. If the discussion approaches the ineluctable truth, it has been worthwhile. Typical British dictionaries omit "change", creating the opportunity to change "truth" by changing the object.

For example, discussion of the power, authority, and responsibility to order life on earth can be prevented by introducing the competitive mystery of God.

After 75 years attempting to learn and practice communitarianism, I choose to pursue the goodness which inspires good behavior.

To consider a church, I suggest finding their mission statement, value statement, or church covenant. Read it, and if you are not willing to trust-in and commit-to it, don't let your shadow grace that assembly.

Each of us is a person, born to discover and practice goodness to fellow citizens, and civic parents know that. If a church does not attest to the pursuit of goodness to humankind (rather than a faction), don't waste your precious opportunity to serve.

Today, I watched much of the House-Subcommittee debate on your renewed designation of Nigeria as a country of particular concern. I agree. My deep concern may seem strange.

Religion promotes human-arrogance against a mystery: God. Each church who “knows God" lacks humility. Past generations left to your administration the opportunity to replace the proud chaos of “freedom of religion” with pursuit and practice of goodness-which-motivates-good-behavior.

After 45 years trying to embrace Mom and Dad’s Protestantism plus the Louisiana-French-Catholicism precious to my wife, Cynthia, I dropped out for 27 years, in order to discover my person.

Then, observing that some Americans wanted to persecute United-States-Christians, I attended and financially supported my neighborhood Baptist church for 4 years. On All Souls Day, November 2, 2025, the pastors did not commemorate Cynthia’s passing on May 17, 2025, because “she was not a member of the church”. There’s only one chance to neglect my wife’s passing; my shadow will never grace that church again.

The United States republic seems enslaved to religion. The civic faction, We the People of the United States, may and can improve by amending the First Amendment to, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or [promoting] the free exercise thereof . . . “.

Re: appreciating Congressional rules while assuring Constitutional law.

      First, thank you for your letter addressing the Charlie Kirk tragedy and loss to this nation.

        In my family, with wife and 3 children, the claim “you don’t comprehend” always produced brick-wall-loss; alienation tragically delays family-collaboration. It disturbs me that both Republicans and Fox News fruitlessly claim Democrats are crazy, because Democrats support violence. I write to suggest your administration charge Republicans and Fox to calmly, plainly address the Democratic Party’s wily audacity: destroy the United States.

      The founders didn’t perceive yet intended the United States republic to discover and practice goodness which inspires good behavior --- “to ourselves and our Posterity” (quoting the preamble to the Constitution). [“Posterity” includes willing immigrants, both by entry and by assimilation.] The framers negotiated that governance by democracy had to be prevented so specified what I call “the American Perception” (1791) --- civic citizens in their states authorize and constrain a republican nation.

      The framers and First Congress considered many European political thinkers. Montesquieu advocated liberty and influenced bloody revolution. John Locke hoped Deism could constrain Christianity. Edmund Burke promoted individual responsibility. American George Washington won American independence and led the United States to responsibility. Anti-American Europeans have never understood Washington’s civic faction, We the People of the United States.

       The civic faction mutually preserves personal opportunity to goodness, while aiding a civil republic. Democracy mistakenly equivocates civic integrity and civil obligation; goodness and obligation; goodwill and violence.

      The European opposition, during the past seven decades combined liberation theology and Marxism, in order to defeat the United States republic using global collectivist-violence. Dear Mr. Vice-President:

When a fellow perceives she or he can help a civic citizen, sharing is the only way to initiate possibility, and therefore, I write to you. The chief point I want to make is that July 4, 2026 need not, ought not overshadow celebrating the 250th anniversary of ratification of the United States republic on December 15, 2041.

At age 82, reading and writing in hopes of resolving church divisions that lessen humankind, I perceive personal lessons worth sharing.

As a deist, Thomas Paine wrote in 1776, “I thank GOD that I fear not.” Paine was using “GOD” to appeal to every civic soldier’s belief, presuming that non-belief, so called atheism, is not influential. I don’t think “GOD” serves humankind’s responsibility to speak with meaning. In the first place, GOD may not want worship, or praise, or to usurp human responsibility. It seems prudent for human beings to reserve humility.

I recently devised and alternative to gods: “whatever constrains the consequences of personal or social choice” to reserve humility respecting power, authority, and responsibility (PAR). I feel informed by Genesis 1:26-28: Phil Beaver may and can pursue goodness in his way of living.

I feel fortunate that my curiosity and perseverance survived 75 years’ search for higher PAR that would lessen chaos in my way of living. I recently discovered and pursue goodness that motivates good behavior and therefore perceive hope if not joy. Neither state nor church can usurp personal opportunity to practice goodness.

My wife of 56 years, Cynthia Ann Marionneaux Beaver, recently died. I hope reincarnation is in my future. I will find her and articulate marrying to-her rather than with-her (Matthew 19:5, NIV and NKJV). Her surname will be mine unto our three children and perhaps theirs.

If I get a second life with Cynthia, I will influence family to goodness rather than to divinity. As husband, I sought to aid Cynthia’s opinions without giving up pursuit of my person. I attended pre-Cana but did not convert. Thus, I did not give up my pursuit of goodness. In their teen years, I asked our 3 children to consider Baptist belief, concerned that in Catholic Mass they innocently self-judged they were “GOD’s people”.

This brings me to the tragedy in Charlie Kirk’s relative youth. I conjecture that he did not comprehend Matthew 19:5. He risked life-commitment to-wife-and-children-unto-descendants, in order to express personal beliefs. GOD responds in actual-reality rather than to beliefs. Too often, the unexpected is brutal. I speculate Charlie is able to view his unattended duty on earth from his seat in heaven. The horror and tears won’t stop. Our sympathy does not help. I don’t know the ineluctable truth.

Belief and non-belief have been at odds during the 200,000 years Homo sapiens have dominated life. The ongoing DEI-vs-Judeo-Christianity-crisis is only the latest.

However, the Trump-Vance administration may and can lead the civic faction of We the People of the United States to establish and maintain pursuit of goodness that inspires good behavior, leaving churches and states opportunity to aid rather than divide humankind.

Perhaps you will use goodness to dominate July 4, 2026. I hope you will set the stage for celebrating ratification-of the United States republic, on December 15, 2041.

Perception: a powerful expression of historical mysteries, e.g. GOD perception

Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on the ineluctable truth. Ineluctable means:  Not to be assailed, avoided, broken, changed, escaped, mystified, neglected, obfuscated, rationalized, resisted, revoked, or voided. Some people erroneously imagine limiting the ineluctable truth, for example, trying to change it.

"Civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for individual happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or society. Civic citizens neither initiate nor accommodate harm to or from anyone. Civic citizens are reliably responsible to the good rather than the bad in connections and transactions.


Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual appreciation:  For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase its proposal as follows: The civic faction, We the People of the United States, proffer & practice 6 public pursuits —- integrity, justice, safety, strength, prosperity, and responsibility, “in order to” pursue goodness “to ourselves and our Posterity”. I want to improve my interpretation by listening-to and considering other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787 text, unless it is amended by the civic-people.

It seems the Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one with status has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by appreciative fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the faction who collaborate for statutory justice, We the People of the United States.

Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren to both born Americans and legal immigrants. Congressional freedom of religion, which fellow citizens have no means to constrain, oppresses freedom to develop integrity. This can be remedied by changing the First Amendment from “prohibiting” to “promoting”.

I think I have found an effective way to express complicated, mysterious history using the noun “perception” with a specific modifier. For example, in my first “News” entry, below, I employ “SUMERIAN PERCEPTION”, from my October 19, 2025 library meeting, which relates to all that was discovered by the apparent inventors of writing, grammar, and the wheel in-work-machines, until Hammurabi conquered them. And today’s news inspired “AMERICAN PERCEPTION” to indicate the history that produced ratification of the then intended United States Constitution, on December 15, 1791, complete with mimic of the English Bill of Rights 1689.

I anticipate many wonderful open applications. For example, CATHOLIC PERCEPTION accommodates changes in Church doctrine, while PROTESTANT PERCEPTION appreciates competing Christian sects and JUDEO-CHRISTIAN PERCEPTION allows MESSIANIC PERCEPTION and ending sacrificial blood once and for all.

Neither churches nor states intend to aid the civic faction.

Civic people in their states may and can vote under state constitutions (democracy, or rule of 50% plus one vote) and for national representation under the United States Constitution (republicanism).

A civic people of the United States elect politicians and judges who defend the republic that is specified by the U.S. Constitution. Civic citizens resist the clergy (who may wait an eternity for statutory justice) from influencing more than personal opinion.

I perceive the civic faction is increasing and neither social democrats nor Judeo-Christians like it.

In the interest of further improvement, you might send me a message as soon as you determine that a problem is interrupting my service. We have spent a lot of time lately, groping for resolution of problems we had -- rebooting, waiting, changing streaming service, changing provider, etc. I realize that reaching a decision to notify me should not be premature. I like the drift of this Falun-Gong associated attitude. But I think it misses the meme that distinguishes the civic faction in the civil debate.

It seems that physics, psychology, and mystery hold humankind (for the recent 200,000 years, Homo sapiens) responsible and accountable for goodness that inspires good behavior.

Sumerian kings, starting about 5500 years ago wrote behavior codes with punishment for badness. Recently, civic citizens legislate statutory justice.

I think most fellow citizens are not aware of and therefore could not articulate the civic faction, yet a few comprehend it and pursue civic integrity as they perceive it.

The United States administration (USa) is transparent regarding tariff reciprocity. The USA, the world’s largest economy, has premier leverage in the marketplace.

To "journalistically" beg proof of what a foundation reported about use of its records casts doubt on the credibility of the writer.

I merely accept the power that constrains the consequences of human choice. Also, a past memorial service to a wonderful neighbor featured the story of my statement, “Atheism is a leap of faith I cannot take”. Yet I remain humble to goodness.

Goodness was present at the beginning of time, perhaps 13.7 billion years ago. Hominids emerged about 7 million years ago and began speculating gods more than 50 thousand years ago. About 12 thousand years ago, humankind was solely Homo sapiens, who invented writing. Only with writing and grammar could Homo sapiens suppress polytheism and construct competitive theisms. Many writers fail hopes by not defining their words.

I think Judeo-Christianity is a 2700 year old dispute over whether or not an anointed king and priest will aid humankind to avoid responsibility perceived by primitive, polytheistic Sumerians, then presented by competitive-monotheist Semitics in Genesis 1:26-28:  Only humankind has the authority and power to order life on earth. But not every human participates. Some individuals employ research to gain personal or group advantage. The civic faction of humankind constrains bad choices: spiritualism, passivism, dissidence, rebellion, crime, wickedness, and evil.

For example, polytheists in differing civilizations speculated that the sun is one of the gods that control life on earth. When research proved that the laws of physics don’t yield to rationalizations, the natural gods lost civil influence. Polytheism gave way to monotheism, which is limited only to human imagination and choice. Consequently, there are 4 thousand to 10 thousand Gods.

The attempt to force character onto whatever constrains the consequences of human choice is itself evil. If it did not suggest singularity and divinity, I would capitalize The Whatever. However, I choose humility that does not brook such arrogance. I have no idea what constrains the consequences of human choice.

Literature and history are good sources to examine consequences of human choice. For example, in Flannery O’Connor’s “A Good Man Is Hard to Find”, a ruthless killer (natural evil) slays a family on vacation. The family chose to risk encounter with the killer. Religious faith (moral evil) empowered annihilation of the family.

This suggests that the choice to depend on higher power to warrant goodness is evil. But what of natural disasters?

When a family receives an evacuation order, for example, due to Category 5 hurricane, they should not choose to leave home without preparation, supplies, route, and destination. However, in wind-swept fire, delay is not an option.

In these 3 examples, human choice is pivotal and natural evil is persistent. It seems prudent to be a continual student of literature and history’s examples of whatever constrains the consequences of human choice. Each lesson may inform when the intention is to discover goodness that motivates good behavior.

The writer reminds me of the time I appealed to a priest that his form of the Lord's supper attempts to divide me from the GOD that constrains the consequences of human choice and my Louisiana-French Catholic family. The priest's response was "I love the Church too much to break its rules for someone with Baptist opinion." I think Churches reserve no humility to GOD.

"The administration’s hostility to loyal opposition is translating into direct assaults on our government."

The phrase "loyal opposition" invokes the British loyalists of 1776. They did not want independence from monarchy, so they did all they could to help the red coats and parliament. When the colonists won, wealthy loyalists returned to England. Loyalists who could not afford the trip did all they could to prevent independence.

To this day, most Europeans do not understand the civic faction, We the People of the United States, which is defined in the preamble-to the Constitution. That minority of Americans pursues statutory justice -- observes the law while aiding amendment when an unjust law is discovered.

I estimate 75 years' pursuing "Lord and Savior". Before I was retired, a quarter century ago, a wonderful peer, who knew my sincerity asked me not to share any more so as to avoid pain. Today, I realize preachers bemused me by sharing a story of goodness, citing Jesus, perhaps mention Holy Spirit, culminate with Christ, then commission me to behave like The Father, God, would. A couple years ago, Yale Divinity School introduced me to Yeshua, and I started reading the Complete Jewish Bible. Yeshua's influence to goodness impressed me more than preacher-confusion ever did. In my view, to appreciate nature more than fellow human beings is tragic. The latest mutation, Homo sapiens, is the ultimate species in the universe so far.

Some of us are beyond lucky in distress.
First, I experienced Cynthia depending on me and me failing. So I went the park to walk and move my weight to strengthen muscles.
Next, I realized that wine lessened my will to help Cynthia, so I stopped; cold turkey.
Then I heard her respond to the diagnosing doctor's question, "Just help me walk again", only to hear him say, "I'm sorry; no one can help. You have PSP, and it is downhill from here." No one knew how fast it would happen.
Rebekah and Holly and Mint fired me with doctor concurrence, because I have balance problems.
I was never a soap-opera-fan, but Cynthia was. I saw "The Young and the Restless" as a means of being with our daughters in the shared struggle to keep Cynthia cheerful, as rapid decline worked its darkness.
Now, watching episodes with our daughters, I look at Cynthia's picture when I think she would have a typical comment -- to Phyllis or Victor, "Don't you dare!" Or to Jack or Lily, "That's right!"
I was in my second heaven when Cynthia watched with us; now I'm in the third, thanks to family.

Tennessee's 1966 chemical engineering department inculcated this commission: UT is authorizing Phil Beaver to practice chemical engineering (ChE) under the obligation that no equipment you help design can blow up, risking people's wellness and property.
I discovered a company, Ethyl Corporation, in Baton Rouge, whom I perceived would accommodate my Tennessee commitment. It took me 5 years to accept that Ethyl perceived me a ChE rather than student. Along the way, a couple bosses wanted to fire me over stubbornness for safety, but the directors kept me on for 35 years, ending as R&D advisor. On a couple occasions I felt I needed more knowledge and discovered how great LSU's chemical engineering department is, along with English and also Journalism.
At age 82, I realize that the "can't blow up" policy influenced my civic life. Today I feel I have arrived at humankind's unarticulated, resilient pursuit: goodness that motivates good behavior. Adults may and can do everything possible to aid children in their natural desire for good behavior.

I think the problem is European frustration with American responsible-independence.
By 1763, inhabitants of English colonies accepted that escaping Europe, in order to escape continual warring by petulant kings, was not working, because England was enslaving them. -- not only directly, but as caretakers for African slaves England trafficked here.
The literature is naturally controversial, because the elites on each side compete through the year 2025.
The Europeans have never understood that the civic faction, We the People of the United States, do not expect God, church, or state to provide them "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" quoting the Declaration of Independence from England.
Even the above quote reflects rejection of Englishman John Locke's 1690 divine claim to "property". Thomas Jefferson's committee, declaring war against King George's regard for colonial inhabitants' status as "property" changed to "happiness".
Victorious in the war, each of the 13 former colonies was named a free and independent state. The civic faction tried to exist that way for 4 years, then chose, in summer 1787, to unite as a nation. Civic people in their states "ordained and established" a Constitutional republic to serve them and their states. The Constitution has many features to accommodate majority vote in the state but prevent national democracy, in order to preserve the pursuit of statutory justice.
Justice has been Homo sapiens' pursuit ever since the invention of writing and grammar, which allows responsible debate -- in the west, about 5500 years ago in Sumer, a cultural isolate within the "melting pot" of global traders passing through ancient Iraq. About 3900 years ago, Semitic-speaking scribes colloquially expressed the Sumerian political philosophy in Genesis 1:26-28. It plainly states, in modern interpretation, that on earth, female and male Homo sapiens are solely responsible to order life. Order requires goodness.
The elites in all nations seem to prefer power to goodness. Many nations rely on force to constrain people -- police for inhabitants and the military for aliens. Power is easy when government partners with religion, whether colloquial or global.
I know of only one nation, the United States of America, which proffers authority, power, and responsibility to the civic faction (suggested in Genesis 1:26-28). The reality that only Homo sapiens may and can provide peace on earth is obvious to a civic people everywhere.
Inhabitants who cannot or will not consider this message await someone else to take responsibility for chaos in their lifetime. Show me the bureaucrat, organizer, or church who wants to take care of subjects lives.
I write opinion, because I do not know the ineluctable truth and to learn considered opinion from fellow citizens on earth.

I learned long ago that I do not want to change a person's destiny: I want to share experiences and observations so that fellow citizens can consider them and choose to reject them, managing his or her person.
In your list of 6 thoughts, I want to share about only the last one, Number 6.
Some people get the impression that I am atheist (a word coined by theists and thus of no importance to a non-theist) but then are surprised to learn I support a Baptist church and am an avid student of the complete Bible (my thoughts mutually annoying to beliefs by my Sunday-school-class-members). I prefer https://www.chabad.org/torah-texts/ for Old Testament and https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%201&version=CJB , for example, for New Testament.
Through my literature choices, Sumerian law codes (starting 5500 years ago, ya), OT (3900 to 2200 ya), and NT (1960 to 1600 ya), I get a continuum of Western thought until the Bible was canonized in 405 CE. (I apply the little I know about discovery since then; for example, humankind routinely explores the former “heavens”.) The Sumerians used a unique language (isolate) in a global trade-center subject to many language-families from all directions. The Semitic languages branched into Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabian, and others. Language and grammar walk with culture.
I have my view of your Item 6, and think controversy arises from the chosen object of faith: doctrine or goodness. I choose goodness.
Semitic-speaking peoples lived with and observed Sumerians, who were city-dwellers rather than nomads. A Semitic branch left Sumer to avoid human sacrifice. Terah had FAITH that human sacrifice was evil and his tribe would find land to sustain them. He continued animal and fowl sacrifice. When Terah died, Abraham took over. Abraham's grandson, Jacob, with 4 wives, sired the 12 tribes of Israel, and they maintained Templar blood sacrifice. A few could not resist human sacrifice when mystery imposed fear. When Rome destroyed the second temple in Jerusalem, in 70 CE, there was no place to conduct blood sacrifice, so Israel suspended the practice, focusing on goodness for now. (I think that is wonderful.)
In this brief introduction, we observe humankind's struggle to discover goodness that suppresses evil. Humankind does the research to discover both physical and psychological goodness, in order to know good behavior and choose it. Humankind has FAITH that goodness is attainable if not perfectible.
Before goodness, doctrine retreats. I think your family masters goodness, and mutual, plain discussion helps you accept family excellence, articulate it, and share with fellow citizens who have FAITH in goodness but are bemused by church and state. You constantly review, in order to pursue goodness.
In the human consideration of goodness that motivates good behavior, I think there is no place for fear, which empowers both state and church.

Prompted by a “like” to my comment on friend Emily Toth’s 4:10 AM on Oct 20 post and recent trends, I had this creative thought:
 

JUDGES who are arrogant toward both the Sumerian Perception (5500 years ago: on earth humankind is solely responsible for goodness) and the amended United States Constitution (December 15, 1791 plus an additional 17 majority decisions) are DEVIATING so far from the ineluctable truth that American-English is no longer reliable.

In modern paraphrase, under the laws of physics, Genesis 1:26-28 parochially expresses the Sumerian Perception: an authentic man may and can aid a serenely confident woman to flourish on earth in goodness to life and posterity. Their unity is ineluctably reliable to their offspring and descendants.

By endorsing arbitrary “unity” that arrogates the laws of physics, judges made “marriage” meaningless. Arrogant judges spawn arrogant lawyers. With arrogant judges and lawyers, the public cannot communicate in court appearance. For example, if confronted with the question, “Is this your family?” either plaintiff or defendant may prudently respond, “That depends on what the definition of family is.”

In another instance, the Supreme Court unconstitutionally opined in a 6:3 “decision” that criminal juries must vote 12:0 to opine about competing lawyers’ judicial-performances without regard to Amendment VI’s requirement: “an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed”. The key is impartial rather than unanimous.

The rogue, majority judges in Ramos vs Louisiana ignored their own reality that justice usually requires non-unanimous votes, primarily because democracy does not respect the United-States-republican rule-of-law. For this reason, the Supreme Court often votes 5:4, allowing the four to dissent, so that their opinion can be carried forward to future discovery of injustice. It is ludicrous that judges who care not for the ineluctable truth used 6:3 majority to impose 12:0 unanimity on the public.

I seek a constitutional lawyer who will help me contest and reverse Ramos v LA, leaving it to the wonderful people in Louisiana to enact a new referendum to restore 9:3 jury decisions in criminal cases trials.

Here's an example of policy-focus that can help fellow citizens defeat TDS:
The United States administration (USa) is transparent regarding tariff reciprocity. The USA, the world's largest economy, has premier leverage in the marketplace.
Global-trade is essential to the market, and consumer-appreciation is essential to producer-survival. Past USa's did not recognize this vital point and were passive as the rest of the world took advantage of the USA.
The present USa further recognizes that the key to success is the civic faction, We the People of the United States, as defined in the preamble to the US Constitution, in my paraphrase: We civic-citizens pursue six moral intentions "to ourselves and our Posterity".
Few citizens articulate the intentions expressed by the amendable Constitution's republican-protection from democracy. However, goodness-that-motivates-good-behavior is in the American civic-meme.
The civic faction uses the rule of law to encourage good behavior, constrain crime, oppress wickedness, and eliminate evil. Civic citizens aid DISCOVERY of unjust law and AMENDMENT to statutory justice. Thereby, the accused, indicted, tried, and convicted suffer whatever penalty the law specified.
Attacking the police or military invites immediate application of the specified penalty. The civic faction aids the USa in competition with other governments.
Fortunately, the present USa promotes goodness in the best way: practice. The Democrat Party, Canada, and other nations may and can catch a departing train.

A comment, yesterday by my friend Joel, prompted an idea.
Anticipating thanksgiving gatherings, prepare to respond to political thought with policy-focus. Present policy rather than persons.
Fellow citizens may and can share preferences for policies rather than personalities. Some fellow citizens may prefer, for example, equity and climate change instead of domestic security and physical viability.
Despite a tradition of unity, humankind is divided: civic among all of civil, spiritual, dissident, rebel, criminal, and evil. The civic citizen responsibly earns the way of living he or she wants and mutually accommodates statutory justice. Other fellow citizens divide themselves on some form of dependency.
If conversations go well, tradition might regard physics and its progeny, including psychology: The heartlessness of Marxism awokened humankind to authority, power, and responsibility to provide goodness to its children and youth rather than rely on faith in higher power.

When an authentic man meets a woman, he takes no special interest if there is no mutual attraction to cause conversation. Cynthia's serene confidence was ineluctable, and I was glad when she accepted a date with me.
Without counselling, I courted her. When she accepted I was courting her, she said, "If anyone marries me, it will be in my Church by my priest." I faced a decision for which I was uninformed. Consequently, I attended pre cana with her and committed to raise the children Catholic.
My perception that power higher than Church or state had originated my-being means I cannot impose Church or state. I don't know how Mom and Dad's power compares with Church or state but am grateful to be a person.
Mom and Dad's community of baptized believers had inculcated Matthew 19:6, without emphasis on the previous verse, NineteenFive. Now, after 56 years' marriage and Cynthia's passing, with counselling from my sister-in-law, I appreciate Matthew 19:5 as advice to move loyalty from parents to wife, which I did. However, I could not and did not deny personal power that is higher than Church, state, and parents.
After Cynthia's passing, I realize my life with her was a dream and our daughters are each a great woman. I am dedicated to keeping that dream alive.
In the essay Emily posted, I perceive 2 problems. First, the writer starts by generalizing a particular attitude by only one side of a relationship. Neither Cynthia nor I realized the importance of me being true to my person, regardless of Church, state, or Mom and Dad. Trust me: If Cynthia had realized my need, she would have articulated it instead of merely accommodating it. Second, the writer does not accept the obvious evidence from physics: An authentic man unites to aid his wife for life, unto grandchildren and descendants.
"The truth will set you free" is an idea that can be changed by merely changing the topic. A more useful endeavor is to pursue the ineluctable truth, where "ineluctable" means, together, not to be avoided, changed, or resisted. Cynthia was and is ineluctable.
There are many ineluctable women and each one may and can be fulfilled by an authentic man, if the woman so chooses. And there are many authentic men, seeking to aid a woman for life. I think I am doing that.

I think you all are just enjoying the weather and amusements -- like going to Mardi Gras.

I'm one of the 14 million voters in 2016 primaries who made it possible for Trump to run for President.

The fake "no kings" crowd teamed up and did all they could to ruin his 4 years, and we took notes. All the while, my dear sister (and friend) and I laughed heartily at the fakers' frustrations. She ended memorable conversation with "It's going great, but I still wish Trump would keep his personal mouth shut. He lessens his impact when he throws barbs." Dona and I just did not realize how evil the Democrat Party is.

Thankfully, the 2024 Trump team motivated more voters and Trump proved that Dona's concerns and mine just did not benefit from his perspective. I wrote to Trump saying that when he uses slang he lessens his impact. I guess I'm just stubborn about my opinions.

We have the privilege to accept a 5500 year-old geo-political abyss. DEI or wokeism, evil as it is, alerted us that tradition ate our brains (borrowing from Jeffrey A. Tucker, Epoch Times) and drove us to chaos. Both sides -- competitive religion or tradition and DEI have the opportunity to choose to collaborate for goodness that motivates good behavior.

If most people choose to pursue goodness whether they are religious or not, evil may be suppressed and annihilated; our Posterity can write about the rise from the abyss. If violence prevails, such as for criminals and against ICE, the worst days lie ahead.

If you all are serious "king fakers", you're still my friends, and I want to know what's in it to vote for Kamala or other Obama surrogate.

Influencing social democracy against the United-States-republicanism exposes the bane of religion/ideology: faith in mystery invites oppression. The civic faction of Homo sapiens retains sufficient humility toward the power that constrains the consequences of choice to act. Perhaps the power is the laws of physics, or goodness, or the ultimate goodness Homo sapiens pursues, or something to be discovered; it need not suffer a contrived title.
Every Homo sapiens is born with the opportunity to learn/discover goodness that motivates good behavior. Fate's impact on inculcation, observation, experience, and acceptance by individuals in their groups produces an array of lifestyles: civic, civil, passive, dissident/resistant, rebellious, criminal, wicked, and evil. Civic citizens practice, encourage, and promote goodness and justice.
In the United States, the civic faction pursues statutory justice, amending the Constitution when unjust law is discovered. The Constitutional republic protects the people from democracy.
Civic citizens accept the 5500 year-old Sumerian Perception, in this generation's terms: female and male Homo sapiens is solely authorized, empowered, and responsible to pursue goodness on earth. Ideologies like the 3900 year-old Judeo-Christian religion attempt to avoid responsibility through faith in a mystery: images presumed to license freedom to competitive believers. No entity on earth can warrant freedom.
The attempt to resist the Sumerian Perception is recorded in Genesis 1:26-28, a transition from polytheistic mythology to competitive monotheism.
Many theists try to saddle civic citizens with the reproof "atheist", in order to resist the power that constrains the consequence of human choice. Civic citizens, religious or not, place their faith in ineluctable evidence rather than doctrine or opinion. They pursue mutual opportunity among Homo sapiens rather than favor to cultural believers.
The United States republic accommodates "In God We Trust" as long as civic citizens remain humble to whatever constrains the consequences of human choice to act.
I hope my opinion influences goodness that motivates good behavior starting with the coming season of goodwill.

On this ineluctable day, I feel motivated by forces I cannot imagine:

Today is the anniversary of Stephen’s birthday, the first after both he (1991) and Cynthia (May 2025) died. Masses for them are planned at Brusly and at St. Jude. Rebekah notified family and friends.

A couple days ago, she suggested that I use Facebook to invite people to the beginning of a library-workshop, “Discovering Goodness that Motivates Good Behavior”. I did. Two friends liked the post. Thank you and Rebekah.

Back to family, Jeff Totty visited to grieve in July 1991, while we were designing Stephen’s grave marker. Jeff suggested the caption “Awesome Goodness”. It’s there. “Pure goodness” will grace Cynthia’s marker.

The attached photo of step-cousins, Brandon, Stephen, and Brian, is mystic. Brian’s story about eternal, coaching-impact is moving. “Thank you, Brian”, seems insufficient, as you may see, below. Tomorrow, I will think of Brian and Stephen, the elder, as I speak then listen to discuss “Goodness that motivates good behavior”.

This morning’s experiences make me wonder: Did Abraham need to appreciate Hagar’s and Sarah’s offspring – Ishmael, the elder, and Isaac, in order for the Middle East to achieve peace 3700 years ago?

Chaos in 2025 begs our generation to consider modern humankind. Youth are born to pursue goodness and adults may and can choose good behavior, in order to aid children. Not one surviving competitive-construct --- Judeo-Christianity, DEI, Marxism, Liberation Theology, tradition, nor any of 10,000 religions and ideologies on earth -- stands time's test of goodness.

Prior generations left us the opportunity to improve Homo sapiens, the species that may and can order life on earth and its extensions. Each person may and can choose good behavior. Thank you, Stephen.

As a widower after 56 years marriage with one woman, my better-half seems to think "necessary" weakens this post, motivating me to revise to, "most children acquire: trust, commitment, good behavior, and the hope for goodness".

Dear Mr. President:

On Monday, I suggested that some people interpret your personal goodness as intentions by God, preserving debate about the source of evil.

I think we Homo sapiens cannot assign to God the responsibility for consequences of human choices. Evil people launch bullets to lessen goodness, sometimes failing. Both physics-with-progeny and civic integrity guide humankind in discovering goodness.

Charlie Kirk’s Medal of Freedom rightfully features a Christian cross, his chosen inspiration. But I think freedom and Christianity publically-confound the American-goodness that constrains badness.

The idea that religion constrains the consequences of human choice between goodness and badness comfortably waits an eternity for proof. Meanwhile, Christianity exponentially increases internal division, with 1200 sects among America’s 340 million people and 45,000 sects within earth’s 8 billion population. Moreover, Christianity is only one of 4,000 to 10,000 sectarian-religions in the world. Yet Christian individuals may and can choose humility, goodness, and collaboration-with civic-citizens.

Violent Christians are as evil as any civil violators. To domestically limit religious violence, the civic faction in the United States can amend the religious-practice clause in the First Amendment. I suggest, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or [promoting] the free exercise thereof.” Also, Congress may and can define “religion”. I suggest, “Choosing to act on opinion, without evidence of goodness and justice” (e.g., self-defense).

The civic faction, We the People of the United States, intends republicanism (statutory justice) “to ourselves and our Posterity”. Founders formulated civic intentions after winning independence from the English monarchy; tried to function as states from 1784 to 1788; and, observing history’s harms from democracy, created the American republic. Meanwhile, war-ally France suffered bloody-revolution for freedom from feudalism.

On or before July 4, 2026, it would be good for your administration to clarify the civic faction’s responsibility for independence rather than hope for civil license. France’s gift in New York Harbor could and should be renamed, “The Statue of Independent Responsibility”, or better.

During recent months, evil people launched bullets toward people’s heads, with differing physical and psychological consequences. When the person dies, factions may debate: the death is good or God is evil. In no way do I think that victims, Charlie Kirk or Corey Comperatore, no longer serving wife, children, and fellow citizens is goodness. But God does not choose victims. Your survival of at least 2 attacks is goodness and I pray you retire to enjoy family, friends, and a civic people in completing your lifetime.

I hope that before July 4, 2026, you will use these opinions as you perceive them. First, I hope and pray readers grant you the opportunity to read the ideas.

Dear Mr. President:

Yesterday in Israel, when you said, I recall, “. . . age of faith, hope, and God”, I hoped every civic citizen in the world judiciously embraced your personal goodness. You motivate civic people to discover and practice good behavior. But not every civic person humbly pursues justice: some impose their religion or none.

In my 82nd year, because I do not know the ineluctable truth, I perceive that it is sufficient to accept the mysterious power that constrains the consequences of human choice. Before, I struggled to impose the image of Homo sapiens onto the mystery.

Perhaps the mysterious power is discovery and appreciation of the laws of physics and its progeny, such as mathematics, economics, and psychology. Maybe the power is the psychological goodness humankind will achieve in the distant future. The power seems a mystery. But goodness seems the authority and responsibility that guides humankind to justice against evil.

People who find hope and comfort in divinity may and can humbly choose good behavior and justice. I think this is why the intentions of the civic faction, We the People of the United States, stated in the preamble, does not include religion. There, “Blessings” means “advantage”.

Glimpsing 5500 years’ history on earth, it seems that you, Mr. President, have unique opportunity to promote goodness which motivates good behavior. If done your way, history may become grateful beyond what the civic faction could imagine on October 13, 2025.

Dear Mr. President:

     Please preserve your role as husband to Mrs. Trump and father to your family, taking every precaution yet without fear.

     I hope yesterday’s heartfelt message is impactful: this widower, as of May 17, 2025, feels he is in heaven, because he maintains the dream he enjoyed during 56 years’ marriage. Only when my body, mind, and person stop functioning will our marriage end. I perceive our daughters are rewarded and comforted to experience my appreciation.

     I am in no position to assess Charlie Kirk’s heaven. However, evil people ended his marriage and fatherhood. I dare to hope and dream that his awareness -- of his permanent absence -- also ended.

     I hope you secure opportunity to mimic Harry Truman, who was delighted to return to being a private citizen and live among his family and neighbors.

Dear Mr. President:

 

      I saw you on TV express good-natured hopes to experience heaven. I would not lessen your hopes but perceive you influence if not effect heaven now.

      Maybe my wonderful wife, who died on May 17 this year, is aware that life with her – our heaven – continues in my mind, heart, and actions. Perhaps only her accomplishments survive termination of her body, brain, and activity. Only my passing will terminate her influence on me.

      Never wrong, church shares not that Genesis 1:26-28 expresses a 5500 year-old Sumerian political-philosophy: only female and male Homo sapiens may and can pursue peace on earth. The Genesis-1 “in the image of the god” (lower case to represent Sumerian humility) is affirmed in Psalm 82: those who free the humble from the wicked are goddesses and gods facing death. I envision my marriage and yours.

       Using those two Bible references, the world may and can accept the power, authority, and responsibility to aid children in their desire for goodness. But competitive church -- religion -- will not lead nations there.

      Most citizens civically collaborate without articulating that We the People of the United States pursues goodness “to ourselves and our Posterity”. With children, “Posterity” includes legal immigrants. Civic citizens do all they can to aid civil behavior. The civic faction in the United States, in the image of the god, favors your presidency. The god’s favor is thereby indicated.

      You are influencing the world to pursue peace as historically as Cyrus the Great and Marcus Aurelius. The world’s civic people, having the image of the god, favors you – again seeming to reflect the god’s favor.

      I think only a civic people, gods facing death, may and can provide order on earth.

      Best wishes for your historic, creative actions for peace.
