Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual equality: For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase it for my interpretation of its proposal as follows: "The good People of these" united states facilitate and encourage five civic disciplines---integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity, "in order to” develop responsible human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity.”I want to improve my interpretation by listening to other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787, text, unless it is amended by the people.

It seems the Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who collaborate for human justice.

Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.

The human infant is totally unaware of the happiness they prefer. Their parents or caretakers share opinion about the happiness they could seek, having no idea of the future the infant faces.

With encouragement&facilitation, the person develops from infancy to maturity personal opinion about the happiness they want rather than the image anyone else has for them.

This is to show the consequence of an individual accepting 1) that they are a unique human-being, 2) that they have the opportunity to develop humble-integrity by which to measure their honesty, and 3) that their purpose is to perfect their unique person before their body&mind stop functioning. Half of that half-century I was married to my wonderful wife, whom I have wooed for 53 years. Again, I did not know it at first, but her serene-confidence attracted me to her. I attended pre-Cana, bought a Catholic Catechism book, and attended both Mass and Baptist services for about 2 decades, never attending communion (to this day).

Three decades ago, I thought it would be nice to attend with my family, and approached a monsignor, whose homilies I enjoyed, and asked him to provide me a wafer in Remembrance rather than Transubstantiation. After several weeks of discussion, he concluded that he loved the Church too much to bend its rules. I would have to convert to Catholicism. If not, we had no reason to meet again. The next and last time I saw him, I struck up a conversation about baseball.

My wife&I formed a spouse hood on mutual trust&commitment, not to change each other. She maintained fidelity in self-interest and so did I. Thereby, I discovered how fortunate I am that none of those Protestant girls I courted accepted me. They could not accept me as I was, but my wife did, and I am the luckiest man alive: comprehending Phil Beaver and appreciating Cynthia is still in progress.

I don’t know the-ineluctable-truth, but it seems to me this world is on a journey toward statutory justice. That is to say, as the-human-beings discover injustice to fellow citizens they carefully improve their-written law-enforcement-system so as to approach statutory justice. If so, this is not a world of terrible injustice.

Fellow-citizens who accept that they are human-beings behave and encourage&facilitate reform to dissident fellow-citizens. Being a human-being requires responsible-independence in order to personally develop humble-integrity. This is because neither the source of creation nor the government will usurp the fellow-citizen’s opportunity to develop responsible-human-independence (RHI). There will always be fellow-citizens who do not accept RHI as a self-interest and consequently develop dependency such as crime, tyranny, or worse against fellow-citizens.

The fellow-citizen who constrains chaos in their way of living can live happily in this world, because there are many fellow-citizens who are likewise responsibly pursuing the happiness they desire rather than submitting to the vision someone else has for them. Constraining chaos in life seems personally appealing, whereas self-discipline seems like an imposition.

Additionally, appreciation seems more appealing than love of fellow-citizens or other entities that deserve privacy. Even agape is unappealing to the subject who does not feel worthy. However, appreciation is desired when it is earned.

These principles are not at all new. Agathon, in Plato’s “Symposium”, about 460 BC, suggested, in my 2021 view: The civic fellow-citizen neither initiates nor accommodates injury to-or-from any human-being. When injury occurs, the civic citizen does all they can do to repair or restore the injury and aids to amend the system so that it does not re-occur.

With 2/3 of fellow-citizens constraining chaos in their personal ways of living rather than accommodating infidelity, an achievable better future would emerge.

I am attentive-to and will share my opinion to the question, “Under law, should great apes be treated as persons?” “Persons” is key to my interest and a suggestion I will articulate: Should a human-being who has earned the death penalty be treated as a person?

Apes should be treated not as persons, but as animals.

The human-being accepts the necessity&justice to pursue responsible-personal-independence (RPI) and is thereby developing a person. Other great apes have not the human individual power, individual energy, and individual authority (HIPEA) to develop the humble-integrity required for RPI.

Psychological evolution follows physical evolution, and within Anthrapoidea evolution, genus Gorilla divided about 10 million years ago, then genus Pan 7 million years ago, leaving hominins. Not every human-being accepts their responsibilities-to necessity&justice. Persons (the people) behave to constrain opponents-to necessity&justice and to encourage&facilitate their reform. Uninformed as I am, I think people who behave as an opposite of human-being---animal, plant, mineral, or metaphysic entity---ought not be counted as a person.

One other point, derived from your reference “under law”. The-law your question suggest derives from physics and its progeny including psychology. Human legal-constructs attempt to use metaphysics to skip the hard work of discovering the-ineluctable-truth.

The system in the U.S. is laughable: Legislators attempt to hold their opinions as worthy of debate and the nine judges debate obsolete precedent to represent their majority-vote as supreme. The human-being is too powerful for this legislative&judicial tyranny. The-ineluctable-evidence is that in only 234 years, “We the People of the United States” has accommodated the development of chaos in the U.S. The notion that “the rule of law” can undo physics is as obsolete at John-Locke-English-philosophy.

I think “freedom” is misleading in that it is a condition that is granted to a human-being under any of arbitrary-authority, coercion, or force. I think the human condition at birth is dependence-to-live and independence-to-develop the newborn’s person during life. Unfortunately few families and almost no cultures operate under that principle.

The predominant civilizations inculcate lifelong-pursuit of a higher power that would usurp the person’s ineluctable opportunity to responsible self-interest. In reality, there is no entity that usurps the individual’s opportunity. Responsible-human-independence (RHI) springs from the human-being’s acceptance of the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to acquire&practice humble-integrity to the-ineluctable-truth. Under the vagaries of physics&its-progeny, many persons who discover HIPEA use it for crime.

In a culture that encourages&facilitates RHI, civic-citizens who practice humble-integrity influence dissidents to reform and pay the bills to execute and improve statutory justice, eventually approaching perfect law-enforcement.

People who develop and practice RHI are atypical in this strange world, yet we often encounter such people. They cannot articulate the excellence they are living because it has not been promoted . . . before.

I don’t think so, except as a metaphysical utopia, neither of which seems reliable.

Humankind, is controlled by physics&its-progeny. That is to say the laws of physics control psychology, including deception.

Physics produces some individuals so alike they may be grouped as a species, for example, the genus cat is in the animal species. However, within the species there are statistical variations, and every cat is unique.

Humans are in a class with apes, but have the distinction of language&grammar by which to responsibly pursue private happiness. For example, many 2021 “ourselves and our Posterity” privately&publically behave for necessity&justice and vote for fellow-citizens who encourage&facitlitate responsible-human-independence (RHI). They accept being human and thereby having the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to develop the humble-integrity needed for RHI.

But not every fellow-citizen accepts being human. Some use RHI to develop infidelity to the self-interest of humble-integrity. Because of the statistical variations in physics and its progeny, biology&psychology, there will always be a need to constrain criminals and facilitate their reform.

I speculate that the current inhabitants are split about 1/6 developing humble-integrity, 1/12 developing crime, and ¾ bemused by collective distractions from RHI, such as the liberty bestowed by the victor in war or elections. If each individual would decide to develop fidelity to the-ineluctable-truth rather than accommodate infidelity to self, the inhabitants might become split by thirds and fellow-citizens who encourage&facilitate RHI might develop to 2/3, achieving a possible better future.

Developments after that might approach a culture of RHI, but there may always be a need for statutory justice.

The decision to constrain chaos in public&private way of living distinguishes the individual in their local culture as well as on earth.

I write daily to persuade people to consider 4 documents regarding responsible-human-independence (RHI).

First, Genesis 1, verses 26-28, assert in ancient expressions, sandwiched between the dinosaur die-off and the discovery of their fossils, that humankind is independently responsible for order&peace on earth. I like to say, constrain chaos on earth---chaos like paying taxes to people who support child-labor perpetrators. Necessity&justice demand RHI.

Second, the USA’s declaration of independence from England cites physics&its-source as human authority on earth. It disparages English oppression but does not attack its religion. It separates state from church yet expresses humble-integrity toward both physics&its-progeny and the unknown cause of physics’ laws. In 1776, it cites military might as “the Supreme Judge of the world”. In 1778 the USA negotiated France’s military providence, and it was key to victory at Yorktown, VA in 1781.

Third, having won independence, the USA was not managing domestic politics and could not expect global success as 13 free&independent states. Therefore, delegates met to strengthen the Union, and the result was specification of the United States.

The U.S. is predicated on 5 public disciplines “in order to” encourage&facilitate RHI “to ourselves and our Posterity”. The 5 disciplines are integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity. Religion is not among the disciplines. “Liberty” is license granted by the victor in war or elections rather than RHI. Too often liberty meant drawing fellow-citizen’s blood.

Fourth, the first U.S. Congress unconstitutionally initiated U.S. dependency on religion. First, they hired Protestant chaplains to serve Congress’s perception of divinity on par with the English Parliament’s constitutional partnership with Canterbury. Second, they created an unconstitutional religion-Congress partnership in the First Amendment. The U.S. Supreme Court joined the tyranny as recently as Greece v Galloway (2014). Currently, the U.S. government uses dependency on religion to tyrannize U.S. citizens.

If you live in the U.S., what you can do is lobby to amend the First Amendment so that it promotes RHI rather than legalizes religious opinion. If not, create a similar public action toward RHI in your country. If a citizen does not support RHI, prevent their election or appointment to public offices---local, state, and federal. If an officer does not demonstrate support for RHI, vote them out.

Maybe it’s an honest expression of an ultimatum they haven’t the integrity to articulate. The human-being has always been constrained to responsibly earn their way of living among fellow-citizens. Too many people look to the-God to take their responsibility for the-good.

Briefly, necessity&justice demand that the individual human-being constrain chaos in their lives. A 4 to 5 thousand year old record of an evolutionary expression is in Genesis 1:26-28, in my view. In the year 2021, we know the suggestion developed in less than 300,000 years, probably after 2.8 million years’ necessity&early-death, but certainly not 65 million years ago, when dinosaurs had not begun their die-off. That is to say, the human-being in 2021 knows more than the Genesis 1 views, but has yet to grasp its message: constrain chaos in your way of living.

The human-being who practices integrity retains the two 3-year-old’s conversation: “What’s that?” followed by “I don’t know” when that is so. A polite equivocation of “I don’t know” is “I understand.”

I understand Karl Marx (d. 1883) predicted that the worker would eventually overthrow the elites. That may be what the cancel-culture intends by taking the liberty to stonewall the opposition.

Liberty is too often mob-license to draw fellow-citizens’ blood; brotherhood is the mob’s violence; and fidelity to the mob is voluntary slavery. That was 1789 France. Violence has become more sophisticated, through European Marxism, South-American liberation-theology, and Alinsky ego-centrism.

Saul Alinsky (d. 1972) devised forms of violence that did not draw blood. For example, recruit enough soldiers to occupy every toilet at O’Hare Airport and agree on an hour and minute of activation; then inform the mayor of the organization’s demands.

Liberation theology developed in 1928 in Peru, and evolved in the U.S. as black liberation theology in the 1950s and 60s through Malcolm X (assassinated 1965), James H. Cone (d. 2018), and not to exclude Muhammad Ali (d. 2016). For all I know, the Ethiopian Tewahedo Bible Canon (360 AD) is older than the Catholic canon, and I doubt its interpretation has God’s people white-skinned.

The assassination of M.L. King, Jr. in 1968 is a mystery that has festered during the last 5 decades as what I call Alinsky-Marxist organizations: a coalition of recruited soldiers will overthrow the elites by psychological-violence. Necessity&justice demand every human-being to develop the humble-integrity by which to accept being a human-being rather than a skin-colored entity. The people who want the mutual, comprehensive safety&security in which to responsibly pursue the happiness they prefer rather than accommodate and organization’s vision for them cannot enslave themselves to someone else’s cause.

Responsible-human-independence cannot be obtained by dependency. The human-being is constrained to earn the responsible way of living they prefer plus pay the taxes that are necessary&just to maintain safety&security.

A reader may ask for a recommended people’s action. We, the 2021 “ourselves and our Posterity” must amend the First Amendment, in order to encourage and facilitate civic humble-integrity rather than civil religious-opinion.

Responsible female&male-human-being does not conceive when infanticide is in the embryo’s best interest. In other words, the ovum deserves the appreciation&dignity of protection from unwanted fertilization. Unfortunately, not all adolescents and adults are responsible to physics&its-progeny, such as biology and psychology.

Necessity&justice demand that the human-being constrain chaos in their way of living. It’s an ineluctable demand, which the individual cannot alienate, suppress, or consign to another being. A person can act like another species---animal, vegetable, mineral, or spirit---but cannot be that something else.

Consequently, the person who accepts that they are a human-being and also intends to develop their person, attends-to physical&psychological wellness so that body&mind support their person and any progeny they may beget. Further, they seek a similarly humble person of the opposite sex to befriend; and if compatible, consider mutual commitment; and if agreeable, pursue bonding; and if positive, consider intimacy; and if successful consider sexual intimacy in marriage, meaning fidelity for life.

A human-being begins as a viable ovum in a woman’s body and a viable spermatozoon in a man’s body. When the woman and man combine the separate cells, the gametes merge into one cell: the beginning of a cell-dividing embryo. The pairing of chromosomes from each gamete, after gestation and delivery by the woman, causes a unique human infant.

The human infant may develop like a-God-facing-death. However, starting from total ignorance, it takes a human-lifetime for an aware&disciplined infant to develop unique perfection of their person.

Caretakers can encourage&facilitate the human-individual to acquire the power, energy, and authority (HIPEA) to perfect their unique person. It takes opportunity during about ¼-century for the individual to acquire the comprehension&intention to develop humble-integrity rather than accommodate infidelity to self. It takes over 1/3-century in service to fellow-citizens to develop responsible-human-independence. It takes the rest of life to observe&articulate, if not express, the-good, in order to approach perfection of the unique self.

In a culture that promotes chaos-constraint in individual ways of living rather than cultivates dependence, the fertile woman is, of necessity&justice constrained to prevent her-ova-exposure to males who are not authentic men. And the fertile man is constrained to reserve intimacy for that authentic woman who will be his mate for life, including their fidelity to their children, grandchildren, and beyond.

Unfortunately, few fellow-citizens practice these principles. Cultures develop banal sexual attractions in order to gain power over people. The victor in war licenses some groups to exploit others. So far, men have controlled military might, and consequently legislators and judges cite tradition to maintain the pretense of control in a woman’s decision to remain pregnant or not.

I cannot think of clearer evidence that “the rule of law” invalidates itself by trying to reverse the laws of physics and it progeny: biology and psychology. The wanton parties in the conception of an unwanted child have behaved unethically respecting necessity&justice to themselves, to the ovum and the spermatozoon, to the embryo, to medical providers, and to fellow-citizens. The legislators, judges, and doctors who, under “the rule of law”, force a woman to remain pregnant when physics assigned her the responsibility to terminate her pregnancy have breached the human obligation to constrain chaos on earth.

The ethical approach to lessening infanticide is to encourage and facilitate responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity” in order to live under humble-integrity rather than with religious-pride.

The social construct I refer to is grounded in the-ineluctable-truth that exists under the laws of physics and its progeny such as psychology. Most of the-ineluctable-truth is unknown, and humankind has two kinds of explorers: those who intend to discover and responsibly use the-ineluctable-truth and those who plan to deceive fellow-citizens of the world for personal gain, such as power or wealth or both.

Explorers and discoverers who intend to aid humankind have no intentions to social constructs: they adhere to the laws of physics and it progeny. The others observe human interest in an imaginary concern and develop a way to utilize that concern for power over the people.

For example, civic-citizens want mutual, comprehensive safety and security so that they and fellow-citizens can pursue the happiness each of them wants rather than submit to the vision someone else has for them. They observe that not everyone lives by this principle, so they necessarily behave to develop statutory justice, or at least earn enough to pay taxes to support law enforcement and its journey toward justice.

The tyrants who support the social contract keep the people bemused so that the originators can maintain control.

Take for example, the 1789 U.S. Congress and its progeny. The 1787 U.S. Constitution, proposes 5 amendable public disciplines---integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity, “in order to” encourage and facilitate responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity”; in keeping with the 1776 declaration of war for independence from church-state-legislation. Like teenaged adolescents, the First Congress had no intention effect the constitution-signers intentions for fellow-citizens to hold Congress accountable, so they re-established Anglo-American church-state-legislation by 1) hiring Congressional chaplains in 1789 and 2) codifying a 1791 religion-Congress-partnership in the First Amendment’s religion clauses. Nothing in humankind’s quest to constrain chaos on earth authorizes the civil-imposition of religion.

However, the erroneous social-construct imposed by Congress, maintained by the U.S. Supreme Court, and used to advantage by U.S. administrations continues to befuddle U.S. citizens so far in 2021. From the USA’s 1782 “E Pluribus Unum” to the U.S.’s 1956 “In God We Trust” to 2021 madness for “diversity” the 1787 U.S., intentions for We the People of the United States to develop necessary justice is side-tracked.

We, the 2021 “ourselves and our Posterity” must demand 5 reforms: 1) Congress to amend the First Amendment so as to encourage and facilitate civic humble-integrity rather than civil religious-pride, 2) inform the Supreme Court that justice is developed on the laws of physics and its progeny rather than on legal opinion (therefore, English precedent is not interesting to U.S. law), 3) order the administration to balance U.S. revenues and payments, because “ourselves” will no longer live high on the hog on posterity’s back, 4) update the preamble to the U.S. Constitution to clarify its essence: the public discipline so that the continuum “ourselves and our Posterity” are empowered to develop statutory justice under responsible-human-independence, and 5) inform fellow-citizens that no one can obtain a license to vote without demonstrating their past support for the U.S. purpose, stated in the updated preamble.

I think it depends upon the individual. Some people think tyranny pays.

The newborn human being has the posture “I don’t know” or “What’s that?”

Eventually the individual may observe&accept (O&A) being a human being. Further, they may O&A human individual power, individual energy, and individual authority (HIPEA) to either develop humble-integrity toward the-ineluctable-truth or to accommodate infidelity to their self. If the former, they maintain “I don’t know” when that is so. If the latter, they believe something rather than wait to discover the-ineluctable-truth.

The person who maintains “I don’t know” may follow with “However, I have earned an opinion” and express it. If so, they hope to learn an improvement on the opinion they hold.

For example, I think it is prudent to reserve sufficient humility toward the-good rather than deny the-good for a personal-God. In other words, it seems alright to develop hope and comfort in a personal-God while reserving the humility the-God may require. I admit that by introducing the article “the” to express singularity, it may seem that I am denying the Trinity. But I am not doing so. I do not know what the-God is.

However, I have earned the opinion that it is not too far from the demand for human necessity&justice. I appreciate the opportunity to constrain chaos in my way of living without trying to define the demand-source.

I think will&reason are individually bemusing. Together they ruin a person’s unique . . . singular . . . chance to establish the humble-integrity that is needed for responsible-human-independence (RHI). RHI is the-good’s purpose.

I think necessity&justice inform each human-being to constrain chaos in their way of living, and the ones who respond develop self-discipline. Developing self-interest, they accept the responsibility of being a human-being. Some human-beings discover their individual power, individual energy, and individual authority (HIPEA) to pursue humble-integrity rather than tolerate&nurture infidelity to themselves. With practice, a few human-beings accept the responsible-happiness they desire and pursue it rather than submit to the vision someone else has for them. Tragically, only a few develop the intention to perfect their-unique-person before death comes.

Perhaps the year 2021’s global-chaos signals the abyss of the human will-to reason that necessity&justice oppose the-good in human living. Political philosophers have, for less than 10 millennia constructed reason to justify elite-tyranny over fellow-citizens. I just now searched “history of tyranny” on https://plato.stanford.edu/ and happily found 2825 documents whereas Google has 30.3 million hits with no key to the top 0.3 million. I can’t wait to select 5 from Plato and study them: 1,2,3,8,&10 or better from the second 10 or beyond. Interestingly, the search “the history of independence” has the same document count. But this takes a back seat to answering questions as profound as yours, Alauig.

I think most philosophers earn their living by serving the “elite sages” who deign to control fellow-citizens for reasons they may or may not comprehend. Often, power is their only motive, and the philosopher merely wants sufficient wealth. But the philosophers&sages are really serving the people who are apathetic to the demands of necessity&justice, uninformed that they are developing infidelity to themselves. It’s no wonder, since the human-culture I described in the second paragraph seems unattainable. But it seems so only because it has never been encouraged&facilitiated.

An intention to RHI is devised and recorded in the 1787 U.S. Constitution. It’s amend-ability by posterity to the 1776 founders’ “good People of these Colonies” plus its abstract preamble proffer a people’s proposition. In my view: the continuum We the People of the United States commit-to and trust-in 5 public disciplines---integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity, “in order to” encourage&facilitate responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity”. The document excludes religion from the disciplines. It is up to a posterity to appreciate “independence”, a human duty rather than “liberty”, license bestowed by the war-victor. Perhaps it will be the “ourselves” of 2021. I hope so.

So far, past generations have allowed will&reason to lessen if not ruin their descendants’ chances for necessity&justice----living according to the-good.

Absolutely, I think.

The people who want peace must accept the human challenge, posed by necessity&justice, to constrain chaos in their way of living and encourage&facilitate reform to the people who tolerate infidelity in their lives.

When 2/3 of the population is constraining chaos in their lives, an achievable better future will emerge, and humankind will approach peace, I think.

There will always by tyrants who think war&violence rewards them. The people who demand peace must identify and constrain them.

Same thing with criminals. Somehow, there will always be a few who think crime pays, and they must suffer the statutory justice they invite, in order to codify to them their self-interest in constraining chaos in their way of living instead of nurturing infidelity to themselves.

I am changing my recent statement to: The civic-citizen neither initiates nor encourages&supports injury to or from any person or association. You convinced me to replace “tolerates” with “encourages&supports”. There is no way I would want to influence you to tolerate rather than appreciate your fine parents.

A 13-year old must rely on his parents to preserve his chance at life through the first quarter-century. It takes that long for a male body to complete the construction of his brain. The last elements to be completed are the wisdom-building parts, which uses the accumulation of past experiences and observations to begin to build the grounds for personal choices that are consistent with their unique person. With encouragement&facilitation, parents should aid their children’s acceptance of responsible-human-independence and intention to take charge at about age 30-35 or so, giving the completed brain a few years more experiences&observations on which to initiate the development of wisdom. Soon afterwards, he should be ready to become a father.

So many children die young or lose their opportunity to develop their person, because their parents were not aware of what it takes to transition from a newborn infant to a young adult with the comprehension and intention to live a psychologically complete human lifetime. This discovery has been in the literature for about 30 years, but it is not widely shared.

Modern parents are not to blame, because most cultures do not encourage&facilitate development of humble-integrity to “ourselves and our Posterity”, quoting the preamble to the U.S. Constitution. Instead, cultures inculcate dependency on the-God-of-creation or government to usurp responsible-human-independence. But neither the-God nor government will steal the individual’s opportunity to perfect their unique person (responsibly-perfect would be redundant). But keep in mind that responsibility marks acceptance of being human.

Hear this: I do not know the-ineluctable-truth, and am only expressing my opinion, with no awareness of the history leading to your question. The government expects your parents to attend to your welfare. While you are considered an adult at age 18 and can vote at 21, hopefully your parents expect your body to complete its tools for wisdom at age 25. Therefore, they are going to suffer anxiety about your safety&security perhaps until age 35 or beyond. I don’t know if the two licensing ages, 18, and 21, should be changed.

Addressing your question, read the preamble, and realize that “ourselves and our Posterity” is the continuum of families and immigrants since 1787, even though the nation represses that fact. Ponder how that impacts your view of U.S. citizenship. Then read Kahlil Gibran’s poem “On Children”; https://poets.org/poem/children-1. Appreciate it with Gibran’s religious expressions. Then write in in your own words to reflect the demands of civic necessity&justice. By “civic” I mean, for example, connections between parents and the dignified persons whom they parent. Somewhere between the ages 3 and about 7, a child needs encouragement&facilitation to accept responsible-human-independence. Unfortunately most cultures erroneously inculcate their young to seek higher power---the-God of creation (whatever that is), their government, or, not so much, their fellow-citizens.

Physics and its progeny, including biology and psychology, control the-ineluctable-truth. Necessity&justice demand female&male-human-being to constrain chaos on earth. Every human-being has the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to either develop their unique person or tolerate infidelity to self. With intentions&action to perfect their person, they may become a-God-facing-death.

In the process or journey, they may err in discerning the-ineluctable-truth. Or they may take an arbitrary opinion rather than cling to “I don’t know” when they don’ t know. For example, a civic-citizen never lies, so as to avoid the predictable consequence: human misery and loss. Without proper coaching against lies, a person may fall prey once. The key to perfection is not to repeat a mistake; avoid making the mistake a habit.

I think it depends on the speaker. Speakers who propose equality are tyrants, and listeners who accept the promise are gullible.

DNA evidences that every human being is unique, so equality is a metaphysical-political topic. Since each human-being is unique, consequence of their choices, by civic necessity&justice is theirs. And that’s equity. For example, the person who claims distinction on skin-color or shade has not chosen to be a human-being in the world. Uniqueness begins with the viable ovum in a singular woman, and none of the events toward development of a human-being lessens the uniqueness.

People who want the power to pick other peoples’ pockets have learned that the equality/equity debate bemuses many people. It doesn’t have to be that way. The sooner most people are aware of the ruse, the sooner fellow-citizens will lessen that particular tyranny.

I think Genesis 1:27-28 is a 4500 year-old political philosophy suggesting that the entity female&male-human-being is capable and responsible to independently constrain chaos on earth. In 2021, the suggestion seems driven by necessity&justice yet substantially ignored.

I name female first, because she may deliver 400 viable ova during her fertile years. Also, her nature is caring for many (my wife had 3 toddlers and me, taught elementary school, and served her birth family and the community).

The mature male assists her and their progeny for life. Unfortunately, I feared my career as chemical engineer and missed a lot of joy, even as I am the most fortunate person I know. She’s 80 now, and applying lotion to her lower-legs is a fantastic experience. Why didn’t I know that when we were young? Prude?

One of the first things I learned after our marriage was consummated is this: If I approached my wife to make love and she said, “Not tonight” I could not keep an erection. When I pondered that, I was pleased that her “no” turned me off. One time in 51 years of marriage I persuaded her with the statement, “It’s true, we can make love tomorrow night, but why miss the joy of tonight.” She said, “That’s so cute. How can I resist?”

A couple we enjoyed for decades wanted to carry their argument about having sex to us. I responded, “In the first case, we rarely “have sex”. We appreciate each other, in other words, we make love.”

I may give the impression that this is all about me. However, everything good about me is my wife’s fault. I did not know it when I courted her, but my attraction to her was due to her serene confidence and wit. For the first quarter century I could not articulate that, and she did not divorce me. However, early on, I would say, “Cynthia, you are so beautiful” and she would respond, “I know. I know. You’re talking about my person rather than my looks” confident I was talking both.

I exaggerate a little. For example, I stayed true to my person, not converting to her Louisiana-French Catholicism. However, I discovered my person and dropped out of So. Baptism and Christianity altogether. I would not have discovered Phil Beaver if I had not fallen in love with Cynthia.

I can’t imagine feeling about a man as I do about my wife. Nor can I imagine bringing children who might prefer heterosexual family into a homosexual family. However, if partners form bonds and commit to care for each other for life, I celebrate their mutual appreciation and don’t need/want to question them. They should be able to take civil responsibility and benefits in caring for each other.

I don’t know what to say about homosexual’s obligations to constrain chaos in their lives, as suggested in Genesis-1. However, if I wanted to form a homosexual family, I’d resolve my concerns before expanding beyond the partnership. As I write, I know not how I could form a homosexual family.

Conjugal societies with multiple intimacies, such as polyamory, invite woe. Woe seems reliable.

I think so. Most people don’t want to risk entrepreneurship, especially invention of new products or services that would aid the lives of some people.

For example, I have arthritis and don’t go to the doctor about it, because a yoga instructor taught us to massage poor-yoga-injured joints. The art is to find the pain and massage harder there. It takes about 6 months to heal one joint. But you can massage as many joints as you have time for.

It works for trigger-finger as well. Just find the loop that is binding your ligaments, massage to find the pain, then massage as hard as you can stand less 20%. Trigger finger therapy works faster. Maybe 1 month at 5 minutes per day massaging.

I would benefit from a low-cost massage device that could find the pain and increase force just enough to cure without me screaming. If I were to set about inventing such a therapeutic device, I would expect profit to pay back the risks and time from my life I took.

But I prefer to live the life I have rather than try to invent the machine I’d like to own at an affordable price. Consequently, people who suffer arthritis as I do won’t have the chance to benefit from my idea.

If someone took up the cause, taking the risks and time from living, I would gladly pay the profit margin to reward them for doing what I will not do. In other words, part of their task is to keep the required price low enough to accommodate a reasonable profit margin. Otherwise, I won’t buy what I’d like to own.

I think so. Some people are beginning to perceive that mutual, comprehensive safety&security (hereafter Security) is in their self-interest. In other words, expecting a future with God-bestowed humble-integrity does not serve “ourselves and our Posterity”. We the People of the United States (and other nations) must establish responsible-human-independence now.

For example, in the 1787 USA, perhaps 99% of free-colonial-citizens were factional-American Protestants with almost 1% Catholics. Today, perhaps 1/3 of U.S. citizens think there’s something in control, are too prudent be arrogant toward it, and therefore do not attend a church. Call it the-God, to avoid the common practice of 2 parties finding some agreement about God without realizing they believe in totally different entities.

I think there’s emerging acceptance by most middle-class human-beings to practice necessity&justice in the march toward Security; assuring the lifetime-opportunity to pursue the humble-integrity that is necessary to develop responsible-human-independence.

In other words, the majority female&male-human-being is beginning to accept responsibility to constrain chaos in personal living by their person. No one is articulating this development, because the powers that emerged are competing for dominance, each bemusing the people with constantly changing jargon.

On the one hand, according to Machiavelli, in “The Prince”, Chapter XI, religion is expected to eventually build enough wealth to dissolve its partnership with state. On the other hand, monopolistic entrepreneurs are lessening the state’s power through dominant wealth, squeezing religion out. Both parties appeal to civic-individuals’ noble motives, such as either love-of-God or passion-for the politically weak. Believers don’t realized that God is not their church’s doctrinal-God but is the-God of control, perhaps physics&its-progeny. The first lesson of necessity&justice is that for survival, the human-being must responsibly-earn the lifestyle they want to live. The consequence of this battle for wealth is that the middle-class is being enslaved and murdered in the transition from capitalism to socialism. It’s too shocking to admit, let alone accept and resist. But it is essential to defeat the inevitable ruin of socialism.

The only person who can stop the state’s abdication to wealth is the individual in the middle class and its fringes and outliers. Here’s a plan with 5 initial actions.

About 5 centuries ago, methods of research were being developed and humankind did not appreciate that the-inevitable-truth can be discovered only with accurate and precise instruments of perception. Accepted discoveries sometimes had to be revised as new instruments of perception were invented. Some thinkers posited that rational thinking was more reliable than research-results; metaphysics seemed more powerful than physics. However, with human-beings exploring the planets, religion is proving a failure, and the people have not yet filled the void.

I’m suggesting that the action to take is to use physics&its-progeny, especially biology&psychology, to behave in necessity&justice. If religion privately-aids an individual to the humble-integrity needed for responsible-human-independence, that’s good.

When scholars set out to prove something, they often overlook that the customer is buying to learn something.

Whether the authors do or not, this book overlooks Machiavelli's 1213 "The Prince", Chapter XI, which asserts ironically that politicians who partner with the church get to join high-on the hog living, because the people are inculcating in their children the hope that their-God will relieve them of the church-state-burden. Machiavelli says it takes a fool to try to influence that, but then gives an example. In the example, the church gains so much power and wealth that they dissolve the partnership.

America declared independence from England, lost confidence in victory, brought France in for military providence, and won independence. Then, the U.S. proffered a people's proposition for public discipline in order to develop responsible-human-independence (RHI): the-good of national independence. Unfortunately, the first Congress un-constitutionally enacted and codified restoration of the Anglo-American factional-Protestant-legislative partnership, mimicking Canterbury-Parliament legislation.

The USA 1782 motto "E Pluribus Unum" morphed to "In God We Trust" in 1956 U.S. For the USA, English economic and religious oppression dominated American colonialism. When the colonies rebelled, their declaration clarified that the-God answers prayers of "the Good people of these Colonies", affirming that the motto applies in religion as well as in politics.
