Practice for April 9, 2016
- If
you are tired of civic meetings that remind you of Crossfire TV events,
join our meetings. We state a concern, suggest a remedy, then listen to
responses. We listen to the responses, and together create the
possibility to improve future living in Baton Rouge. Please mark your
calendar for a special meeting, the second collaboration for
physics-based ethics respecting family fidelity. Tuesday, April 19, 7:00
PM, Jones Creek Branch Library, . See more detail at
theadvocate.com/calendar#/details/Civic-discussion-How-Civic-Morality-Informs-Family/2193425/2016-04-19T19.
The table of contents for the thirty-minute presentation follows:
- Reviewing past two years’ collaboration by 40 people in 7 meetings
- Collaborative dialogue is necessary; hesitance invites civic loss
- The status: Collaboration for a better, future seems quietly underway
- “Civic” expresses moral human connections for now and for the future
- “Nature,” appealed to in American independence emerged from physics.
- Four
point theory of a connected people: personal privacy; civic
collaboration; physics-based ethics for civic morality; and a personally
cultivated preamble
- Physics-based ethics empowers authenticity in human progress
- From dependent, newborn person; three-decade transition to authentic, full life
- A prepared couple invites a possible person into mutual fidelity: family and heritage
- Mutual personal-appreciation and bonding: a splendid human journey
- Possible consequences of sexual intimacy—some good, some bad
- Natural abortion: Physics limits its own errors
- A civic people subjugate neither mom nor baby
- Civic morality and human fidelity protect the child, the most vulnerable person.
- A connected people collaborate for a future that is inviting to children
- Should civic opinion coerce family personal responsibilities?
- Will Baton Rouge people choose personal liberty with civic morality (PLwCM)?
A chemical engineer trying to give a talk on family fidelity, armed
with thorough knowledge of the world’s noble, moral political theory,
would be powerlessly uninformed. However, a humble person trying to
understand physics and how families can benefit from understanding can
create a thoughtful presentation on which other people can overlay their
experiences and hopes and thereby create a future perhaps better than
the one that is coming like a typhoon.
- If
physics-based ethics is adopted, how can practitioners be free to
innovate—to push the envelope of civic morality? Imaginative persons
will then have the best possible basis—the bedrock--for responsibly
exploring the unknown: physics. Today, there is nothing but
opinion-based ethics –a struggle for more adaptation of Blackstone and
theism versus the new-age democracy—whatever an organized, obstructive
faction of the people wants and can cram through some errant judge to
move past the legislature and/or the administration. Absent religion,
which never was a sound basis for civic morality, what is the bedrock
foundation on which a people can cultivate an overarching culture of a
civic people? We assert it is physics.
- A recent visit with my friend and mentor, Gordon Hughmark, brought to light a couple improvements.
- I must do a more convincing job of presenting the stretch from physics to personal opinion.
- Keeping
the title and non-profit corporation, A Civic People of the United
States, I plan to change the subject of most discussions to “a connected
people,” instead of a “civic people,” after defining first “civic” and
then “a connected people.” Key to this decision is the tie to the
literal preamble to the constitution for the USA.
- In
my continuing, antagonizing contributions on a blog for conservative,
constitutional law professors, one anonymous poster addressed my posts
sensibly. See www.libertylawsite.org/2016/03/09/american-exceptionalism-is-ending-where/#comment-1428257
- Recently,
I realized the timeline of history we have been developing since
February, 2014, is useful for supporting preservation of monuments. We
have pointed out in online forums that viewing the last two-hundred
years of slavery and the last fifty years of racism is insufficient to
recognize the need for human supremacy rather than skin-colored
supremacy: the timeline needs to start at least 3800 years ago, when
slavery was institutional.
We used the timeline-ideas to witness at the senate committee meeting
to hear SB 276 on preserving New Orleans monuments. The hearing was a
disaster, with no witnesses against and thirteen witnesses for, then the
nay vote: five Democrats vs 4 Republicans. It seemed like a closed deal
from the start and both sponsoring Senator Beth Mizell and Lt. Gov.
Billy Nungesser seemed like amateurs.
From that meeting forward, I will introduce myself as taxpayer and assert senators’ obligations to exhibit propriety
as follow taxpayers and citizens. I will not waste effort trying to
learn temporal senate protocol: it is unorganized, impromptu and hard to
follow.
The state’s interest in tourism and civic morality took a back seat to
black power and black liberation collective, IMO. We will do what we can
to reverse what is happening: anarchy respecting human interests.
- On
the other hand, some of the witnesses exhibited the typical naiveté of
factional, white Christians not appreciating let alone respecting black
attitudes. When I refer to black power and black liberation theology,
what I referencing is the attitude, held by many blacks and many whites,
that white-Christianity has had its chance to show it is influenced by
Jesus and has totally failed. The only way black people can achieve
black economic supremacy is to keep white people from influencing their
lives, with the exception of white people who are doing all they can to
collaborate with and effect black-American supremacy.
- The
next day, a past New Orleans resident informed me of the arrogant
removal of a Statue of Rev. Dr. Leroy Abernathy. If so, that is a
political-combat begging injustice, which to my knowledge has not been
discussed in Baton Rouge forums. “What goes down comes around” seems to
come to mind.
- Working
against white supremacy and black supremacy to establish human
supremacy requires complete understanding. Understanding is, naturally,
balanced.
- The
prepared speech for my witness involves an interesting development. I
wrote of factional Christianity arrogating against physics, letting the
arrogance define “physics.” I think it is powerful and will use future
expressions that way. The key sentence is: “the physics of slavery--chains
and whips, psychological cruelties, tearing families apart, rape;
masters often neglecting responsibilities for safety, food, clothing,
housing, and medical care—the physics makes it plain that humans cannot enslave humans except by arrogant, cruel force.”
- People
who are interested in how other state legislatures handle concerns can
find research at National Conference of State Legislatures, www.ncsl.org/
- The online-resource suggestions we listed in the past are posted in one file at cipbr.blogspot.com.
- Any suggestions to add to the list of online resources would be welcomed.
- These
messages go to about 150 people, and about half open the email. No one
responds to the messages. A few people who know they are advisors help
occasionally, especially if directly asked. Everyone just wants to live.
However, just as a person must earn their living to enjoy civic
liberty, a person must collaborate for civic justice in order to enjoy
private liberty. Political regimes in the USA over the last 228 years
have been glad We the People of the United States neglected the preamble
to the constitution for the USA. Our generation can start using it.
However, the chances for private liberty with civic morality (PLwCM)
are presently eroding. No one knows when their route, whether on a
street or on the sidewalk, to a vital meeting or for emergency care,
will be blocked by militant, Marxist-Alinsky-disrupters, whether
students or adults, or worse: terrorists. For example, such people
helped organize to interrupt a Metro-Council meeting. Discussions about
municipal planning and support for the medical corridor that exists at
Essen and Picardy were delayed 90 days. Thank goodness, Mayor Holden
turned down the subsequent bid for $100,000 in public funds.
