Will Mike Pence choose to lead U.S. reform to humble-integrity?

Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on the-objective-truth, which can only be discovered. The comment box below invites readers to write.

"Civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for individual happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or society.

Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual equality:  For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase it for my interpretation of its proposal as follows:  This good citizen practices the U.S. disciplines---integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity, "in order to” develop responsible human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity.  I want to improve my interpretation by listening to other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787, text, unless it is amended by the people.

It seems the Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who collaborate for human justice.

Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.

Selected theme from this week

Will Mike Pence choose to lead U.S. reform to humble-integrity?

I think the world counts on the U.S. to eventually fulfill its 1787 intentions: responsible-human-independence; that is, the humble-integrity to constrain both external and internal infidelities to self.

Responsible-human-independence is my interpretation of the demand in Genesis 1:27-28: female&male human-beings are charged to constrain chaos on earth, independently of the-God.

A human can intend to constrain chaos only while alive. An act in hope to benefit individual afterdeath, that vast time after body, mind, and person have stopped functioning is private, not civil. Acting on private belief causes chaos on earth. Causing chaos does not conform to the demand in Genesis 1.

Mike Pence proudly witnessed for Jesus Christ on January 4, then on January 6, 2021, betrayed the entities represented by the Commander-in-Chief for the United States including Genesis 1. Pence was egocentric:  For all we know, the-God who authored the political philosophy in Genesis 1 is the Jesus of “before Abraham I AM”. Regardless, by alienating responsible-human-independence, Pence rebuked both church and state. He tolerated both private and civic infidelity. He is not alone.

The infernal, bemused church-state-partnership is not the 1787 U.S. intention. Congress imposed a religion-Congress-partnership in the 1791 Bill of Rights. Genesis 1, the 1776 Declaration, and the 1787 Constitution disapprove the First Amendment claim “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”. Furthermore, the U.S. Supreme Court is defiant against the-God of Genesis 1 to claim the 2021 “ourselves and our Posterity” is “niggling” to express opposition to legislative prayer. Fellow-citizens are charged to constrain chaos.

Essays this week explore these principles and suggest We the People of the United States of 2021 revise the First Amendment so as to promote humble-integrity rather than religion. Mike Pence could lead the movement.

It’s an ineffectual political promise among several bits of nonsense produced by seventeenth and eighteenth century western thought. Neither government nor the-God intervenes in intentional and accidental deaths. Personal chaos-constraint as an individual conducts their life is strictly up to them. Persons are free to be responsible or irresponsible.

I have yet to think of a valid human right other than the opportunity to develop humble-integrity. Thereby, a civic citizen earns enough to live and pay taxes and reserves sufficient humility to the-God, whatever it is. Thus, they can develop the responsible-human-independence they prefer rather than submit to someone else’s vision for them.

In popular jargon, “right to life” refers to the Catholic doctrine that a conception must be gestated and delivered because of its dignity and equality. But what ovum wants to become a person to be abused until death? And what magistrate will force a woman to gestate a child she believes will be abused?

I think the right to dignity and equity begins with the viable ovum. The ovum is owed a responsible female who does not befriend an irresponsible man. Under widespread humility to the-God, that is, female&male human-beings who constrain chaos during their lives (Genesis 1:27–28), the abortion-industry would lessen.

https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-concept-of-acceptance-and-freedom-for-you? By Queen Loving

I accept that I am a human being and therefore have the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to develop humble-integrity to my person.

I accept freedom from external constraints by earning enough to pay taxes and pay them and to otherwise conform to civil law. Additionally, I reserve sufficient humility toward the-God, whatever it is. Finally, when I recognize a habit that threatens my life, I constrain if not stop it.

During the summer of 2020, it became evident that if I lived in a Democrat-controlled city, the politicians might license the liberty to trash property and kill citizens. Therefore, I no longer advocate liberty and want to change the name of the U.S. gift from France to “The Statue of Independence”.

https://www.quora.com/unanswered/How-do-equality-and-securing-an-individual-s-interest-go-together? By Eman Mussa

They don’t go together. There’s only equity under responsible-human-independence (RHI).

The reliable female takes care of her body and mind, knowing that during her fertile years she may bring forth about 400 viable ova. Her caring instincts inspire prudence in forming relationships with males, and she does not develop confidence in an unreliable man. If any man tries un-wanted intimacy with her, she reports the behavior to first responders. The reliable male comprehends these principles and there is no way he would threaten a woman’s future or the ova she may bring forth. His intention is family-monogamy for life.

Every ovum is unique. When spouses activate an ova’s life, conceive an embryo, uniqueness is not lessened. Nothing during gestation or delivery lessens the newborn’s uniqueness. Thus, from ovum to newborn, the human being is due dignity and equity as a unique person. Few people, even the political Justices, would agree with my view.

I earned my view by also studying the ancient political philosophers.

For example, 4 thousand years ago someone primitively suggested, in my 2021 interpretation, that female&male human-beings are charged with the RHI to constrain chaos over the living species and the earth.

Persons who develop RHI accept that they must include dissidents (criminals and tyrants) in the living species they must constrain. Therefore, they behave to develop equity under statutory justice. They recognize that equality under the law is politics rather than RHI. “Liberty” is political license rather than freedom. For example, no statutory justice licenses the liberty to kill and destroy.

Therefore RHI developers neither initiate nor tolerate harm to or from any person. When they perceive harm, they report it either directly or to first responders. If under attack, they apply sufficient strength to defend.

Under all these principles, they accept that they have neither the omniscience nor the omnipotence to evaluate or influence a fellow-citizen’s intentions toward RHI and the perfection of their unique person. RHI developers can only evaluate and adjudicate harm done.

Each human being has the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to perfect their unique person. With freedom-from oppression, there is no place for either equality or liberty among human beings: there’s only responsible-human-independence.

The above principles reflect my opinion: I do not know the-ineluctable-truth. I write to learn and would appreciate comments.

FB add on: There’s no place for either equality or liberty under responsible-human-independence (freedom-from political oppression).

https://www.quora.com/Do-you-agree-with-the-following-statement-Individuals-have-a-duty-to-society-inasmuch-society-has-a-Duty-to-individuals? By James Ronald

Yes.

And I’d like to promote some ancient suggestions about how to achieve mutual, comprehensive safety and security so that each human-being may responsibly pursue the happiness they perceive rather than submit to someone else’s vision for their life.

Necessity demands that female&male human beings constrain chaos while they are alive and extend the resulting safety and security to their children, grandchildren, and beyond.

Consistent with these principles, they accept that not all persons choose to develop as human beings. Some want to develop dependency on fellow citizens: game provisions for people who cannot be independent, attempt to make crime pay, exercise tyranny over fellow citizens, and myriads of other offensive life-styles.

Therefore, they behave for equity under statutory justice and make certain they neither initiate nor tolerate harm to or from any person. For example, when they encounter abject ignorance, they kindly, clearly, sincerely offer an alternative.

For example, if someone speaks of the sunrise as though they think the sun is about to cross the sky, they say something like, “Yes, it is awesome to perceive the earth’s rotation on its axis. With gravity, we don’t even feel our 1,000 mph rotation.” The other party may continue the cosmic reflections and teach you something, or they may be silent so as to give themselves a chance to study the physics of the sun’s daily un-hiding.

FB add on: It’s erroneous to take lightly someone’s erroneous belief, like “The sun’ll come up tomorrow.”

https://www.quora.com/Was-there-a-philosophy-of-politeness-If-so-what-were-its-key-elements? By Graham C Lindsay

I don’t know. It seems different cultures have different codes.

I think the human being is required to appreciate fellow citizens by being lucid, pleasant, and sincere in all contact; if the other party demands privacy, grant it.

Merriam-Webster Online’s first usage, redirected to the adjective, is “of, relating to, or having the characteristics of advanced culture”. Synonyms include civilcourteous, genteelgraciousmannerly, and well-bred. Antonyms include rude, and thoughtless in addition to opposites of the synonyms. Lists of related words are extensive.

The search https://plato.stanford.edu/search/search?query=polite found 27 articles from diverse cultures. There’s an interesting article on politeness or bluntness in the workplace, which seems to conclude it’s a power choice requiring shrewdness.

I was surprised to see the words “civil” and “civility” often, but did not encounter “civic” which I think is preferred. I think a civic fellow-citizen behaves for equity under mutual appreciation. They are unassuming, unpretentious, and kind. They anticipate equitable treatment if not appreciation. However, they do not object to the other party’s preferences and try to accommodate them if they are not injurious.

If conversation progresses to the point that the other party discloses abject ignorance, a kind word of caution is in order. For example if the other says something like, “Your soul is going to burn in hell, and I will pray for you,” a kind response is called for. For example, “Are you certain? I feel I owe myself sufficient humility to what I don’t know.” No more needs to be said, as a human being will ponder your sentiment.

Kind caution when ignorance is expressed fulfills this demand: the civic citizen neither initiates nor tolerates harm to or from any person.

FB add on: Politeness does not relieve the demand that a fellow-citizen neither initiate nor tolerate harm to or from any person.

I don’t know and can only speculate. I think it is erroneous reaction to the obvious hypocrisy of Judeo-Christianity in the U.S.

I think the long-standing U.S. Congressional tyranny of “freedom of religion” is being harmfully challenged, after 230 years’ repression of the U.S. intention: responsible-human-independence.

The founders expressed separation of church from state in the 1776 declaration of independence from England. They claimed human authority founded in “Nature’s God”, choosing not to disparage England’s Protestant Trinity. In 1778, the founders negotiated military providence from France. When, in 1787, free and independent states accepted the need for a nation for strength in the world, framers negotiated a federalism with local, state, and national officials held accountable by a disciplined people. Some of the 55 framers disagreed for their reasons, and only 39 delegates were signers. Nothing in the signers’ 1787 Constitution lessens the founders’ humble-integrity to separate church from state.

Together, the 1776&1787 documents affirm the Genesis 1:27-28 charge to female&male human beings, independently of the-God, to flourish, to take dominion over living species, and to subdue the earth. In other-words, the-God, to which doctrinal Gods must preserve sufficient humility, will not usurp responsible-human-independence. The female brings and the male activates a family who together constrain chaos during life.

More than any fellow-citizen among “ourselves and our Posterity” since September 17, 1787, Mike Pence clarified that church cannot partner with state. Apparently, Pence’s Commander-in-Chief perceived that the U.S. Constitution holds the President responsible to uphold the law; see shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed” in Article II, Section 3. Pence, on January 5, 2021 in Georgia witnessed for Jesus Christ and the next day breached his commitment to the President and to the entity We the People of the United States by not duly blocking alleged-illegal Electoral Votes presented to the Senate. Any allegation is controversial: The states would have to defend their votes before the U.S. Supreme Court.

The divergent-chaos we are experiencing has been developing since Congress unconstitutionally, egregiously partnered with theism 230 years ago. The people have tolerated the abuse, because they are inculcated to believe that their God will relieve their descendants if not their children of the loss and misery. A faction of fellow-citizens, including me, want relief from the totalitarianism of “freedom of religion” so as to enjoy and encourage the pursuit of humble-integrity. Unfortunately, the U.S. Supreme Court codifies the abuse, for example, in Greece v Galloway, 2014, wherein my concerns are labeled “niggling”. The Court seems to think English common law has precedence over the 1787 U.S. Constitution! Good grief reform is needed.

Pence’s offense against the-God of Genesis 1, the 1776 Declaration, the 1787 Constitution, the Presidency, and We the People of the United States is shocking yet not surprising under the passing majority influence: Judeo-Christianity. It’s a struggle for the supreme doctrinal God in abject hubris toward the responsible-human-independence demanded by Genesis 1. It ignores some fellow-citizens’ scripture such as the Eastern Orthodox Bible, the Ethiopian Tewahedo Bible, the Quran, the Bhagavad Gita, the Tipitaka and others (https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/sacred-texts-of-major-world-religions.html). This problem can be resolved the “ourselves and our Posterity” of 2021 by each of accepting that we are first human beings rather than one of the opposites (categorizing themselves).

Fox News personnel are so enslaved to Christian hypocrisy their reporters strained this morning when the NY Governor (I forgot its name) blamed the COVID19 pandemic on God. Fox News could shine some light on Genesis 1:26-27 then lead the movement to amend the First Amendment so as to promote responsible-human-independence and humble-integrity instead of theism and liberty (government license to draw blood and ruin property). Thank France for its military providence in 1781 at Yorktown, VA and change the name of its gift in the NY Harbor to “Statue of Independence” on Independence Island, USA. I could not reach them to make this suggestion.

If Pence perceives his dreadful offense and seeks forgiveness from the entity We the People of the United States, he will restore his greatness, in my opinion. However, that apology would be premature if We the People of the United States have not initiated the above mentioned reforms or better. Chapter XI Machiavellianism persists in the U.S. because theists tolerate it and elitists thrive on it. They both care more about religion than about humble-integrity to themselves. (Again, see Genesis 1.) If Pence reads this, perhaps he will lead the reform.

FB add on: It would be appropriate for Mike Pence to lead the reform from both “freedom of religion” and licensing the liberty to do harm by re-establishing the 1787 U.S. intention: responsible-human-independence. Even re-name to “The Statue of Independence” and Independence Island in NY Harbor, after thanking France for its military providence in 1781 at Yorktown, VA.

https://www.quora.com/When-in-the-history-of-the-world-have-individuals-enjoyed-freedom-as-a-sovereign-being? By Kamal Bahrin

There was “the good People” of We the People of the United States for about 9 months ending June 21, 1788. The 2021 “ourselves and our Posterity” can restore the proffered people’s proposition.

About 4 thousand years ago, monotheism became a dominant theism in competition with political philosophies that made no other-worldly-assumptions about the source of human powers. A Mesopotamian political philosopher suggested that their God, perhaps the-God, charges female&male human-beings to independently flourish, take dominion over all living species, and subdue the earth. For all we know, the philosopher was influenced by Jesus of “before Abraham I AM”.

Subsequent monotheistic cultures constructed competitive-doctrine by which to coerce the-God to usurp the responsible-human-independence described in Genesis 1:27-28. Benefitting from food-storage wisdom by Egyptian kings, Israel elected kings and their tribes disbursed. Some claimed Jesus was the Jewish messiah and others argued that Jesus saves all people who believe he is the-God.

Literature commenting on these developments were canonized as bases of Christian institutions by about 400 AD, including the Catholic, the Eastern Orthodox, and the Ethiopian Tewahedo canon, among others. After Luther, 1517, competitive Protestant canon emerged.

England’s Magna Carta, 1215, agreed that the king would yield to a Catholic Bishop-Lords Parliament responsibility for legislation. The “glorious rebellion” produced the 1689 Bill of Rights, stipulating a Protestant monarchy.

From 1607 until 1774, settlement of the eastern seaboard of N. America was dominated by England in competition with France. Spain competed in Florida and the west. Loyal British colonists objected to local governance from England, and especially objected to being made responsible for the African slaves brought there for agricultural colonization. When England’s new king began to tax them and take the proceeds in 1763, rebellion dominated. In 1774, Massachusetts farmers liberated Worcester of British officials. Soon, 12 English colonies met and formed the Continental Congress to officially urge local governance. Colonies began to write state constitutions.

In 1776, the founders issued declaration of war for independence from England. The document separates church from state. The founders claimed human integrity under “Nature’s God” without disparaging England’s Protestant Trinity. They relied on “the good People” for the will to kill red-coated fellow English subjects and appealed to “the Supreme Judge of the world” for military victory against their oppressor. In 1778, they negotiated with France for military providence. The founders had expressed humble-integrity to the responsible-human-independence suggested in Genesis 1.

England surrendered to France (30,000 military) and the continental army (11,000) at Yorktown VA in 1781. In 1784, the 13 free and independent states ratified the 1783 Treaty of Paris. However, they soon accepted the need to either strengthen the confederation or form a nation to effect global strength in defense.

In 1787, framers from 12 states negotiated the U.S. Constitution. It features separation of church from state, amendable by the continuum “ourselves and our Posterity”, and federalism with local, state, and national officials held accountable to the rule of law by the people. The preamble’s proposition to the people specifies 5 public disciplines “in order to” develop responsible-human-independence. No standards are specified, leaving development of statutory justice to posterity, free from erroneous traditions.

Unfortunately, when at least 2 states objected to the 1787 Constitution, the other 7 did not hold out perchance 2 of the 4 laggard states would step forward to complete the required 9 for ratification. They agreed to ratify with the condition that the first Congress would negotiate a Bill of Rights. On December 15, 1791, Congress ratified the U.S. Bill of Rights including an unconstitutional religion-Congress partnership. Thus, Congress defied Genesis 1, the 1776 Declaration, and the 1787 Constitution. The entity We the People of the United States has suffered the chaos that Chapter XI Machiavellianism delivers to believers who overlook sufficient humility toward the-God of Genesis 1. Female&male human-beings are, of necessity, responsible for peace on earth. Neither the-God nor government will usurp that duty. The U.S. is still experiencing Democrat-Party-licensing protester-liberty to trash cities and people: responsible-human-independence is a better goal of freedom.

U.S. inhabitants from September 17, 1787 until June 21, 1788, enjoyed freedom as sovereign beings. The “ourselves and our Posterity” of 1788 have suffered repression ever since. We, the “ourselves and our Posterity” of 2021 can end the tyranny by amending the First Amendment in order to promote human, humble-integrity rather than support religious businesses. We can restore the 1782 mottos “E Pluribus Unum” and apply it to responsible fellow-citizens’ Gods. We can either delete the prayer phrase in the pledge of allegiance or introduce humility with “under the-God”.

If so, the year 2022 can promise an achievable better future with our fellow-citizens, and the world would breathe hope in a restored U.S. intention: responsible-human-independence. The U.S. 230-years under “freedom of religion”, a chaos-generator, can be reformed by freedom-to develop humble-integrity.

FB add on: Let 2022 be the year the U.S. reforms from Congressional “freedom of religion” to the people’s freedom-to develop humble-integrity.

https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-real-truth-of-life? By Jerry Tan and Ralph Sawyer

The “real truth” is just one among many modifiers of truth that invite human opinion. It seems to me “the-ineluctable-truth” is a more exact phrase. Female and male human beings work to discover and benefit-from the-ineluctable-truth.

About 10 million years after the dinosaurs died away, chimpanzees emerged. Between 6 million and 3 million years ago, humanoids adapted to upright walking. Primitive tools emerged 2.8 million years ago.

Sun (and moon) gods were worldwide 10 thousand years ago (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_deity). Monotheism became politically popular 4 thousand years ago. For all we know, Jesus of “before Abraham I AM” influenced political philosophy in order to encourage responsible-human-integrity long ago. Perhaps the-I-AM is the-good.

For example, Genesis 1:27-28 suggests that female&male human beings are charged to flourish, take dominion over other living species, and subdue the earth. Perhaps the charge came from the-God or from Jesus. However, it seems self-evident, once articulated, that each human being must acquire the self-discipline to constrain chaos in their life. I am grateful that my wife and I committed to each other 53 years ago and have been spouses for 51 years. We faced a lot of chaos and still do. (Also, some men could not bear wondering if she rejected strange advances.)

Perhaps the-I-AM influenced Agathon 2,400 years ago to suggest in Plato’s “Symposium” that the fellow-citizen who behaves for the-good neither initiates nor tolerates harm to or from any person or institution.

The principles I have expressed are plain to the person who accepts being a human being and develops the comprehension and intention to develop responsible-human-independence. Each human has the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to either establish humble-integrity by which to constrain chaos or to tolerate infidelity to their person.

The individual who chooses some form of dependency may either not discover their unique person or may use HIPEA to master their scheme. Criminals think crime pays and many Congresspersons think tyranny pays.

I think the-I-AM encouraged every human being to employ humble-integrity to develop and perfect their unique person before their afterdeath begins---that vast time after body, mind, and person stop functioning.

I don’t know but am not alone. I think I expressed “the real truth of life”.

FB add on: It seems “the real truth of life” is that each human being can perfect their unique person before death.

https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-importance-of-respecting-the-freedom-of-other-people? By Aerich Cherish Xyree Mina

The human being, by necessity, must constrain chaos in life. With freedom, they can survive, even thrive in this conflicted world.

It is self-evident that no power on earth will choose to usurp humankind’s freedom to constrain chaos. The human individual must learn and practice the-good, in order to attain freedom. Many human beings develop responsible-human-independence. But not everyone accepts freedom as self-interest.

Some humans, for reasons they may not understand, develop dependency on fellow citizens. Some people game the welfare system, which is intended for people who have not the ability to practice freedom. Some people think crime pays. Some think tyranny pays. A few people nurture evil unto the loss of their humanity---choose animalism or sloth.

The ineluctably good person neither initiates nor tolerates harm to or from any person or institution. In this capacity, they constrain people who cause chaos.

When a person accepts that they are a human being, they develop responsible-human-independence, happily aiding fellow-citizens’ freedom to constrain chaos.

FB add on:  Without freedom, a human cannot constrain chaos in their life.

I don’t know. Indolence? Insufficient humility toward the-God (perhaps physics, necessity, or chaos if not the Jesus of “before Abraham I AM”)? Enslavement to public opinion? Enslavement to “scholarship”? Fear?

I think self-reliance empowers an individual to accept being a human being yet make choices to perfect their unique person.

I learned lessons I value from/with my wife (courted 53 years ago and married 51 years with 3 children).

Accepting neighbors as they are and where they are in their path to the happiness they intend is appreciated as serene self-confidence.

Always representing yourself rather than attempting to please the other person is appreciated as humble-integrity.

Quick wit to deflect coercion is appreciated as strength. Always read the bulletin boards.

When tradition seems harmful, self-reliance is preferred.

Refusing responsibility for someone else’s error establishes credibility when apology is required.

Appreciation empowers love, fidelity, and joy---for life.

I don’t know. It depends upon whether their message is mere violence or sincere work toward statutory justice.

What I think is that Barack Obama, trained by the Marxist Saul Alinsky community in Chicago (Industrial Areas Foundation), has traveled the world influencing young people to be disruptive to get what they want and to get it NOW!

Civic Americans, meaning people who work for the style of living they want “to ourselves and our Posterity”, are flummoxed by the tyranny of the Democrat Party. Party members support violence in U.S. cities with Democrat mayors and governors.

Traditionally, a Chapter XI Machiavellian population, many U.S. parents inculcate in children the belief that their God will eventually relieve them of unarticulated Congressional-Judicial tyranny. Unaccustomed to reserving sufficient humility toward the-good or the-God, they don’t realize that many American blacks await the Ethiopian Tewahedo Bible. Understandably (yet erroneously), God is black, his people are black, and whites will be slaves. Other blacks view Genesis 1’s “in God’s image” as psychological likeness. That is, the human female and male is charged to independently constrain chaos on earth to all living species (Genesis 1:27-28). My opinions are rare and benefit from few conversations. I am thankful to Fred Bear for encouring me to read the book “God is Red.”

The possibility of a 2021 American to connect Genesis 1, the 1776 declaration of independence from England, and the 1787 U.S. Constitution (before the 1791 Congressional tyranny in the Bill of Rights) is small to none. Whereas a serious human error is failure to accept the independence by which to constrain chaos in personal living, Barack Obama sings “Amazing Grace” and claims America’s “original sin” is slavery.

I do not accuse Obama of heresy. I accuse him of pitiable ignorance.

The U.S. will restore its 1787 intentions to responsible-human-independence as soon as the living “ourselves and our Posterity” amend the First Amendment so as to promote humble-integrity instead of religion-Congress-Court hubris. Their egocentric “divinity” is ruinous to the world.

FB add on: Activists who are violent deserve violence, unless they know they have the military power to overthrow their nation to reform injustice. Genuine work toward statutory justice is accomplished with ineluctable evidence of injustice and law-amendment according to the-objective-truth.

https://www.quora.com/Is-it-futile-to-resist-change? By Andrew Martin

I don’t know how to consider the question. The only thing reliable is change.

For example, the dinosaurs died away 65 million years ago. Humans transitioned to walking upright during 6 million to 3 million years ago. Many cultures held the sun to be a God under their name. Many cultures sacrificed fellow-citizens to bargain with their God.

When I was a boy, I could explore the neighborhood safely. In high school, I could hitch-hike without fearing abuse. Safety and security in the U.S. woefully declined under my watch.

I assumed the U.S. Constitution was reliable. Now, I’m certain reliability will never come unless the people stop tolerating the religion-Congress totalitarianism recently codified by the U.S. Supreme Court. My concerns are niggling to Justices.

Female and male integrity is called for in Genesis 1:27-28, the 1776 declaration of independence from England, and the 1787 Constitution for civic order in the U.S. The U.S. intention, responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity”, was regressed by Congress in the 1791 religion clauses.

We the People of the United States, the 2021 “ourselves and our Posterity” must amend the First Amendment in order to establish human integrity rather than religious competition.

The U.S. can change to reliability after 230 years’ religious-legislative-judicial tyranny.

FB add on:  Let the living “ourselves and our Posterity” change U.S. religious-Congress-judicial tyranny to civic integrity in 2021.

Phil Beaver

Mr. Moore, thank you for answering.

I did not intend “a person who develops a life resembling an animal or a plant” to imply the development was forced on the person. I was referring to the person who never accepts that they are a human being.

Your focus on events that lessen a human’s chances is interesting.

I would appreciate your knowledge applied to my question. For example, should the habitual sex-offender who rapes a 9 year-old-cousin then dismembers her body to burry the parts be treated as a human-being after found guilty?

My question is intended to prompt the thought: have I accepted and do I promote the importance of choosing to be a human being?

To David Moore again:

I would no more judge your “we” bad than judge my person good.

However, developing responsible-human-independence requires a lifetime of choosing humble-integrity in individual behavior. The person who never considers the importance of being a human being is likely to tolerate infidelity to self. Those who enjoy the infidelity invite ruin of their personhood, and some relish becoming an animal. Thus, they lessened their individual-responsibility to the extent of losing their humanity.

Does humanism advocate open-mindedness toward fellow-citizens’ work to constrain chaos in their country?

To David Moore again:

I’m surprised you included v 32 “Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.”

I think our dialogue is better served by Genesis 1:27–28: “So God created humankind in his own image; in the image of God he created him: male and female he created them. God blessed them: God said to them, ‘Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air and every living creature that crawls on the earth.’"

This political philosophy is about 4 thousand years old, after the dinosaurs died off 65 million years ago, but perhaps under the influence of the Jesus of “before Abraham I AM.”

It instructs me that female and male human beings are charged to independently constrain chaos on earth. That means that when a person being does not accept being human and causes harm, fellow-citizens must constrain them, because the-God will not usurp what is assigned to human beings.

Stephen Sibbald

The whole point of humanism is that the value of a person is inherent, and doesn't vary with the person's attributes. Thus a comatose person is equally human to the greatest leader, scientist, artist or philanthropist.

Phil Beaver

I agree with inherent human potential to perfect their unique person. Stephen Hawking wonderfully made certain he could give his all.

Every human has the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to perfect their unique person in humble-integrity. However, some choose to apply HIPEA for infidelity—-tyranny, crime, evil, and worse.

The dissident’s life depends upon the fellow citizens who choose to develop civic justice. The opposites ambition and sloth entice infidelity to responsible-human-independence.

Just as the greatest among us is entitled to death, the comatose person should not be denied relief. And the snack-cuddling sloth deserves to either reform or suffer.

To David Moore:

Does humanism accept and promote the importance of each person choosing to be a human-being rather than one of its opposites, such as animal or plant? Is the person who has chosen to be a sex pervert and finally murders a cousin “equally human to the greatest . . .”?

To Ivee Nia: You present the evidence that bullies are like racists: they accuse the other part then stonewall them.

To Tim ODonnell: It seems you intend the metaphysical with the “deserve” consideration. Let’s take an example in physics and its progeny, psychology.

A cousin is known to nourish sexual phantasies that occasionally surface as unwanted advances. He pays intimate attention to a 9-year old in the family, and they say, awh, he means nothing by it. He loves her like a sister.

One day he finds her in a cornfield, rapes her, kills her, dismembers the body for burial in different places, and on ineluctable evidence meets unanimous-jury conviction.

The court has delivered statutory justice to the criminal.

What does the girl’s family deserve?

To Tim ODonnell again: Merriam-Webster online tells me the first usage of “sympathy” is an affinity, association, or relationship between persons or things wherein whatever affects one similarly affects the other.”

The girl’s family is very happy that their evil cousin was convicted and given the death sentence: after that, their cousin in his person will not suffer such evil again.

However, they remain heartbroken over the fact that their 9 year-old cousin’s chance to develop her unique perfection ended.

As fellow citizens, we can suffer sympathy for both the family losses and the male-cousin’s infidelity to self under statutory justice.

To Tim ODonnell again: Interestingly, your selective quote invited a concern I noticed earlier but left dormant.

Some family members wondered if the male cousin lusted for his younger cousin. They imagined the rape if not the murder. The learned a costly lesson: If you imagine harm, discuss it before it happens. Thus, we can suffer both family losses: the girl’s life and the lost opportunity to save it.

I restate that we can suffer sympathy for the male-cousin’s infidelity to self under statutory justice. However, there is no sympathy for the conviction, verdict, and his execution. He invited justice when he killed her to hide the rape.

There is no sympathy to us, because we know he will not rape and kill again: public safety and security is responsible-human-independence as demanded in Genesis 1:27–28.

To Tim ODonnell again:

No. I wrote “He invited justice when he killed her to hide the rape.” After the sentencing, I would accept his statement about his life-choices.

To Steven Salamon:

Thank you, Mr. Salamon,

Statutory justice seeks to discourage human beings from tolerating infidelity to self until animal behavior or total dependency becomes chosen habit.

We are offered a culture that encourages responsible-human-independence. The person who accepts that they are a human being is likely to discover the culture of fidelity to self. When they perceive infidelity to self, they reform.

But some fellow-citizens tolerate or develop dependency. Lazy persons take what they game from the system. Tyrants and criminals depend on fellow-citizens tolerance and gullibility, respectively.

The civic citizen behaves for equity under statutory justice. They help discover injustices and amend the law in order to encourage dissidents to reform. They provide first responders to address actual harm—-stop the victim’s loss and pain if possible, and identify the perpetrator.

When the crime is heinous or less, the perpetrator has invited the statutory consequences. Civic citizens support the outcome so as to preserve humble-integrity to responsible-human-independence.

To David Devalera:

Thank you, Mr. Devalera,

Your response ignores the question, by not considering choices the person made to nourish appetites that escalated to the heinous crime; that is, developed as an animal instead of a human being. For example, the cousin who raped a 9 year old girl and dismembered her body for secret burial.

Since you can’t preserve, how do you restore the girl’s family, the wounded law-enforcement personnel, the jury that rendered a death sentence, and the responsible-humans who independently fund statutory justice?

To David Devalera again:

Justice does not treat them as animals: they forsake themselves.

https://www.quora.com/How-does-democracy-promote-and-protect-human-rights? By Nelson Vidinha

Democracy destroys justice and thereby ruins the individual’s right to constrain chaos during their lives.

Necessity compels female and male human beings to constrain chaos during their lives. However, for reasons they may or may not understand, some individuals choose dependency on chaos. Chaos must be constrained by first responders. Among nations, military strength must be maintained.

For the-good, most fellow-citizens behave-by and promote civic statutory-justice so as to discourage chaos-dependency. That is, to support written law enforcement that encourages female and male human beings to behave in mutual self-interest: fidelity to being human.

Developing statutory justice requires discovery and elimination of injustices. There must be standards in order to discover injustice. The-ineluctable-good allows neither initiation nor toleration of harm to or from any person. Thus, injustice can be determined by the-ineluctable-evidence of harm done.

Those who thrive on chaos do all they can to obfuscate evidence. They appeal for mercy when justice is due. They try to convert the rule of law into democracy: My chaos counts above all else!

About 3 decades ago, I learned that if someone approaches you to save your soul, put you hand on your wallet. Today, when someone promotes democracy, especially the right to vote for chaos, I respond, “Let’s amend the First Amendment so as to promote humble-integrity to the-good rather than to support religious businesses.”

Democracy’s intent is to spoil the U.S. march to statutory justice.

FB add on: Beware: democracy intends to ruin the individual right to constrain chaos in personal living.

To Don Tracy:

You don’t seem to realize the public has read Saul Alinsky’s rules for Alinsky-Marxist organizations (AMO). If you are unaware of AMO, you might consider it. You identify as an AMO victim when you attack someone without expressing grounds for your dissatisfaction with their opinion.

Perhaps you think of democracy as one person one vote. That’s not the intention of voting in the U.S. Here, it’s one informed adult, one vote. AMO seeks to enslave adults to vote the AMO preference.

You could write your vitriol then delete it so as to protect your AMO appearance.

To Don Tracy again:

Political philosophy from 4 thousand years ago accepted that necessity demands the female&male human-beings constrain chaos in their personal lives.

Fellow-citizens who accept necessity develop responsible-human-independence (RHI) within their families for life. They practice humble-integrity rather than tolerate infidelity to self. But some fellow-citizens, having the ability to develop RHI, choose dependency: unwarranted alms, crime, tyranny and other abuses of fellow-citizens.

In democracy, when the dependents outnumber responsible-human-independents, viability for life is destroyed. Only the rule of statutory justice can preserve the human opportunity to constrain chaos.

Statutory justice differs from the rule of law in that it continually improves according to the-ineluctable-evidence rather than diverges under human reason.

To Don Tracy again:

I referred to religious businesses as deterrents to integrity and presented a political philosophy. Do you doubt politics?

https://www.quora.com/Should-businesses-treat-people-equally-or-as-individuals? By Liezl Cayanan

The businesses closest to the individual might be competitive religions, Justices, and the press.

I think the business plan hinges on the owners’ objectives: encourage human beings or develop the opposites---animals and plants.

Each person may choose to develop into a human being---a unique individual with the comprehension and intention to live a complete human lifetime, both chronologically and psychologically; by age and by humble-integrity; under God or under the-good; perfecting the person or tolerating infidelity to self.

Each person has the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to choose humble-integrity or infidelity; civic conduct or crime or worse; independence or reliance on fellow-citizens.

Individuals who prey on fellow-citizens beg for mercy when they discover that neither the developed animal nor the tolerant plant is equal to a human being.

Businesses have to decide their business plan for survival if not success. The businesses that appeal to animals and plants eventually lose. The human being is self-reliant and chooses promising businesses. I stopped appreciating religion, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the press perhaps a quarter century ago. Congress is too distant to consider.

https://www.quora.com/How-can-I-achieve-real-life-freedom? By Pitana Sudjana

I don’t know. However, consider opinions and accept what seems good to you.

Accept that you are a human being. Therefore, attend the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to develop humble-integrity rather than infidelity to self.

Accept that some fellow-citizens use HIPEA to develop crime and worse. Such persons must be constrained until they reform. It is in the individual’s self-interest to aid civil statutory justice.

Accept that the-God demands the-good, regardless of the diverse eternal hopes God offers. Also, government partners with God to control believers. Therefore, the individual must responsibly pursue the unique happiness they want rather than tolerate someone else’s dream for them. If a personal God helps, reserve sufficient humility toward the-God.

No matter how unlikely it may seem at this moment, each human can perfect their unique person before their afterdeath---that vast time after body, mind, and person stop functioning.

It seems to me the best way to live is to make choices that increase self-reliance and focus on the happiness you perceive rather than contend with force. Responsible-human-independence is in each fellow-citizen’s self-interest. “Responsible” means to hold local, state, and federal officials accountable to 1787 U.S. intentions: humble-integrity.

Congress ought to break up the monopolies that are crippling public communication. However, Congress is the source of the problem, as always. Congress is using the monopolies to control the entity We the People of the United States. It’s only the latest since their first tyranny: creating a religion-Congress partnership in 1791s First Amendment.

In 2021, We the People of the United States ought to require Congress to amend the First Amendment so as to empower civic-integrity rather than institutional religion.

With that change, the 2021 “ourselves and our Posterity” might at last take heed of Genesis 1:27-28: female&male-humans must independently constrain chaos during their lifetimes. The-God will not usurp female&male duty to self, to other living species, and to the earth. Nor will the-God partner with Congress.

You may think I wandered far from you question. However, no one knows what the U.S. would be like under the-good the-God demands rather than the eternal hope God offers.

FB add on: What would the U.S. be like under integrity to the-good that the-God demands rather than the diverse eternal-hopes God offers?

https://www.quora.com/Which-is-more-important-individual-rights-or-public-order? By Michael Okeke

Each person has the right to accept developing a human-being rather than one of the opposites such as animal or plant. But not everyone participates, so order must be provided.

The human being has the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to develop integrity rather than tolerate infidelity to his or her person.

The civic-citizen neither initiates nor tolerates harm to or from any person or association, including self and family. They voice objection to intentions to harm. They reserve the responsible-human-independence to report their group to first-responders if their group decides to cause harm.

The choice to use HIPEA to develop civic integrity rather than nurture infidelity is a self-interest. Consequently, most people exercise their right to be a human being and constrain fellow-citizens who nurture infidelity.

Heretic.

I am open-minded to the-God---whatever controls the unfolding of the universe. For all I know, much as I doubt it, the-God is the Jesus of “Before Abraham I AM”. For all I know, the-God is chaos. I am prepared to be so judged but do not recommend the preparation to anyone. On the other hand, I work day and night to encourage civic-integrity in the United States.

I think there’s sufficient inspiration and motivation in female&male-human acceptance and appreciation for the opportunity to constrain chaos during one lifetime. I trust-in and am committed-to the-ineluctable-truth. I think it conforms to physics and its progeny, including human psychology. Perhaps the-God started the unfolding of physics. If so, I doubt the value of the question: Why?

As in all my opinions, I could be wrong in all the above principles. However, I neither can nor want to avoid my human-individual power, energy, and authority (HIPEA) to develop integrity to my person rather than tolerate infidelity during my lifetime, low as I may be.

As a citizen, I do all I can to promote the 1776 declaration of war for independence from England and the 1787 Constitution to establish a federal-republic. Therein, the intended people’s civic-discipline holds local, state, and national officials (elected and appointed) accountable to responsible-human-independence. I think those two documents together separate church from state so that every citizen can discover HIPEA and apply it for responsible, personal happiness rather than conform to someone else’s idea for their life.

In these 234 years since the Constitution was signed, we have learned that the Congress-religion partnership the 1791 Congress codified in the First Amendment invites and delivers chaos.

Observe Mike Pence’s antinomian-betrayal of We the People of the United States on January 5, 2021 in Georgia. In 2021, let’s amend the First Amendment so as to encourage civic-integrity rather than support competitive religion.
