Wokism just another delusion

Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on the-objective-truth, which can only be discovered. The comment box below invites readers to write.

"Civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for individual happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or society.

Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual appreciation:  For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase it for my interpretation of its proposal as follows We the People of the United States proffer & practice 5 public disciplines —- integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity, “in order to” encourage & facilitate responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity”. I want to improve my interpretation by listening to other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787, text, unless it is amended by the people.

It seems the Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who collaborate for human justice.

Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.

Selected theme from this week

Wokism just another delusion

Delusion means “a belief that is not true”. Alinsky-Marxist organization (AMO) is delusional. The organizers recruit “soldiers”, who perceive friendship, solidarity, and license to harm/injure fellow-citizens. The organizers promise “rights” when the only valid human right is the opportunity to behave for civic-integrity.

Live, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness are political slogans tyrants use to control gullible citizens. “Rights” were developed in England as part of the Chapter XI Machiavellianism England employs to control the people. However, no government can warrant the most basic provision: life.

No people on earth nourishes civic-integrity as U.S. citizens do. And even the U.S. citizen is not likely to articulate the practice more than to say, “I don’t give a damn about your AMO. Just keep it off my property so as to avoid being shot for threatening my life and privacy.”

When an individual is caught up in the friendship, solidarity, and license AMO can stage, they tend to overlook their personal liability and can’t envision the privacy that defeats their collectivism. Eventually, the soldier realizes the organizer was not present for the action and continually remains immune to law-enforcement. AMO fails, and privacy is never recognized, so the organizers recruit new soldiers, gullible enough to ignore the history of bloody revolutions.

Freedom& liberty are political-power-distractions to suppress responsible-human-independence (RHI).

Most persons in the world who responsibly-pursue personal-happiness rather than accept another entity’s grants& licenses practices RHI. Dependent persons accept the happiness others envision for them. Humankind divides itself on RHI vs dependency.

This message can become globally viral, if each reader who responsibly-pursues personal-happiness shares it, whether publicly or privately. On awareness, some dependents might reform.

I don’t know about fellow conservatives. I only know my person, Phil Beaver. It seems to me, that despite all appearances, most people work to conserve human-being-privacy.

If wokism interviewed a conservative, it is not likely they’d get my response, because conservatism is in their genes, memes, and blood more than in their articulation. Some might respond “I don’t give a damn about your questions I just want my privacy”.

Mostly, conservatives want to enjoy the fruits of their labor: family, food they like, weather, season sports, concerts, a Sunday talk and socializing, laughter at their favorite bar, and such. If a fight breaks out, they don’t wait around unless attacked, and they don’t go where a fight is expected.

I work to conserve my person and family, because I enjoy life so much. My intention is to constrain chaos in my life. I notice my neighbors seem to be doing the same thing. We don’t talk about it. One has a Marxist sign in his yard, and didn’t discuss it with me. I don’t go there. One neighbor put a new roof on their house and didn’t discuss it with me. We’re finishing a “future room” in my home and haven’t discussed it with neighbors.

Meanwhile, I read, write, talk, and listen, in order to conserve mutually private living in the USA.

Among the species on earth, female& male human-being is the only one that has the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to constrain chaos in their way of living. This seems obvious to most human-beings. Constraining chaos is a self-interest that empowers personal-happiness rather than submission to the happiness an external/internal entity would impose on them. The chaos-constraining individuals constitute a privacy-conserving collective.

However, not every person prefers a lifestyle without chaos. Some are attracted to dependency’s risks: passivism, spiritualism, indolence, abuse, infidelity, crime, evil, tyranny, and worse. Individuals who nourish such lifestyles develop not as humans but as minerals, plants, animals, spirits, evils, and worse. If they sense it early enough, they may reform; too many die young.

By U.S. civil intentions, dependent-fellow-citizens remain private as long as they do not harm or injure a person or property. If dependents cause harm, they invite constraint, either directly, or by either law-enforcement or state& national defense-military. Personal-happiness is so attractive to most persons that they are willing to earn their way of living plus prepare for self-defense plus pay for law-enforcement, military defense, and research to continually pursue statutory justice.

I don’t think wokism should hold its breath for conservatives to collect: privacy is too precious to conservatives.

quora.com/What-would-be-your-role-as-a-correction-of-social-work-practice? by Romaya Adam

A couple years ago, Dr. Brij Mohan recommended promoting the profession by changing the title from “Social Worker” to “Social Practitioner”.

To parallel “Medical Practitioner” that would require the PhD in social work and perhaps a clinical residency. The master’s professional could be called “Social Assistant”, on par with “Physician’s Assistant”.

Social-Work has been critical to my life, and I would support such enhancement of public appreciation for their expertise.

quora.com/What-is-the-work-of-social-justice? by Richard Joseph Strachan

Mr. Strachan, I record today’s appreciation of your question in “appreciations” at promotethepreamble.blogspot.com.

“Social justice” (SJ) seems lame-arrogance against responsible-human-independence (RHI). SJ’s an attempt to persuade a higher power---the person’s choice such as gullibility, God, government, or drugs---to usurp personal-RHI; the person’s SJ attempt to avoid, change, or resist civic-citizenship.

At some point, each person encounters the choice to be a human-being. But the human-being is individually powerful, energetic, and authoritative (HIPEA) to their person. It takes a quarter century to acquire the comprehension& intention to practice RHI and another quarter-century or more to confirm self-interest in RHI; that is to appreciate, the personal-benefits of RHI.

For their reasons, some persons prefer or default to a dependency: passivism, spirituality, indolence, abuse, infidelity, crime, evil, tyranny or worse. Aware or not, they emerge less than human: mineral, plant, animal, spirit, evil, tyrant, or perhaps worse.

The laws of physics& its-progeny, including, economics& politics, require a civic-culture in which both RHI and dependency may be accommodated. If the force of the dependent group exceeds that of the RHI group, viability of humankind’s ineluctably-divided-society reduces and depletes, unto first chaos, perhaps eventually annihilation.

That is, civic-citizens must appreciate dependent-fellow-citizens enough to constrain, facilitate, and encourage them to reform; if not, to retire the dependent’s citizenship so as to prevent injury/harm from the dependency. Additionally, civic-citizens must fund the research to assure that each law-enforcement& military-strength address both necessity& justice. That is, unjust legislation must be continually discovered& improved in order to approach statutory-justice. In other words, the civic-citizen must earn their personal-happiness plus fund law-enforcement, military-strength, and justice-research.

Dependent-fellow-citizens don’t aid RHI. For example, passive-citizenship accepts whatever injustices this difficult ineluctable-process accommodates. “Ineluctable” means “not to be avoided, changed, or resisted”, merriam-webster.com.

If these principles are reliable, “the work of social justice” is individual RHI, in order to approach collective RHI.

These ideas may seem radical to most readers. However, I glean them from continual work to establish my view of the 1787-1788 U.S. intentions and each of the free& independent states’ intentions for the factional-continuum We the People of the United States “to ourselves and our Posterity” including legal immigrants. I share my work in hopes of learning from fellow-citizens, so please comment.

quora.com/What-do-you-think-about-this-quote-Which-is-the-best-government-That-which-teaches-us-to-govern-ourselves? by Chris Ferguson

This idea, attributed to Goethe, 36 years old in 1787, was probably known by German readers among the 55 delegates to the U.S. constitutional convention in Philadelphia. It would be no surprise to learn Goethe was among the thinkers that influenced the 1787 outcome.

But only during the discussion by the 5-membered Committee of Style---Alexander Hamilton (NY), William Johnson (CT), Rufus King (MA), James Madison (VA), and Gouvernour Morris (PA)---did Goethe’s idea improve. Revising a draft preamble that had no statement of intentions, the committee adopted words attributed to Morris, in effect: The-good among We the People of the United States proffer 5 domestic disciplines---integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity, “in order to” secure independence “to ourselves and our Posterity” (including legal immigrants).

The 5 disciplines, out of necessity to personal-independence, exclude religion.

We, the 2021 “ourselves and our Posterity” may restore the 1787 disciplinary intentions by amending the First Amendment so as to promote responsible-human-independence---civic-integrity to the people rather than civil-religion to Congress.

quora.com/unanswered/What-category-of-resources-is-a-human-being? by Alilullahi Abdulsalam

Celebrate the peacemaker!

You present a worthy question. I think the human-being has sole responsibility for peace in this world.

It seems an entity controls the consequences of human-being choices. Further, necessity& justice demand that female& male-human-being provide order& prosperity to the living species and to this world. Thus, female& male-human-being may independently provide peace in this world.

It takes about a quarter-century for a person to acquire the comprehension and intention to be a human-being, to choose civic-integrity, and to develop the responsible-human-independence (RHI) for necessity& justice. However, not every person wants RHI. Some prefer a dependency: spirituality, passivity, indolence, abuse, infidelity, crime, evil, tyranny, and worse.

On this choice---dependency or RHI---persons group themselves: mineral, plant, animal, soul, or human-being. (That’s not to exclude a category a person would claim.)

The human-being is solely responsible for economic viability of life. They both earn their way of living and pay for the systems to constrain dependent fellow-citizens in necessity& justice. Without constraint, divergent-chaos will prevail unto annihilation.

We don’t know the source of necessity& justice, and we need not fret over it, as long as we practice, facilitate, and encourage reliability as human-being. We seem to be accommodating chaos.

quora.com/The-founding-fathers-chose-life-liberty-and-property-If-you-had-to-list-three-basic-human-rights-that-all-people-deserve-what-would-they-be? by Roger Cassiano Ribeiro Ramos

Setting aside politics, which is power-accommodated false-promises, three human-rights each citizen owes their person include 1) to accept that they are a human-being and subsequently exert the quarter-century’s work to acquire comprehension& intention to so live, 2) to accept that fidelity to the-ineluctable-truth is the only way to contribute to humankind’s responsibility to the living species and to the world, and 3) to choose to practice, facilitate, and encourage civic-integrity rather than civil-religion. “Ineluctable” means “not to be avoided, changed, or resisted” http://merriam-webster.com.

As for political “life, liberty, and property”, the 1774 USA founders neither promised nor appealed-for the three in the 1776 declaration of war for independence from England. They rebutted Englishman John Locke’s claim that the human-being is a property of Locke’s God (the English Bill of Rights, 1689). They ignored the Protestant-Trinity advocated by the Church of England, with constitutional seats (26) in Parliament. They claimed authority to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness under Nature’s God---neither Locke-God nor the English-Trinity. Experienced in ongoing war by France and England, they looked to “the Supreme Judge of the World” for military providence.

French military-providence helped the founders to negotiate global status as 13 free& independent colonies in the 1783 Treaty of Paris. By 1787, the 1776 “good People of these Colonies” realized they could not survive as 13 global states. Therefore, 12 states met in 1787 and created a nation predicated on disciplined people in their states holding a central government responsible to a federal-republic.

Unfortunately, the good faction of We the People of the United States allowed the 1789 Congress to re-establish English precedent despite the 1787 U.S. Constitution. The continuum “ourselves and our Posterity” has suffered the tyranny ever since---for 234 years, perhaps 12 generations accommodating Congressional tyranny.

I gleaned the principles in my first paragraph from work to understand 1787 U.S. intentions, expressed in its abstract preamble (the U.S. preamble). I continually update my comprehension. We, the 2021 “ourselves and our Posterity” (including legal immigrants) can re-establish those intentions, according to our individual comprehensions& commitments by three actions with follow up.

First, amend the First Amendment in order to establish, facilitate, and encourage civic-integrity rather than civil-religion. Let responsible-religions thrive on metaphysical hopes and comforts their customers trust. Second, require the U.S. Supreme Court to pursue necessity& justice based on the-ineluctable-evidence rather than on judicial-opinion, especially English precedent. Let the Court suggest new legislation when necessity& justice demand it. Third, license voting to adults who own a personal interpretation of the U.S. preamble and evidence of recent aid to its accomplishment. Applicants for military service need only own an interpretation, and applicants for local, state, or federal office must have recent accomplishments. These proposals may seem revolutionary: I consider them evolutionary to U.S. intentions.

The intended faction We the People of the United States never got past 1789 Congress, and now, we can, we may, we must---for ourselves and our Posterity.

quora.com/Why-are-the-Articles-of-Confederation-considered-more-libertarian-than-the-Constitution? by Sheeraj Mian

Thank you for an interesting question. I don’t think the comparison is so considered. Although “liberal” is not the same, acslaw.org/expertforum/our-liberal-constitution/ may shed some light.

Merriam-webster.com suggests that “libertarian”, adjective, means expressing “the principles of individual liberty especially of thought and action”; collinsdictionary.com/ adds “in the way that they want”. The Articles of Confederation preserves power to the states and the 1787 U.S. Constitution reserves power to “the good People” in their states, the quotes referring to the 1776 Declaration.

U.S. history may be viewed in 4 parts, the fourth a candidate for evolutionary reform.

First, 13 formerly loyal British colonies and “the good People” therein, about 40% of free-inhabitants, declared war for independence from England. I think the founders anticipated military aid from France. They issued the Articles of Association on October 24, 1774 and the Declaration in 1776. They then replaced allegiance to the king and parliament with a weak central government, leaving most powers to the individual states; the Articles of Confederation were ratified by the states on March 1, 1778.

Second, England (9,000 military personnel) surrendered to France (30,000) and the Continental Army (11,000) at Yorktown, VA in September, 1781. England granted the 1783 Treaty of Paris, naming 13 free& independent states, who ratified the treaty in January, 1784. The Continental Congress had neither global nor domestic power. The founders’ political power faded.

Third, admitting both foreign and domestic vulnerability, 12 states met to create national authority. The framers specified a representative-republic designed to prevent democratic chaos and to establish, facilitate, and encourage domestic discipline: responsible-human-independence (RHI) to the continuous faction of We the People of the United States who want it. The 5 domestic disciplines are: integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity. The signers, 39 of 55 framers, made RHI possible on September 17, 1787. Unfortunately, the opportunity was short lived and lies dormant. We, the “ourselves and our Posterity” of today may activate the quest for RHI.

Fourth, in March, 1789, the first Congress, representing 11 states was seated and began restoring English tradition every way they could. Blackstone was more important to them than the 1787 Constitution and its intentions, stated in the preamble. A unconstitutional factional-American-Protestant influence on Congress would compete with Parliament’s constitutional-divinity, with 26 seats assigned to the Church of England, still reeling from Catholic wars. The travesty of Congress’ 1791 Bill of Rights plagues “the good People” of We the People of the United States to this day.

We, the current generation of “ourselves and our Posterity” can restore the 1787 U.S. intentions starting with 3 legislative amendments. First, amend the First Amendment in order to promote civic-integrity to the people rather than civil-religion to Congress. Second, require the U.S. Supreme court to transition from rule under judicial opinion to law in conformance with the-ineluctable-truth. “Ineluctable” means “not to be avoided, changed, or resisted” merriam-webster.com. Third, license voting only to citizens who own a personal interpretation of the intentions abstractly stated in the preamble to the U.S. Constitution and can show evidence of what they did lately to aid “ourselves and our Posterity”.

I know this seems radical, only because of the tyranny We the People of the United States has accommodated since March, 1789.

We may choose to create a fifth part of U.S. history: establishing individual& collective responsible-human-independence (RHI) instead of preserving Anglo-American tradition: tyranny.

Phil Beaver does not “know.” He trusts in and is committed to the-objective-truth which can only be discovered. Conventional wisdom has truth founded on reason, but it obviously does not work.
