paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual appreciation: For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and
paraphrase it for my interpretation of its proposal as follows We the People of the United States proffer &
practice 5 public disciplines —- integrity, justice, peace, strength, and
prosperity, “in order to” encourage & facilitate
responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity”. I want to improve my interpretation by listening to
other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787,
text, unless it is amended by the people.
It seems the
Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one has challenged whether or
not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this
independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states
deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble
is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who
collaborate for human justice.
Every citizen
has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in
the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try
somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the
goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies
grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to
discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.

I’m receiving a passel of questions about “human rights”. In
my perception, the only right a human-being can demand of another is the right
to constrain chaos in personal-living regardless of the other’s practices. I
don’t know the-ineluctable-truth. (Study “ineluctable” then apply it to
the-truth.)
The people who wrote “. . . Nature's God . . . their Creator with certain unalienable
Rights . . . Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness . . .” were politely
opposing the Church of England’s Trinity and rebuking John Locke’s “Life,
Liberty, and Property” where “property claims a human-being is Locke-God’s
property and thereby unassailable. The founders declared religious pursuit to
personal-privacy.
But what nation or God can warrant life, independence, property, or the pursuit
of happiness? I omit “liberty” because it has been proven to be the mob&
tyrant’s license to take fellow-citizens’ heads, blood, property: their all.
Necessity& justice demand that we fellow-citizens
constrain chaos in our way of living so the collective of civic citizens have
the chance to constrain dependent-fellow-citizens so as to preserve human
viability. “Civic” means practicing humble-integrity in human-connections. And
integrity means responsibly earning your way of living and paying taxes. Taxes
cover the infrastructure for constitutional-law enforcement plus research to
establish and maintain statutory justice.
By persuading the entity We the People of the United States
to debate human-rights, the elites in government pick our pockets with
immunity, never fearing that we might require them to demonstrate the
humble-integrity that is required for responsible-human-independence (RHI).

I appreciate the opportunity to address your question. In my
fourth quarter-century my mentors are a fraction of my age. When I was a father
to 3 children with my wife of now 52 years, I read Kahlil Gibran’s short poem “On
Children” and reared our 3 children in appreciation of their intentions to
address the world of 2021 rather than follow me as in 1980. Now, my children stay
ahead of me daily. I could not survive without them. Don’t get me wrong I am
not dependent. However, I cannot contend with the daily problems they take in
stride. The understand 2021s divergent chaos but are not impressed with it. Yet
they pay their taxes.
My wife and I stopped smoking together, cold-turkey, in
1972, when we became convinced it would kill us --- diminish our intentions to
care for our children and any grandchildren for life. In 2018, I felt alcoholic
beverage-habits were killing me, and I quit, cold turkey. The next time we had
a grand dinner (shrimp linguini, avocado& tomato salad, and garlic&
olive-oil toast), I offered to open a bottle of red for her only, and she said,
“No, thanks, I gave it up”. Astounding wit! I put on Billy Joel “Scenes from an
Italian Restaurant” for nostalgia. Last Friday, upset with medical-administration’s
carelessness for my wife’s future and my chest pains, I made the personal
commitment that frustration would never affect me again. My children set the
example.
The sentiment Gibran expressed comes full circle when the
appreciative parent& neighbor approaches completion.

I don’t know the-ineluctable-truth and think your question
pertains to Western political philosophy. The short and simple is that the
American woman, beginning in 1919 (modernism), lessened their reliance on 1) authentic
man and 2) religious hope. Abandonment to single-motherhood after 1953
(postmodernism) invited chaos. The remedy is for men, and now women, to
reform to their authenticity. If you don’t need my construct, that’s fine.
Skipping prior evolution, the current human-being, homo sapiens, seems about 300
thousand-years-old. About 5 thousand years ago, a political philosopher
suggested, in 2021 terms: female& male-human-being can independently
provide order& prosperity to living species and to the world. Infidelity
and chaos would not be consistent with that suggestion. About 3 thousand years
ago, Hebrew scholars expressed the suggestion as the-God’s blessing to
female& male-human-being. (“The-God” is my 2021 expression for whatever
controls the outcome of human behavior, perhaps the laws of physics; in no way
would I presume to know or bind myself to 3 thousand-year-old opinion about 5
thousand-year-old metaphysics.) About 25
hundred years ago the Greeks suggested that necessity& justice require the
civic-citizen to neither initiate nor accommodate harm/injury to-or-from any
person or association including family. About 1660 years ago, diverse churches
canonized the Holy Bible, which reviews the above mentioned literary-history
and adds the metaphysical Jesus, the-God to those humans who are chosen by
the-God to believe Jesus. According to the Apostle John, the un-chosen hate Jesus,
hate his disciples, and hate the-God (John 15:18-23). About 500 years ago,
Protestant Bibles were canonized. The unintended consequences of each
canonization is that Genesis 1 expresses the 5 thousand year old suggestion
that femal& male are responsible for peace on earth, and the rest of the
Holy Bible is a report on the consequences of non-performance: infidelity.
Regardless, Western-European thinkers led the reformation
that challenged the Roman-Catholic Trinity (Father, Jesus, and Holy Ghost) and motivated
England’s constitutional provision of a Protestant monarchy in 1689’s Bill of
Rights. John Locke, early Calvinist and later perhaps Deist, was instrumental
in this change. His Locke-God-given-rights were “life, liberty, and property”,
where each human-being, or at least each man, was Locke-God property and
therefore unassailable by any person or institution including self. Scholars
discounted physics by labeling it nature and counting reason as more reliable.
The founders of the uSA, in their 1776 declaration of war
for independence from England, cited “Nature’s God” for authority to defend
themselves against the English Trinity and rebuked Locke by amending his claim
to human-rights as “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”. The
framers of the 1787 U.S. constitution upheld the separation of church and state
by proffering 5 domestic disciplines --- integrity, justice, peace, strength,

of the governed” when none of the 99% Protestant voters of 1789 complained
(voters being some 5% of the 80% free-faction).
Skip the industrial age and more, to women’s suffrage,
passed by Congress in 1919, and on to the Kinesey Reports of 1948 and 1953, and
I think you have modernity, or the social break from Chapter XI Machiavellianism
that empowers religion-dominance in politics. Even though finding an authentic
man (who would care for her and her viable ova for life) was difficult for the
authentic woman, women began to free themselves from dependency on either
religion for hope and comfort or one man for happiness. It was an unfortunate-reaction
to 4,932 years’ male dominance.
Without the sacrificial-caring power of the female, the
chaos of irresponsibility has produced exponential chaos-divergence in the past
68 years. Whereas modernism denied the-ineluctable-truths suggested in
humankind’s literature, including the Bible’s metaphysics, postmodernism states
the arrogance that female&male-human-being can avoid, change, and resist
constraint, whether physics or metaphysics. If the needed-reform started now, I
think an achievable better future would be perceived in about 84 years.

I study the Constitution often and am not aware of any rights
it grants beyond a citizen’s right to join the entity We the People of the
United States as defined in the preamble to the U.S. Constitution.
In my 2021 view, the preamble reads like this: We the People
of the United States who want to practice integrity, justice, peace, strength,
and prosperity proffer this constitution “in order to” encourage&
facilitate responsible-human-independence (RHI) “to ourselves and our
Posterity”.
No standards are offered for the 5 domestic disciplines or RHI,
and the disciplines do not include religion. We the People of the United States is the committed-faction who encourage& facilitate the totality.
Thus, the only right I perceive reliable is the right to
join We the People of the United States. The “rights” tacked on by Congress in
the Bill of Rights are obviously neither supportable nor valid to RHI.
That’s why they are so contested in 2021, perhaps a year of reckoning for
Congressional-tyranny in the USA.

I’ll first set the parameters for my response: The collective that attempts to deny
responsible pursuit of personal-happiness is in conflict.
First, your scope is human-being, its latest& exclusive
mutation, homo sapiens, about 300
thousand years into psychological evolution. Psychology is a subset of
the phenomena that emerge& develop according to the-laws-of-physics. (The
hyphens invite the reader not to disassemble the phrase and its meaning: the
necessity& justice that exists and human-beings may discover. Also, the
“word1& word2” syntax expresses mutual requirement under the laws of
physics; “civic” refers to humble-integrity in human-connections.
Humble-integrity means accepting& admitting “I don’t know” when that is so.)
My presentation may seem peculiar; it is the product of intention to find words
and phrases that seem reliable to the experiences& observations of most
human-beings, no matter where they are in their journey to chronological&
psychological maturity-to their unique person.
Civic-integrity requires fidelity to the-ineluctable-evidence.
“Ineluctable” means “not to be avoided, changed, or resisted”, merriam-webster.com.
Research, appreciating& preserving the-ineluctable-evidence, leads to
the-objective-truth (negative or positive). With ultimately-required
instruments of perception, research may approach the-ineluctable-truth.
Note: “ineluctable” was used in translation from ancient,
foreign words in 1571, infrequently since then, and “the ineluctable truth” was
used in 1906 and sparingly since. Among educators and such, the usages should
be well-warn for reliability versus vagaries like “fundamental truth” or
“Truth”. I prefer the accuracy, precision, and specificity of
“the-ineluctable-truth” and shop for an improvement: Please share it. But why
isn’t “ineluctable” a common word and “ineluctable truth” well known?
The human-being is born totally ignorant and may be
encouraged& coached into 5 critical acceptances: 1) being human-being
rather than assuming an opposite such as animal, plant, mineral, “soul” or
“incarnation”; 2) responsibility to choose humble-integrity; 3) intending&
practicing responsible-human-independence (RHI) rather than dependency; 4) the
individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA)
to constrain chaos in personal-behavior; and 5) humankind has had less than 10
billion person-years to develop, yet the newborn has less than a century to
perfect their unique person. Thus, whereas necessity& justice seem to

cannot be accommodated unto personal-habit.
Unfortunately, the world’s Education Departments resist the
principals suggested above. They serve governments so as to develop “the
workers we need” (Barack Obama, 2012). Consequently humankind is divided into 2
factional collectives: individuals who fortunately pursue RHI with/without the
empowering articulations, and persons who resist the necessary civic-integrity;
fellow citizens who pursue either 1) civic-life or 2) dependency. Dependency is
made possible by psychological variations: awareness, intelligence, knowledge,
unavoidable-dependency, gullibility, cunning, egocentricity, wealth etc.
The civic citizen separates state from church and therefore
need-not share any spiritual interests they may-or-may-not pursue: they happily
debate parallel-political-viewpoints that conserve individual-opportunity for
personal-happiness rather than impose a collective metaphysic. They always
struggle for mutual opportunity for private-happiness and therefore never
“agree to disagree” or otherwise stonewall fellow-citizens. Dependent fellow
citizens who cause/accommodate harm/injury need reform --- from indolence,
infidelity, crime, tyranny, evil, and worse. Civic citizens fund constitutional
law-enforcement plus research toward ever-improving statutory justice. Utopia
or other totalitarianism is unexpected let alone unwanted.
I now feel positioned to respond to your question: First, the
individual is born into a conflicted totality and therefore has self-interest
in responsible-independence. Second, most persons practice necessity&
justice in order to aid mutual, comprehensive safety& security: survival
seems viable. Third, no entity will usurp the human-being’s

I received the email-question “Do you think all citizens should have the same rights?”
Yes, I do. There’s only one human right: the opportunity to
constrain chaos in personal behavior.
Female& male-human-being is the only species with the
awareness and grammar by which to live without chaos. Consequently,
necessity& justice require them to independently provide order&
prosperity to life in this world. By “independently” I mean that neither
government nor the power that controls the consequences of human action will
usurp responsible-human-independence (RHI).
This is not at all a novel suggestion. It was expressed in
colloquialism, 5 thousand years ago in the Middle East. The suggestion was
interpreted by a Hebrew scribe 2 thousand years later, in Genesis 1:26-28. The
rest of the worlds’ Bible canon express the consequences of infidelity in
female-male intimacy. In Genesis 2, Adam does not appreciate Eve and they beget
twins destined for murder. Fourteen generations later, Sara suspects she is
infertile and suggests surrogate conception, gestation, and delivery by Hagar.
Then Sara has a boy, creating a divided family. The chaos escalates over the
rest of the Bible. Now, 2 thousand years later, humankind’s division is
divergent.
The male fidelity to female and vice versa suggested in
Genesis 1:28 never took. The suggestion came in the recent 5 thousand years of
300 thousand years since hominids branched to homo sapiens.
Since then only one culture was proffered that comports to
the Genesis-1 political philosophy. Together, the uSA’s 1776 declaration of
independence from England and the 1787 U.S. domestic order framed in the
constitution proffer 5 domestic disciplines --- integrity, justice, peace,
strength, and prosperity, “in order to” encourage& facilitate the
humble-integrity that is required for responsible-human-independence “to

I don’t know the-ineluctable-truth. I think
the-good (purpose) and the-right (justice) cannot be separated by a human-being,
so it’s best to aim for both. There are 3 aspects of being-in the-right:
intention, awareness, and practice. Balancing them requires a psychology of
humility: intention to be both good and right, awareness that there may be
differing viewpoints, and actions to satisfy both views; always.
It takes about a quarter-century for a newborn to acquire
the comprehension and intention to live a complete human lifetime. By complete,
I mean perfecting their unique person. That is, achieving their personal-perfection,
not universal perfection. People say “Be all you can be”.
The encouraged& coached human-being may in adolescence
accept that they have the individual power, the individual energy, and the
individual authority (HIPEA) to develop either humble-integrity or
egocentricity. [The ‘word1& word2” syntax indicates mutual requirement.] I
discuss intentional egocentricity below.
The discouraged and un-coached youth is likely to become an egocentrically
dependent-adult, perhaps never discovering HIPEA. Yet it is possible for them
to rise above their youth and accept the self-interest of using
humble-integrity in-order-to develop personal-integrity. This human-miracle is
not possible in seclusion, because the-ineluctable-truth is written on the
faces and expressed by the voices the person connects with in daily living. The
person who is born into injustice cannot consider departure until he or she has
encountered justice. Thus, either by early coaching or by civic-connections
each person may develop civic responsible-human-independence (RHI),
founded in humble-integrity. But not every person is civic.
The person who unfortunately uses HIPEA for egocentricity
becomes a dependent: indolent, abuser, infidel, criminal, tyrant, evil, or
worse: a fellow-citizen who needs reform and begs constraint or isolation.
Because these principals are not promoted by Education
Departments, we live in a confused world that utilizes plausible-truths –-
usually falsehoods --- as assumptions for action. An unfortunate, dedicated
driver with a rider whose illness or injury is life threating has another
passenger waving hands, blinks headlights, and honks horn to pass, and the
unfortunate driver in front flashes into road rage and maneuvers to stay in
front at a slowed pace. Or a patient requesting information about their medical
care has been turned away before and now won’t accept “No” for an answer; the health-agent
asserts he/she has not the authority to help: the patient has the option to leave,
again without an answer or ask for a boss. Daily, many wrong actions are taken.
Being right is the difficult part, and errors are bound to happen. It takes two
to be both good and right in human connections.
I prefer to be good, always, persist without frustration,
and if stonewalled, depart with goodwill to assert the right in another time
and human-connection. I intend to never break this self-reliance: civic
frustration will not invade my person. I hope to satisfy both the-good and
the-right.

No. That’s a political construct concocted by Englishman
John Locke, d. 1704. The uSA founders rebuked Locke’s politics when in 1776’s
declaration of war for independence they, formerly loyal British subjects,
claimed human rights under “Nature’s God” rather than the English Trinity:
life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They claimed religious freedom was
one of the reasons they had left their homelands, be it England or another
European country with religious oppression.
Shockingly, Locke’s “property” meant the property of the
Locke-God, whatever he thought at the time. His construct was that no
government or person could deny God’s property, even the property itself. It’s
no surprise the uSA founders rebuked Locke’s philosophy.
The French, in 1789 proved that liberty is too often a
license to take fellow-citizens’ blood. The U.S. Democrat Party demonstrated it
again in 2020 when Democratic mayors supported injury, death, and property
destruction in their cities. It continues with the Biden-administration’s reign

Recalling that I know neither the-objective-truth nor the-ineluctable-truth,
I have earned a well-grounded opinion. I share the opinion in hopes of learning
from fellow-citizens. [The hyphens beg the reader not to disassemble the
thoughts. Also, I am puzzled as to why “ineluctable”, in use since 1571 AD, is
not an everyday word among civic-citizens. It means “not to be avoided, changed,

First, I considered your phrase “do what is good for us”,
which I think is at the heart of a human-being’s purpose and a synonym for both
the-right (as in opportunity) and the-good (as in consequences). That is to
say, it is civic for a human being to act in self-interest. The question, which
is but ought-not-be eternal to every newborn is: how does a person discover
self-interest?
To homo sapiens, the only remaining
representative of human-beings (unless the next mutation, homo integritas or such
is already emerging), an ancient “ourselves”, 5 thousand years ago, suggested
to their “Posterity” (ourselves in 2021): female& male-human-being, for

Second, you and I may mutually understand “law”. I learned

suggested “limit”. These usages seem valid for the specific laws that constrain
a human-being to self-interest: the laws of physics and its progeny ---

for short. Writers 400 years ago confused readers with the word “nature” and
later with the word “science”. The reliable human function is research based on

of perception empower research to approach if not attain the-ineluctable-truth
that interconnects with physics.
Responding to necessity& justice, the civic human-being
accepts each of: 1) being human, 2) having the individual power, energy, and
authority (HIPEA) to constrain chaos in their lifetime, 3) pursuing
the-ineluctable-evidence when “I don’t know” won’t constrain chaos, 4) choosing
humble-integrity by which to gauge personal-integrity, and 5) acting with

observations. My response to your teaching is this: the-rule-of-law by opinions
of justices who attempt to preserve precedent and thereby [vainly] attempt
to avoid, change, or resist the laws of physics is wrong. Their rule-of-law
must be reformed to continually discover and codify statutory justice based on
the-objective-truth when the-ineluctable-truth is yet undiscovered.
The-objective-truth is reliable until instruments of better-perception are
available, and the approach to the-ineluctable-truth advances. For example, the
earth, once thought to be firmament floating on water, with the heavens above
and the spirit of God a fog is known to be among the planets in our galaxy in
the outer space rather than “other world” humankind is exploring.
The civic-citizen is constrained to ask, how can a Supreme
Court brook the idea that entrepreneurs can persuade teenagers that their
psychology does not fit their biology and for a fee they can “correct” the physics,
leaving psychology wellness?
For example, the male typically suffers from heterophobia:
the fear of committing-to for-life a woman and her ova, some 400 during typical
fertility. If he cannot work it out on his own with the woman who is committed

I don’t know the-ineluctable-truth. “Ineluctable” means “not
to be avoided, changed, or resisted”. It’s a word that shows up on the google
ngram from 1576 to 1576 then off and on until 1906, when it’s frequency leaves
the zero-line perhaps permanently. It seems the political philosophers and
scholars hid “the ineluctable truth” as a discussion topic from us for a
reason. I speculate that they wanted to preserve the opportunity to construct
reasonable-truth in-order-to aid the elites’ success: wealth to pay scholars
high salaries. I don’t think this was a conspiracy; individual scholars
protected their employee rights.
The falsehoods about human rights is a construct by
Englishman John Locke, died 1704. He wrote the preposterous idea that every
human being is the property of the-God that Locke promoted and therefore
government must warrant “life, liberty and property”. “Property” therein refers
to the human-being as Locke-God’s property, in Locke’s youth, a Calvin-God and
later a Deism-God. The uSA founders, in 1776, rebuked England by appealing to
“Nature’s God” for human-authority rather than to the English,
reformed-Catholic-Trinity. They also rebuked John Locke by asserting
Nature’s-God-given-rights to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”.
We, the 2020 “ourselves and our Posterity”, received a clear
message from the Democrat Party and Democrat run cities that there is no U.S.

I think no matter where they were born, the female&

Second, the human-being may accept their individual power,

psychology.
Third, they may choose either humble-integrity or a

develop responsible-human-independence (RHI). They constrain chaos in their
