"Civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for individual happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or society.

Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual equality:  For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase it for my interpretation of its proposal as follows:  This good citizen practices the U.S. disciplines---integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity, "in order to” develop responsible human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity.  I want to improve my interpretation by listening to other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787, text, unless it is amended by the people.

It seems the Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who collaborate for human justice.

Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.

Few people think of Albert Einstein as a political philosopher. He advised people not to lie so as to lessen human loss and misery.

The practice of lying is on a lot of people’s minds, due to media cancellations and other press irresponsibility. Additionally, the Democratic Party’s impeachment managers proved themselves failing evidence-fabricators.

The chaos springs from still operative 1791 Congressional tyranny: the First Amendment’s religion-Congress partnership. The “ourselves and our Posterity” of 2021 may revise the Amendment in order to promote civic integrity rather than religious opinion, not only in Congress, but in every political office in the country---local, state, and national offices. And also, do away with the official dodge “. . . so help me God.”

Responsible pursuit of Happiness with metaphysics is a private, adult option rather than a civil imposition. Those who responsibly pursue physical happiness need not bear the metaphysical burden.

One of humankind’s greatest political philosophers obfuscated his thought with three deceptive words: science, religion, and ethics. He actually reasoned about discovery and integrity.

Albert Einstein wrote, “Lying destroys confidence in the statements of other people. Without such confidence, social cooperation is made impossible or at least difficult. Such cooperation, however, is essential to make human life possible and tolerable.”

The point is that the metaphysics of lies produces physics. For example, in Rudyard Kipling’s “The Man Who Would Be King”, the man went along with the tribal men elevating him to God. The women of the village cut his wrist to show the blood. In another example, Saddam Hussein taunted George Bush to invade Iraq with the fact that there were no weapons of mass destruction.

The Democrat Party in the U.S. doesn’t seem to accept Einstein’s advice. The entity We the People of the United States can stop the tyranny by revising the First Amendment so as to protect civic integrity rather than promote religious opinion, not only in Congress, but in all political offices---local, state, and national. The oath add-on “. . . so help me God” is there to shield the official from responsibility.

I think so. The human individual is prudent to reserve sufficient humility toward responsible-human-independence.

Your question brings to mind the John Locke fallacies scholars extol from the 1776 Declaration of Independence: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

The authors claim opinion rather than knowledge. There’s no proof of a Creator (worthy of worship) or a creator (originator whether intelligent or not). And evidence 245 years later points to human equity under statutory justice rather than equality under subjective law. And no government or God guarantees the individual life, liberty, or pursuit of either Happiness (salvation of the soul) or happiness (responsible-human-living).

The reader who considers my points might agree that the quote actually claims that the individual human being is entitled to freedom-from oppression by other humans.

Taking the consideration to 4,000 years ago, in 2021 terms, Genesis 1:27-28 suggests that the female&male human-being is charged to constrain chaos in the universe. The individual who claims the power to assign responsible-human-independence to their personal-God undermines their own human rights and duty.

I think caution is always required when you don’t know the-ineluctable-truth, which is often. Thus, “I don’t know” must become the usual response when you don’t know.

For example, if someone said, “Mike Pence, to witness for the Pence-Jesus, betrayed the Jesus of ‘Before Abraham was born I AM’ when he defied the Commander-in-Chief on January 6, 2021,” it is prudent to respond, “I don’t know.”

The historical Jesus may have said, in 2021 effect:  Before Judeo-Christianity-Islam, the-good existed. We don’t know.

However, it seems Donald Trump acts for the-good anyway. Aware or not, Trump behaves according to Genesis 1:27-28 (again in 2021 and I AM perspective). Trump effects the responsible-human-independence to constrain chaos in the universe.

We, the 2021 “ourselves and our Posterity” must stop the unconstitutional chaos being created by the Democrat Party and the U.S. Supreme Court’s refusal to acknowledge that the Commander in Chief is required under Article II, Section 5 to "take care that the laws be faithfully executed." If the Court does its job, and the-ineluctable-truth is that the election was stolen, there’ll be the question how to replace a rogue administration. I’d immediately restore the Trump administration and reverse all the Biden orders.

This brings me to the dilemma of “I don’t know the-ineluctable-truth” yet must take action. For example, a gun is pointed at you by an intruder, your family is in the house, and you have the means to shoot first. You shoot the intruder. Similarly, the U.S. Supreme Court, listening to the suggestions by the Commander-in-Chief and asking for evidence being denied by the states, demands the states in question produce the evidence.

The entity We the People of the United States cannot expect the-personal-God to establish civic integrity in the U.S. The suggestion that necessity requires responsible-human-independence was proffered in Genesis 1:27-28. Write your Congressperson and Senators and demand immediate revision of the First Amendment so as to promote civic integrity rather than religious opinion. Stipulate that it be done before 2022.

It’s a shock, but “ourselves and our Posterity” of 2021 can undo U.S. tyranny by requiring First Amendment revision, preferably before 2022, to better than the following:

No government agent in the U.S. will constrain the development of civic integrity; or abridge the freedom of speech, or of the constitutionally-responsible-press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This revision leaves religious opinion to necessary adult-privacy and vulnerable to the U.S. statutory-justice development; revising laws when injustice is discovered. For example, a priest who learns of a crime, such as pederasty, and does not report it to civil first-responders invites loss and constraint. I think so. In fact, it is essential for a person to develop a genuine human being. Also, it is advantageous in childhood to be coached and encouraged to be authentic.

In early childhood, perhaps past age 3, a person needs to appreciate their unique opportunity to develop fidelity to self. It takes about a quarter century for a human-being to acquire the comprehension and intention to live a complete human lifetime. With so much time required to get a good start, it is essential for them to understand the objective: to develop perfection before their body, mind, and person stop functioning. With good coaching, they might approach perfection during their second and third quarter centuries and beyond. Without aid, their unique perfection may be lessened. Perfection can begin the moment the person accepts the goal and intends to make it happen.

      There are two characteristics on which my theory is founded. First, a human-being has the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to develop humble-integrity to self. That is, to make every decision in authentic self-interest. Second, the person accepts that physics and its progeny, including psychology, is the-ineluctable-truth to be discovered and relied on. Therefore, they neither throw sand into the wind nor cause injury to fellow-humans.

      Not every person discovers HIPEA and among those who do, not all choose humble-integrity. Some people think dependency, crime, tyranny, and worse-lifestyles pay. Therefore, constraining harm by fellow-humans is in a person’s self-interest.

      The principles expressed so far pertain to civic morality: developing personal perfection in a culture that allows every fellow-human the same opportunity. Hopefully, the dissident reforms after constraint convinces them that humble-integrity is in their self-interest. In some cases harm is so bad the offender must lose life itself. In civic integrity, the law is continually improved, in order to approach statutory justice.

      The above issues addressed personal achievements during life, perhaps unique perfection. There remains imagination of the afterdeath---that vast time after mind, body, and person cease functioning. Some cultures nurture theories of life after death, either as an eternal soul, or through reincarnation. For believers in these cultures, compliance with the doctrine is considered spiritual morality. These doctrinal moralities cannot be imposed on non-believers, and therefore have no impact on civic integrity, as long as they are kept private. Attempts to impose them on fellow-humans increases chaos and is thus un-civic.

      In the U.S., the Congressional attempt to impose their partnership with religion on the people is tyranny that has produced the chaos we are experiencing in 2021. We, “ourselves and our Posterity” of 2021 may hold Congress responsible to revise, before 2022, the First Amendment so as to promote civic integrity rather than religious opinion. Readers who agree might adapt these principles to their preferences and write their Congressperson and Senators.

Mr. Ray, your question seems profoundly responsible. You recommend that both parties intend peaceful resolution.

Therefore, on first acceptance that there is a difference of opinion, the parties must clearly describe the issue, clearly describe the two opinions, and commit to find “the best way to have a peaceful resolution”. If one party lacks intent, for example, is not even willing to clarify the two positions, then the other party might say that it is good to know there are two opinions and then commit to the time there is interest in peaceful resolution. My first reaction is that your suggestion negates the attitude, “We’ll have to agree to disagree.”

The party who hears that can open the possibility: “If and when you decide to discover ‘the best way to have a peaceful resolution’ I intend to iteratively collaborate.” I write “iteratively” to suggest that comprehension of two opinions is an iterative process.

If someone accepts that they are a human being, they exercise their individual power, energy, and authority (HIPEA) to earn the way of living they want.

When they need something, they negotiate with a fellow citizen to provide it. The other names a price and the requester either pays for the service or shops elsewhere.

Neither community, government, nor the-God guarantees “life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness”. The only right that seems valid to me is freedom-from oppression, so that the individual may use HIPEA to develop humble-integrity rather than tolerate infidelity to their person.

I don’t think discipline is freedom.

Freedom is absence of oppression, whether external or internal.

Freedom is constraint by external forces, such as typhoons driving people to higher ground and hurricanes driving people inland. Also, taxation by governments constrains personal spending. As long as the governments use the taxes for citizens it is not oppression. The individual assures freedom by paying the taxes and by earning enough to consider taxation a privilege rather than a burden. If government required every citizen to earn that much, it would be tyranny. In other words, the citizen is free to choose a life-style that holds taxation a burden. Taxation is an external limitation and regarding it a burden is an internal constraint. Similarly, working for the lifestyle you want constrains free time, and praying for wealth begs poverty.  

With these principles we have mentioned government freedom-from oppression when tax revenues are spent on the people, the individual can consider taxation a privilege, and the government allows dissent; taxation is a burden. Earning enough to regard paying taxes a privilege constrains external oppression, and settling for a less affluent lifestyle in order to avoid taxes is tolerance of internal oppression.

Discipline is reliable attention to individual purpose. If your purpose is crime, you are dependent upon the victims and thus cannot be free. If your purpose is to live the highlife by convincing the people you are serving them, you are enslaved to a lie. If your purpose is to constrain chaos during your lifetime, you are free and have the potential to perfect your person.

In Congress today, we heard the tyrannies “our liberty” and “our democracy” often. As of the summer of 2020, it is clear that too many democrats take liberty as license to injure property and fellow-citizens. The present Congress encourages this liberty, and the present administration is committing crime against We the People of the United States. They are taxing us to pay others.

However, our 1776 declaration was for independence. We, the “ourselves and our Posterity” of 2021 should promote the six disciplines proffered in the preamble to the U.S. Constitution: integrity, justice, peace, strength, prosperity, and responsible-human-independence. Our first action should be to reform the First Amendment so as to promote civic integrity rather than religious opinion.

My guess is that the change agent must find words to express the change so that it seems traditions are being upheld. Otherwise, the people who must effect the change will be opponents.

For example, the separation of church from state, responsible privacy from civil obligation, doctrinal Gods from Commander-in-chief, moral demands from military strength, religious hope from safety and security, must be presented as freedom-from oppression so that the individual can pursue the happiness they want rather than what someone else envisions for them.

Lincoln knew that the original slave-states ratio of 8:5 had changed to 7 CSA:27 Union. Military strength was with the North. Again, cancelation politics is not new.

The tyranny here is not Christian opinion, a private practice. The tyranny is the religion-Congress-partnership that Congress unconstitutionally imposed in the 1791 First Amendment. Plato’s Socrates challenged the elites to admit that the-good is sufficient incentive for good citizenship and the-God is no surrogate for the-good. Those 5 delegates summarized their view of the 4-months’ debate as intentional public discipline for integrity, justice, peace, strength, prosperity, and responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity”. So far, the entity We the People of the United States has not articulated the six disciplines and therefore, the disciplines are not established in the U.S. after 232 years’ operation.

The committee offered no standards for any of the six disciplines, leaving the ultimate development to the continuum of living citizens---ourselves and our descents plus the legal immigrants and their descendants.

As a consequence of developments since 1968, a confluence of forces has created chaos in the U.S., leaving our generation the privilege to understand how it happened and hold the nation accountable to reform.

France’1789 bloody revolution for “liberty, equality, fraternity” turned up as BLM and antifa for anti-fascists (against nation/race oppressing the dissident individual) in today’s USA, demonstrating that “liberty” too often is egocentric license to injure property and fellow citizens.

As a human being who by age 10 doubted Christianity yet pursued it for 4 decades, I understand the tyranny of the religion-Congress-partnership that Congress unconstitutionally imposed on the U.S. in 1791. It defies Genesis 1, the 1776 Declaration, and the 1787 Constitution.

I think the younger generations are fed up with adult hypocrisy. Like every generation in their first half century, they have not the background with which to articulate their angst. Many late-teens I have talked to are more serious than many adults. Some taught me to appreciate self-discipline more than ever before. I feel confident that discipline is the key to the future that is inevitable.

But I doubt that one would suggest that six public disciplines is the object of the preamble to the U.S. Constitution, namely: integrity, justice, peace, strength, prosperity, and responsible-human-independence. The standards for these disciplines are to be discovered by “ourselves and our Posterity”. Notice that religion is not one of the disciplines, as the U.S. accepts and intends religion as a private pursuit for adults.

Most people in their third quarter-century may have grandchildren and feel grateful they may not know the misery their posterity faces with nearly $30 trillion in national debt. People in the second quarter-century may lose sleep over the satisfactions they hope-for while debts against their children accumulate. People in their first quarter century try to keep busy so as not to focus on the chaos they perceive from the older generations.

The chaos has not suddenly appeared. It has been developing since Congress betrayed the U.S. independence-intentions expressed in the 1776 declaration of war against England and the 1787 U.S. Constitution. Both of these documents express responsible-human-independence. Intentionally or not, the authors of each document accept the Genesis 1:27-28 charge to independently take dominion and order the land.

Compare the English, Mayflower Compact, 1620, which attributes responsibility to God and the Christian faith: Having undertaken, for the Glory of God, and advancements of the Christian faith, and the honor of our King and Country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the Northern parts of Virginia . . .”

Congress, in 1791, unconstitutionally created a Protestant-Congress partnership that was the accepted cancel culture for 230 years as of 2021. As a human-being developing trust-in and commitment-to the-ineluctable-truth, most of which is unknown, I have always been canceled by my community.

When I was a Baptist, my Sunday school was studying relationships with neighbors, and our teacher asked me to share my deep thought. I said, “We should set such a good example that our neighbor may one day ask, ‘Why are you so good?”

We can respond that we have Jesus in our heart, and if they indicate they do not, we can suggest they consider Jesus. Otherwise, we should treat all neighbors the same.

The teacher called me a heretic. I was 45 in a class of 70s and older, and the church created a new, deep-thinking 40s men’s class. The teacher asked why Jesus died on the cross and all but one person answered, “To redeem men of their sins.” I said, “God could have handled Pontius Pilot freeing Jesus instead of turning him over to the clergy.”

Not long after that, I resigned from the Baptist brotherhood. (That is unusual, since the church is a local body of believers.)

I asked a Catholic priest to serve me the Eucharist as Remembrance so that I could approach the altar with my family. He responded, “No: you must embrace transubstantiation.”

In chemical engineering, with a B.S. in a crowd of M.S. and PhD engineers, I was promoted to R&D Advisor and retired with 35-years’ service to one company. When the boss who sponsored my promotion to Advisor learned I was not a Christian, he said he never knew me and wished he could recall that affirmation of my work.

In 2021, fellow-citizens who are accustomed to the Judeo-Christian-Congress-partnership and a Supreme Court that seems more Judeo-Catholic, are shocked with cancelation of their culture by a confluence of forces that also do not understand what is happening.

The Democrats, the media, sports stars, entertainers, the clergy, black-dissidents, LGBTQ, illegal inhabitants, and aliens do not realize why chaos seems attractive to them.

I think both sides are mistaken to not consider what is at stake and how easily the angst can be remedied. Each Genesis 1:27-28, the 1776 Declaration, and the 1787 U.S. Constitution call for humility toward God, the common representation of energy above humankind, with responsibility for peace on earth to “ourselves and our Posterity.”

The Judeo-Christian-Congress-partnership cannot usurp responsible-human-independence. Therefore, We the People of the United States of 2021 must revise the First Amendment from “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof” to “Congress shall make no law lessening civic-integrity” or better.

Every human being faces consideration of their afterdeath, that vast time after body, mind, and person stop functioning. The humanly-constructed consideration of metaphysics, such as soul, is a choice each person may make. However, it is a private consideration rather than a civil imposition. Fellow-citizens are free to develop humble-integrity if they prefer. The 2021 ourselves and our posterity can stop the Congressional tyranny the U.S. suffers.

During the subsequent 4,000 years, some civilizations compete in reasonable constructs by which they purport-to bargain with the higher power to assure their culture’s success in constraining chaos within and defeating the enemy without. Christianity is only one of the monotheisms that would disprove the Genesis 1 assignment to the human being: constrain chaos in living.

England, in 1215 partnered their Catholic bishops at Canterbury with the lords in Parliament for legislation of laws, lessening the powers of King John with his agreement. In 1689’s Bill of Rights, England stipulated a Protestant monarchy.

England had started colonizing the eastern seaboard of N. American in 1607 at Jamestown. However, colonists came from many European countries and other parts of the world. Starting 1619, substantially England bought African-slave exports and placed them here to enrich agricultural development. Many Americans objected to the cruel practice that was imposed on their society, and when, in 1763, a new king decided to tax the colonies and take the proceeds to pay French-war debts, some colonists sensed being enslaved as tax earners and slave-overlords.

It is important to note that many of the colonial leaders were loyal British subjects who were as shocked to realize and admit to their oppression as I was shocked 2 decades ago to realize all the time I spent defending the Christian religion was self-enslavement for a business proposition. Good grief! Right at the prime of my years with 3 adolescent, Catholic, children, I tithed to the Baptist Church. My Sunday school class agreed that my children would burn in hell because they had not been baptized by emersion. My son’s baseball coach made him miss his supper more than once telling him the same thing. When I explained that all three children had confirmed their faith at their first communion, the class ignorantly said, “Yes, but confirmation is not a sacrament.” The called me heretic for another reason. Have you ever felt the sting of being called heretic?

By 1774, the colonists decided they must defend their way of living rather than urge Parliament to stop the abuse. A farmer-militia liberated Worcester MA in September, 1774 without a shot fired; British officials never returned to their offices. However, in April, 1775, shots were fired and the war was on.

In 1776, the founders declared the war but did not disparage the English Trinity, because to many loyal colonists God is Protestant, not Catholic. But a few colonists were Catholic, so all colonists must be represented. The founders claimed human authority based on Nature and Nature’s God. They enlisted “the good People” of the colonies to execute the military actions under “the Supreme Judge of the world”. Rather than rely on prayer for the victory, they negotiated with France for military providence. Thus, the founders separated church from state. And they accepted and met the Genesis 1 charge to constrain chaos in their land.

The colonists were accustomed to charters like the Mayflower Compact, 1620, which starts, “IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN. We, whose names are underwritten, the Loyal Subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord King James, by the Grace of God, of Great BritainFrance, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, &c. I think all 50 state constitutions acknowledge God in some way. These documents cannot purport to accept the Genesis 1 political philosophy that God will not usurp humankind’s responsibility for legislation. Most writers of constitutions insert a disclaimer that attributes to God mistakes of government officials.

But not the framers of the U.S. Constitution: they affirmed the humble-integrity proffered by the 1776 Declaration. The framers maintained the separation of church and state. Some detractors call it “the godless constitution”. Some do so to erroneously defend a secular state. The 1787 U.S. Constitution merely assigns religion to privacy rather than imposing it civilly. Congress, in 1791 unconstitutionally imposed the tyranny of religion as the legislative scape goat. It’s pure Chapter XI Machiavellianism.

Machiavelli wrote that since God is the scape goat, only a fool would object. I like to think of myself as an advocate for humble-integrity more than a dreamer. Both fool and hater I deny.

That brings me to a request for you, Mr. Davis. Think of me not as theist or atheist but as developing humble-integrity. Foremost, I admit not knowing what I don’t know.

Accepting and performing according to the literal words in Genesis 1:27-28 is not easy. I think it is well worth contemplation and practice by the human being. I think the 1776 founders and the 1787 framers met the Genesis 1 standard: separation of church and state. Congress is out of line, but the U.S. does not have to tolerate Congressional tyranny.

On January 6 morning, Pence announced he would not cooperate with Trump in sending the electoral votes back to contested states. He betrayed Trump, We the People of the United States, and responsible-human-independence as described in Genesis 1 and in the 1787 U.S. Constitution.

Jesus is reported to have said, “Before Abraham was born I am.” For all I know, that means he is the-God referenced in Genesis 1. That is, the-God who assigned peace on earth to female&male human-being. When Pence defied his Commander-in-Chief, he may also have defied Jesus, based on Pence hubris.

I think Pence made his beliefs more important than Jesus’ messages, betraying most of all Pence. It is not an uncommon error. Once a human being recognizes the error, they can’t wait to practice reform as they perceive it.. Some become humble to the-good, suggested by Plato’s Socrates.

Nothing in the Constitution authorizes the Vice President to betray the President and thereby the people who voted for the ticket. Pence applied commitment to personal belief about Jesus Christ. The challenge here is kindly expressing resistance when you think someone is causing or intends to cause injury. As I view the founders’ expressions in the 1776 Declaration, yes.

That is, a king is foremost a fellow-citizen. Life and happiness are particular to the human being, if they accept being a human being (see “the good People”). And the bloody revolution of 1789 with its motto "liberty, equality, fraternity" taught that liberty is not as representative as “responsible-human-independence”. The U.S. needs to re-name the statue in NY Harbor “The Statue of Independence”.

Most societies teach their youth to seek a higher power---the-God-whatever-it-may-be, a doctrinal-God, a government, a philosophy, a guru, a guru until you surpass it. I know of only one society that proffered public discipline in order to develop responsible-human-independence, and that society is dormant due to Chapter XI Machiavellian tyranny.

Humankind developed tools starting about 3 million years ago, created languages perhaps 150 thousand years ago, constructed gods perhaps 60 thousand years ago, and many societies started constructing their monotheisms about 4 thousand years ago. About that time, a middle-eastern political philosopher suggested that male&female human beings must, independent of the-God, flourish, dominate the other living species, and subdue the earth (Genesis 1:27-28).

In 4 thousand years, humankind has discovered less than they need, yet much can be construed from Genesis 1. Female&male human beings must constrain chaos in their lives. Perhaps the dinosaurs dying away was essential to human feasibility. To develop children and grandchildren for life, female&male must establish civic-integrity rather than tolerate infidelity. The-ineluctable-evidence, so far, affirms that the-God will not usurp female&male responsibility to constrain chaos. Separating responsibilities to the-God from those to humankind, in 2021 political language, is separation of church from state.

The founders of the USA intentionally separated church from state, as expressed in their 1776 declaration of independence from the Church of England’s Protestant Trinity and constitutional partnership with Parliament. They appealed to “Nature and Nature’s God” for individual, human authority. The founders spoke for “the good People” in dedicating their all to the war for independence, appealing “to the Supreme Judge of the world” for military justice. In 1778, sensing defeat, they petitioned France for military providence. In 1781, Cornwallis surrender to France and the continental army at Yorktown, VA. Only 6 years later, 13 free and independent former colonies seemed dysfunctional as a confederation of states. 12 states sent delegates to strengthen domestic order under the Articles of Confederation. Instead, they framed a nation, with a central government to provide what neither individual states nor the people could provide. Not one word in the 1787 U.S. Constitution lessens the 1776 separation of church from state.

Congress, in 1791, arrogated Genesis 1, the 1776 Declaration, and the 1787 Constitution by unconstitutionally creating a religion-Congress partnership. We, the 2021 “ourselves and our Posterity” must end Congress’s tyranny this year. The entity “We the People of the United States” must revise the religion clauses in the First Amendment to “Congress shall make no law that lessens civic-integrity” or better.

Meanwhile, fellow-citizens can get started on an achievable better future in the U.S., where believers look privately to higher power for hopes and comforts but provide safety and security so that every responsible person may pursue the happiness they perceive rather than accept the dictates of another.

What makes this better future achievable is a culture that encourages and coaches its youth to acquire the comprehension and intention to constrain chaos in their life rather than accept infidelity to self. That society is already proffered in the 3 documents I discussed above.

Civically-disciplined people would hold fellow citizens in local, state, and national government-offices accountable.

Take the time to create your interpretation of the preamble to the U.S. Constitution, considering the above three documents, each respecting separation of church from state. Higher authority will not usurp the human-being’s responsibility to constrain chaos in their life. My preamble-interpretation today is:  This member of “We the People of the United States” accepts the 5 public disciplines: integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity, “in order to” live by responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity”.

Both the original preamble and my interpretation reserve humility toward whatever the higher power is, by keeping the question private. It may be the Trinity, Jesus, physics and its progeny including psychology, the statutory justice our posterity will discover, chaos, or something else: I don’t know.

The 2021 “ourselves and our Posterity” may end the U.S. tyranny by requiring Congress to revise the First Amendment from Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof” to Congress shall make no law restricting civic integrity” or Congress shall make no law that increases civic chaos” or better. People who are not U.S. citizens can apply these principles in their countries. I don’t think so.

It seems to me humankind (the good posterity among the species that made tools 3 million years ago, attempted substitution of the-God as surrogate for necessity 4,000 years ago, and continually improves chaos-constraint in the world) has reached a 2021 acceptance on par with terminating human sacrifice to appease the-God, whatever-it-may-seem-to-be (3,700 years ago in the Middle East and much later in Central America and Hawaii). At least in the U.S., after 232-years’ operation, political power has entered divergent chaos, which if not corrected will lead to annihilation of the rule of statutory justice (continually improved written law).

We learned this morning that the U.S. Supreme Court will hear several cases concerning cheating in the 2020 presidential election, and that is a glimmer of hope for survival against the Democrat-Party evil: break the law and deal with court outcomes if some judge decides to act.

So far, the Biden administration seems intent on fulfilling Senator Schumer’s ambition to change America. I can’t predict, but I hope the consequence will be the end of the Democrat Party in the U.S., predicated on the national acceptance that the U.S. is a republic under the rule of law and there is no place for democratic power. Therefore, the label “Democrat” is politically defeating to the candidate. (Also, Schumer is the second greatest example of the need for term limits; unlimited state elections empowers regional preferences.)

Readers who like these principles are encouraged to do the work to modify them to their preferences and write to your Congressperson and Senators to hold them accountable to the revisions.
