"Civic"
refers to citizens who collaborate for individual
happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or
society. Civic citizens neither initiate nor accommodate harm to or from
anyone. Civic citizens are reliably responsible to the good rather than the bad
in connections and transactions.
Consider
writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens
mutual appreciation: For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and
paraphrase its proposal as follows: “We,
the civic faction in the United-States-republic collaborate to improve 6 public
practices: integrity, justice, safety, strength, prosperity, and responsibility
--- ‘in order to’ motivate goodness ‘to ourselves and our Posterity’.” I want to improve my interpretation by
listening-to and considering other citizens and their interpretations yet would
preserve the original, 1787 text, unless it is amended by the civic-people.
It seems the
Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one with status has challenged
whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this
independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states
deliberately managed by appreciative fellow citizens convinces me the preamble
is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the faction who
collaborate for statutory justice, We the People of the United States.
Every citizen
has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in
the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try
somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the
goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies
grandchildren to both born Americans and legal immigrants. Congressional
freedom of religion, which fellow citizens have no means to constrain,
oppresses freedom to develop integrity. This can be remedied by changing the
First Amendment from “prohibiting” to “promoting”.

his supporters praise one of the Abrahamic Gods or other Divinity according to
religious doctrine.
Institutional focus on economic, political, and military success distract the
people from goodness. Consequently, humankind is divided. A civic faction
practices goodness, preserving the opportunity for passives, dissidents,
rebels, spirituals, criminals, and the wicked to reform before they die. The
civic faction aids civil annihilation of evil.
Imposing God-mysteries,
theisms keep humankind divided; unable to collaborate for goodness. The chief victim
of humankind’s pursuit of mysterious power, authority, and responsibility (PAR)
is children. Neither materialism nor war influences children to develop their
unique opportunity to choose goodness in every action they take; to change,
avoid, or resist every bad action and not repeat even one mistake. Thereby,
each person may perfect their choices before dying.
I do not
think ending religions would be wise. However, believers may and can influence
their religious-institutions to reform. Adults may and can aid every child in
lifetime intentions and comprehension to choose goodness in every action.
Religions are better positioned to serve this intellectual endeavor, leaving
collaborative material-provisions to the nations.
Let’s get started by changing the United States republic’s motto to “We Commit
to Diligent Humility” rather than “In God We Trust”, accepting the power that
constrains the consequences of human choice without objection or arrogance.

It seems you suggest righteousness, compassion, and justice. I think Yeshua of
Judea, 2000 years ago, exemplified and taught those 3 behaviors in ways we’d

of goodness. The message is repeated in Matthew 18:18.
Badness happens when people defer to either their religion or to The Lord

Europe never accepted the N. American colonial-war for
independence. 13 English colonies north of Spanish Florida chose to conduct the

Now, the United States republic consists of 50 states, a federal district, 5

Caring for my bedridden wife for 5 years, our daughters
taught me to soap-brush under my fingernails after I carried out the trash.
My wife's PSP-diagnosing-doctors had said she would survive
5 weeks to 5 months.
Our daughters turned it into 5 wonderful years, during which

Pamela, you are too wonderful to not be loved in widowhood.
When Cynthia and I planned for possible deaths, we chose a
couple to be our 3 children's guardians if we both died. We wrote identical
wills. Aware of the conflicts that can arise from step parenting, we wrote that
the surviving spouse would divide the estate if they remarried. Louisiana law
does not allow enforcement, so we wrote it as a wish. Also, I told Cynthia that
if she died before me it would not be 2 years before I remarried, because life
with her was so wonderful. She said she would not remarry without saying why.
As a widower, I met or knew of many women, but could not get
Cynthia out of my attention. I shared this experience with our friend Jim
Bozeman. He said something like, "Phil, Cynthia will never leave your mind
and memory. However, there is out there a woman who would respond to you
wonderfully, and she deserves a chance with you."

When Yeshua, in Galilee 2000
years ago, urged people to turn to goodness rather than the ways of the world,
the competitive descendants of ancient Semitic-speaking Mesopotamians warred to
promote their chosen theisms. Factions developed Judaism, Islam, and
Christianity. Each one trusts blood sacrifice in order to bargain with their
doctrinal theism. Theism's victim is a theism; that is, no theism; in other
words, civic integrity rather than the opposite of theism.
Cultures in Judea and Samaria were influenced by two major language families:
Afro-Asiatic Family (Semitic Branch) and the Indo-European Family. Included are
Aramaic, Hebrew, Akkadian, Assyrian, and Arabic plus Old Persian and ancient
Greek. Zoroaster spoke an Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European family. He
denounced blood sacrifice, in order to promote good thoughts, good words, and
good deeds.
President Trump promotes good which motivates goodness and relies on
that-power-which-constrains-the-consequences-of-human-choice to inform
humility. He laments badness and evil that harms children as well as their
fake-news advocates. Without accurate, precise, and deep archives, humankind

Yeshua taught that to pursue perfection the commander-in-chief must humble

The world is so focused on competition that they war over whose blood sacrifice
