Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on the-objective-truth, which can only be discovered. The comment box below invites readers to write.
"Civic"
refers to citizens who collaborate for individual
happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or
society.
Consider writing a personal
paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual equality: For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and
paraphrase it for my interpretation of its proposal as follows: This good citizen practices the U.S. disciplines---integrity, justice,
peace, strength, and prosperity, "in order to” develop responsible
human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity.” I want to improve my interpretation by
listening to other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the
original, 1787, text, unless it is amended by the people.
It seems the
Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one has challenged whether or
not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this
independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states
deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble
is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who
collaborate for human justice.
Every citizen
has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in
the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try
somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the
goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies
grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to
discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.
Selected theme from this week
Preserve the people’s opportunity to discern liars. There’s a profusion of interest in freedom of speech and lies.
Reviewing the history of civilizations and the
evolution of human culture, it seems we are in a pivotal time. Perhaps we are
reaching the abyss of pretense regarding higher power.
Over the last few weeks, we connected the suggestion
in Genesis 1:27-28 that humankind has the exclusive power to constrain chaos on
earth (church and state separated), to the responsible-human-independence
expressed in the 1776 eastern-seaboard declaration against England (without
disparaging their Protestant Trinity), to the 1787 U.S. Constitution that
affirms the 1776 humble-integrity “to ourselves and our Posterity” (and
excludes religion, a private consideration, from the civic disciplines). We
observed that the first Congress defied those three documents and We the People
of the United States when they created an unconstitutional religion-Congress
partnership by which to practice by tradition the British-Protestant Chapter XI
Machiavellianism the U.S. has suffered since the June 21, 1788 intention to add
a Bill of Rights to mimic England’s 1689 reform from Catholic partnership to Protestant
monarchy.
Several of this week’s essays encourage free speech so
that We the People of the United States will be able to know not only the lies but
be able to name the liars. I think President Joe Biden is the world’s leading
liar.
I today read James H. Cone, “The Theology of Martin Luther King,
Jr. (1984). Quoting the article, ”Martin King
began his public career with an emphasis on the justice of God. He derived its
meaning from the Hebrew prophets, as interpreted in the faith and history of
the black church and liberal protestant theology. He also used the American
democratic tradition, especially as found in the Constitution and the
Declaration of Independence.” Further, “King's theology was
defined by the themes of justice, love, and hope.” Moreover, “King's goal was not simply the
elimination of racism, poverty, and war, but rather the establishment of an
integrated community of persons of all races, working together toward the
building of the kingdom which he called the "beloved community."
Everything King did and said regarding the church and society was intended to
create a new community in which love and justice defined the relationship
between all people.”
Love is so often abused, especially by the Church
leaders. Further, love is often not wanted. And the claim to “unconditional
love” seems egocentric toward the deplorable. King might have been more
successful by preaching mutual appreciation among fellow-citizens who constrain
chaos in their ways of living. Alas, Saul Alinsky ushered in Alinsky-Marxist
organizations, which Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton studied, and the U.S. era
of chaos rages on.
We the People of the United States, the 2021 “ourselves
and our Posterity” must demand revision of the First Amendment from “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . .” to “Congress shall
make no law prohibiting the development of civic integrity . . .” or better.

comment by Patrick Dieter
I think we can apply your line of thought to the U.S. with more impact than
with ground-roots education. That is to say, it is good to improve the
individual, and even better to improve the culture they live in: “ourselves and
our Posterity” has as better chance without hypocrisy in government.
I revisited our dialogue and found online some people say Maslow spoke of
Biblical grace. I read definitions of “grace” in Merriam-Webster online and see
that indeed some do not reference fear yet some reference privilege. Which
definition best expresses your usage?
I recently began a continuing contemplation of Genesis 1:27–28, interpreting
it considering discoveries in the recent 4,000 years as the demand by higher
power (perhaps necessity psychologically and physics practically) that
female&male human-beings constrain chaos among living species and in the
universe.
I’m wondering how to apply this concept to distribution of the nation’s GDP.
How can U.S.-governed-capitalism be restructured not for philanthropy but for
constraint of chaos, such that Elan Musk is rewarded for entrepreneurship
(essential to everyone) yet accumulates maybe 5% of his current wealth,
estimated at $200 billion (that’s 1/5 of $ 1 trillion)? Musk’s foundation
supports STEM, including renewable energy.
Another example, Bill Gates, worth $130 billion. His foundation seeks to
improve the quality of life of each individual. I especially dislike one of the
Gates’ products, Common Core Education. I think the individual should be
coached and motivated to break free from professorial agenda.
In other words, philanthropy is a mechanism for wealthy people to subvert
the entity We-the-People-of-the-United-States’ role of holding the U.S.
government accountable. So, the first proposal I have is to not allow tax
deductions/exemptions for philanthropic foundations.
How does this idea strike you regarding capitalism that empowers essential
income (including savings for security and retirement) to fellow citizens who
choose to serve in a service or production that fellow-citizens want?
What good is freedom to support an individual worth $0.2 trillion if the
willing-and-able-citizen cannot earn a living and save for the future? (My
concern has nothing to do with religion, race, or gender, much as Genesis 1 is
inclusive of human-beings.)
To Patrick Dieter again:
I
appreciate your views on education and capitalism and think we have a lot in
common. I’ve always thought of police and such as civic infrastructure
consistent with the U.S. preamble’s people’s proposition: integrity, justice,
peace, strength, and prosperity, “in order to” secure
responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity” (my
paraphrasing). I can see calling policing “socialism”, but don’t prefer it.
Regarding
“grace” it’s not what Phil Beaver is driving at: I ask to understand what you
meant.
Quoting
you on October 5, 2019, “I’d say that the perfect word to describe the top of
Maslow’s pyramid is ‘grace.’” Do you mean Biblical grace or privilege or
antinomianism? If not, what?
To Patrick Dieter again:
After
all, you wrote about grace 16 months ago. I appreciate your patience.
I’m
not particularly religious either yet am serious about its imposition in civic life.
Since
“grace” is not Biblical, antinomian, or privileged, I feel positioned to
express my acceptance of Maslow’s highest human achievement. I think grace is
the choice to perfect your unique human being to 1) aid civic safety, 2) responsibly
pursue the individual happiness you perceive, and 3) to accept other
individuals where they are on their paths to the same goals: safety and
happiness. You serve fellow-humans by interpreting Maslow’s pyramid as duty to
self rather than as needs.
Here
are some basic considerations. Merriam-Webster Online’s 8.b. usage for “grace” is
“the quality or state of being considerate or thoughtful”. In my interpretation
of Agathon’s speech in Plato’s “Symposium,” the appreciative citizen neither
initiates nor tolerates harm to or from any person or responsible association.
Thus, if the person they are with contemplates or commits harm, the graceful
person kindly objects to the harm, without judging the other. For example,
“Do you realize you are driving 45 mph in a 30 mph zone”? If the other insists
on actual harm, for example, smashing windows instead of protesting, the
graceful person calls in first responders, again without judging the other.
Forbid the case, but if the other seeks to kill, you promptly terminate the
attempt then report to first responders.
These principles come from interpretation of Genesis
1:27-28: female&male human beings are charged to constrain chaos on earth,
independent of the power that is higher than humankind. Not every person
chooses compliance, so some must be constrained.
Grace seems a necessity for human survival if not for
peace on earth. Thank you for prompting me to think about “grace” and for your
extended generosity. I hope we continue the dialogue.

I
can only speak my preferences.
I
want to provide the-liar the-freedom-to lie. Otherwise, I have no way of
evaluating the-ineluctable-evidence so as to earn my opinion that the liar is
lying. (I never know the political truth.)
For
example, President Donald Trump didn’t lie in 2017 when he said that draining
the swamp would be difficult. He just didn’t imagine that the
Congressional-partnership with Judeo-Christianity is the established U.S.
Chapter XI Machiavellian tyranny over “ourselves and our Posterity”, so far (I
propose to end the tyranny before 2022 and urge readers to make the proposal
viral).
Mike
Pence taught Trump and We the People of the United States that belief in Jesus
Christ is personal and the believer cares not what Jesus suggests. The-God of
Genesis 1 suggests responsible-human-independence, which Trump provides and
Pence denies. For all Pence knows, Jesus’s reported statement “Before Abraham I
am” includes psychological influence over the political philosopher of Genesis
1. That is to say, perhaps Jesus was quoted in Genesis 1.
But
Joe Biden? Together? President for someone who seeks the-ineluctable-truth?
President for all Americans? Joe Biden is a liar, and that’s my opinion.
I
doubt Biden can face a state of the union address, rumored for February 23,
2021. (Also, he may fear the precedent Speaker Pelosi set when she shred
President Trump’s recent State of the Union address.) I envision 1 lie and the
audience is silent. 2 lies and some bipartisan statesmen boo. 3 lies and the chamber
clears, excepting the Harris administration.
The
Democrat Party is trying to establish that John Rawls’ leftist idea “justice as
fairness” is wrong: Democrats express justice is tyranny.

https://www.quora.com/Is-the-profusion-of-disinformation-that-appears-on-the-internet-and-proffered-by-some-commentators-as-truth-bad-for-mental-health?
by Graham C Lindsay
Defining mental-health as psychological-maturity on pace
with decades of living a life, I don’t think hearing a lie hurts the listener.
However, choosing to lie lessens the liar’s chances of developing as a human
being rather than as one of the opposites (each person chooses their own
character, so let them label it).
For example, I was reared to be a Southern Baptist, with
competition between Mom’s literal Christianity and Dad’s considerations. When I
began to read and consider, the threats by the-God represented in the Bible
prompted the question: Why should I worship and praise a-God that feels so weak
as to threaten me—even through Mom and Dad in conflict? (Then, I had not the
experiences and observations with which to articulate obvious concerns.)
But Dad&Mom was such a reliable provider, I tried to
choose one of their religions as I observed 4 decades of global objections,
including my siblings’ sufferings. For example, my maternal family considered
my wife, a Louisiana French-Catholic woman whom I now describe as the most
serenely confident person I ever met, as doomed to hell unless she would be
baptized by emersion. Were they wrong? Civically, without a doubt. Spiritually,
I think so, too.
Fortunately or not, I became a chemical engineer and took to
heart the senior seminar on integrity to the profession’s customers. The
reliable chemical engineer is to discover the-objective-truth if not
the-ineluctable-truth and thereby provide safety and happiness to all
interested parties. I worked with people from over 40 ethnic backgrounds,
traveled in Europe a little, and had an expatriate assignment for 16 months.
The human-contact opened my mind.
Beyond some objective-truths about our chemical plants, I
learned about some of the enduring Judeo-Christian divisions. We observed
Easter in the Peloponnese. I discovered neither African-Israel-factions nor the
Ethiopian Tewahedo-Bible Church. However, I did observe hate-fervor for
Americans. In short, an East-Tennessee-closed-mind (Scots-Irish, Irish,
English, and German) partially emerged from my cave.
About 4 decades ago, I began to study two questions: 1) with
so many wonderful people on earth, why are there conflicts and wars? And 2)
with such a wonderful constitutionally-proffered-intention, why are so many
Americans domestic enemies?
A few college courses informed me that professors promote
their agenda about the opinions recorded by direct-observers of historical
events. For example, it’s almost impossible to discover that R. E. Lee embraced
Virginia-preaching that abolitionists were evil for trying to accelerate their
Protestant-God’s schedule to redeem blacks against the sins of ancestors. Even
if you start with the question: Why does
the-South-Carolina-declaration-of-secession-from-the-USA include the phrase
“more erroneous religious belief”? discovering Lee’s ruinous message to his
wife is not likely. And in the declaration, why not arrogant religious belief?
Why admit South-Carolina-erroneous religious-belief to declare war?
(Suggestions would be welcomed.) I think the facts are hidden by
Christian scholars and by the public in pretense that honesty substitutes for
integrity. Lee Circle in New Orleans should be restored with a plaque detailing
Lee’s erroneous Christian beliefs and that he invited the woe he suffered.
I take seriously the mysteries writers left about Jesus,
beginning 70 years after he died and continuing until perhaps 360 AD, when
diverse canonizations began. For example, did Jesus really promote hate, each
1) against family and 2) accusing non-believers, as a condition of discipleship
(Luke 14:26 and John 15:18-23, respectively)? I reject Luke’s and John’s
opinions. Both Plato and the political philosopher of Genesis 1:27-28 (charging
female&male persons to independent-human-responsibility for peace) reflect
Jesus’ principles, affirming both John 8:58 (I am), Matthew 5:48 (be perfect),
and Mark 12:17 (appreciate both civic necessity and private inspiration to
the-good). Seriously considering these mysteries enrichen a person’s humility
toward the-higher-power.
I oppose the argument that whatever controls the unfolding
of the universe must accept being labeled “the-God” or “God”. It seems at least
arrogant toward the-ineluctable-evidence if not the-ineluctable-truth. It seems
evident that necessity controls responsible-human-independence and physics-and-its-progeny
controls the consequences of human actions. For example, if someone is alerted
that a tsunami is coming so get to higher ground, they are likely to die if
they neglect the warning. And if someone kills a person because they feel the
person will take their life, they are likely to face murder charges. I do not
know the-ineluctable-truth but doubt the reliability of “the-God” or any other
human construct to represent the power that controls things. However, I do not
doubt that something is in control of the unfolding of events: The human being
seeks to conform to a higher power.
I think humankind’s discoveries during these 4,000
years---since 1) monotheism became prominent in the Middle East and 2) human
sacrifice to bargain with the-God was replaced with animal sacrifice---affirm
the political philosophy in Genesis 1: to survive, female&male human-beings
must, independent of the-God, dominate the living species and constrain chaos
on earth. In other words, even if the-God returns a good afterdeath for worship
and praise, the individual must constrain chaos during their lifetime.
(Obviously, dominance&constraint for the-good includes limiting the people
who prefer chaos.)
In modern terms, this philosophy is separation of church
from state: private hopes from civic responsibility; conservation rather than
waste; and life from afterdeath--that vast time after body, mind, and person
stop functioning.
To develop a Genesis 1 sympathetic culture, a nation must
have a commander who takes singular responsibility for civic order, in other
words to constrain chaos in their country. Unlike the pharaohs who pretended
divinity, the reliable temporal commander offers only comprehensive safety, so
that the fellow-citizen can responsibly pursue the happiness they perceive.
During the evolution of human cultures in the last 4,000 years, I know of only
one nation that proffered a culture with separation of church and state and a
temporal Commander-in-Chief, the President of the United States. The intended
culture is specified by the founders, and moreover, by the signers of the draft
U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787. Ratification in 1788 intended Congress
to mimic a Bill of Rights (England, 1689).
The 1791 Congress, in constitutional arrogance, created a
religion-Congress-partnership under which the 12 generations of “ourselves and
our Posterity” have tolerated the tyranny of religious chaos
imposed against civic safety. The arrogance seems derived from the
colonial-English-tradition of factional-American-Protestantism to dominate
political policy. With continual, evolving propaganda Congress keeps We the
People of the United States bemused with “freedom of religion” in order to
repress civic-integrity. The Congressional tyranny suppresses the separation of
church from state expressed plainly in the 1776 declaration of independence
from England’s constitutional church-state-partnership.
In the 1776 Declaration, the founders do not disparage the
English-Protestant-Trinity. They cite “Nature’s God” as the arbiter of human
rights. They reference “the Supreme Judge of the world” for reliable military
action. They call on “the good People” to execute the necessary war. In 1778,
the founders had the humility to negotiate with France, already at war with
England, for military providence, which was delivered in
Cornwallis’ surrender at Yorktown, VA in 1781. Compliant to both Genesis 1 and
Jesus’ message, the founders separated church from state. The framers, in the
1787 Constitution, expressed not one word diminishing the humble-integrity the
founders expressed in the 1776 Declaration.
Now, in 2021, “the good people” of the U.S. find themselves
confronted by an angry mob that blatantly stonewalls them at every turn. The
consequence is chaos in the USA. I doubt the defiant President, Joe Biden, will
deliver the 2021 state of the union address, unconfirmed for February 23, 2021.
If my guess plays out, his handlers prefer to avoid another threat to their
secretive arrogance.
It is not reasonable to ask if
anything justifies this U.S. development unto chaos. It is prudent
to ask how it happened.
I assert that allegiance to Protestant Christianity (feigned
as Judeo-Christianity and now seeming to morph to Catholic-Christianity)
prevents the U.S. from practicing its 1776-1787 proffered intentions to
responsible-human-independence.
The list of Christian tyrants after March 4, 1789 when
Congress was seated representing the people of 11 states is long . For
examples, Madison authored U.S. Chapter XI Machiavellianism; Adams promoted
English rather than U.S. tradition; Lincoln required new states to erroneously
swear to uphold the 1776 Declaration; FDR promised citizens 4 foolish freedoms;
Ike replaced “E Pluribus Unum” with the KC’s “In God We Trust”; Bush II invaded
Iraq with prayers of 50 million people; and Mike Pence witnessed for Christ on
January 4, 2021 then betrayed the U.S. temporal Commander-in-Chief as well as
We the People of the United States on January 6, 2021.
The Constitution requires the U.S. Supreme Court to aid
President Trump’s responsibility to uphold the laws. The Court was being
political, and Pence could have called their hand. Pence prevented
responsible-human-independence. Pence alienated the U.S. for Pence-beliefs that
Jesus Christ might rebuke. It is not too late for Pence to repent and lead the
movement for U.S. civic-integrity under the 1787 Constitution’s intentions
instead of religion-Congress-Court-partnership.
My country, the United States, has always stone-walled me. A
lifetime of receiving lies empowers me to say so. My experience is that
Congressional and U.S. Supreme Court demands that civic integrity hinges on
Judeo-Christianity is ruinous tyranny. Phil Beaver is a human being whose
pursuit of safety and happiness never accepted a God of threats; never accepted
grace by fear; never bought into antinomianism; who feels he is elected (chosen
by higher power) to reserve sufficient doubt in reports about Jesus, in order
to reserve sufficient humility to the-God, whatever it is; and who does not
object to Christianity for the believer who does not object to a fellow
citizen’s Christian-disbelief. After all, Jesus could be the-God: I don’t know.
It is not niggling to object to government officials
unconstitutionally accepting civil office with the attempt to assign
responsibility of outcome to their personal God, adding to their oath “. . . so
help me God.” In so doing, they defy Genesis 1, the founding fathers, the
framers, the signers, and moreover We the People of the United States.
Human beings are individually too powerful to tolerate
Chapter XI Machiavellianism forever. It is not unexpected that the general
population would eventually stonewall “freedom of religion” even though they
have not the experience and observations to articulate their motives. That is,
the young people of 2021 who risk their futures to demonstrate opposition they
do not understand are wrong and should be held responsible for the harm
they cause. However, Congress must be held responsible for “freedom of
religion” instead of the right to develop humble-integrity.
By learning how to deal with lies, a civic citizen knows
when to demand revision of the First Amendment so as to promote U.S. integrity
rather than support religious chaos. I hope fellow-citizens who like this
essay’s conclusion will make certain that the proposal goes viral so that We
the People of the United States have the chance to restore 1787 U.S.
humble-integrity before 2022 ushers in. Maybe share the URL.
I have standing to register this argument, because my wife
is a wonderful Louisiana French Catholic and some of our three children may be
as well. And thanks to their family-fidelity, I articulate my trust-in and
commit to the-ineluctable-truth, most of which is unknown. In other words,
Catholic beliefs are precious to me for them.
Long ago, when I partially worshipped with my family. I
rejected a monsignor’s offer to administer communion to me with my family but
in Remembrance. In a series of conversations, he expressed his love for the
Church and offered to comply if and only if I accepted transubstantiation. I
told him the liturgy of the Mass put him and the reciters between me and God,
and I would not allow the imposition. He said, “Then we no longer need to
converse.” That was more than 3 decades ago, and if anything has changed, it’s
the Church. Thanks to our family, I articulate that I always sought
the-ineluctable-truth.
Mr. Lindsay, it may seem that I wondered far afield. I hope
I have expressed evidence that lies in the news are good training for lies the
individual must learn to face in a conflicted world. It does not have to be
that way. We must reform the U.S. as soon as possible, in order to coach and
encourage our posterity to develop humble-integrity rather than to “defend the
faith” under civil imposition.
FB

civil religious enterprise.

From last week
To Ray Richard:
Metaphysics is an attempt to approach the-ineluctable-truth
without evidence. There’s a chance the student will invent the truth and then
discover the evidence. But the slightest evidence that the study is erroneous
ought to motivate the student to research the evidence more earnestly.
Saddam Hussein mocked the prayerful George Bush to invade
and find a big surprise. There were no weapons of mass destruction. Bush
invaded on metaphysics and the world lives with the physical consequences.
Thus, with metaphysics humans delude themselves into
convictions physics disproves.
This is another illustration of the importance of separating
church from state. Bush had the hubris to say 50 million people had prayed over
his decision to invade. He really needed to consider the President’s
responsibility: whether invasion would lessen chaos on earth or not.
The 2021 We the People of the United States need to revise
the First Amendment so as to promote humble-integrity rather than continue
religious hubris before 2022 arrives.
https://www.quora.com/Why-is-loyalty-considered-a-responsibility?
by Natasha Hoyte
Consider
the-God---that entity that actually controls the unfolding of the universe and
its events. If believers knew the-God, there is no way they would defy or
slight the-God. Of necessity, prudent people constrain chaos in their
lives---are loyal to themselves and therefore, despite any hopes and comforts,
retain sufficient humility toward the-God.
However,
believers worship and praise a God or philosopher without considering loyalty
to the-God. They choose to believe what they do not know, as though the-God
takes no interest in loyalty. Since commitment is a private determination,
trying to civilly impose loyalty to a doctrinal God creates chaos rather than
constraining it.
The
only competition with the-God I am schooled in is Jesus Christ, on whose
mysteries many religions are founded. In my view, Jesus’ message was that every
human being has the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual
authority (HIPEA) to perfect their unique person before their body, mind, and
person stop functioning. Further, since the human is conceived with HIPEA,
their responsibility is to use it to develop humble-integrity in self-interest.
That is, to not tolerate infidelity to their person. That is to say, to be
loyal to their person.
St.
John, in John 15:18-23 claims that Jesus said non-believers hate Jesus’
disciples, hate Jesus, and hate God. John did not represent the Jesus I can
follow. I am prepared to face my opinion. But I doubt there’s more to come of
it.
Also,
in my view, if Jesus said, “Before Abraham I AM” I speculate he was saying
human-loyalty always existed. I perceive evidence in Agathon’s speech 400 years
before Jesus was born. He said the person who appreciates the human being
neither commits nor tolerates harm to or from any individual or association. And about 1800
years before Jesus, a philosopher said female&male human beings are charged
with the responsible-integrity to dominate the other species and control chaos
on earth: spouses are to be loyal to each other and to their posterity.
I
think Christianity helps many people practice responsible-human-independence.
Some believers who maintain loyalty to their person do not accept the hubris to
accuse non-believers of hating God. I think they reserve sufficient humility
toward the-God. I admit: I don’t know.
FB
add on: Accepting responsibility to constrain chaos during life is
loyalty to self.
https://www.quora.com/How-is-social-contract-tradition-in-favour-of-the-bourgeois-class?
by Nilesh Avhad
Avhad,
I appreciate the question and want to start by considering the Western
political-philosophy phrases you used. I think they are detrimental to
responsible-human-integrity.
First,
“social contract” varies with the tradition. Recall “consent of the governed’. The
people subjugate themselves under the social contract.
The
British social contract, with commoners constitutionally under a
Protestant-Church-Parliament legislative-partnership, is a Chapter XI
Machiavellian civil tyranny. Officials of church and state live high on the hog
and commoners neither emigrate nor rebel, keeping the faith that their God will
eventually relieve their posterity of family loss and suffering. Only a dreamer
would imagine reform.
In
the U.S., non-traditional social contract has been proffered and repressed, so
far. If it is ever established, an achievable better future may develop in a
surprisingly short time---maybe one generation, or about 20 years.
Second,
“bourgeois class” calls to mind the entrepreneurs, to whom property and capital are
critical. Marx and others hate entrepreneurs, because success develops wealth. Marx
overlooks the fact that the entrepreneur produces publicly wanted goods or
services and employs fellow-citizens in the process. Entrepreneurship involves
imagination and risks most people are unwilling or unable to undertake. Often,
the entrepreneur’s severe risk is accepting when their product is no longer
wanted.
Marketing
involves less risk. For example, a person who is talented with flowers may join
an old market: buying wholesale flowers, preparing presentations, and selling
them. However, the marketer did not create the flower-market. Yet, again,
marketing requires property, capital, and risk that many people do not want to
bear.
Workers,
from laborers to craftsmen to professionals such as doctors, are usually
employed by entrepreneurs and marketers at lessened risk; most doctors
associate with a hospital, clinic, or medical center.
Everyone
who supplies a wanted good or service ought to earn the standard cost of living
for their family situation. Thus, female&male with 2 children for life need
earnings commensurate with their civic standard of living and savings for
emergency, vacations, college, weddings, retirement, and death. Perhaps a
standard family should live on 85% of income and save the rest to accumulate
wealth for the future.
By
civic standard of living I mean income according to what the public wants to
pay for the kind of work supplied. The day laborer earns perhaps 10% of a
doctor’s pay, and has the misfortune of needing to save more than 15% of income
to build wealth. With good coaching and encouragement in their youth,
individuals acquire the education for higher paying employment. Few prepare to
be entrepreneurs.
Capital-supply---money
for entrepreneurs---finance developed to creativity and rewards. I think
government regulation of finance is at the heart of most capital crime. Like
any free market, most entrepreneurs would avoid finance-corruption, minimizing
the criminal faction. However, each government regulation adds to the chaos in
which financers resort to crime rather than preserve civic integrity; that is,
integrity to fellow-citizens. The U.S. intended minimal government.
The
1776 declaration of independence from England separated church and state. The
founders cited “Nature’s God” respecting human rights and “the Supreme Judge of
the world” respecting military victory, not disparaging England’s Protestant
Trinity. In 1778 they appealed to France for military providence.
The
1787 Constitution specified public disciplines to which the people in their
states would hold elected and appointed officials accountable to the law. The
framers wrote not one word that lessens the humble-integrity the founders
expressed in 1776. The signers included the preamble, which proffers a people’s
proposition: 5 public disciplines---integrity, justice, peace, strength, and
prosperity, “in order to” promote responsible-human-independence “to ourselves
and our Posterity”.
However,
Congress, in 1791 imposed a religion-Congress-partnership that defies Genesis
1:27-29 (charging female&male human-beings to constrain chaos on earth),
the 1776 Declaration, the 1787 Constitution, and the 2021 “ourselves and our
Posterity”. We the People of the United
States must revise the First Amendment in order to promote civic integrity
rather than maintain religious chaos.
England
constitutionally preserves a mixed society with lords and commoners, and
Congress wants elitism. According to the 1787 Constitution, fellow citizens
trust-in and commit to the preamble’s proposition and continually improve
statutory justice to achieve the standards our posterity demands. The U.S.
social contract is “to ourselves and our Posterity”. We the People of the
United States can reform, starting with the fellow-citizens in Congress
attending to civic integrity rather than religious chaos.

Politics
seems the art of convincing people you should have the power to govern.
Elected
and appointed political officials are responsible to constrain chaos in the
country. Therefore, they must coach and encourage fellow-citizens to appreciate
and develop responsible-human-independence.
In
political morality, “ourselves and our Posterity” continually improve the rule
of law so as to develop statutory justice by which to constrain and reform
dissident fellow-citizens.

We
always must accept another’s opinion and should not demand
the-ineluctable-truth. Likewise, we may express our opinion without fear,
unless we express arrogance against the-ineluctable-evidence.
For
example, when someone tells me that unless I accept Jesus Christ as my savior
my soul will burn in hell, I respond with kindness, clarity, and sincerity. For
example, I may ask, “Are you certain?”
If
they answer, “It’s my belief” I respond, “It does not apply to me” and wait for
a response. If none, I assume they are thinking.
If
they answer they are certain I respond, “That’s OK for you. I prefer to
maintain sufficient humility toward whatever controls the unfolding of human
events.”
If
they say they are not certain, “I agree, and add. For all we know, Jesus’
message was that the human being can perfect their unique person before death.
That’s how I am spending my time. I develop and practice humble-integrity to
the-ineluctable-truth, most of which is unknown.
It’s
good to often remind the other
party, “I do not know most of the ineluctable-truth.”

Good
government coaches and encourages responsible-human-independence. The U.S.
unconstitutionally imposes the motto “In God We Trust”, the pledge-prayer
“under God”, and oaths of office that attempt to deny responsibly to the
function with “so help me God.”
The
“ourselves and our Posterity” of 2021 must revise the First Amendment so as to
promote civic humble-integrity rather impose religious chaos.
FB

chaos, the U.S. must establish the humble-integrity proffered by the 1787 U.S.
Constitution.

The
ineluctably good citizen neither initiates nor tolerates harm to or from
anyone. If the group he/she is with decides to perpetrate harm, they use their
independence to oppose the plan and report to first responders if the group
demands the liberty to proceed.
Solidarity,
unity, camaraderie, and even collegiality are negative to the
personal-independence that is necessary to develop humble-integrity to the-ineluctable-truth.
Liberty
is erroneously essential to the French mind, and its youth often take to the
streets. In the U.S., freedom-to develop responsible-human-independence is
necessary. The 1787 U.S. Constitution offers the development of the freedom-to
responsibly practice fidelity-to-self but does not license democracy. The
statue in NY Harbor is a gift and the receiver ought to change its name to
“Statue of Independence,” according to the war-victory by France and the
Continental Army the statue commemorates.
The
human-being demands the independence to perfect their unique person during
life, and the government that does not promote individual and corporate
humble-integrity is a tyranny.
(The
U.S. unconstitutionally promotes religion’s chaos, morphed from
factional-American Protestantism recently to Judeo-Christianity, maybe
Judeo-Catholicism. Is the Ethiopian Tewahedo Church included?)

To
Jon Davis:
Mr.
Davis, thank you for your views. I agree that in the U.S. a Muslim can express
faith in Allah, provided U.S. law is observed.
However, the Muslim is not likely to
perceive (hear with comprehension) the Vice President of the U.S. profess faith
in Jesus Christ on January 4, 2021 and then betray his oath the U.S.
Constitution on January 6, 2021, as I perceive Mike Pence did.
For all we know, the Jesus of “before
Abraham I am” is the author of the 4,000 year-old suggestion in Genesis
1:27-28: the higher power charges male&female human species to
independently dominate the other living species and subdue the earth. Either
way, Jesus will not usurp humankind’s responsibility to constrain chaos on
earth---provide peace on earth. It does not aid Pence’s aggression if the-God
of Genesis-1 is Allah. Either way, Pence justified betrayal of the
Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. to demonstrate erroneous religious faith.
This is my motive for demanding U.S. separation
of church from state. If you would like to read a more detailed explanation, I
wrote one recently: see https://www.quora.com/Is-the-profusion-of-disinformation-that-appears-on-the-internet-and-proffered-by-some-commentators-as-truth-bad-for-mental-health/answer/Phil-Beaver-1.
Please continue the conversation if you
want to.
To
Jon Davis again:
Mr. Davis,
I do not consider you argumentative at all. Also, I think
you express yourself well.
I wish I had studied grammar better than I did but do not
regret my focus on chemical engineering. Not one of the vessels I designed,
including potentially dangerous reactors and cargo containers, will blow up,
and some models before me could have.
Trust me when I say I am cautious. For example, even though
I think Jesus was a man who had the special insight that the human being has
the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority
(HIPEA) to develop humble-integrity to the-ineluctable-evidence and thus to
their person. Each person who chooses to develop their human-being can perfect
their unique person. The Church hid Jesus’s message by constructing the case
that he was Israel’s Messiah, but made accessible to gentiles who were chosen
to believe Jesus. And furthermore, through the mystery of one essence with
three provisions, Jesus was the-God of the One-Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy
Ghost.
I think the only remains after my body, mind, and person
stop functioning will be dust and my path to my unique perfection: The best
Phil Beaver his person could develop in the path that he took. I do not think
there was a soul in the ovum Mom produced, in the spermatozoa Dad produced, or
in my single-cell embryo. Just as I had nothing to do with my conception, I
cannot pretend to improve my lifetime accomplishments for my afterdeath.
Knowing I may be wrong, I am prepared for a soul to be
judged in my afterdeath. I am serene in my choice and preparation. However, I
will not share it with another human being: Each person must face the soul
issue on their own.
Civic connections are another matter. And that’s where you
and I are doing very well, in my opinion. Unlike Mike Pence, who would “witness
for Christ” as an excuse for betraying the U.S. Constitution, you and I
understand the proffered U.S. proposition: Responsibly-independent-humans
observe the 5 public disciplines—-integrity, justice, peace, strength, and
prosperity, keeping religion private.
As you said, the 1787 Constitution does not authorize
elected officials to impose their religions on the people. However, the
Congress unconstitutionally imposes religion on the people by the religious
clauses in the First Amendment, part of the Bill of Rights, 1791. We the People
of the United States of 2021 must before 2022 hold Congress and the U.S.
Supreme Court accountable to revise the First Amendment in order to promote civic-integrity
rather than interpretative chaos of “freedom of religion”. While Mike Pence is
only part of a colossal tyranny, the higher power makes the necessity to
separate church from state plain to every human being.
The connection of the dots of tyranny from Genesis 1 to the
1776 Declaration to the 1787 Constitution to the 1791 First Amendment and to
Pence’s betrayal of the U.S. Commander-in-Chief and We the People of the United
States and perhaps the authentic Jesus is shocking. However, it is too plain to
ignore. We must amend the First Amendment so as to require Congress et. al. to
perform as members of We the People of the United states rather than
egotistical-demigods.
Mr. Davis, I did not ask more about your statements, because
I think I comprehended. If my expressions need more explanation, please ask.
Thank you.
To
Jon Davis again:
I appreciate your interest. There’s no enrichment without
thorough conversation for mutual comprehension. If you adopt my opinion rather
than share yours, you cannot aid my quest for statutory justice in the U.S.
Please take the time to read the following 4 documents to review Jon
Davis’s intentions for his civic behavior and spiritual living: 1)
Genesis 1:27-28 and discover if it separates church from state or charges man
with an independent duty---separate from Go, 2) the 1776 Declaration of
Independence as the founders’ acceptance of Genesis 1, 3) the 1787 Constitution
that the 55 delegates framed and only 39 signed (without diminishing the
humble-integrity expressed by the founders), 4) Congress’s 1791 First Amendment
that negated the responsible-human-independence in the first 3 documents. Note
that Genesis reported a 4,000 year-old political philosophy; the 1776
Declaration was for independence from England; the 1787 Constitution was for
domestic order and specified 5 public disciplines, excluding religion, to the
continuum “ourselves and our Posterity” of which we are the 12th
generation; the 1791 First Amendment was for Congress at the expense of the people.
The First Amendment created a religion-Congress partnership that none of the
other documents suggest.
The First Amendment now starts “Congress shall make no law
respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise
thereof”. I would revise it to “Congress shall make no law constraining
opportunity to develop civic integrity”. This revision leaves religious
pursuits an adult, private matter, as it must be.
I do not agree at all with “. . . religion has moral limits
while the government is bound by checks and balances.” Papal moderation
tolerates human abuses like pederasty. The Democrat Party has ignored the U.S.
Constitution for over 12 years now: The Democrats take actions they want,
expecting that Judges will affirm the tyranny. Show me the removal of Joe Biden
or Adam Schiff.

Family
monogamy for life.
About 4,000-years-ago, a political philosopher wrote that
female&male human-beings ought to flourish, have dominion over the other
species, and subdue the earth.
When I met my bride, 53 years ago, I encountered
serene-confidence for the first time in my life. I had the good fortune to
appreciate her and court her. Authenticity is shocking on first encounter! It
took me a quarter-century to accept and glory in her. Her confidence in me
aided self-acceptance.
After 51 years of marriage with 3 children, I am happy to
encourage and coach people who ask: intend fidelity to family-monogamy for life.
All it takes is a female&male who is willing to share humble-integrity,
accept the-ineluctable-truth, and overcome all obstacles. Their children renew
experienced and observed fidelity. (I am still working to learn from them.)
(Note: I have no objections to other kinds of partnerships,
but would never slight authentic female&male. She brings the-good, and he
appreciates, nourishes, and strengthens.)
FB add on: Family
monogamy for life: Consider a 4,000 year old suggestion (Genesis 1:27-28) that
the female&male human-being ought-to independently flourish, take care of
the other living species, and preserve the earth.
Phil
Beaver does not “know.” He trusts in and is committed to the-objective-truth which
can only be discovered. Conventional wisdom has truth founded on reason, but it
obviously does not work.
