Beware traitorous personal opinion

Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on the-objective-truth, which can only be discovered. The comment box below invites readers to write.

"Civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for individual happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or society.

Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual equality:  For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase it for my proposal as follows: “We a civic people of the united states, in order to encourage individual responsibility for integrity, justice, peace, defense, and prosperity so as to secure human liberty for now and for the future, pursue statutory justice in the USA..” I want to collaborate with the other citizens on this paraphrase and theirs yet would preserve the original, 1787, text, unless it is amended by the people.

It seems no one has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who collaborate for human justice.

Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.

Selected theme from this week

Beware traitorous personal opinion

Perhaps social democrats like a New Orleans doctor use whatever-God-is and emotions to urge fellow citizens to submit our borders to the attack being created by foreign powers, “philanthropic” organizations, and churches.

The consequence of 231 years’ obfuscation of the U.S. preamble’s proposition portend a more ruinous future for U. S. children, grandchildren and beyond as well as for legal immigrants. Fellow citizens cannot look to whatever-God-is or personal passions as surrogate for individual collaboration for statutory justice under the U.S. preamble: justice comes only from individual behaviors in mutual connections and transactions.

The U.S. preamble proposes that citizens collaborate on five public provisions---Union, Justice, Tranquility, defense, and Welfare---so as to encourage individual responsible human liberty to living and future citizens---not to illegal aliens. Fellow citizens who prefer, based on their God or their passions to favor illegal aliens are at best dissidents to the U.S. preamble’s proposition with its humility toward whatever-God-is and perhaps traitors to collaboration for mutual, comprehensive safety and security.

Their treachery perhaps extends to the illegal aliens.

Letters-to-an-editor

A fellow citizen who is too ignorant to be embarrassed (Wallace Jenfreau, physician) (https://www.theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/letters/article_bf8a911e-6790-11e9-85c0-7b680a60b11a.html)

Physicians are not immune from Aristotelian civic responsibility to comprehend, trust-in, and commit-to U.S. civic-citizenship. U.S. citizenship is distinguished by a civic, civil, and legal agreement to collaborate for responsible human liberty, and many legal immigrants articulate the proposition. They do not come here to experience or practice crime.

About 2500 years ago, Pericles suggested that humans collaborate for equity under statutory justice (my paraphrase). The U.S., in 1787 or 232 years ago, suggested an institution whereby imperfect statutory law may be amended as injustice is discovered so as to continually march toward perfection in responsible human liberty to living and future fellow citizens.

Unique among living species, humans have the individual power, energy, and authority (HIPEA) to personally develop either integrity or infidelity to the-objective-truth. The community may apply coercion and force to encourage individuals to develop integrity, but HIPEA is foremost in his or her developed behavior. Some fellow citizens think crime pays, and in different countries, the proportion of criminals varies with comprehension, promotion, and practice of Pericles’ principle.

In this nation, Pericles’ principle is given details to clarify self-discipline of by and for the people. The U.S. preamble offers each citizen the proposition to collaborate for integrity, justice, peace, defense, and prosperity so as to encourage responsible human liberty to living and future citizens (my paraphrase). Fortunate is the child of parents who trust-in and commit-to the U.S. preamble’s proposition, whether they live here or not.

Under the U.S. preamble’s proposition, parents are committed to monogamy for life, because they want to take responsibility to provide for human liberty to “posterity” including their children, grandchildren, and beyond as well as future fellow citizens. In other words, civic citizens do not lie so as to lessen human misery and loss. Under the U.S. preamble’s proposition, the entire family always knows they are collaborating for living and future fellow citizens. (Incidentally, with U.S. success, the world has an example of responsible human liberty by which to model their particular Pericles’ principle.)

We work to re-establish the U.S. preamble’s proposition after 231 years’ obfuscation by congressional regimes that began in 1789-1793 by re-establishing colonial-British traditions like legislative prayer at the people’s expense and a political regime that pays elites enough to keep the poor in poverty. (Attend our sixth annual celebration of June 21, 1788, when nine states established the USA: “Responsible Liberty Day” Thursday June 20 at 7:30 PM until 9:30 PM, Goodwood Library, Conference Room A.)

We hope that within a few years, at least 70% of fellow citizens are practicing the U.S. preamble’s proposition and a physician would be too aware to support illegal immigration. Let refugees approach the U.S. legally and rebuke foreign powers, such as the Vatican, that defy and philanthropically attack U.S. civic citizens.

A civic prejudice (Walter Williams) (https://www.dailysignal.com/2019/05/01/what-the-left-gets-wrong-about-racial-disparities/)

My local rag captioned this text “Prejudice isn’t the only factor at work in society” using two words I suspect as part of social democracy’s language: prejudice and society. Also, Williams introduces me to a phrase: social demeanor.

Merriam-Webster online (MW) informs me that “demeanor” is “behavior toward others,” and google adds that facial expression is included in behavior or conduct. Reverting to “social behavior,” google informs “behavior . . . taking place between, members of the same species.” Now I am constrained to comprehend “species.” MW informs “a category of biological classification ranking immediately below the genus or subgenus, comprising related organisms or populations potentially capable of interbreeding, and being designated by a binomial that consists of the name of a genus followed by a Latin or latinized uncapitalized noun or adjective agreeing grammatically with the genus name.” My ignorance is unlimited, but I think it is time to express my thoughts.

I like the phrases “a civic citizen” and “a civic culture” and “civic integrity”, wherein “civic” means collaborating to develop responsible human liberty under the-objective-truth. I oppose “social” or “civilized” or “cooperative” or “subjugated” or other terms that imply submission to an intellectual construct, many of which oppose the-objective-truth.

A civic culture offers an agreement under which fellow citizens voluntarily collaborate for statutory justice, a worthy, unattainable goal. Statutory justice changes with the unfolding of the universe, and the civic culture amends statutory law as injustice is discovered. In civic integrity, fellow citizens bring injustice to public attention, examine the claims using the-objective-truth, and amend statutory law so as to conform to the agreement. When discovery has not yet un-hidden the-objective-truth, the law is amended so as to favor mutual, comprehensive safety and security to living fellow citizens.

Since dead citizens cannot collaborate in the civic culture, their views are not considered beyond 1) awareness of past mistakes and 2) determination not to make them habits or traditions. Children, grandchildren and beyond plus legal immigrants may improve the amendment as necessary based on discovery or new facts that modify understanding of the-objective-truth. In other words, living citizens are obligated to each other to avoid past error and more than to future citizens.

In the USA, the agreement for equity under law is offered in the preamble to the U.S. Constitution (the U.S. preamble). Willing citizens collaborate to provide integrity, justice, peace, defense, and prosperity so as to encourage responsible human liberty now and in the future. Integrity demands the use of the-objective-truth, so the U.S. preamble is an adequate civic, civil, and legal agreement. Public issues may be ordered under the five collaborative provisions that encourage responsible individual liberty.

The 52 words of the U.S. preamble is the world’s most powerful political sentence. Unfortunate is the citizen who has not considered it; does not understand it; has not paraphrased it according to his or her preferences; does not treasure responsible human liberty. Frederick Douglass treasured it in 1852 when he spoke before the president of the U.S. against the domestic slave trade that civic citizens in 1787-88 could not prevent and left to future citizens to terminate. I have yet to read modern approval of Douglass referring to himself as “fellow citizen.” I learned the phrase from his speech and cherish it. Even the criminal is to me a fellow citizen who needs reform or perhaps relief from the misery of his or her inhuman guilt.

I dream to read Williams or Sowell or other writers and discover they are using phrases not unlike responsible human liberty; and collaboration for statutory justice under the U.S. preamble’s proposition; and the-objective-truth; and civic integrity; and individual happiness with civic integrity; and mutual, comprehensive safety and security.

Colonial-British alien writing in America (Rich Lowry) (https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2019/04/24/the-greatest-show-on-earth-226741)

“. . . it’s hard to imagine any potential target of impeachment in Anglo-American history relishing the fight more than Trump.”

Anglo-American? It’s hard to tolerate writers who alienate Americans. The offense by Lowry deserves examination on par with someone caught yelling “Fire” in a crowded building. Some “scholarly” writers promote ignorance. Anglo-American, 1776: the Roman Republic (509-27 BC) used impeachment to control ethics in the senate.

The preamble to the U.S. Constitution (the U.S. preamble) is intended to add psychosocial independence from England to the political separation from England that was accomplished when France crossed the ocean that physically separates us from England to include Yorktown, VA, 1781, as another battle in France’s second hundred years war with England. France created the strategy and furnished nearly 30,000 military personnel to America’s 11,000 against 9,000 English with contract soldiers. As a consequence of France’s victory, recognition of our independence as 13 free and independent states is called the 1783 Treaty of Paris.

Nine of the 13 states established the USA on June 21, 1788 with a purpose some politicians could not tolerate. The U.S. preamble proposes that every citizen collaborate for integrity, justice, peace, defense, and prosperity (five collaborative provisions) in order to encourage responsible human liberty for living and future citizens. Only the human being has the awareness and grammar by which to collaborate for responsible liberty.

The U.S. preamble’s proposition---responsible human liberty---may be promoted virally. An achievable better future may be evident when 2/3 of inhabitants are collaborating on the above mentioned five provisions.

We the People of the United States are physically and politically independent of England. Let’s use the U.S. preamble and the-objective-truth to grant ourselves psychological independence from colonial-English dominance.

Let’s celebrate national independence commemorating 1776 each July 4th, but moreover celebrate Responsible Liberty Day for every citizen on each June 21. Let's commemorate ratification of the U.S. preamble’s proposition and the establishment of the USA in 1788.

A career complainer (George Will) (https://triblive.com/opinion/george-will-politicians-have-no-qualms-about-borrowing-from-the-future/)

A journalist educates readers. Will complains.

In 232 years under the preamble to the U.S. Constitution, “we, the people” developed abject failure, expecting the USA or Whatever-God-Is to save posterity: children, grandchildren and beyond with legal immigrants.

Many people hope government or God provides responsible human liberty. The U.S. preamble’s proposition is:  Willing people collaborate for Union, Justice, Tranquility, defense, and Welfare, to encourage human liberty to living and future citizens.

I hope Will joins We the People of the United States---civic citizens who practice and promote the U.S. preamble’s proposition: responsible human liberty.

Erroneously speaking for Louisiana? (Editor’s views) (https://triblive.com/opinion/george-will-politicians-have-no-qualms-about-borrowing-from-the-future/)

“. . . Louisiana has always felt itself somewhat apart from the parvenu United States that took possession in the early 1800’s . . . “

If I understand “parvenu” the editors wrote that Louisianans have always felt they were in the lower U.S. class.

Anytime an entity tries to convince people to accept low status I hold the well-earned opinion that an enterprise is trying to pick the listener’s pocket. I adamantly oppose The Advocate’s freedom of the press and Louisiana government.

Every citizen in Louisiana has the human individual power, energy, and authority (HIPEA) to develop integrity. Every citizen may resist both government and the press to accept responsible human liberty. Accepting responsible liberty is the key to trusting-in and committing-to the U.S. preamble as the proposition on which fellow U.S. citizens collaborate for mutual, comprehensive safety and security.

With 2/3 of Louisianans practicing the U.S. preamble’s proposition, personnel of both The Advocate and state government would individually decide to collaborate for equity as fellow citizens under the U.S. preamble or be either fired or unelected.

An achievable better future exists for fellow citizens who accept responsible human liberty under the U.S. preamble. Let’s get started.

Quora

https://www.quora.com/unanswered/Is-culture-needed-for-a-functional-society-why-or-why-not?

Culture is needed to encourage each newborn human and to constrain the ones who choose dissent rather than collaboration to discover the-objective-truth.

Humankind is on a slow march in the discovery of statutory justice or the perfection of statutory law and its enforcement. This is a necessary cultural development due to the actual reality that humankind is the most aware living species yet began in abject ignorance of the-objective-truth. Each human being is born into a dichotomy: he or she has abject ignorance while humankind knows more than ever before.

Each human has individual power, energy, and authority (HIPEA) to develop either integrity or infidelity to the-objective-truth. Some think crime pays. In a civic culture, the newborn is encouraged to choose civic, civil, and legal integrity so that he or she practices and encourages responsible human liberty. However, at any moment in time and in the various locations with humankind, the balance between civic citizens and dissidents varies.

Only the civic culture encourages responsible human liberty. The U.S., through the U.S. preamble’s proposition offers each newborn the opportunity for responsible human liberty. However, so far, the civic citizens have allowed the political regimes to suppress the U.S. preamble’s proposition.

We work to encourage fellow citizens to adopt the self-discipline encouraged by the U.S. preamble so as to manage (by vote) elected and appointed officials of local, state, and federal governments in order to support and encourage responsible human liberty as specified in the preamble to the U.S. Constitution.

With the U.S. preamble’s culture of independent self-discipline, the USA can become the world’s beacon of hope to be culturally mimicked.

Law professors

The convention’s version of the preamble is objectionable. First, Rhode Island was a dissident or rebel and remained so even after the USA began operating with only eleven states. The version claims self-government rather that self-discipline. The constitution to be signed only required nine state’s ratifications, so writing the totality of either states or inhabitants into the preamble made no sense.

The Committee of Style wrote a proposition about which each citizen could be collaborative, or passive, or dissident, or rebellious, or whatever the individual preferred. However, those who would collaborate intended five provisions—union, justice, tranquility, defence, and welfare—to secure blessings to living and future citizens. The blessing to be secured is human liberty, and “blessing” means encouragement by the providers—those who adopted the U.S. preamble’s proposition.

Rappaport seems well grounded to think the preamble may not be nationalist. Not only is the people not a totality, the people is divided on trust-in and commitment-to the U.S. preamble’s proposition. There will always be people who think deceit and crime pay, but some of them will yield to the law.

What’s needed to reform the U.S. from its present abyss is for 2/3 of the people in every state, every religion, every sport, every professional association, every elected office, every appointed office, indeed in every society, to become fellow citizens under the U.S. preamble’s proposition.

The U.S. preamble’s proposition is dysfunctional without individuals who want responsible human liberty enough to enact it and collaborate for statutory justice—the perfection of statutory law. It matters not whether the people of the nation or the people of a state impose on the individual: Either way, responsible human liberty is impossible.

“. . . the people were enactors under the previous version as well as Morris’s version.” Maybe so, but when Morris added five collaborative provisions in order to encourage liberty to living citizens and future citizens, the U.S. preamble, intentionally or not, became an offer for responsible human liberty. I speculate that the committee in only four days’ time, perhaps starting with the Massachusetts preamble, wrote a precious few words that reflected the product of the convention’s debates.

The people of the past 231 years have left to our generation the privilege of establishing the civic, civil, and legal power of the U.S. preamble. We have an achievable better future to take responsibility for. Let’s get started.

Phil Beaver does not “know.” He trusts in and is committed to the-objective-truth which can only be discovered. Conventional wisdom has truth founded on reason, but it obviously does not work.
