Consider writing a personal
paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual appreciation: For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and
paraphrase it for my interpretation of its proposal as follows We the People of the United States proffer &
practice 5 public disciplines —- integrity, justice, safety, strength, and
prosperity, “in order to” encourage & facilitate
responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity”. I want to improve my interpretation by listening to
other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787,
text, unless it is amended by the people.
It seems the
Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one has challenged whether or
not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this
independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states
deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is
legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who
collaborate for human justice.
Every citizen
has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in
the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try
somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the
goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies
grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to
discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.

The laws of physics constrain everything. For example, a
human-being cannot avoid consuming energy.
The Sumerians comprehended that their gods could not provide
comprehensive-safety& security on earth, so they devised codes of law, in
order to coerce their citizens to take responsibility.
Unfortunately, they had no source of iron by which to keep
pace with weapons development, and the Babylonians conquered them about the
same time monotheism came into dominance.
Elites who were alien to humankind’s duty constructed
doctrinal-God for chosen people, losing the necessary humility toward both
physics and comprehensive-safety& security. The people praised their God,
the alien-elites lived high on the hog, and the citizen’s power dissipated.
Only by constraining chaos in personal life-style plus establishing
the rule of statutory-justice can civic-citizens restore order& prosperity.

Harry, I appreciate the chance to read Scroggs' post, 3
years standing.
The year before this great personal gun was sold, in 1906, scholars published
the phrases "ineluctable truth" and "the ineluctable truth".
And "ineluctable" was published in 1571. "Ineluctable"
means: not to be avoided, changed, resisted, or neglected." Our society
"protected" us from "ineluctable". Why?
I use hyphens to invite the reader to not disassemble the phrase
"the-ineluctable-truth". The phrase empowers a person to readily
accept, "I don't know", when they have not the-ineluctable-evidence.
Addressing "GOD SAVE THE USA", I ask myself: is that the God of
Genesis 1:28? There, I get this message: Humankind, solely, can& may pursue
comprehensive-safety& security to life on earth (SECURITY). The rest of the
Bible convinces me to accept without judgement both God's grace and Jesus'
peace, in order to aid SECURITY. If I entreat my personal-God to usurp my
responsibility according to my scripture, am I practicing, facilitating&
and encouraging humility?
I don't think and accept that I don't know the-ineluctable-truth.
Many people find my thinking too deep, and I think that is how we neglect
SECURITY. I'd walk miles for a conversation with our friend Warren Kirsch (d.).
