seeks to collaborate on the ineluctable truth. Ineluctable means: Not to be assailed, avoided, broken, changed,
escaped, mystified, neglected, obfuscated, rationalized, resisted, revoked, or
voided. Some people erroneously imagine limiting the ineluctable truth, for
example, trying to change it.
"Civic"
refers to citizens who collaborate for individual
happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or
society. Civic citizens neither initiate nor accommodate harm to or from
anyone. Civic citizens are reliably responsible to the good rather than the bad
in connections and transactions.
Consider
writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens
mutual appreciation: For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and
paraphrase its proposal as follows: The civic faction, We the People of the United States,
proffer & practice 6 public pursuits —- integrity, justice, safety,
strength, prosperity, and responsibility, “in order to” pursue goodness “to
ourselves and our Posterity”. I want to improve
my interpretation by listening-to and considering other citizens and their
interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787 text, unless it is
amended by the civic-people.
It seems the
Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one with status has challenged
whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this
independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states
deliberately managed by appreciative fellow citizens convinces me the preamble
is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the faction who
collaborate for statutory justice, We the People of the United States.
Every citizen
has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in
the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try
somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the
goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies
grandchildren to both born Americans and legal immigrants. Congressional
freedom of religion, which fellow citizens have no means to constrain,
oppresses freedom to develop integrity. This can be remedied by changing the
First Amendment from “prohibiting” to “promoting”.
Selected theme from this month
Perception
I think I have found an effective way to express complicated,
mysterious history using the noun “perception” with a specific modifier. For
example, in my first “News” entry, below, I employ “SUMERIAN PERCEPTION”, from
my October 19, 2025 library meeting, which relates to all that was discovered
by the apparent inventors of writing, grammar, and the wheel in-work-machines,
until Hammurabi conquered them. And today’s news inspired “AMERICAN PERCEPTION”
to indicate the history that produced ratification of the then intended United
States Constitution, on December 15, 1791, complete with mimic of the English
Bill of Rights 1689.
I anticipate many wonderful open applications. For example, CATHOLIC PERCEPTION
accommodates changes in Church doctrine, while PROTESTANT PERCEPTION appreciates
competing Christian sects and JUDEO-CHRISTIAN PERCEPTION allows MESSIANIC PERCEPTION
and ending sacrificial blood once and for all.

The DEI movement egregiously clarified that
Judeo-Christianity is the dominant "wokeism" in this country,
competing with other ideologies in the world, like Buddhism. There are 4,000 to
10,000 Gods, none of which communicate with The God.
It is indeed an existential crisis. The civic faction, We
the People of the United States as defined by the preamble, may and can improve
chances by pursuing discovery and practice of the goodness that motivates good
behavior "to ourselves and our Posterity".
Neither churches nor states intend to aid the civic faction.
The civic faction is informed by the Sumerian Perception
parochially expressed in Genesis 1:26-28: female and male Homo sapiens is in
charge of goodness on earth. The Sumerian Perception is affirmed by the laws of
physics and accommodated by the intentions of the United States Constitution,
ratified in the American Perception on December 15, 1791.
Civic people in their states may and can vote under state
constitutions (democracy, or rule of 50% plus one vote) and for national
representation under the United States Constitution (republicanism).
A civic people of the United States elect politicians and
judges who defend the republic that is specified by the U.S. Constitution.
Civic citizens resist the clergy (who may wait an eternity for statutory
justice) from influencing more than personal opinion.
I perceive the civic faction is increasing and neither
social democrats nor Judeo-Christians like it.

Thank
you, for considering the customer, and I look forward to the refund. In the
interest of further improvement, you might send me a message as soon as you
determine that a problem is interrupting my service. We have spent a lot of
time lately, groping for resolution of problems we had -- rebooting,

Motto: Discover and practice goodness that inspires good behavior.

I like the drift of this Falun-Gong associated attitude. But
I think it misses the meme that distinguishes the civic faction in the civil
debate.
It seems that physics, psychology, and mystery hold
humankind (for the recent 200,000 years, Homo sapiens) responsible and
accountable for goodness that inspires good behavior.
Sumerian kings, starting about 5500 years ago wrote behavior
codes with punishment for badness. Recently, civic citizens legislate statutory
justice.
I think most fellow citizens are not aware of and therefore
could not articulate the civic faction, yet a few comprehend it and pursue
civic integrity as they perceive it.
Our civic faction, We the People of the United States, is
defined by the intentions stated in the preamble to the United States
Constitution: integrity,
justice, safety, strength, prosperity, and responsibility “in order to” pursue
goodness “to ourselves and our Posterity”.
If personal religion is not discovering the goodness that
motivates good behavior, it should be considered and perhaps improved.
The United States administration (USa) is transparent
regarding tariff reciprocity. The USA, the world’s largest economy, has premier
leverage in the marketplace.
Global-trade is essential to the market, and
consumer-appreciation is essential to producer-survival. Past USa’s did not
recognize this vital point and were passive as the rest of the world took
advantage of the USA.
The present USa further recognizes that the key to success
is the civic faction, We the People of the United States, as defined in the
preamble to the US Constitution, in my paraphrase:We civic-citizens pursue six
moral intentions “to ourselves and our Posterity”.
Few citizens articulate the intentions expressed by the
amendable Constitution’s republican-protection from democracy. However,
goodness-that-motivates-good-behavior is in the American civic-meme.
The civic faction uses the rule of law to encourage good
behavior, constrain crime, oppress wickedness, and eliminate evil. Civic
citizens aid DISCOVERY of unjust law and AMENDMENT to statutory justice.
Thereby, the accused, indicted, tried, and convicted suffer whatever penalty the
law specified.
Attacking the police or military invites immediate
application of the specified penalty. The civic faction aids the USa in
competition with other governments.
Fortunately, the present USa promotes goodness in the best
way: performance. The Democrat Party, Canada, and other peoples may and can
catch a departing train.

Also: “The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and

campaign using selective audio and video of President Ronald Reagan delivering
his ‘Radio Address to the Nation on Free and Fair Trade,’ dated April 25,

To "journalistically" beg proof of what a

the writer.
That being said, if the foundation's report is accurate and
precise, the Ontario government and its central authority, Canada, are rogue neighbors

I have no desire to either visit Canada or converse with

"In a free society, the individual rights of all people
are protected under the rule of law, and individuals can fight for their
inherent, God-given rights. "
Milford, favoring social democracy rather than
United-States-republicanism, exposes the bane of religion/ideology: faith in
mystery invites oppression.
Every Homo sapiens is born with the opportunity to
learn/discover goodness that motivates good behavior. Fate's impact on
inculcation, observation, experience, and acceptance by individuals in their
groups produces an array of lifestyles: civic, civil, passive, resistant,
rebellious, criminal, wicked, and evil. Civic citizens practice, encourage, and
promote goodness.
Civic citizens accept the 5500 year-old Sumerian Perception,
in this generation's terms: female and male Homo sapiens is solely authorized,
empowered, and responsible to pursue goodness on earth . The 3900 year-old
Judeo-Christian religion attempts to avoid responsibility through faith in a
mystery: images presumed to license freedom to competitive believers.
Theists try to saddle civic citizens with the reproof
"atheist", in order to resist the power that constrains the consequence
of human choice. Civic citizens, religious or not, place their faith in
ineluctable evidence rather than doctrine.
The United States republic is OK with "In God We
Trust" as long as civic citizens remain humble to whatever constrains the
consequences of human choice.

Oct 24 to M. Patrick McCrary:
Thank you for your interest.
I merely accept the power that constrains the consequences
of human choice. Also, a past memorial service to a wonderful neighbor featured
the story of my statement, “Atheism is a leap of faith I cannot take”. Yet I
remain humble to goodness.
Goodness was present at the beginning of time, perhaps 13.7
billion years ago. Hominids emerged about 7 million years ago and began
speculating gods more than 50 thousand years ago. About 12 thousand years ago,
humankind was solely Homo sapiens, who invented writing. Only with writing and
grammar could Homo sapiens suppress polytheism and construct competitive
theisms. Today, there are between 4 thousand and 10 thousand deities. There are
45 thousand Christian sects.
I read a review of the book you recommended than got
distracted with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norman_Geisler . I guess Geisler
aided Christian diversity.
I am a student of the political philosopher, Yeshua of
Nazareth, 2000 years ago, and think he influenced goodness. Consider, for
example, Matthew 19:16-22, wherein the young man has faith in riches. When he
calls Yeshua “good”, Yeshua advises him to aid the poor. But faith is more
precious to him than Yeshua’s goodness. Too often, Christian faith prevents the
pursuit of goodness.
Fellow citizens may and can pursue the ineluctable truth
about the goodness that motivates good behavior. In such a society, “atheism”
has no purpose.

“AI could be catastrophic for freedom, democracy, and
civilization.”
Jeffrey Tucker disappoints, not addressing propaganda
against the United States republic.
The civic faction in America’s founding states, observing
democracies’ chaos, established a republic; national elections prevent
democracy. Citizens manage their state and nationally elect both personal-proportional
and state-equal representatives. National representatives serve administrative,
legislative, and judicial branches with varying durations, some appointed.
Colonial Americans declared war for freedom from the English
monarchy, won independence, then tried for 4 years to remain 13 free and
independent states. States were too competitive to serve citizens, so the civic
faction authorized framers to specify government that would serve each
individual in their state.
National intentions are stated in the amendable preamble,
citing integrity, justice, safety, strength, prosperity, and responsibility,
“to ourselves and our Posterity”. Inhabitants who accept and practice United
States intentions are the civic faction. They warrant neither freedom to bad
actors nor civilization to dissidents. They maintain strength to prevent
foreign or domestic aggression.
I think Jeffrey-omissions are due to tradition, particularly
the belief that Judeo-Christianity is emissary to power higher than a civic
people.
I ask fellow citizens, “Can the evil of DEI save our brains
from tradition?”
#USpreambler, #acivicpeople
https://www.theepochtimes.com/opinion/the-4-horsemen-of-the-western-apocalypse-5914257
Many writers fail hopes by not defining their words.
I think Judeo-Christianity is a 2700 year old dispute over
whether or not an anointed king and priest will aid humankind to avoid
responsibility perceived by primitive, polytheistic Sumerians, then presented
by competitive-monotheist Semitics in Genesis 1:26-28: Only humankind has the authority and power to
order life on earth. I call it the Sumerian Perception.
Christians construct surrogates for the person believed to
be born to Miryam and Yosef, Nazarenes of 2000 years ago. I think his name was
Yeshua and Messiah, Jesus, and Christ are not Yeshua. Yeshua is denied by Jews
who await a Messiah. It seems "Messianic Jews" are Christians.
DEI overlooks application of the Sumerian Perception to the
individual. Each person has the authority, power, and responsibility to
constrain chaos in the way she or he lives.
If Judeo-Christianity responds to the nudge DEI provides,
there may be widespread improvement FROM dependency on the higher power each
believer constructs TO pursuit of goodness which motivates good behavior.
This global improvement is most achievable in the United
States, a constitutional republic that accommodates the primitive Sumerian
quest for statutory justice. The negotiated constitution, which was ratified on
December 15, 1791, states the civic faction's intentions "to ourselves and
our Posterity" and provides means for We the People to amend the law when
injustice is discovered.

Quora
https://www.quora.com/How-do-you-determine-the-difference-between-moral-and-natural-evil? Graham C Lindsay
Humankind conducts research respecting the laws of physics and
progeny, such as psychology. They pursue use of the laws to aid mutual survival
if not flourishing on earth. Civic citizens neither cause nor accommodate harm.
They pursue goodness that motivates good behavior.
But not every human participates. Some individuals employ
research to gain personal or group advantage. The civic faction of humankind
constrains bad choices: spiritualism, passivism, dissidence, rebellion, crime,
wickedness, and evil.
For example, polytheists in differing civilizations speculated
that the sun is one of the gods that control life on earth. When research
proved that the laws of physics don’t yield to rationalizations, the natural
gods lost civil influence. Polytheism gave way to monotheism, which is limited
only to human imagination and choice. Consequently, there are 4 thousand to 10
thousand Gods.
The attempt to force character onto whatever constrains the consequences of
human choice is itself evil. If it did not suggest singularity and divinity, I
would capitalize The Whatever. However, I choose humility that does not brook
such arrogance. I have no idea what constrains the consequences of human
choice.
Literature and history are good sources to examine consequences of human
choice. For example, in Flannery O’Connor’s “A Good Man Is Hard to Find”, a
ruthless killer (natural evil) slays a family on vacation. The family chose to
risk encounter with the killer. Religious faith (moral evil) empowered annihilation
of the family.
This suggests that the choice to depend on higher power to
warrant goodness is evil. But what of natural disasters?
When a family receives an evacuation order, for example, due to
Category 5 hurricane, they should not choose to leave home without preparation,
supplies, route, and destination. However, in wind-swept fire, delay is not an
option.
In these 3 examples, human choice is pivotal and natural evil is persistent. It
seems prudent to be a continual student of literature and history’s examples of
whatever constrains the consequences of human choice. Each lesson may inform
when the intention is to discover goodness that motivates good behavior.

". . . two federal judges found that the Trump

The writer reminds me of the time I appealed to a priest
that his form of the Lord's supper attempts to divide me from the GOD that

"The administration’s hostility to loyal opposition is
translating into direct assaults on our government."
The phrase "loyal opposition" invokes the British
loyalists of 1776. They did not want independence from monarchy, so they did
all they could to help the red coats and parliament. When the colonists won,
wealthy loyalists returned to England. Loyalists who could not afford the trip
did all they could to prevent independence.
To this day, most Europeans do not understand the civic
faction, We the People of the United States, which is defined in the
preamble-to the Constitution. That minority of Americans pursues statutory
justice -- observes the law while aiding amendment when an unjust law is
discovered.
It's a slow process. Since ratification of the negotiated
Constitution on December 15, 1791, there have been 17 amendments. The United
States republic has always withstood the loyal opposition.

President Trump administers the United States republic,
under the US Constitution. The Constitution specifically prevents national
democracy.
The Constitution provides for amendment by the civic
faction, We the People of the United States, defined by the preamble to the
Constitution.
When injustice is discovered, the law is upheld while
improvement is considered, proposed, and litigated. Thereby, the civic faction
maintains the republic and pursues statutory justice "to ourselves and our
Posterity". Posterity includes legal immigrants.
The Trump administration defends fellow citizens'
opportunity to vote, under one citizen one vote adjudication.
Venezuela is also a republic, but national laws
insufficiently empower the legislative and judicial branches, allowing an
authoritarian president. The people of Venezuela may and can amend their
republic toward more balanced powers.
In no instance in history has democracy proved more reliable
than a constitutional republic for justice to the people. The United States
republic is a consequence of 13 American colonies winning individual
independence from England, ratifying the treaty on January 15, 1784, then
discovering they needed to unite as a nation.
The United States republic began operation with 11 states on
March 4, 1789. The proposed Constitution was ratified under 14 states on
December 15, 1791. During the subsequent 234 years, the civic faction, now
living in 50 states, amended the Constitution 17 times, preserving the balance
of powers, in order to prevent democracy.

I estimate 75 years' pursuing "Lord and Savior".
Before I was retired, a quarter century ago, a wonderful peer, who knew my
sincerity asked me not to share any more so as to avoid pain. Today, I realize
preachers bemused me by sharing a story of goodness, citing Jesus, perhaps
mention Holy Spirit, culminate with Christ, then commission me to behave like
The Father, God, would. A couple years ago, Yale Divinity School introduced me

I want Congress to legislate protection of this wonderful
couple as a unit, according to Matthew 19:6.
Not that Matthew wrote the god's word, or that Yeshua corrected it, but because
the ancients got it right when they said a married couple becomes one for life.
No agent, no judge, no nation may or can divide a couple. Let future records
and laws so speak.
A couple years ago, the Sunday school class I attend discussed some videos
produced by Yale Divinity School. Professors spoke "Yeshua" as common
place. I read the Wikipedia article and learned Yeshua seems the name Yosef and
Miryam gave their son in Nazareth of 2000 years ago. That made me curious to

First, I experienced Cynthia depending on me and me failing. So I went the park
to walk and move my weight to strengthen muscles.
Next, I realized that wine lessened my will to help Cynthia, so I stopped; cold
turkey.
Then I heard her respond to the diagnosing doctor's question, "Just help
me walk again", only to hear him say, "I'm sorry; no one can help.
You have PSP, and it is downhill from here." No one knew how fast it would
happen.
Rebekah and Holly and Mint fired me with doctor concurrence, because I have
balance problems.
I was never a soap-opera-fan, but Cynthia was. I saw "The Young and the
Restless" as a means of being with our daughters in the shared struggle to
keep Cynthia cheerful, as rapid decline worked its darkness.
Now, watching episodes with our daughters, I look at Cynthia's picture when I
think she would have a typical comment -- to Phyllis or Victor, "Don't you
dare!" Or to Jack or Lily, "That's right!"
I was in my second heaven when Cynthia watched with us; now I'm in the third,
thanks to family.

Tennessee's 1966 chemical engineering department inculcated
this commission: UT is authorizing Phil Beaver to practice chemical engineering
(ChE) under the obligation that no equipment you help design can blow up,
risking people's wellness and property.
I discovered a company, Ethyl Corporation, in Baton Rouge, whom I perceived
would accommodate my Tennessee commitment. It took me 5 years to accept that
Ethyl perceived me a ChE rather than student. Along the way, a couple bosses
wanted to fire me over stubbornness for safety, but the directors kept me on

more knowledge and discovered how great LSU's chemical engineering department

I think the problem is European frustration with American
responsible-independence.
By 1763, inhabitants of English colonies accepted that escaping Europe, in
order to escape continual warring by petulant kings, was not working, because
England was enslaving them. -- not only directly, but as caretakers for African
slaves England trafficked here.
The literature is naturally controversial, because the elites on each side
compete through the year 2025.
The Europeans have never understood that the civic faction, We the People of
the United States, do not expect God, church, or state to provide them
"Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" quoting the Declaration
of Independence from England.
Even the above quote reflects rejection of Englishman John Locke's 1690 divine
claim to "property". Thomas Jefferson's committee, declaring war
against King George's regard for colonial inhabitants' status as
"property" changed to "happiness".
Victorious in the war, each of the 13 former colonies was named a free and
independent state. The civic faction tried to exist that way for 4 years, then
chose, in summer 1787, to unite as a nation. Civic people in their states
"ordained and established" a Constitutional republic to serve them
and their states. The Constitution has many features to accommodate majority
vote in the state but prevent national democracy, in order to preserve the
pursuit of statutory justice.
Justice has been Homo sapiens' pursuit ever since the invention of writing and
grammar, which allows responsible debate -- in the west, about 5500 years ago
in Sumer, a cultural isolate within the "melting pot" of global
traders passing through ancient Iraq. About 3900 years ago, Semitic-speaking
scribes colloquially expressed the Sumerian political philosophy in Genesis
1:26-28. It plainly states, in modern interpretation, that on earth, female and
male Homo sapiens are solely responsible to order life. Order requires
goodness.
The elites in all nations seem to prefer power to goodness. Many nations rely
on force to constrain people -- police for inhabitants and the military for
aliens. Power is easy when government partners with religion, whether colloquial
or global.
I know of only one nation, the United States of America, which proffers
authority, power, and responsibility to the civic faction (suggested in Genesis
1:26-28). The reality that only Homo sapiens may and can provide peace on earth
is obvious to a civic people everywhere.
Inhabitants who cannot or will not consider this message await someone else to
take responsibility for chaos in their lifetime. Show me the bureaucrat,
organizer, or church who wants to take care of subjects lives.
I write opinion, because I do not know the ineluctable truth and to learn
considered opinion from fellow citizens on earth.

Greg, I appreciate your attention to Gibran, a thoughtful
person.
I learned long ago that I do not want to change a person's destiny: I want to
share experiences and observations so that fellow citizens can consider them
and choose to reject them, managing his or her person.
In your list of 6 thoughts, I want to share about only the last one, Number 6.
Some people get the impression that I am atheist (a word coined by theists and
thus of no importance to a non-theist) but then are surprised to learn I
support a Baptist church and am an avid student of the complete Bible (my
thoughts mutually annoying to beliefs by my Sunday-school-class-members). I
prefer https://www.chabad.org/torah-texts/ for Old Testament and
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%201&version=CJB , for
example, for New Testament.
Through my literature choices, Sumerian law codes (starting 5500 years ago,
ya), OT (3900 to 2200 ya), and NT (1960 to 1600 ya), I get a continuum of
Western thought until the Bible was canonized in 405 CE. (I apply the little I
know about discovery since then; for example, humankind routinely explores the
former “heavens”.) The Sumerians used a unique language (isolate) in a global
trade-center subject to many language-families from all directions. The Semitic
languages branched into Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabian, and others. Language and
grammar walk with culture.
I have my view of your Item 6, and think controversy arises from the chosen
object of faith: doctrine or goodness. I choose goodness.
Semitic-speaking peoples lived with and observed Sumerians, who were
city-dwellers rather than nomads. A Semitic branch left Sumer to avoid human
sacrifice. Terah had FAITH that human sacrifice was evil and his tribe would
find land to sustain them. He continued animal and fowl sacrifice. When Terah
died, Abraham took over. Abraham's grandson, Jacob, with 4 wives, sired the 12
tribes of Israel, and they maintained Templar blood sacrifice. A few could not
resist human sacrifice when mystery imposed fear. When Rome destroyed the
second temple in Jerusalem, in 70 CE, there was no place to conduct blood
sacrifice, so Israel suspended the practice, focusing on goodness for now. (I
think that is wonderful.)
In this brief introduction, we observe humankind's struggle to discover
goodness that suppresses evil. Humankind does the research to discover both
physical and psychological goodness, in order to know good behavior and choose
it. Humankind has FAITH that goodness is attainable if not perfectible.
Before goodness, doctrine retreats. I think your family masters goodness, and
mutual, plain discussion helps you accept family excellence, articulate it, and
share with fellow citizens who have FAITH in goodness but are bemused by church
and state. You constantly review, in order to pursue goodness.
In the human consideration of goodness that motivates good behavior, I think
there is no place for fear, which empowers both state and church.
Thank you for sharing your goodness with me and other readers.

Today, October 28, 2025, I perceive/opine evidence about a
civic faction in this civil world: humankind naturally pursues goodness that
motivates good behavior.
I am excited to live on, in order to share the idea -- especially to aid the
children, each generation’s hope for human achievement.

Prompted by
a “like” to my comment on friend Emily Toth’s 4:10 AM on Oct 20 post and recent
trends, I had this creative thought:
JUDGES who are arrogant toward both the Sumerian Perception
(5500 years ago: on earth humankind is solely responsible for goodness) and the
amended United States Constitution (December 15, 1791 plus an additional 17
majority decisions) are DEVIATING so far from the ineluctable truth that
American-English is no longer reliable.
In modern paraphrase, under the laws of physics, Genesis 1:26-28 parochially
expresses the Sumerian Perception: an authentic man may and can aid a serenely
confident woman to flourish on earth in goodness to life and posterity. Their
unity is ineluctably reliable to their offspring and descendants.
By endorsing arbitrary “unity” that arrogates the laws of physics, judges made
“marriage” meaningless. Arrogant judges spawn arrogant lawyers. With arrogant
judges and lawyers, the public cannot communicate in court appearance. For
example, if confronted with the question, “Is this your family?” either
plaintiff or defendant may prudently respond, “That depends on what the
definition of family is.”
In another instance, the Supreme Court unconstitutionally opined in a 6:3
“decision” that criminal juries must vote 12:0 to opine about competing lawyers’
judicial-performances without regard to Amendment VI’s requirement: “an impartial jury of the state and
district wherein the crime shall have been committed”. The key is impartial
rather than unanimous.
The rogue, majority judges in Ramos vs Louisiana ignored their own reality that
justice usually requires non-unanimous votes, primarily because democracy does
not respect the United-States-republican rule-of-law. For this reason, the
Supreme Court often votes 5:4, allowing the four to dissent, so that their
opinion can be carried forward to future discovery of injustice. It is
ludicrous that judges who care not for the ineluctable truth used 6:3 majority
to impose 12:0 unanimity on the public.
I seek a constitutional lawyer who will help me contest and reverse Ramos v LA,
leaving it to the wonderful people in Louisiana to enact a new referendum to
restore 9:3 jury decisions in criminal cases trials.
Oct 24 too,
Here's an example of policy-focus that can help fellow
citizens defeat TDS:
The United States administration (USa) is transparent regarding tariff
reciprocity. The USA, the world's largest economy, has premier leverage in the
marketplace.
Global-trade is essential to the market, and consumer-appreciation is essential
to producer-survival. Past USa's did not recognize this vital point and were
passive as the rest of the world took advantage of the USA.
The present USa further recognizes that the key to success is the civic
faction, We the People of the United States, as defined in the preamble to the
US Constitution, in my paraphrase: We civic-citizens pursue six moral
intentions "to ourselves and our Posterity".
Few citizens articulate the intentions expressed by the amendable
Constitution's republican-protection from democracy. However, goodness-that-motivates-good-behavior
is in the American civic-meme.
The civic faction uses the rule of law to encourage good behavior, constrain
crime, oppress wickedness, and eliminate evil. Civic citizens aid DISCOVERY of
unjust law and AMENDMENT to statutory justice. Thereby, the accused, indicted,
tried, and convicted suffer whatever penalty the law specified.
Attacking the police or military invites immediate application of the specified
penalty. The civic faction aids the USa in competition with other governments.
Fortunately, the present USa promotes goodness in the best way: practice. The
Democrat Party, Canada, and other nations may and can catch a departing train.

Now updating this presentation, with workshop introduction and detail about
"The Sumerian Perception" (on earth, humankind is solely responsible
for order) and drafting the second: how monotheism exacerbates division.
Oct 20
A comment, yesterday by my friend Joel, prompted an idea.
Anticipating thanksgiving gatherings, prepare to respond to political thought
with policy-focus. Present policy rather than persons.
Fellow citizens may and can share preferences for policies rather than
personalities. Some fellow citizens may prefer, for example, equity and climate
change instead of domestic security and physical viability.
Despite a tradition of unity, humankind is divided: civic among all of civil,
spiritual, dissident, rebel, criminal, and evil. The civic citizen responsibly
earns the way of living he or she wants and mutually accommodates statutory
justice. Other fellow citizens divide themselves on some form of dependency.
If conversations go well, tradition might regard physics and its progeny,
including psychology: The heartlessness of Marxism awokened humankind to
authority, power, and responsibility to provide goodness to its children and
youth rather than rely on faith in higher power.

When an authentic man meets a woman, he takes no special interest if there is
no mutual attraction to cause conversation. Cynthia's serene confidence was
ineluctable, and I was glad when she accepted a date with me.
Without counselling, I courted her. When she accepted I was courting her, she
said, "If anyone marries me, it will be in my Church by my priest." I
faced a decision for which I was uninformed. Consequently, I attended pre cana
with her and committed to raise the children Catholic.
My perception that power higher than Church or state had originated my-being
means I cannot impose Church or state. I don't know how Mom and Dad's power
compares with Church or state but am grateful to be a person.
Mom and Dad's community of baptized believers had inculcated Matthew 19:6,
without emphasis on the previous verse, NineteenFive. Now, after 56 years'
marriage and Cynthia's passing, with counselling from my sister-in-law, I
appreciate Matthew 19:5 as advice to move loyalty from parents to wife, which I
did. However, I could not and did not deny personal power that is higher than
Church, state, and parents.
After Cynthia's passing, I realize my life with her was a dream and our
daughters are each a great woman. I am dedicated to keeping that dream alive.
In the essay Emily posted, I perceive 2 problems. First, the writer starts by
generalizing a particular attitude by only one side of a relationship. Neither
Cynthia nor I realized the importance of me being true to my person, regardless
of Church, state, or Mom and Dad. Trust me: If Cynthia had realized my need,
she would have articulated it instead of merely accommodating it. Second, the
writer does not accept the obvious evidence from physics: An authentic man
unites to aid his wife for life, unto grandchildren and descendants.
"The truth will set you free" is an idea that can be changed by
merely changing the topic. A more useful endeavor is to pursue the ineluctable
truth, where "ineluctable" means, together, not to be avoided,
changed, or resisted. Cynthia was and is ineluctable.
There are many ineluctable women and each one may and can be fulfilled by an
authentic man, if the woman so chooses. And there are many authentic men,
seeking to aid a woman for life. I think I am doing that.

I think you all are just enjoying the weather and amusements
-- like going to Mardi Gras.
I'm one of the 14 million voters in 2016 primaries who made it possible for
Trump to run for President.
The fake "no kings" crowd teamed up and did all they could to ruin
his 4 years, and we took notes. All the while, my dear sister (and friend) and
I laughed heartily at the fakers' frustrations. She ended memorable
conversation with "It's going great, but I still wish Trump would keep his
personal mouth shut. He lessens his impact when he throws barbs." Dona and
I just did not realize how evil the Democrat Party is.
Thankfully, the 2024 Trump team motivated more voters and Trump proved that
Dona's concerns and mine just did not benefit from his perspective. I wrote to
Trump saying that when he uses slang he lessens his impact. I guess I'm just
stubborn about my opinions.
We have the privilege to accept a 5500 year-old geo-political abyss. DEI or
wokeism, evil as it is, alerted us that tradition ate our brains (borrowing
from Jeffrey A. Tucker, Epoch Times) and drove us to chaos. Both sides --
competitive religion or tradition and DEI have the opportunity to choose to
collaborate for goodness that motivates good behavior.
If most people choose to pursue goodness whether they are religious or not,
evil may be suppressed and annihilated; our Posterity can write about the rise
from the abyss. If violence prevails, such as for criminals and against ICE,
the worst days lie ahead.
If you all are serious "king fakers", you're still my friends, and I
want to know what's in it to vote for Kamala or other Obama surrogate.

Influencing social democracy against the
United-States-republicanism exposes the bane of religion/ideology: faith in
mystery invites oppression. The civic faction of Homo sapiens retains
sufficient humility toward the power that constrains the consequences of choice
to act. Perhaps the power is the laws of physics, or goodness, or the ultimate
goodness Homo sapiens pursues, or something to be discovered; it need not
suffer a contrived title.
Every Homo sapiens is born with the opportunity to learn/discover goodness that
motivates good behavior. Fate's impact on inculcation, observation, experience,
and acceptance by individuals in their groups produces an array of lifestyles:
civic, civil, passive, dissident/resistant, rebellious, criminal, wicked, and
evil. Civic citizens practice, encourage, and promote goodness and justice.
In the United States, the civic faction pursues statutory justice, amending the
Constitution when unjust law is discovered. The Constitutional republic protects
the people from democracy.
Civic citizens accept the 5500 year-old Sumerian Perception, in this
generation's terms: female and male Homo sapiens is solely authorized,
empowered, and responsible to pursue goodness on earth. Ideologies like the
3900 year-old Judeo-Christian religion attempt to avoid responsibility through
faith in a mystery: images presumed to license freedom to competitive
believers. No entity on earth can warrant freedom.
The attempt to resist the Sumerian Perception is recorded in Genesis 1:26-28, a
transition from polytheistic mythology to competitive monotheism.
Many theists try to saddle civic citizens with the reproof "atheist",
in order to resist the power that constrains the consequence of human choice.
Civic citizens, religious or not, place their faith in ineluctable evidence
rather than doctrine or opinion. They pursue mutual opportunity among Homo
sapiens rather than favor to cultural believers.
The United States republic accommodates "In God We Trust" as long as
civic citizens remain humble to whatever constrains the consequences of human
choice to act.
I hope my opinion influences goodness that motivates good behavior starting
with the coming season of goodwill.

On this ineluctable day, I feel motivated by forces I cannot
imagine:
Today is the anniversary of Stephen’s birthday, the first
after both he (1991) and Cynthia (May 2025) died. Masses for them are planned
at Brusly and at St. Jude. Rebekah notified family and friends.
A couple days ago, she suggested that I use Facebook to
invite people to the beginning of a library-workshop, “Discovering Goodness
that Motivates Good Behavior”. I did. Two friends liked the post. Thank you and
Rebekah.
Back to family, Jeff Totty visited to grieve in July 1991,
while we were designing Stephen’s grave marker. Jeff suggested the caption
“Awesome Goodness”. It’s there. “Pure goodness” will grace Cynthia’s marker.
The attached photo of step-cousins, Brandon, Stephen, and
Brian, is mystic. Brian’s story about eternal, coaching-impact is moving.
“Thank you, Brian”, seems insufficient, as you may see, below. Tomorrow, I will
think of Brian and Stephen, the elder, as I speak then listen to discuss
“Goodness that motivates good behavior”.
This morning’s experiences make me wonder: Did Abraham need
to appreciate Hagar’s and Sarah’s offspring – Ishmael, the elder, and Isaac, in
order for the Middle East to achieve peace 3700 years ago?
Chaos in 2025 begs our generation to consider modern
humankind. Youth are born to pursue goodness and adults may and can choose good
behavior, in order to aid children. Not one surviving competitive-construct ---
Judeo-Christianity, DEI, Marxism, Liberation Theology, tradition, nor any of
10,000 religions and ideologies on earth -- stands time's test of goodness.
Prior generations left us the opportunity to improve Homo
sapiens, the species that may and can order life on earth and its extensions.
Each person may and can choose good behavior. Thank you, Stephen.

As a widower after 56 years marriage with one woman, my
better-half seems to think "necessary" weakens this post, motivating
me to revise to, "most children acquire: trust, commitment, good behavior,
and the hope for goodness".
As always, I await improvement of my opinion.
Oct 17, flyer attached
Announcing library meetings, 3rd Sundays, beginning October
19:
In late July 3 people agreed that despite a confused world,
Baton-Rouge-people practice goodness that motivates good behavior. Fellow
citizens who speak, listen, and engage may and can enhance children’s natural
desire for goodness.
Twelve monthly meetings are designed to discover
achievements in the past and accelerate discovery of goodness. The first
meeting is announced in the attached flyer.
The room accommodates 20 people. If there is overrun, we
will schedule a second discussion that reflects improvements from Sunday’s
participation.

Dear
Mr. President:
On
Monday, I suggested that some people interpret your personal goodness as
intentions by God, preserving debate about the source of evil.
I
think we Homo sapiens cannot assign to God the responsibility for consequences
of human choices. Evil people launch bullets to lessen goodness, sometimes
failing. Both physics-with-progeny and civic integrity guide humankind in
discovering goodness.
Charlie
Kirk’s Medal of Freedom rightfully features a Christian cross, his chosen
inspiration. But I think freedom and Christianity publically-confound the
American-goodness that constrains badness.
The
idea that religion constrains the consequences of human choice between goodness
and badness comfortably waits an eternity for proof. Meanwhile, Christianity
exponentially increases internal division, with 1200 sects among America’s 340
million people and 45,000 sects within earth’s 8 billion population. Moreover,
Christianity is only one of 4,000 to 10,000 sectarian-religions in the world.
Yet Christian individuals may and can choose humility, goodness, and
collaboration-with civic-citizens.
Violent
Christians are as evil as any civil violators. To domestically limit religious
violence, the civic faction in the United States can amend the
religious-practice clause in the First Amendment. I suggest, "Congress
shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or [promoting] the
free exercise thereof.” Also, Congress may and can define “religion”. I
suggest, “Choosing to act on opinion, without evidence of goodness and justice”
(e.g., self-defense).
The
civic faction, We the People of the United States, intends republicanism
(statutory justice) “to ourselves and our Posterity”. Founders formulated civic
intentions after winning independence from the English monarchy; tried to
function as states from 1784 to 1788; and, observing history’s harms from
democracy, created the American republic. Meanwhile, war-ally France suffered
bloody-revolution for freedom from feudalism.
On
or before July 4, 2026, it would be good for your administration to clarify the
civic faction’s responsibility for independence rather than hope for civil
license. France’s gift in New York Harbor could and should be renamed, “The
Statue of Independent Responsibility”, or better.
During
recent months, evil people launched bullets toward people’s heads, with
differing physical and psychological consequences. When the person dies,
factions may debate: the death is good or God is evil. In no way do I think
that victims, Charlie Kirk or Corey Comperatore, no longer serving wife,
children, and fellow citizens is goodness. But God does not choose victims.
Your survival of at least 2 attacks is goodness and I pray you retire to enjoy
family, friends, and a civic people in completing your lifetime.
I
hope that before July 4, 2026, you will use these opinions as you perceive
them. First, I hope and pray readers grant you the opportunity to read the
ideas.
Sincerely,
Phil

Dear
Mr. President:
Yesterday
in Israel, when you said, I recall, “. . . age of faith, hope, and God”, I
hoped every civic citizen in the world judiciously embraced your personal
goodness. You motivate civic people to discover and practice good behavior. But
not every civic person humbly pursues justice: some impose their religion or
none.
In
my 82nd year, because I do not know the ineluctable truth, I perceive that it
is sufficient to accept the mysterious power that constrains the consequences
of human choice. Before, I struggled to impose the image of Homo sapiens onto
the mystery.
Perhaps
the mysterious power is discovery and appreciation of the laws of physics and
its progeny, such as mathematics, economics, and psychology. Maybe the power is
the psychological goodness humankind will achieve in the distant future. The
power seems a mystery. But goodness seems the authority and responsibility that
guides humankind to justice against evil.
People
who find hope and comfort in divinity may and can humbly choose good behavior
and justice. I think this is why the intentions of the civic faction, We the
People of the United States, stated in the preamble, does not include religion.
There, “Blessings” means “advantage”.
Glimpsing
5500 years’ history on earth, it seems that you, Mr. President, have unique
opportunity to promote goodness which motivates good behavior. If done your
way, history may become grateful beyond what the civic faction could imagine on
October 13, 2025.
Sincerely,
Phil

Dear
Mr. President:
Please preserve your role as husband to
Mrs. Trump and father to your family, taking every precaution yet without fear.
I hope yesterday’s heartfelt message is
impactful: this widower, as of May 17, 2025, feels he is in heaven, because he
maintains the dream he enjoyed during 56 years’ marriage. Only when my body,
mind, and person stop functioning will our marriage end. I perceive our
daughters are rewarded and comforted to experience my appreciation.
I am in no position to assess Charlie
Kirk’s heaven. However, evil people ended his marriage and fatherhood. I dare
to hope and dream that his awareness -- of his permanent absence -- also ended.
I hope you secure opportunity to mimic
Harry Truman, who was delighted to return to being a private citizen and live
among his family and neighbors.
Sincerely,
Phil

Dear Mr.
President:
I saw you on TV express good-natured hopes
to experience heaven. I would not lessen your hopes but perceive you influence
if not effect heaven now.
Maybe my wonderful wife, who died on May
17 this year, is aware that life with her – our heaven – continues in my mind,
heart, and actions. Perhaps only her accomplishments survive termination of her
body, brain, and activity. Only my passing will terminate her influence on me.
Never wrong, church shares not that
Genesis 1:26-28 expresses a 5500 year-old Sumerian political-philosophy: only
female and male Homo sapiens may and can pursue peace on earth. The Genesis-1
“in the image of the god” (lower case to represent Sumerian humility) is
affirmed in Psalm 82: those who free the humble from the wicked are goddesses
and gods facing death. I envision my marriage and yours.
Using those two Bible references, the
world may and can accept the power, authority, and responsibility to aid
children in their desire for goodness. But competitive church -- religion --
will not lead nations there.
Most citizens civically collaborate
without articulating that We the People of the United States pursues goodness
“to ourselves and our Posterity”. With children, “Posterity” includes legal
immigrants. Civic citizens do all they can to aid civil behavior. The civic
faction in the United States, in the image of the god, favors your presidency.
The god’s favor is thereby indicated.
You are influencing the world to pursue
peace as historically as Cyrus the Great and Marcus Aurelius. The world’s civic
people, having the image of the god, favors you – again seeming to reflect the
god’s favor.
I think only a civic people, gods facing
death, may and can provide order on earth.
Best wishes for your historic, creative
actions for peace.
Sincerely,
Phil
