escaped, mystified, neglected, obfuscated, rationalized, resisted, revoked, or
voided. Some people erroneously imagine limiting the ineluctable truth, for
example, trying to change it.
"Civic"
refers to citizens who collaborate for individual
happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or
society. Civic citizens neither initiate nor accommodate harm to or from
anyone. Civic citizens are reliably responsible to the good rather than the bad
in connections and transactions.
Consider
writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens
mutual appreciation: For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and
paraphrase its proposal as follows: The civic faction in the United-States-republic
continually improves 6 public practices: integrity, justice, safety, strength,
prosperity, and responsibility --- “in order to” motivate good behavior “to
ourselves and our Posterity” I want to improve my interpretation by listening-to and considering other
citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787 text,
unless it is amended by the civic-people.
It seems the
Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one with status has challenged
whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this
independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states
deliberately managed by appreciative fellow citizens convinces me the preamble
is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the faction who
collaborate for statutory justice, We the People of the United States.
Every citizen
has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in
the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try
somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals.
However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies
grandchildren to both born Americans and legal immigrants. Congressional
freedom of religion, which fellow citizens have no means to constrain,
oppresses freedom to develop integrity. This can be remedied by changing the
First Amendment from “prohibiting” to “promoting”.

political pride, surpassing Abraham Lincoln’s precedent.
On March 4, 1861, Lincoln spoke directly to the 7 states of the CSA, who united
in February: “Why should there not be a patient confidence in the ultimate
justice of the people? Is there any better or equal hope in the world? [The
ineluctable truth of the laws of physics and] justice will surely prevail by
the judgment of [the] great tribunal of the American people.”
Lincoln knew that “the tribunal” rested in the 27 abolition-considering states
– a 27:7 responsibility, authority, and power (RAP) advantage. Lincoln had
political cunning and could not hide logic-bemusement, choosing a series of
weak generals after R. E. Lee foolishly denied Lincoln. The awfulness of civil
war and deaths of 2 sons humbled Lincoln too late.
LSU’s Major General William T. Sherman understood the necessity of total war so
doomed evil-support for slavery in the United States republic.
Trump perceives the evil that pervades the Democrat Party and resists them
gaining control of the Senate against the will of the civic faction. Civic
citizens practice if not articulate the 6 intentions abstractly stated in the
preamble to the United States Constitution.
The Democrat Party doomed itself through stupid-solidarity.
Judeo-Christianity unhappily pursues goodness rather than sacrificial blood.

Long ago Donald J. Trump committed-to diligent humility.
In accepting, "We'll see how it turns out", he
appreciates the civic faction, "We the People of the United States"
republic, as defined by the intentions-predicates "to ourselves and our
Posterity" in the preamble to the Constitution.
Trump treats liars with humor, especially lying reporters,
who are expected to discover ineluctable evidence and pursue the truth for the
public.
Judges, lawyers, politicians, clergy, educators, and others

reflects, "that's what we expected". But we were too busy accepting

Our wonderful daughter told us NOT to take the vaccine; she
said there was no ineluctable evidence of safety.
We chose to not brook reported risk to the elder generation.
Two shots and a booster ruined my formerly good breathing. I speculate; it

In my lifetime, I have encountered many people who scoff at goodness in order

They never ask, what does God think? It never occurs to them to wonder if their
belief is acceptable to God.
Given God or goodness, I don’t doubt goodness. Do you?

Mark can impose opinion on whatever constrains the consequence of human choice.
I prefer the humility, "I don't know", when it comes to these
questions and don't object to your choice for you.

It reminds me of Yeshua, the Galilean political philosopher who shared ideas
with contemporaries 2000 years ago. He advocated Genesis 1:26-27, which informs
female and male humankind each may choose to order life despite earth's chaos.
Acts 15 tells of a meeting between Paul, Peter, James the brother, and John
(see Galatians 2), all messianic Jews. Messianics project Yeshua's life and
execution (17 years earlier) as fulfilment of Hebrew Bible predictions, like in
Isaiah 53.
As the object of discussion, Yeshua may be thought of as present in the
meeting. Also, the vast majority of Jews who still awaited their messiah would
have opposed the consequences of the council: replacing some 613 Mosaic laws
with 3 food restrictions and 1 admonition against fornication.
Greek reports translate Yeshua Iēsous and messiah christos (no capitalization
needed for "anointed"). Europeans couldn't accommodate the Greek
phonics, so changed to Jesus 343 years ago. Long before, promoters converted
christos to a title, now Christ. To deny Yeshua's good influences, some Jews
created the pejorative Yeshu.
Thus, Christianity doesn't exist. It will shock you how much it is merely a
competitive extension of Judaism. Judeo-Christianity didn't happen.
Yeshua never happened. It shocks us how much his influence to goodness never
happened.

I may be the most fortunate man in Baton Rouge.
Cynthia's body and mind stopped functioning on May 17, 2025.
It was horrible. I cried uncontrollably for 2 hours, unaware of the horror
others in the family were suffering. Realizing that our daughters needed the
laundry room, I arose to go clear my drying and move the washing.
These 15 months since then have made me feel closer to
Cynthia than ever before. She influences me daily. Also, I see her more clearly
through our daughters. I would not be having these experiences if Cynthia had
not so marvelously impacted people.
Spouses may and can choose to be good to each other
regardless of the freight trains they encounter on the journey. And thanks
goodness for our daughters.

I think medical doctors would come in at 239K. Some of them,
perhaps the majority, allowed their industrial complex to dissuade them from
ancient Greece's "first do no harm". My doctors are not in that
group: I am lucky to be alive, thanks to them and their nurses. I suspect my doctors
are not happy with public appearances such as Fauci hearings next week.
But there's more to it than money.
Somehow, senior seminar in ChE at the University of Tennessee instilled in me
the following line of thought.
We are authorizing you to pursue the practice of chemical engineering. You are
obligated to us to make certain nothing you help design, install, start-up, and
operate to blow up: you are to prevent injury to person or property. When I
feel adequate, I send money to the John Prado fund for cooperative engineering
scholarship programs. It is the contingent beneficiary on my life insurance.
I was 5 years into my career when I realized, "Holy smoke; I'm expected to
have the knowledge to tell them how to proceed." From then on, I read the
literature, then applied the principles to produce the publicly-needed chemical
without risking harm. I served one great company for 35 years, and as far as I
know, none of my contributions blew up. (John, update me on that if needed.)
In retirement, I have pursued awareness of what constrains human choice, and
wonder if it is not the laws of physics and progeny. I do not expect to
discover the ineluctable truth before I pass away.
Hoping to qualify as a civic citizen of the world, about 3 weeks ago, thanks to
Cynthia's influence and my curiosity about Judeo-Christian religion, I
discovered a useful expression, "I trust in g-d", am sticking to it,
and daily share the thought with others: In g-d We Trust. So far, people seem
to like the civic humility of it.

I don't know your story, and yet I do.
I was lucky enough to fall in love with Cynthia Ann Marionneux, a Louisiana
French-Catholic woman teaching school.
She did not fear marrying a Baptist boy from Knoxville Tennessee. I later
learned she had no fear.
In about 1986, I asked her the difference between God and Jesus. She said they
are one and the same. I asked her to explain John 6:38-29, which my Baptist
Sunday-school class had just studied for a half hour.
Cynthia answered, "It's a mystery I would not try to explain".
Today, I urge every person to adopt the motto, "In g-d We Trust". In
every civic literature we encounter, think g-d when we see or hear
"God", while in civil doctrine think the divinity that is cited.
In so doing, believers and non-believers may unite as civic citizens and civil
believers. Otherwise psychological violence like you express will continue.
Violent believers can become civic once they realize their doctrine may not be
acceptable to the g-d. Believers and non-believers may choose humility to the
g-d, whatever it may be.

About 15 years ago, I noticed that AP is biased against the
civic faction --- people who, without debate, live so as to preserve each
other's opportunity to pursue good which motivates goodness.
Therefore, I stopped subscribing to Baton Rouge's newspaper "The
Advocate".
For all I know, that choice led to my recent discovery that the motto, "In
g-d We Trust" could influence more humility among believers, whatever
their personal doctrine may be.

collaborate to motivate passives, abide spirituals, influence
dissidents/rebels, constrain criminals, discourage wickeds, and annihilate

Europeans can't seem to grasp that the civic faction in the
United States republic accepts responsibility, authority, and power (RAP) to

independence may and can be practiced in cities, counties, districts, states,
and nations. In each of his 3 presidential election wins, he carried 85% of
counties.
There will always be a faction of groups who want to apply France's 1789 bloody
reign of terror enhanced with Marx's 1840 collectivism by people who pretend
they might overthrow the civic faction. Lately, it's the Muslim Brotherhood
boldly touting Communism. In any European country, maybe. In America, no, as
has been shown repeatedly.
I think Europeans suffer America derangement syndrome, ADS. If they got past
TDS, they might find a cure for ADS.
A characteristic of European ADS and TDS is the inability to
stay on topic. For example, rather than address RAP, one sympathizer asked
about a vague Trump loss in a federal court.
Again,
I visit there to observe and enjoy family history and expand

cousin, social democracy?
Pure capitalism involves the possibility of failure. That's good when it's for
progress. For example, land phones have pretty much been replaced by Internet
services. However, some products and services are essential. ("Too
big" to fail seems a fallacy, as in the land-phone case.) Some products
and services are essential, so good government aids the free market, creating a
mixed economy.
The Trump administration asserts and effects re-establishment of the United
States republic's independence from Chinese, Russian, and EU global aggressions
to dominate trade. For example, the administration aids domestic companies who
undertake the challenges of supplying precious metals. The administration is
re-establishing domestic production of pharmaceuticals. Also, the
administration is using tariffs to counter aggressive policies by other
nations, for example, using slave labor to create profit. Trump wanted to save
Spirit Airlines but could not, in order to uphold the law.
In early 2016, the Obama administration sent Iran $1.7 billion in legal settlement
consisting of $400 million paid the U.S. before 1979 for undelivered military
goods, plus about $1.3 billion interest.
In 2026, the Trump administration is trying to constrain Iran's aggression in
nuclear warfare and oil supply to China. The cost to the Trump administration,
so far, might be $630 billion. Adding the Obama expenditure without interest,
we're at $631.7.
But Iran has neither nuclear program nor capable missiles. Interference in oil
markets remains, so far. Middle Eastern nations are more involved. The EU may
take a position.
I never trashed the Obama administration, saying to Cynthia, “At least the
progressives are getting their chance.” I had no idea it was social democracy
and communism and doubt Obama was aware. He simply enjoyed the EU support.
I write to learn so hope for feedback.
Many Saturday nights we took a room at the Holiday Inn Express at Cecelia, LA,
had dinner in Breaux Bridge; danced to Geno Delafose and French Rockin Boogie
at Whisky River Landing; then danced to whomever was playing breakfast at Cafe
Les Amis (then); and next went to Grant Street Dance hall for Steve Riley &
The Mamou Playboys or Beau Jocque (rip) and The Zydeco Hi-Rollers or another
band. On one return, Cynthia was dozing when we reached the tire-rattling part
of the Mississippi River Bridge. She said, "You're following to
close." I responded, "I'm passing this car and you're waking up in a
night mare". She said, "You're the nightmare".
That's what happens when the children are on their own and the couple at last
has time for romance. I am the luckiest man alive and recognize Cleve's

We are beginning the second 250 years’ declaration of
independence from England, 243 years’ revolutionary victory, and 234 years as
United States republic. It is fitting to make some fundamental improvements
toward statutory justice. Here are four suggestions.
First, revise the religion clauses of the First Amendment to
“promoting” instead of “prohibiting”, ending contradictions. As you point out,
tax exemption establishes and promotes religion. Further, religion, (doctrinal
speculation about constructed mystery) must be prohibited when it opposes
criminal or civil law/code. Also, the military ought to provide psychological
assistance to soldiers without religious doctrine, which is often internally
conflicted. For example, Quaker doctrine would accommodate aggressors, foreign
or domestic, to destroy this nation.
Second, publicize the actual-reality that the intentions
thought in the preamble to the Constitution defines We the People of the United
States. The civic faction stays informed, votes to establish and maintain
national good which motivates goodness, and defends the republic against social
democracy. The republic’s goals are: integrity, justice, safety, strength, prosperity, and
responsibility.
Inhabitants who are unaware of the preamble are subjects and not citizens.
That’s why they feel estranged in their own country. “Civic” expresses mutual
aid to the opportunity to choose goodness, whereas “civil” means subjugation to
the rules and laws.
Third, publicize that religion does not trump the laws of physics and progeny
(economics, biology, and psychology, for examples) by legislating the change to
“g-d” instead of “God” in future national codes. The purpose is to express
national humility to whatever caused the laws of physics rather than express
the will to influence reality using worship and praise.
Fourth, influence fellow nations to promote civic intentions
while developing statutory justice. That is, when a law effects injustice,
develop and legislate amendment that facilitates good which motivates goodness.
That is only a taste of what may and can be accomplished during the next 250
years.

There’s a reason there are 10,000 Gods on earth: churches
preserve mystic, in order to survive discovery. Churches could aid curiosity and
Homo sapiens research for improvements for living. Churches persuade believers:

desires. When integrity motivates a person to accept whatever causes physics,

It angers me that stupid professors express opinion in sly
ways. Professors might take notice that the public includes the civic faction.

sex, there are 3 possibilities: male, female, and intersex. Intersex happens
about 5 in 10,000 chromosome pairings. Within intersex there are variations,

isn't classified as binary".
For all we know, the idea of virgin births in humans came from primitive
observation of parthenogenesis in lesser species: the female gestates her egg
without fertilization.
Unlike sex, gender is a social concept based on perception of typical Homo
sapiens behavior. Women talk vital concerns while men talk women, sports,
hunting, and such.
Typical females have capacity for routine care to people beyond their family,
while men aid only in emergency. The authentic male regards the female as a
crowd, with the potential to generate 400 viable ova during her fertile years.
He will neither threaten her nor the egg(s) she may be carrying. However, the
typical male is not that caring, because neither professors nor religions
educate students. The female and male couple may choose to accept the laws of

Talking about FIFA, Donald Trump said sporting events allow

It's a micro view of life. A newborn has to live a complete life to learn
whether they're person is a winner or loser. Fortunately, the winners lead.

from primitive fear of the cosmos’s badness to the United States Constitution’s
commitment to pursue goodness. On Aug 2, I reviewed philosophers who urged
goodness. On Aug 5, I presented the likelihood that Yeshua of Galilee was only
a man yet the first to realize that each person may and can pursue perfect
goodness until they die. In this post, I assert that the world’s chaos is
caused by factions who do not accept that perfect living is the consequence of
accepting without objection whatever constrains the consequences of human
choice, in order to humbly research the laws of physics and how to benefit from
usage.
Here’s what we may know about research:
1. Research
discovers the laws of physics and applications for goodness.
2. Research
facilitates safety and economic viability.
3. Physics
constrains psychology.
4. Humility
reforms tradition.
Religion preserves mystery and thus attempts to change, avoid, or
resist discovery. Human beings are the civic animals who are charged with order
on earth. “Civic” means able and intent to mutually preserve opportunity to
choose goodness and constrain badness.
Rather than terminate the social support provided by church and state,
humankind may and can pursue good that motivates goodness, and that is the
intention stated by the United States republic, in the preamble to its
Constitution.
It's up to believers and citizens, at least the civic faction, to require
humility in church and state.

primitive fear of the cosmos’s badness to the United States Constitution’s
commitment to pursue goodness. Then on Aug 2, I reviewed philosophers who urged
goodness. In this post, I will list some of the factors that repress Yeshua’s
influence.
Good ideas expressed before 2400 years ago were sidelined by
competitive monotheism. Yeshua personally influenced political philosophy and
by 1900 years ago was obfuscated under the Greek translation christos for
Hebrew mashiach, a physical king.
Paul’s Christian Church projected a sacrificial, mystic-savior onto the
predicted Hebrew mashiach king, suppressing Yeshua’s
political influence to goodness. The physical christos became a divine title,
Christos. God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit became the Trinity competing with
Yahweh. Judeo-Christianity and other Semitic-cultures contributed to the
consequence that today there are over 10,000 named Gods.
Individuals and societies may and can practice humility by constraining
personal curiosity to good which motivates goodness. Here are details about a
Jewish physical-king versus a Christian spirit.

to attempt to construct a government or a religion that might usurp the RAP to
pursue order on earth, which is assigned to every human being

It seems obvious that Mr. President opines that humble humor is the way to
persuade the arrogant free-press to appreciate the civic faction in the United
States republic. “Civic” refers to mutually preserving each other’s opportunity
to choose goodness (notwithstanding civilities like political-swamp or
religion).
Trump considers the civic faction worldwide yet puts the preamble’s “We the
People of the United States” first.
During the recent 3 presidential elections, the percentage of counties-or-equal
who voted for Trump was 86%, 85.2%, and 85%, respectively. Meanwhile news
reports that were negative to Trump were 77%, 92%, and 92%, respectively. So
15% of counties reject the 8% of news that is favorable to Trump; fake news
vainly attempts to empower the 15% misguided or deranged residents. Last, fake
news did not have a clue.
I once wrote many letters-to-the editor, lamely pursuing civic integrity.
Often, I submitted many revisions before I found words the much-appreciated
editor would accept. One time, I wrote “creator” in many revisions, and the
editor finally confirmed and published but used “Creator”. I called to complain
about a breach of a 2-decades silent dialogue. He said, “Readers don’t realize
it’s freedom of the press, not freedom of the writer.” Soon, I ended my some 50
years’ subscription. Grateful to my editor-friend, I visited him in hospital
and commented at his funeral. None of the attending press seemed to understand.
On their last solicitation, I told them my only hope for them is that they go
bankrupt.
I fault journalism schools, such as LSU’s Manship School, where I studied under
the great Jack Hamilton.
The phrase “the ineluctable truth” was published in 1906, and still journalism
has not informed the public that “ineluctable” refers to evidence that can
neither be changed, nor avoided, nor resisted (CAR). Judges, lawyers, the
clergy, and “educators” seem to hide the word “ineluctable”. The press is free
to report this tyranny over the minds of people: publicize

Last night, at the WHCA dinner, the C-SPAN camera-person panned some attendees
who seemed visceral/tortured as Trump spoke. I think I perceive the same order
of pain when honoree Kaitlan Collins interviews Mr. President. People like
Collins don’t seem to imagine the civic faction pursues CAR evidence. The civic
faction pities fake reporters. The civic faction promotes freedom of speech,
because it enables them to discover liars.

I recently tried to return as friend (but non-believer trusting both

persuaded me to attend nearly 5 decades ago. During the recent 5 years, I
discovered I am and always was "unchurched". I remain a friend to the
church members yet no longer attend. I could go there for an event without
denying that I am unchurched.
Many neighbors promote a mystery. Long ago, I accepted that Mom's body produced
and advanced to her fallopian tube the egg Dad inseminated to conceive, without
my influence, my person. Likewise, I have no influence on my afterdeath ---
that vast time after personal body and mind stop functioning.
I accept without objection the Hebrew Bible's message in Ecclesiastes 3:20 --
“All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return.”
Only since I became unchurched, November 2, 2025, did I realize that my quest
for civic integrity in the community is constrained by "God". Today,
I admit to a religious brick wall: the constructed mystery of soul, made
doctrine. At the same time, the Church would impose "dust to dust"
and sacrifice to an eternal soul. But actual-reality, whatever it is, knows
what I think and expects me to express it with integrity. I think a human
being’s quest ends upon death of body and mind.

my curiosity, I chose “unchurched”, accepting that I was always attracted to
Yeshua’s influence to good which motivates goodness.
Perhaps at age 10, I had read the last two verses of the “New Testament” and
thought: no influencer weak enough to want to threaten me can be “my Lord”.
Only today, at age 83, do I realize I was addressing ancient John of Patmos or
other author of Revelations. Moreover, I trust-in and commit-to the laws of
physics and progeny, including mathematics, economics, biology, and psychology
(in short, physics), and would like civic citizens to embrace the motto, “In
g-d We Trust” as humility rather than pride.
I think Judeo-Christianity has the most potential to order
life on earth, because of Yeshua’s influence to good which motivates goodness.
He read the Hebrew Bible and affirmed Genesis 1:26-27, which implies that
physics holds female and male human-beings responsible, authorized, and
empowered to order life on earth. First century Greek literature, developed
after Yeshua was executed, reports that he encouraged listeners to perfect
order in their personal conduct. See Matthew 5:48.
Yeshua’s influence is diminished by four powerful movements,
each grounded in the Semitic-speakers’ literature which is recorded in the
Hebrew Bible.
First, in Mesopotamian society patriarchy, was assigned to
the first-born male. (DNA informs us that lineage follows the female sequence:
everyone alive is a descendant of a woman who lived perhaps 200,000 years ago,
and there is no continuity to an Adam.)
Second, a Semitic-speaking patriarch, Terah, with 3rd born son,
Abraham, left Ur to escape blood sacrifice to gods. Abraham’s religious
blood-sacrifice transitioned from humans to animals then was preserved by
Hebrew-speaking grandsons, Esau and Jacob. Esau’s descendants, Edomites,
eventually assimilated with the Arabic-branch of Semitic-speaking peoples.
Third, when Hebrew-speaking Israelites continually failed
obedience to Abrahamic doctrine, the Judean branch predicted a national savior,
a messiah. A small faction of Israelites projected the executed-Yeshua onto the
messianic predictions. Orthodox Jews rejected the construct so radically that
Yeshua the 2000 year ago Galilean became a non-entity in their literature.
Fourth, the self-promoted entrepreneur, ancient Paul, developed pagan churches
in various cities. Paul taught believers to rely on their doctrine to develop
their church. Their church became lord, rendering Yeshua a non-entity among
believers.
In my quest to share curiosity in churches, I assumed that other participants
wanted all the help they could get. However, when my wonderful wife died, the
experiences informed me that church cliques subject themselves to certainty

It is justifiable and good to now celebrate 243 years’
independence from England. Also, we may examine 234 years as the United States

First, revise the religion clauses of the First Amendment to

religion at the expense of people who have faith in reality. The military ought

my ignorance and I'm working on it.
Reared by competing Baptists, I have, for 83 years, maintained doubting pride
in Thomas Jefferson’s 1802-dated letter to the Danbury Connecticut Baptists.
They feared state-sponsorship of Congregationalists. I was mistakenly proud
that early Baptists had a hand in clarifying “separation of church and state”.
Berardino’s introduction to Ibn Warraq plus my inquisitiveness opened my eyes
to the reality that Jefferson, in fact, imposed religion on the United States
republic of 1791! He extended the harm to the states which he wrote into the
Declaration of Independence the imposition of mystic onto goodness.
Goodness affirm the laws of physics and its progeny, such as mathematics,
economics, biology, psychology, and ethics. Religion uses "faith" to
bemuse personal integrity.
In the DoE, Jefferson exposes conflict with reason vs faith. Jefferson altered
John Locke's "life, liberty, and property" to "life, liberty,
and the pursuit of happiness", hiding argument that a person should be
able to keep what she or he earned.

consequences of human choice has no need-for and may not respond-to altars. Worship
and praise is for believers, and among modern humans perhaps 2 of 3 or 6.7
billion people worship and praise their doctrinal God. Consequently there are
perhaps 10,000 Gods, some of which may not survive eternity.
I want to borrow from the post, “urgently recover our civilizational
self-confidence” and replace it with “establish civic self-confidence”. “Civic”
expresses subjects of the rule of law collaborating to appreciate and preserve
each other’s opportunity to pursue good which motives goodness (borrowing our
daughter’s goodness-phrase). Civic citizens collaborate to improve statutory
justice in the laws that govern United States subjects. Civic citizens of the
world collaborate for peace, making violence-perpetrators dreaded subjects and
making terrorists civilly expendable. Nations need not impose religion on
goodness to justify war.
With my reformed view of “separation of church and state” it’s plain that the
religion clauses in the First Amendment contradict each other. Quoting the
clauses, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,
or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” When religion opposes either the
United States republic or the ineluctable laws of physics, it must be
prohibited. For example, the notion that travel to Mars is forbidden, because
the planets are in “heaven” cannot stand: Earth is a planet and not the center
of the universe. A sensible 1st-Amendment-revision results from changing
“prohibiting” to “promoting”. Since the Secretary of War includes “No Religion”
in the codes for religious counselling, the revised First Amendment would
suffice.
To further express appreciation and humility to whatever constrains the
consequences of human choices, the national motto may and can be changed to “In
g-d We Trust”; from exclusive pride to inviting humility. And Lee Greenwood
could appreciate what-is for all civic humans by changing his song title to

re-think.
I
now propose that you direct the faith office to improve the republic’s
motto-change from “In God We Trust” to my suggestion, “We Commit to Diligent
Humility”.
The archives show the motto-struggle I have gone through. Finally, my motto suggestion
briefly describes your performance as President, in my opinion.
To
describe diligent humility as it seems you perform, I perceive six practices:
work smart, defend and use the Constitution, keep the mind open to ineluctable
evidence more than to emotions, serve the civic people as defined by the
preamble, confront in words and deeds the ever-present media lies, yet avoid

my August 3 message, I had accepted that my neologism, “g-d”, was only slightly
less proudly humble than “G-d”, to express whatever constrains the consequences
of human choice. Then I requested you to influence Congress to change the motto
from “In God We Trust” to “in goodness we trust”. (Borrowing words from our
daughter, Rebekah, I pursue good which motivates good behavior, including
aiding the annihilation of evil.)
I
now recognize that “goodness” would not please Americans as well as “g-d”, in
order to lessen the exclusiveness of “God”. The republic’s motto should and
could represent non-believers and believers.
I
thanked you for your humility and humor. In retrospect, I recognize that
humility is the practice I pursue and commend. Therefore, I revise my request.
Please present to your faith office the responsibility to sponsor an Executive

evening, I met with Ehsan Sadeghpour, who, with wife and son, at church, tried
diligently to teach me how to say, “good morning”, in Farsi. It’s like “soap
bechaihkr” with phonics that almost hide the “ch” and the “kk”. After perhaps
20 lessens, I still can’t use the phonics. Perhaps I can’t hear it, after so
many years practicing American phonics.
We
talked last evening for about an hour. Ehsan appreciates how much I care about
them and about his wife’s sister, in Teheran. I want the Farsi-speaking people
in Iran to help the world appreciate their denied-opportunity to choose
goodness on earth. Perhaps their only practice is goodness, excluding violence,
