"Civic"
refers to citizens who collaborate for individual
happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or
society. Civic citizens neither initiate nor accommodate harm to or from
anyone. Civic citizens are reliably responsible to the good rather than the bad
in connections and transactions.
Consider
writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens
mutual appreciation: For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and
paraphrase its proposal as follows: The civic faction, We the People of the United States,
proffer and practice six public pursuits —- integrity, justice, safety,
strength, prosperity, and responsibility, “in order to” pursue happiness “to
ourselves and our Posterity”. I want to improve
my interpretation by listening-to and considering other citizens and their
interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787 text, unless it is
amended by the civic-people.
It seems the
Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one with status has challenged
whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this
independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states
deliberately managed by appreciative fellow citizens convinces me the preamble
is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the faction who
collaborate for statutory justice, We the People of the United States.
Every citizen
has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in
the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try
somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the
goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies
grandchildren to both born Americans and legal immigrants. Congressional
freedom of religion, which fellow citizens have no means to constrain,
oppresses freedom to develop integrity. This can be remedied by changing the
First Amendment from “prohibiting” to “promoting”.

Recently, he considers expatriate involvement or more in

Every individual may and can constrain chaos in the way they

way of living plus enough to pay local, state, and national taxes to provide
and maintain essential infrastructure including the pursuit of statutory
justice.
Justice is required, because some individuals want exclusive favor. Civic
citizens provide government and assign them limited responsibility to legislate,
administer, and adjudicate harm caused by dissidents and rebels against
responsibility.
The civic citizen votes for candidates who intend to pursue and maintain
statutory justice in the market, never supporting rights, favor, and other
injustices to self.
I know of no culture that pursues civic integrity. However,

Constitution. Perhaps a civic society will mimic and effect its principles.

I like the discussion but have a different perspective.
Since about 2013, I wanted to do all I could to keep Baton
Rouge intact. That is, persuade St. George not to form a separate city. I
learned that online-expressing my opinion to unknown audience is more
productive than appealing to friends, neighbors, churches, and elected
officials.
Also, having a 3 minute conversation with a person at my
walking park is more rewarding than visiting at Sunday school and church (which
I do anyway).
For example, as I was walking on Thursday, a familiar Bible
passage came to mind, and for the first time, I perceived my solution to a
familiar riddle. I saw parents with their small boy and said, "I am a
writer and just solved a riddle. May I share it with you and get your reaction

They both answered, "Yes."

The gentleman thought and said, "Jesus' influence was
possible when the first human appeared."

The paradox is: To accept human power, authority, and responsibility to

There's more, and I appreciate this second opportunity.
I think Dona and I, together, pursued Yeshua, the precocious political and
religious philosopher, who was born to Aramaic-speaking Jews in Nazareth, 2000
years ago. None of humankind's philosophers have received comparable
consideration and competition.
I regret discovery too late to learn Dona's view about Yeshua's civic
influence. "Civic" refers to reliable-responsibility to necessary
goodness on earth. I do not always know the necessary goodness, so pursue

The European chorus is "our democracy"; President
Trump’s representative, Keith Kellogg eloquently responds that the United
States is a republic.
Any American citizen or inhabitant who uses the phrase "our
democracy" discloses personal opposition if not arrogance to the United
States Constitution. Maybe they're influenced by European grants/support or
confused by the right to vote. Neither bemusement excuses their ignorance of
the United States intention: to pursue civic justice through the rule of law.
The civic faction of We the People of the United States intentionally discovers
unjust laws then amends them, sometimes repeatedly, in order to approach if not
establish interconnected statutory justice to life in the United States if not
on earth.
Fortunately, in 2024, a civic people voted for President Trump, empowering him,
based on prior presidency, to choose leaders who, aware or not, collaborate for
statutory justice. Leadership Again is the historic-step-change we are
experiencing, only 236 years into operation under the principles proffered by
the civic faction in 1787 "to ourselves and our Posterity".
Leaders Trump chose to represent a civic people, e.g., Keith Kellogg,
demonstrate that the United States has at last articulated its message to the
nations: there's greatness in the pursuit of statutory justice to life on
earth.
Knowing his cabinet and other leaders and constantly conversing with them,
President Trump maintains his personhood by associating with the people,
intending to increase the civic faction. His family celebrates the world's
progress toward statutory justice.
A world in need is experiencing powerful goodness. The more nations accept
necessary goodness as a self-interest, the better the chances for humankind to
fulfill its purpose: pursuit of necessary goodness.
It cannot happen under democracy, let alone "our democracy".

Dear President Trump:
Today, I watched some of Jim Jordan and Jamie Raskins leading a hearing
on Biden’s censorship of freedom of speech. Raskins seems an unfortunate
adversary and Jordan seems a collaborator to necessary goodness.
Freedom of speech is long-since
controversial. Without freedom to speak, a person cannot discover self-interest
to pursue integrity. Free speech accommodates the discovery of liars, cunning
as they may be. But even liars know not to cry “Fire” in a crowded venue. Some
media speech is tyranny. Freedom of speech seems a contradiction.
Only humankind may and can
choose to order life on earth, in order to achieve necessary goodness.
Education departments ought to teach youth to comprehend and practice necessary
goodness. Citizens who pursue necessary goodness collaborate to aid fellow
citizens who need it, challenge dissidents, constrain criminals, and eliminate
evils. Civic citizens collaborate.
Please promote freedom of
collaboration above freedom of speech. Leave to legislators and judges

Dear President Trump:
Today, I’m monitoring the Senate hearing, preceding the vote for Kash
Patel as FBI Director. I’m observing collaboration to necessary goodness vs
chosen badness.
The good vs bad debate extends beyond political party. Collaborators for
the bad ignore the better arguments of collaborators for necessary goodness.
The past four years clarified 50 to 70 years drift toward FBI badness,
accelerated by the Obama administration. It seems Obama and the Clintons
collaborated to control the Biden administration. Ironically, they hurt the
Democrat Party.
Their collective commitment to weaponization of the judicial branch
exceeded interest in the Democrat Party. In consequence, after 70 to 100 years’
bemusement, the civic faction of We the People of the United States essentially
abandoned the Democrat Party, convinced by the evidence that you, President
Trump, are, above all else, an exceptional collaborator and negotiator to the
necessary good. Moreover, you seem to assert that in some cases you do not know
the necessary goodness, so wait for additional evidence. You express humility
to higher power, unknown as it may be.
Impactfuly, collaboration is accompanied by a noun,
"collaborator", commonly used in the negative. Someone who aids

Dear Sirs and Madams,
The United States needs majority jury verdicts in criminal court and
should allow states to use them. England uses them. Ramos v Louisiana (2020)
was shockingly argued on a lie.
Ramos v. Louisiana,
https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/590/18-5924/, in a 6:3 vote imposes
12:0 criminal jury verdicts on the states. Ramos contested "his conviction
by a nonunanimous jury as an unconstitutional denial of the Sixth Amendment
right to a jury trial". Justice Gorsuch actively opined with Ramos.
Here's Amendment 6: "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall
enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State
and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall
have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and
cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to
have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the
Assistance of Counsel for his defence."
The key phrase in A6 is "an impartial jury of the State and district
wherein the crime shall have been committed". In a diverse society,
judicial statistics favor majority verdicts. Informed as they are, even the
Supreme Court uses 5:4 verdicts.
Given the factional political views of American jurists, statistics favor
non-unanimous criminal juries. Louisiana had 9:3 jury verdicts in 1898 and 10:2
in 1794 but an activist legislature sponsored a racially motivated public
referendum to establish unanimous juries in 2018.
Gorsuch egregiously cited 14th century English law, when "Majority
verdicts have been allowed in England and Wales since the Criminal Justice Act

Purpose of the English provision is to lessen organized crime's influence on
trials.
I think today's Supreme Court is less activist and would reverse the
injustice imposed on Louisiana, Oregon, and any of the 50 states whose
legislatures seek to improve justice.
To restore Louisiana citizens' rights to participate in non-unanimous
juries would also require reversal of the racially motivated public referendum
of 2018.
I feel confident the present Trump administration would call this
important judicial reform common sense.
