Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual equality: For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase it for my proposal as follows: “Willing citizens collaborate, communicate, and connect to provide 5 public institutions—integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity—so as to encourage responsible human liberty to living people.” I want to collaborate with the other citizens on this paraphrase and theirs yet would preserve the original, 1787, text, unless it is amended by the people.
It seems no one has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who collaborate for human justice.
Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.

It occurred to me that my ardent promotion of the U.S. Preamble’s proposition is developed and improving as intellectual property, perhaps defensible under the U.S. Constitution, Article V.
If so, I hope it will lead to amendment of the First Amendment to promote integrity, making separation of church from state a fellow citizens’ voluntary practice rather than a state pretense. And if the pledge to the flag must include a prayer, let it be “under whatever-God-is” or better so as to express humility to higher power.
Perhaps the higher power is the ultimate integrity, or responsible human liberty, that humankind can attain. If so, we seem to be in a regression from which we must and will reform.

I’m not saying that Capital Area Alliance for the Homeless officials are profiteers: I don't know them at all. My concern is that their approach sponsors dependency, in competition with our new mental-health facility to encourage responsible human independence.
I imagine this $250,000 partial government grant supplemented by public philanthropy growing into an entire new government bureaucracy with annual taxation. It seems a scheme for taxation without authorization by We the People of Baton Rouge.

First, the human individual has the power, energy, and authority (HIPEA) to develop either integrity or infidelity. Since no culture teaches this actual reality, few humans discover and accept HIPEA. Almost none choose to develop integrity, because most cultures inculcate the search for higher authority.
Good and bad is a construct under higher authority, and thus is a construct according to the institution that believers follow.
This does not leave humankind in the dark. Integrity is a practice. The human infant constantly asks, “What’s that?” If the caretaker responds with integrity, at times, he or she must say, “I don’t know,” and look it up or explain if knowing is not possible at this time.
By example, the caretaker is teaching integrity: state the-discovered-truth or the-literal-truth if known and otherwise admit, “I don’t know.”
At some point, the child may ask, “Why do you answer ‘I don’t know’ so often?”
The caretaker can respond with an explanation of HIPEA and developing integrity.
Right away, the child may ask, “Integrity to what or to whom?”
Then, the caretaker may choose to respond: “Integrity to physics and its progeny---mathematics, chemistry, biology, psychology, all objects of discovery, as well as reserve regarding products of the unknowns: imagination, fiction, religion, speculation, any of which may be objects of new discovery but without ineluctable evidence remain in the category for the response, ‘I don’t know.’ On this practice, integrity, we may live advantageous lives and also accept death according to personal happiness.”

It seems that in a civic culture, responsible human independence hinges on self-discipline to the people’s proposition for MCS&S. Taking liberty-to be unfaithful to MCS&S begs misery and property loss. If it’s a trade, it’s negative.

An ineluctable evidence is that men do not deliver about 400 viable ova during their fertile years. Thus, woman are the source of the briefly viable single cell needed to produce a human being. It is a technique that was perfected about 6 decades ago as Alinsky-Marxist organization (AMO). Alinksky worked for Al Capone and may have learned from his organization. Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were/are AMO students.
Organizers recruit people with vague political encouragements to be disrupters in publically authorized events that stir passions and may lead to violence. The recruits are swept into the moment and sacrifice for causes the organizers promote.

Last year, I was thrilled to sponsor a public library meeting to celebrate the June 21, 1788 establishment of the U.S. as a global nation of 9 states. The 9 states left 4 free and independent states. Some politicians opposed the legal termination of the 1774 Confederation to create the Union. We called our celebration “Responsible Human Liberty Day, 2019.”
For 2020, we revised to “Independence” rather than “Liberty,” recognizing that "liberty, equality, fraternity” can incite bloodletting. The trend in lying is a consequence of the partnership of "social science" and "journalism" schools. We the People of the United States is not fooled by it.
The idea is that the partnership can construct strategic statistics to control public opinion---questions to support the sponsor's intentions, subjects with majority psychologies likely to answer to support the intentions, interviewers trained to demand answers to the questions without the subject's amendments, prejudicial analysis of the interview results, and biased conclusions from the "data".
If the partners can control public opinion, they can control public policy, because the public is too apathetic to develop awareness of the partnership's tyranny. The consequence is that nanny-state politicians are so naïve as to risk exposure as public liars.
I would not call Mr. President Trump a liar, because like everything else in politics, it's a judgement call. I do not have the omniscience and omnipotence of Almighty-God-whatever-that-is, so must admit I don't know. However, I have considered Matthew 7:6 and the awesome responsibility of the Presidency to protect information that is vital to U.S. citizens. "Don’t give to dogs what is [true], and don’t throw your [advantages] to the pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, then turn and attack you."
Journalism is ruined and unlikely to be restored, excepting Byron York for one. Social "science" never was a worthy endeavor: the object of science, a study using ineluctable evidence, is to discover the laws of physics and its progeny such as mathematics, chemistry, biology, psychology, fiction, and religion.

I had written, ” I doubt even five U.S. Congresspersons own an interpretation he or she would like to promote as his or her civic, civil, and legal commitment to fellow citizens. I hope one. . . reader will answer this challenge by promoting his or her interpretation of the preamble to the U.S. Constitution for personal practice.”
U.S. citizens are free to ignore the U.S. Preamble’s proposition for civic integrity, and you exercise that freedom.

About 2,400 years ago, a Greek suggested, in my interpretation, that humans can connect for equity under statutory justice. The Greek’s name is not important, because my interpretation is an attempt to create a statement that I am willing to commit to and offer to you for consideration as an agreement that would support your path to the happiness you want for you and not prevent my path to happiness for me as I perceive happiness.
I don’t think the Greek was a Christian, but that does not matter. (However, Jesus said: Before Abraham, I am. For all I know, Jesus made himself known to the Greek 2,400 years ago.)
Regardless, we don’t need to know the Greek’s name to reach an agreement to equity under statutory justice. Likewise, “the founders” have no bearing on our negotiation for our individual happiness-preferences. Not one of them knew you or me. They could not imagine the lives we live.
The authors of the U.S. preamble offer a civic, civil, and legal proposition that fulfills that Greek suggestion. It is intended for you and me, not them. Let’s use it for our lives.
