The U.S. Preamble proposes civic, civil, and legal discipline

Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual equality:  For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase it for my proposal as follows: “Willing citizens collaborate, communicate, and connect to provide 5 public institutions—integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity—so as to encourage responsible human liberty to living people.” I want to collaborate with the other citizens on this paraphrase and theirs yet would preserve the original, 1787, text, unless it is amended by the people.

It seems no one has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who collaborate for human justice.

Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.

It’s good to have an authoritative list. “The seven deadly sins are pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath and sloth. They are considered deadly because Christians thought they had the power to kill the divine spirit in people.” In an afterthought, I perceive two groups: 4 civic jealousies and 3 personal indulgences.

This week, I interpreted six public-precautions from the U.S. Preamble’s proposition: deceit, injustice, disruption, weakness, poverty, and dependence. My list seems to define two groups of preventions: 3 public offenses and 3 personal indulgences.

I’d like to read the consensus list of disciplinary cautions according to the living U.S. civic citizens: We the People of the United States who trust-in, rely-on, and amend the U.S. Constitution toward the perfection of statutory justice. It seems obvious that whatever-God-is holds humankind responsible to develop statutory justice or the perfect law enforcement.

While I think Christians have the right to take responsibility for their divine spirits, civic integrity requires each to observe the precautions the individual Christian perceives in the U.S. Preamble’s proposition. It is deceitful to claim to be of We the People of the United States, never considering much less accepting the people’s proposition for equity under statutory justice. Aliens to statutory justice should not be allowed to vote; pray to a God that may not conform to whatever-God-is? yes: vote? no. Privately pray and publicly uphold statutory justice? Yes.

Excellent as her ideas are, Daniels only starts on the path to improved education of children (and adults like me). Children need to comprehend actual reality and intend to live a complete human life by the time they enter chronological young adulthood.

Here’s a starting list of the basics of childhood encouragement and coaching. It’s shocking that we have not begun the reform that is available to U.S. citizens:

a.     This fact is founded in physics, the object of discovery, and its progeny including biology and psychology.

                                  i.    Rationalization can inspire people to erroneously resist physics.

                                 ii.    Resisting physics does not alter the laws of physics. For example, “fly like a bird” begs woe.

b.    The decision to consider intimate conversation with a person should be founded in the potential for monogamy for life.

                                  i.    Heterosexual monogamy may involve conception and child-rearing.

1.    The woman’s viable ova are due human appreciation, equity, and dignity

2.    A potential spouse who does not appreciate human ova is not a promising candidate for intimacy

3.    Heterosexual spouses share their monogamy for life with their children, grandchildren, and beyond

Louisiana is at a pivotal time with so many positions open in education departments. Let’s reform them to the Department of Human Encouragement.

In fact, his resistance delayed Virginia’s ratification making New Hampshire the 9th required state to establish the USA as a global nation on June 21, 1788. It is egregious to continue to exploit African slavery as America’s original sin when European countries, dominantly England, colonized this land using slaves. Freemen realized they were being enslaved as overseers of the doctrine of discovery (for God’s kingdom) and rebelled. The unbiased history shows that the Civil War was Christian bloodletting by white supremacy believers against the abolitionists. Consider Bleeding Kansas, R. E. Lee’s letter to his wife in December, 1856, and the Declaration of Secession.

The Bill of Rights attempted to re-establish the colonial-British traditions in the 13 eastern seaboard states. Patrick Henry and others pushed it to repress the preamble with its elevation of We the People of the United States over the 13 free and independent states. Whereas the framers were apolitical, and after Benjamin Franklin’s failed motion for daily prayer areligious, the First Congress unconstitutionally established a church-state partnership by tradition to compete with England’s Church-of-England-Parliament constitutional partnership.

We the People of the United States must require, by our votes, Congress to reform to America’s proposition as stated in the preamble instead of the Chapter XI Machiavellian preservation of English psychology in America. Every Senator must either conduct himself or herself first as a member of We the People of the United States or else not be electable. Any elected or appointed official who claims allegiance to his or her religion over and above We the People of the United States must be fired from office. Like it or not, even Mormon “saints” must be first a citizen rather than an alien to the preamble’s proposition. This is a shocking proposal, but the sooner it happens, the sooner America’s promises can be effected after over 231 years of repression by Congress.

Only in the past month, I have discovered that liberty is a form of license that can be used to coerce people. I would not join an Alinsky-Marxist organization (AMO) that routinely disrupts civic activity for the sake of liberty, as the French did in bloody ways in 1789. To this day, French politics is tainted by violent, bloody disruption.

My reform comes only a year after the 6th annual commemoration of June 21, 1788, the day 9 states legally established the U.S. as a global nation, leaving four free-and-independent-global-states according to the 1783 Treaty of Paris. Two states joined the USA before operations began on March 4, 1789, leaving 2 dissident states and an 11-state union.

The legal status of the union implies the U.S. Preamble is a civic, civil, and legal proposition. It’s object is “Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.” Since we are “posterity” to the 1788 ratifiers, we are “ourselves” to future posterity.

In my cautionary interpretation of the preamble’s proposition, I have dropped “liberty” in favor of “independence,” which is prudent no matter what the AMO cause may be. Every citizens owes it to himself or herself to own and nourish an interpretation of the U.S. Preamble. Neither of these democracies is worthy of support by the people, as either one develops chaos rather than discipline. The problem is that the majority want to vote but very few citizens do the work so as to make certain they are voting to favor discipline for self, living family, descendants, and future immigrants.

Discipline seems the reason the 55 framers---moreover the 39 signers---of the U.S. Constitution designed and guaranteed a republican form of government. Fortunately, acceptance of discipline was abstractly expressed by the 5-member Committee of Style during September 8-11, 1787. Their posterity (living citizens from then to now and beyond) may be grateful that 9 of 13 former British colonies ratified the amendable 1787 U.S. Constitution, with its abstract preamble (the U.S. Preamble).

U.S. citizens owe it to themselves---are civically, civilly, and legally obligated---to interpret the U.S. Preamble so as to order their civic lives. Thereby, fellow citizens may pursue individual happiness with civic integrity rather than submit to the happiness the majority or a coalition of minorities would impose on them.                                   i.    In the USA, the citizen’s agreement to civic integrity is offered in the preamble to the U.S. Constitution. On acceptance of the U.S. Preamble’s proposition, the fellow citizen chooses whether or not he or she is a member of the entity We the People of the United States as defined in the US Preamble.

                                 ii.    Intentionally or not, the U.S. Preamble is an abstract sentence that addresses living citizens rather than “founding fathers” or other historical persons. Therefore, each living citizen may interpret the sentence for personal use or not. In my interpretation, the U.S. Preamble proposes responsible human independence. If so, the irresponsible citizen chooses dependence in some form.

                                iii.    The U.S. Preamble does not specify standards of achievement for the six public disciplines it offers of by and for the people. Perhaps the development of responsible human independence is the measure of progress.

5.    The culture that adopts these principles or better may have an achievable, better future, because the children who face issues their parents and teachers could not imagine are empowered with HIPEA and many will develop integrity. The few who choose or drift-into infidelity will be encouraged to reform by the happier livelihood they see around them.

Professor Matthes adds to my recent discovery that despite my short fascination with “responsible human liberty” as the object of the U.S. Preamble’s proposition to living citizens I prefer “responsible human independence.”



Past revolutions for liberty involved preference for death (American Revolution of 1774) or blood (French revolution of 1789). A chief difference regarding “the right thing to do” is that liberty can be license to harm others or self (Henry’s “Give me liberty or give me death.”) whereas independence implies resisting liberty to avoid harm to or from any person or association.



Often, professors’ essays are proprietary to academia's acceptance of the writer’s agenda and are thus often constrained to the past. And the public can’t understand. For example, “humanity’s natural justice” invokes conformity to “natural law,” an often erroneous 15th century expression of unchanging human morality constructed by reason. In 2020, it is more promising to consider the evolution of the human species as intentional compliance with the laws of physics (the object of discovery) so that human psychology gradually approaches statutory justice.



The quote, ”Nature has rendered man incapable of enjoying …” can be interpreted as follows:  The laws of physics and its progeny, psychology, constrain the human individual to neither initiate nor tolerate harm to or from any person or association so as to maintain the independence to develop integrity.



And”Liberty is not a matter of words, but . . .” may be interpreted as follows: Responsible human independence is so civically beneficial that when it is publicly encouraged, citizens require both elected and appointed officials to uphold the rule of law.



A Greek, 2400 years ago, suggested that humankind can develop equity under statutory justice. In the USA, the proposition to develop statutory justice is stated in the U.S. Preamble, which each citizen must interpret if he or she intends to order his or her civic life. A cautionary interpretation is instructive, and mine today is:  We the People of the United States intentionally discipline ourselves and encourage fellow citizens to both avoid and discourage deceit, injustice, disruption, weakness, and poverty in order to empower responsible human independence to living citizens.

Your stand is no good to me and I doubt it’s good for your citizenship. From my perspective, Christian religious communities are entitled to the hope and comfort they place in Jesus as long as they do not use it to abuse fellow citizens who practice civic integrity.

The U.S. Preamble does not specify standards by which performance may be measured. Perhaps the proportion of citizens who practice responsible human independence is the implied measure.

From my view, the person who claims to be a member of We the People of the United States but tries to ignore the precautions he or she observes in the U.S. Preamble is a dissident if not an alien. The deception is especially egregious when a Christian community ignores the Holy Bible that the rest of us read.

The Apostle John’s writings are especially egregious and divisive for humans who choose the humility to admit they trust-in and commit-to whatever-God-is. The most offensive passage addresses disciples of Jesus in John 15:18-23, CJB: “If the world hates you, understand that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, the world would have loved its own. But because you do not belong to the world — on the contrary, I have picked you out of the world — therefore the world hates you. Remember what I told you, `A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you too; if they kept my word, they will keep yours too. But they will do all this to you on my account, because they don’t know the One who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they wouldn’t be guilty of sin; but now, they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates me hates my Father also.”

Hate is common to John’s writing, but I reject his hate along with all the rest. I prefer to appreciate my fellow responsible citizens, without probing their private pursuits such as religion or spirituality.

A second egregious practice by some Christian individuals is to ignore precautions plainly stated in the Holy Bible perhaps 3700 years ago. For example, Genesis 1:26-28, CJB, “Then God said, ‘Let us make humankind in our image, in the likeness of ourselves; and let them rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the animals, and over all the earth, and over every crawling creature that crawls on the earth.’ So God created humankind in his own image; in the image of God he created him: male and female he created them. God blessed them: God said to them, ‘Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air and every living creature that crawls on the earth.’”

I expect Christians and every special-interest association who practice civic integrity to accept that whatever-God-is assigned to humans the duty to discipline self and encourage fellow citizens to both avoid and discourage deceit, injustice, disruption, weakness, and poverty in order to empower responsible human independence to living citizens.

Citizens choose whether they are of We the People of the United States (or another nation’s civic, civil, and legal proposition) or not. The Christian who uses pursuit of egocentrically favorable afterdeath as an excuse to refuse to “fill the earth and subdue it” along with fellow citizens (and more egregiously if he or she accuses non-believers of hatred), is an alien to the U.S. proposition, civic integrity, and human justice.

I urge readers to own a personal interpretation of the U.S. Preamble’s proposition and publish it so as to thereby encourage fellow citizens.

Nationally accepting the U.S. Preamble offers each citizen an achievable better future



Civic, civil, and legal subject, predicate, and object of the U.S. Constitution’s proposition:

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."



An affirmative interpretation for living citizens:

We the People of the United States intentionally discipline ourselves and encourage fellow citizens to integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity in order to empower responsible human independence to living citizens.



A cautionary interpretation:

We the People of the United States intentionally discipline ourselves and encourage fellow citizens to avoid and discourage deceit, injustice, disruption, weakness, and poverty in order to empower responsible human independence to living citizens.



Let’s establish this citizens’ purpose after neglect since June 21, 1788. Let voters choose candidates for election based on whether or not the platform reviews conduct and intentions that conform to the U.S. Preamble according to the candidate’s interpretation.
