Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual appreciation:  For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase it for my interpretation of its proposal as follows We the People of the United States proffer & practice 5 public disciplines —- integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity, “in order to” encourage & facilitate responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity”. I want to improve my interpretation by listening to other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787, text, unless it is amended by the people.

It seems the Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who collaborate for human justice.

Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.

Appreciating the-God

People take for granted that their personal God is the-God. However, it seems prudent to reserve appreciation to the-God: appreciation that might be acceptable to the-God.

Of course, it is unlikely that anyone will come face to face with the-God. But if they did, they’d suffer chagrin if the-God was not their personal-God.

Just as I have not the faith to assert the-God does not exist, I have not the faith to choose other than the-God.

That’s only my choice for me. Let each person decide for themselves.

However, I think it is essential that each person continuously aid safety& security on earth, regardless of their choice about the-God.

With 2/3 of society comprehending, intending& practicing as human-beings, the majority could& might characterize justice based on ineluctable-evidence of harm& perpetrator. Ineluctable means “not to be avoided, changed, or resisted”.

However, most people “just want to live”. They let others determine necessity& justice. Consequently, elite opportunists develop power, in order to impose corruption rather than justice. Justice is characterized by military power.

The majority accommodates tyranny. Some people pray to their personal God to stop the pain and loss. However, the-God makes it plain that only human-being can& may pursue safety& security on earth. Prayer’s vain substitution for responsibility has rendered the U.S. Constitution impracticable. Only the people can restore the republic. The first necessary change is to amend the First Amendment so as to replace religious freedom to Congress& the Supreme Court with practice, facilitation& encouragement to civic integrity.

Each individual who chooses to constrain chaos in their way of living increases the chance of approaching 2/3 participation in safety& security “to ourselves and our Posterity”.

I think so.

An idea expressed in Genesis 1:27 seems more ancient than Hebrew scholars: “in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them”. I think the God is whatever constrains the consequences of human-being choice.

From my experiences& observations, the ancient principle is grounded in the physics of procreation. Spouses are faithful to the immediate family during the lifetimes of members and descendants. Thus, fortunate grandparents are faithful to great grandchildren. Since the ova come from the woman, manliness supports her social preferences to the children and maintains his personal inspiration& motivation.

Manliness seeks its opportunity for union with female yet is serenely confident if unrequited. The single person does not seek to procreate, because aid from a person external to the family would be required. The single person who chooses not to apply this principle can& may compensate to the offspring.

I’ve found that I cannot express to fellow-citizens a policy, insist on my policy, and depart without perception of error. Consequently, I share opinion I earned, work to focus the discussion on the idea, then listen to fellow-citizens for their experiences& observations that might improve my perspective.

For example, imagine I’m invited to a discussion of truth. In the past, I would propose changing the topic to the-objective-truth, asserting that evidence is essential: reason and other human constructs are insufficient. Without ineluctable* evidence, we can say what we perceive then emphasize: “But I don’t know the-objective-truth”. *Ineluctable means “not to be avoided, changed, or resisted”.

Noting that new instruments change perception of the-ineluctable-evidence, I realized that the end discovery may be the-ineluctable-truth. Thus, humankind, intentionally or not, discovers ineluctable-evidence and how to positively use it as the-objective-truth. Then we continue research to invent new instruments of perception, in order to continually approach the-ineluctable-evidence. When we reach ineluctable perception, we may then know the-ineluctable-truth. Yet there may exist some unknowables.

For example, it seems evident that physics& its-progeny --- mathematics, forces, chemistries, psychology, fiction, indeed everything --- is controlled by the laws of physics. What controls human choice and can that power be perfected?

If choice can be universally perfected, human-utopia is a justifiable goal. If not, due regard to past error requires appreciation of traditions that were neglected.

For example, many wedding vows express the guidance: “a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh”. This may be an ancient metaphor for principles only now discernable. The laws of physics suggest that the woman’s genes and memes tend to pass on to her ova, each made unique by the man’s genes. If the man attempts to impose traditions from his father and mother to his wife and offspring, he creates conflict in his own treasure: his family. I express this opinion hoping for comments that might improve my perspective.

Approaching age 79, I read, write, speak& listen to develop the civic-integrity needed for responsible-human-independence (RHI). “Civic” refers to reliable connection& transaction to another person more than obedience to civil rules that elites develop at the civic center.

I earned opinion in the quest to answer 2 questions. First, with so many wonderful people why is the world confused? Second, with such a wonderful constitutional republic, why is the U.S. in divergent chaos?

I discovered my opinion during the last couple years. During the last 10,000 years of 300,000 years’ homo sapiens dominance, humankind has accelerated political divergence despite exponential technology-development. At first, some civilizations reasoned, if not observed, that the Gods were powerless to pursue safety& security on earth. Perhaps only one culture, Sumer, organized politically to respond to necessity& justice in human duty to the-good, notwithstanding the Gods of polytheism.

About 4,000 years ago, appreciation of the-good failed as individuals attended to the-God. Many civilizations developed& nourished – constructed -- a doctrinal-God intended to dominate other civilizations’ Gods – win wars and domestically coerce the-good. Appreciation to the-God and to the-good was lost.

Most of the world’s inhabitants subscribe to one of the doctrinal-Gods or to a philosophy. Individuals tend to adopt the way of living passed on to them during their first quarter-century of life. They’re trained to “keep the faith of their mothers”.

The Internet has made it obvious to civic-citizens that neither the-God nor government can usurp the individual’s duty to acquire the civic-integrity needed to practice, facilitate, and encourage RHI. The individual can& may ignore discipline imposed by mystery or by government. However, RHI is a self-interest, and soon we’ll observe humankind flourishing again; I think so, but don’t know.

I hope your question and my response goes viral, because the more people who appreciate the-God the better, in my opinion.

Since I don’t know the-ineluctable-truth (ineluctable meaning “not to be avoided, changed, or resisted” especially if unknown), my opinion is not interesting to anyone but me.

But if someone asked, I’d say this: the-God seems like whatever constrains the consequences of each human choice.

It is human-being’s duty to discover the-ineluctable-truth and use it positively. Ineluctable means “not to be avoided, changed, or resisted”, which is beyond “unalterable”. And that whatever-constrains-human-choice is sacred is an opinion about the God-mystery. It’s a Locke-constructed leap of faith I cannot take.

The 1774 founders of the USA wrote “the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God” perhaps to partially rebuke Locke plus to claim their-God would defeat the English-God, the reformed-Catholic Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The founders further rebuked Locke by false-promising “unalienable Rights . . . Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” rather than Locke’s “to preserve his property, that is, his life, liberty and estate”, Locke having defined a person as a property of Locke-God.

Homo sapiens, the recent, non-unalterable human-being, can& may set aside “natural law” in order to focus on the laws of physics; ignore mystery rather than neglect integrity; establish responsible-human-independence (RHI) at last. Accept that whatever constrains human choice will not usurp the human condition: human-beings can& may choose civic-integrity; human-beings can& may practice, facilitate& encourage safety& security to civic-citizens on earth.

I think your comment would be enrichened with specificity about “God”. Do you refer to your-God or the-God of the God-mystery? If the latter, could the-God be whatever constrains the consequences of each human choice? Could the laws of physics be constraining everything including lies& fiction? Absolutely not.

The human-being has the duty to neither initiate nor accommodate harm to or from any person. The civic-citizen knows this and appreciates fellow citizens who practice, facilitate, and encourage safety& security.

This appreciation principle operates mutually among citizens who share it. Thereby, warm greeting is as usual as internal focus so intense there is no greeting – only privacy. However, not every citizen appreciates life.

The moment there is offense, appreciation gives way to caution. If caution cannot be overcome, appreciation dissipates to apprehension; and apprehension to departure. When there is no recourse, there is no chance for respect.

Appreciation’s greatest strength is that it does not accommodate harm. The person who advocates respect due to mere existence does not appreciate human-being.

I have several concerns. I convert this ancient thought to: If you want safety& security, understand defenses. I consider indoctrination more threatening than war. For example, I doubt time on the Internet and much prefer transparent conversation.

First, peace represents utopia, which is unattainable, and is therefore an un-civic goal. “Civic” expresses reliability in human connections& transactions. Each human-being can& may behave so as to aid establishment of utopia. However, some persons miss either the opportunity, or the power, or the energy, or the authority to acquire the civic-integrity needed for responsible-human-independence (RHI). Therefore, civic-citizens have the duty to constrain dependent fellow-citizens. Necessity& justice require the rule of law, law enforcement, and continual research to increase statutory reliability. With varying qualities of both civic-citizens and dependent fellow-citizen, humankind can& may pursue safety& security so that most citizens may responsibly pursue the happiness they personally envision rather than submit to someone else’s wish for them.

Second, war seems a global staple no entity can& would constrain: most nations can avoid war but some do not want to. Consequently, the civic-citizenry monitors military power, in order to invent and maintain adequate defenses. As in all other functions, the civic-citizen earns the money to pay for RHI including infrastructure such as domestic law enforcement and national defense. The civic-citizen aids law enforcement first by observing the law. Passive citizens and resident aliens get a free ride on the provision of safety& security.

The free-ride is an artifact of the human condition: each person can& may develop a dependency& risk constraint rather than practice, facilitate& encourage RHI.

Government-elites claim they preserve rights only to keep civic-citizens from accepting, practicing, facilitating, and encouraging the obvious: only the individual can constrain chaos in their way of living so as to increase their chance to preserve their life.

The U.S. is in divergent chaos. Civic-citizens can& may heed a 5,500 year-old suggestion:  Mankind is solely responsible for peace on earth. And not everyone accepts that, so those who do must aid the rule of law so as to constrain those who for various reasons do not aid the rule of law.

Pleading to church or state is no substitute for responsible-human-independence (RHI).

Chris, I agree with your concern and expression "let our children have a childhood". Getting specific about how to do that, I'm thinking the best process is for parents to educate their children in sex, lies, and video before allowing them into public spaces and activities, especially social media.

Furthermore, reform from the tradition of teaching children fantasies& perceptions they must unlearn. Teach children that Santa Claus is a vehicle for commercial greed that plays on society's attraction to a season of good will to human kind. Teach that the earth's rotation at 1000 mph surface speed unhides the sun each morning rather than "the sun comes up" and traverses "the heavens". Teach them human reproduction, mutual attraction chemistry, female& male spousal commitment to her-family through grandchildren or more, public-service-decades a vehicle for self-discovery more than to earn a responsible way of living, and to practice, facilitate, and encourage the intention to perfect civic-integrity before dying.

Judging from children I met, some parents seem to be taking charge, notwithstanding my approach. There are many excellent children and adolescents in 2022. I trust them to address evil much better than I could.

I'm convinced that evil, empowered by the Internet, is at last defeating religion. That may not be bad, because it makes clear to humankind that neither government, nor institutional-God, nor private-God can usurp the human-being's self-duty to practice, facilitate, and encourage responsible-human-independence (RHI). Human-being civil-discipline can& may yield-to civic-integrity.

Government& God can be ignored. But whatever constrains the consequences of human choice is ineluctable. I think it is the laws of physics& its-progeny. That is, the laws of physics cannot be avoided, changed, or resisted.

In taking to the streets in neighborhoods where Supreme Court justices live, progressives have taken the Alinsky-Marxist organizational (AMO) view:  If an AMO-progressive thinks their rights have been denied/questioned, they claim the liberty to commit violence. It matters not that fellow citizens object to psychological violence: progressives license themselves. The justice’s family is inconvenienced and neighbors’ lives are disrupted. Progressives invite constraint.

The civic-citizens of the United States keep on practicing the 1787 U.S. intentions: integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity. Therefore, they do not learn the names and home addresses of the progressives so as to perpetrate psychological violence on the progressives.

To the civic-citizens, it’s not a matter of the law. They trust-in and commit-to the long-standing U.S. intentions: responsible-human-independence (RHI) “to ourselves and our Posterity”.

RHI is grounded in the-ineluctable-truth. Ineluctable means “not to be avoided, changed, or resisted”. Whatever constrains each person’s choices does not yield to AMO. I think physics& its-progeny constrain choices, yet I do not know the-ineluctable-truth.

For the first time, I doubt claiming humility to the-ineluctable-truth. Just now, I perceive humility an evaluative claim, and I am incapable of descerning the-ineluctable-truth.

I think Musk is being political to allow his name to be associated with accusing President Donald Trump. Third, their 6:3 opinion was grounded in 14th century English law, ignoring their current 10:2 verdicts. Fourth, the Louisiana Legislature acted unconstitutionally when it made ending Louisiana's 10:2 rule a referendum rather than upholding the law. Fifth, some citizens think DNA is valid to release innocent people but invalid to prove guilt and would not articulate their opinion. The people of Louisiana and the USA can demand reform to the more reliable majority jury verdict.

I suppose “onus” means “burden”. Perhaps “truth” means factual reality about something. We may reason that factual reality is not a burden if the something is of no interest.

In the rush to promote itself as the word of God, Christianity hides from the world the practical Jesus.

For example, Jesus suggests a man does not divorce his wife, because: “a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh”.

When 2 become one, assessment of equality is not possible.

I hope my wife of 52 years marriage plus 2 in courtship feels I am equal to her. She is the wittiest, serenely-confident person I know. When I enter the room, her eyes are on me and excite my appreciation.

Christianity is only about 1600 years old, so it is not too late for reform. Having 45,000 sects seems problematic but need not be. What’s needed is acceptable humility toward whatever constrains the consequences of a human-being’s choices.

There is a way to bring the truth out:  Demand the-ineluctable-truth.

Every person can& may disallow the word “truth” by demanding response to the-ineluctable-truth. “Ineluctable” means “not to be avoided, changed, or resisted”. The-ineluctable-truth does not respond to reason, mystery, or belief.

The-ineluctable-truth is discovered by examining the evidence. Ineluctable-evidence is verified by human-being’s experiences& observations. When discovery has not happened, the person must accept, “I don’t know the-ineluctable-truth”. The prudent person does not act on emotions, such as, to kill someone who is not attacking them.

Consider, systematic judicial corruption: When the U.S. Supreme Court votes 6:3 to require the states to provide 12:0 jury verdicts instead of 1791-U.S.-Amendment-VI-impartiality, you know the 6 are wrong. You discover the 6 corrupt justices applied 14^th century English law even though 21^st century English law allows 10:2 criminal-jury verdicts. You look further and discover that Louisiana judges and lawyers are benefiting from the federally mandated reviews of 1500 murder convictions with non-unanimous juries.

In another example, when a church proclaims “We have a strong God” they are arrogant toward the-God:  The church that retains humility toward whatever constrains the consequences of human choice& action is prudent. I think physics& its-progeny constrain human choice. For example, a person can& may claim to be the-God, yet bleeds.

Demanding the-ineluctable-truth is not easy. However, accepting “truth” creates chaos.

Now that you know a way, use and promote it. Every time you utter “the-ineluctable-truth” you’ll probably hear “What’s that?” When you explain it, you’ll receive appreciation and wonder as to why they did not know the word “ineluctable”. You can change the future. The challenge is to educate 2/3 of civic-citizens to prefer “the-ineluctable-truth” rather than “the truth” and to seek ineluctable-evidence.

Here's a wonderful story about Cynthia's serene confidence and goodness: it comes from family.

If I am lucky enough to be 1) reincarnated and 2) allowed to find Cynthia again, I will court her again. With her approval, I'll ask her dad for her hand in marriage AND to change my name to Phillip R. Marionneaux. I think he would accept my surprising declaration and hope the wedding-officiant would, too.

I'd be expressing the practical Jesus' political philosophy: "a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife". I'm pretty sure "PaPa" would accept me taking the family name and Cynthia's brother and sister would not object.

Turns out the woman’s decision to remain pregnant as a matter of physics rather than privacy. Maybe she wants to consult with a doctor and maybe only for agreement to a schedule.

If the court owns up to its blunder, Congress can then pass an act admitting that the pregnant woman has the sole prerogative to remain pregnant or not, until the conception has standing, which means a caretaker who is willing to monitor and support gestation and delivery then facilitate and encourage the child during their quarter-century transition from totally dependent infant to young adult with comprehension and intention to develop a complete human being.

I think the newborn is totally ignorant and therefore has no responsibilities yet soon embarks on self-development and can& may succeed.

Infants have instincts that empower a whimper when their body detects hunger or bodily fluids. Neglect changes the whimper to an utter, the utter to cries, and the cries to tears plus misery-to-the-neglectful.

As soon as care is provided, happiness-expression follows. The whimper may change to that welcome sound of infant-contentment.

It is in the infant’s self-interest to learn the rote expressions of need followed by satisfaction in order to keep the care-taker informed. With practice, self-interest transitions to duty.

I think responsibility begins the moment the child is aware of this cycle. From then on, they acquire increasing responsibility and convert from infant to child, to adolescent, to youth who is acquiring comprehension& intention to mature, to adult serving fellow-citizens to earn personally desired way living, then to psychologically& physically mature responsible-human-independence (RHI).

Because no culture inculcates these principles in their youth and adults, few persons reach mature-human-being. Some progress to and die adolescent.

Only a dreamer would think they might be close to an answer as to why more people don’t accept civic-integrity.

About 5,500 years ago, Sumerians observed: the-Gods cannot, so female& male human-being must constrain chaos on earth. Hebrew scholars expressed the suggestion in Genesis 1:28 but in Genesis 2 changed “the God” to “the Lord God”, extending polytheism’s mysteries to monotheism’s vain competitions.

Fast forward to 1776. The founders declared that “Nature’s God” authorized colonial-Protestant-USA to rebuke England and their reformed-Catholic Trinity. With sympathy& providence from France and Spain, they appealed to “the Supreme Judge of the world” for military victory. French military at Yorktown, VA outnumbered both American military and English military, each 3:1. And Spain helped pay the cost.

The 1787 framers specified a constitutional republic with relief from God-mystery and 5 public disciplines in order to practice, facilitate, and encourage responsible-human-independence (RHI) to willing citizens in their states. Colonial Anglo-American loyalists in at least 2 states would not ratify without a Bill of Rights like the 1689 English one. The first Congress granted themselves freedom of religion in 1789 and codified factional American Protestantism in 1791.

Faced with a February 1861 declaration of secession by 7 states, in March, President Lincoln said, “Intelligence, patriotism, Christianity, and a firm reliance on Him who has never yet forsaken this favored land are still competent to adjust in the best way all our present difficulty”. The Civil War was Christian.

Erroneously, most people fear civic-integrity. They seek higher power to usurp their personal duty to constrain chaos in their way of living. In factual reality, neither the-God nor government can usurp the human-being duty to provide peace on earth.

It seems the Sumerians perceived the-Gods could not constrain chaos on earth, so it was up to human-being. Consequently, in only 6,000 years, they invented the wheel, fortified-cities, irrigation, writing, and many more wondrous innovations starting 10,000 years ago.

The introduction of monotheism seemed an improvement on polytheism. Unfortunately, the competing doctrines do not reserve humility toward the unknown: the-God.

Consequently, chaos has increased exponentially. Today, global population is divided 16% unaffiliated and 84% religious; folk religionists 6%, reincarnationists 22%, and monotheists 55%; Muslims 23%, Christians 32% (Jews 0.2%). There are 45,000 Protestant-Christian sects. Human-being is divided.

The warring tyrants of the world easily control divided citizens. Citizens can& may accept 2 precepts of civic-integrity. First, the Gods cannot constrain chaos on earth, so human-being must. Second, military power will not be used to constrain chaos if civic-citizens do not demand it. U.S. citizens can& may constrain government.

Civic-integrity is nothing to fear: The U.S. can& may amend the First Amendment so as to promote civic-integrity to every citizen rather than religious-freedom to Congress.

But we live in the best of times. Some very old habits are being challenged and the-civic-people is considering ineluctably needed reforms.

Hot on the agenda is the Supreme Court. The entity "ourselves and our Posterity" can& may require them to set aside Anglo-American-tradition& precedent to deliberate the-ineluctable-truth.

Justices don't want the entity We the People of the United States to use the word "ineluctable". It means "not to be avoided, changed, or resisted". Intentional murder is outlawed. Non-unanimous criminal jury verdicts are not outlawed in England. However, they are in the U.S., decided on 14th century English law. Louisiana is now beginning to consider retrying 1500 past murder cases due to the Supreme Court's 6:3 opinion that Louisiana's 10:2 verdicts were unconstitutional even though allowed in England in 1967.

More importantly "ourselves and our Posterity" can& may revise the First Amendment in order to facilitate& encourage individual& U.S. civic-integrity rather than religious-freedom-to-Congress.

This thread turns my stomach.

The problem is not religious: it's physical. The Eurocommunists who are trying to destroy the U.S. and mixed economics (private capitalism, welfare, and infrastructure) understand that expansion of government eventually subdues civic-living. Therefore, they sponsor entrepreneurial complexes that can expand government fast. Every customer for sex change they can recruit unintentionally enslaves themselves for life. To proliferate the complex, they must force us to pay the bills.

Someone who perceives their psychology is in the wrong body is brainwashed. Empathy is best expressed by withholding transportation cost to their next appointment with the sex-change industry or its sponsors and redirecting them to a STEM consultant. Preacher? Never. Preacher turned social worker? Never.

If there are any preachers with civic-integrity, they have my apology for the oversight, and I'm waiting to learn the-ineluctable-evidence of the integrity. To appreciative fellow-citizens in the U.S., ineluctable means "not to be avoided, changed, or resisted". Apparently, Europeans allow change but not avoidance or resistance.

Approaching my 80th year, I discovered something that can& may help. Second, churches impose their doctrinal God, in order to bemuse people from considering the-God: whatever controls the consequences of personal choice& action. I guess the laws of physics control the consequences of human actions.

Some churches further bemuse believers by threatening them with the Holy Spirit: ineluctable mystery. Ineluctable means "not to be avoided, changed, or resisted". That is, the factual reality is that the Holy Spirit is a mystery.

The Sumer political philosophy, perhaps 5,500 years old, is expressed in Genesis 1:28 by Hebrew scholars from 3,000 years ago. Taking advantage of what humankind has learned in the recent 6,000 years, I think the message is: Female& male human-being can& may provide order and prosperity to themselves, the lesser species, and the earth (leaving “the heavens” to mystery, perhaps Jesus).

A few statements attributed to Jesus in doubtable opinions expressed decades after Jesus died tend to affirm Genesis 1:28's message. The statements include: be perfect, before Abraham was born I am, aid your government official, the creator made them male and female, and many more. I prefer to think Jesus was a man with special talent in interpreting literature available to him, including most of the Hebrew Bible. The Christian Bible books were not written. However, I see evidence in other literature, such as Agathon's speech in Plato's "Symposium", that Jesus influenced human-beings in any age. Maybe writers plagiarized Plato. I do not know the-ineluctable-truth and admit that Jesus could be the-God. God or man, I want to comprehend the-good, or civic-integrity, as Jesus saw it. I think I can learn that from people who speak and listen with transparency.

Fellow-citizens who claim to speak for the Bible owe it to themselves to consider the Genesis 1:28 message: The individual can& may constrain chaos in their way of living. Jesus affirms that message. Accepting it, fellow citizens may ponder: Does this option decrease chaos in my way of living? If the answer is "No". They can& may choose chaos anyway. But it is in their self-interest to constrain chaos.

The sex-change industrial complex increases chaos. Individuals can& may continue to support an evil industry.

Judeo-Christian judges& lawyers can& may be civic-citizens

I prefer the U.S. constitutional republic to democracy, social democracy, mob rule, communism, socialism, and Judeo-Christianity – just another tyranny over responsible-human-independence (RHI). RHI is the national destiny that is proffered in the preamble to the U.S. Constitution.

Consequently, I suffer no grief over wokism’s modern attack on the long-standing tyranny of Anglo-American tradition in the West. It is promoted primarily by the English Commonwealth of Nations, who may never understand American genes and memes.

On the threshold to my 80^th year, I accept that I never was a Baptist, as Mom wanted rather than the civic Protestant Dad wanted. Furthermore it took me 50 years, during the last 40 of which I could have enjoyed acceptance of my faith in the-ineluctable-truth to reform to my person. Without example, facilitation, and encouragement, I instead pressed on to satisfy Dad, Mom, or either of my siblings, depending on the decade.

“Ineluctable” means ‘not to be avoided, changed, or resisted”. Once a human-being accepts that the laws of physics constrain human-choice, there is nothing to avoid, change, or resist. If the ineluctable-evidence is not yet discovered, the person may accept “I don’t know”. There is no mystery, no passion, no intention, no incentive to try to impose hope& comfort in order to force the laws of physics to change, accommodate, or cooperate.

The U.S. has arrived at constitutional chaos because Congress granted itself freedom-of-religion by which to tyrannize fellow-citizens. Justices on the Supreme Court have preserved that Anglo-American tradition since March 1789 when an 11-state Congress was seated.

The civic entity We the People of the United States can& may amend the First Amendment, in order to promote civic-integrity rather than Congressional-religion. The Supreme Court justices can practice, facilitate, and encourage the reform starting in May 2022.

I perceive no excuse for sympathizing with lawyers ruining fellow-lawyer’s careers and think justices should suffer the same in-fighting. I have a suggestion for Anglo-American precedent:  Just end it and take up the-ineluctable-evidence as basis for court decisions. Ineluctable means, in America, “not to be avoided, changed, or resisted”. Europeans seem to allow evidence-change based on reason/religion.

The entire system regressed from the 1787 U.S. republic with public discipline to the 1791 unconstitutional re-establishment of colonial, Anglo-American law, complete with religious freedom to Congress at the expense of the civic entity “We the People of the United States”. “Civic” refers to reliability in human connections and transactions rather than civil precedent.

Weingarten’s words choices reek with John Locke impositions: liberty& justice rather than necessity& justice; “God-fearing, freedom-loving patriots” instead of responsibility-bearing integrity-appreciating civic-citizens.

As the advisor says, consider reform before mounting offense against fellow-citizens who demand relief from long-standing, orthodox-oppression.

I wrote to President Trump for 5 years urging reform from the First Amendment’s unconstitutional provision of freedom of religion to Congress. I urged support for civic-integrity “to ourselves and our Posterity”. My next presidential-primary vote will go to the candidate who proposes this reform.

I expect Pence taught Trump a lesson: the U.S. commander-in-chief cannot rely on a man who claims to witness for Jesus. No man should nourish such arrogance. No man can witness for Jesus. I doubt it, but would not be astonished to learn that Jesus authored the 5,500 year-old political philosophy that is expressed in Genesis 1:28. The philosophy -- human-being independently responsible for peace on earth -- came from Sumer; before Abraham was born.

Let’s develop necessity& justice based on the-ineluctable-evidence and re-assign legal-precedent lawyers& judges to private-sector jobs and pay.

Being religious or not is no excuse for un-civic behavior. "Civic" refers to reliable connections& transactions between fellow-citizens.

We, the 2022 "ourselves and our Posterity" can& may consider this principle and practice, facilitate, and encourage civic-integrity in the coming elections. Beginning today, we can& may let candidates know that if they perceive their religion/none holds them above civic-integrity, We the People of the United States will not allow them to hold office.

Fellow citizens who are government officials can& may practice civic-integrity.

Most of all, the future "ourselves and our Posterity" can& may amend the First Amendment so as to proffer civic-integrity to the people rather than freedom-of-religion to Congress.

Citizens who don't know "ourselves and our Posterity" ought not vote, in order to resist voting against themselves and their children, grandchildren, and beyond. Government officials who don't know We the People of the United States can& may be unelected or fired.

Here's my objection to Dr. Jeremiah's advice: assign your daily duty to the mystery -- the-God.

Genesis 1:28 instructs female& male-human-being to independently provide order& prosperity to the lesser species and to the earth. This political philosophy came from Sumer, where the kings taught that the Gods control the heavens and cannot perform on earth so rely on human-being. (Jesus affirms Genesis 1:26-28, for example, in Matthew 19:4-5 and John 10:34.)

Two thousand years later, Hebrew scholars presented the Sumer philosophy in their language and in Genesis 2 changed from God of creation to "the Lord God" and started a competitive political philosophy. Other tribes developed their competitive philosophies. Other tribes developed their competitive philosophies. Drastic oppositions to the descendants of Issaac developed among the descendants of Ishamel. Among them are the competitors for Islam.

One thousand years later, Gentiles presented the Hebrew story with Jesus the Messiah, Son of God, and element of the Trinity. Christianity entered the competition and by 400 AD there were Eastern, Oriental, and Western Orthodoxies. After Luther Protestant Orthodoxy proliferated, and today, there are 45,000 Protestant sects.

Another 2000 years later, Dr. Jeremiah's urge for us to ask a competing mystery each day to tell us what to do, when 5,500 years ago that same mystery made it plain each human is in charge of constraining chaos in their way of living and providing peace in their human connections and transactions seems futile if not arrogant toward whatever controls the consequences of personal choices.

(Not knowing the-ineluctable-truth, I don't try to address the question: Is chaos the control? I just don't think it is.)

The movie reader may ask: why don't Duvall's noble words inspire practice, facilitation, and encouragement to the-good?

I think love fails:  Appreciation inspires the-good& love.

Education Departments and teachers' unions can& may reform so as to inculcate in each child appreciation for their human lifetime so informed& earnest that most will happily take responsibility to develop their unique person rather than submit to what an entrepreneur has in mind for them. (For example, lifetime subservience to "gender-change".)

Civic-citizens can& may stop accommodating the expansion of government-power while praying to the-God to end the misery and loss only fellow-citizens can stop. That is, the-God will not usurp human-responsibility.

Only voters can limit government-employment to civic-citizens who practice, facilitate, and encourage responsible-human-independence.

Chris, your thumb-up motivated me to speculate about what the-God is, hoping to listen-to& learn-from readers.

All, please read to write a response to 10 suggestions that follow. For interest, consider that the Biden administration is powering the politics to convert boys into girls and vice versa, enslaving for life both subjects-to the gender-transition-industry and you& posterity to the-bill-payments.

First, I don't know the-ineluctable-truth, so can only express opinion. (Ineluctable means not to be avoided, changed, or resisted and modifies "truth" with precision, accuracy, and depth.) My opinion is informed by some of the past reports -- about Sumerian culture, Hebrew scholars, Greek writers like Plato, Catholic canon, Christian canon, papal bulls, slavery-abolition writers, American independence writers, Thomas Paine, George Washington, U.S. constitution framers& signers, Thomas Jefferson, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Southern writers like Faulkner and O'Connor, European classical-liberal writers like Locke and Hume, and most of all by the great political philosopher, Albert Einstein. I apply their suggestions to opportunities to increase my opinion by listening to transparently-sharing fellow-citizens (transparency is a Christopher Nalepa favorite). My purpose is to establish the topic and an opinion then listen.

Not all fellow citizens are transparent. Some protect a dependency. Approaching my 80th year, I realize that my dependency has always been trust-in and commitment-to the-ineluctable-truth, unknown as it may be about something and as inarticulate as I may be. As best I can guess, the-ineluctable-truth is expressed& discovered in the laws of physics. That suggests that physics is the-God. And it would not upset me if that were the-God’s opinion, despite mine. I think there is an entity that controls the consequences of individual human-being choice and action: and don’t know what it is.

Physics& its-progeny, such as mathematics and biology, control everything, including imagination and fiction (by default). Thus, like most humans I know, I am dependent. Yet I own an awareness to which I work to conform: physics& progeny. Physics does not answer to reason, revelation, emotions, passion, science, justice, or any other human activity. Human action can change circumstances by which the laws of physics operate but cannot control consequences. For example, the world cannot control the consequences of the ongoing invasion of Ukraine. I can be upset by wellness challenges (physical or psychological illness) but am better of working to improve self-interest and the attendant benefits to my society.

Necessity& justice demand female& male-human-being to provide peace on earth. We may ask, is human necessity& justice the-God? However, there is little to be gained from changing "necessity& justice" to "the-God". In fact, there is much to lose: "the-God" can be used to persuade citizens to attempt to avoid responsible-human-independence (RHI) by bemusing them with hope that the-God will usurp their individual role in pursuing peace on earth. There's ineluctable-evidence that RHI need-not& cannot be avoided. For example, the parent who neglects their child invites losing the child. The neglectful nation may lose its citizens. This could suggest that negligence is the-God.

We can examine necessity separately from justice. Under positive human response, necessity is caused by physics. For example, female& male mate and the consequence may be a new potential human-being. It takes a quarter-century for an encouraged human-infant to acquire the comprehension& intention to develop their unique human-being. Few young-adults emerge with self-interested comprehension& intention to the-good. However, each human-being has the opportunity, the power, the energy, and the authority to choose either civic-integrity or infidelity. Here, “civic” means mutually reliable human connections and transactions. Each person can& may choose fidelity. This suggests that choice is the-God.

Young adults accept that they can& may develop RHI. However, popular adult-practices the young may observe facilitate& encourage negative dependencies: indolence, religion, crime, tyranny, evil, and worse. The youth observe that these dependencies are nourished by power& money. Often, adults forfeit power& money for sex. The Biden administration promotes sex to elementary students. The youth perceive that the 2022 consequence is chaos that is diverging. Their only hope is to develop RHI anyway. What can motivate them to civic-integrity despite the chaos? It seems obvious that sex is not the-God. Yet we are constrained to ask: why do some people bend over backward for sex?

Social democrats intend to make RHI impossible. Their strategy is to make government so large that no one can resist. For example, they intend to enslave many children in a lifetime irreversibly dedicated to the sex-change industry. Such industries are not capitalism, because the sex-change service is not wanted by a RHI-culture. Capitalism operates on reliable entrepreneurs providing needed& wanted products and services to aware individuals. Communism defines& controls products and services with no regard to the people.

Conservatism preserves economic viability to the human species. For example, necessity& justice demand that a person earn their food& shelter and safety& security. Civic citizens earn what they individually need plus taxes by which to provide the infrastructure for safety& security. That includes support for citizens who would-but-cannot provide their needs. Preserving this economic system is fiscal conservatism. Economics is a progeny of physics, perhaps of the-God; maybe physics invites reform to polytheism. Just as a 2 party system vies for power, polytheism keeps religious institutions from using “God” to distract from “the-God”. That is, when the regime claims God, the people are quick to ask: what God? Maybe by default “God” is the-God. I don’t think so.

Politicians have known for millennia that a religious people can& may be-persuaded to-beg their God to usurp RHI, leaving them vulnerable to tyranny. The British honed the involvement of church in government, constitutionally requiring 26 bishop-seats in the House of Lords. Unfortunately, the American Bar Association reveres "Anglo-American law" and justices use it to tyrannize fellow-U.S.-citizens. American citizens accommodate the tyranny. Individuals invite tyranny when they can-but-don't pursue the necessity& justice of RHI. Thus, religious conservatism exacerbates 2022's divergent chaos.

What motivates citizens to accommodate tyranny? I think two negatives influence dependence. First, no culture practices, facilitates, and encourages RHI to their youth and to adults unto maturity (to “ourselves and our Posterity”; I quoted the preamble to the U.S. Constitution). Second, a human life is too brief for most individuals to overcome the civil practices in their locale, in order to discover and adopt the civic-integrity that is required to pursue the-good. Civic-citizens can& may listen to each other and responsibly pursue the happiness each chooses rather than submit to tyranny. Civic-citizens encounter justice only as providers, witnesses, and jury-service: necessities. When 2/3 of citizens are participating a better future will be possible. This suggests civic-integrity is the-God.

Inculcating RHI is not a new proposal. The Sumer civilization, 5,500 years ago suggested that Enka, their creation-God, assigned responsibility for peace-on-earth to homo sapiens. Sumer kings, for 6,000 years, administered necessity& justice in their locale, leaving the sky-mystery to the Gods to manage. The most complete extant Sumer code is the Code of Hammurabi. The Sumerians were discovering the laws of physics& progeny when ignorance that briny-irrigation concentrates salt and ruins soil. The Sumer demise affirms that physics is the-God.

Only 4,000 years ago, monotheism dominated speculation about the-God, and cultures vied to claim the-chosen-people under tribal-Gods. A recent article refers to 3 orthodox religions: Christianity, Catholicism, and Judaism! It is so easy for social democracy to defeat divided cultures! Not to mention that it makes no difference to a civic-citizen if his neighbor is a Muslim, a Sumer descendant, an orthodox-tewahedo-Ethiopian, a person with faith in no God, a philosopher, or simply an agent to necessity& justice. The tribal beliefs preserve division. This suggests that belief is the-God. But it’s a God of chaos rather than order.

The “Western” competition for dominant personal-God persisted through 1776. Then, formerly loyal British colonists on the American eastern-seaboard declared that “Nature’s God” would defeat the English-Trinity, Catholic or Christian as it may be. They were fully aware that France did not want England to control N. America. Indeed France gave the providence required to invoke the supreme justice of the world at Yorktown, VA, in 1781. This suggests that military-power is the-God.

The 13 free& independent states specified in the 1783 Treaty of Paris could not develop RHI, so 12 of them met to strengthen the union-of-states, the USA. Framers developed the world’s first republic predicated on public discipline or RHI. Just 5 days before the signing, the Committee of Style listed the disciplines: integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity, in order to practice, facilitate, and encourage RHI to “ourselves and our Posterity”. Only 39 of 55 framers signed the 1787 draft U.S. Constitution. States ratification-conventions caused commitment that the first Congress would amend the draft. Thus, the framing of U.S. institutions passed from independent thinkers to politicians. The 1789 USA lessened by re-establishing some Anglo-American tradition.

France took themselves out of RHI-grace with the “Bloody Revolution” of 1789. License to liberty replaced independence. And in 1789, U.S. Anglo-traditionalists who had neither the means nor the intentions to return to England sidelined RHI by restoring British tradition in the 1791 Bill of Rights. This suggests that politics is the-God.

The art called “religion” persuades individuals to choose dependency. People pray for their religion to relieve burdens. Politicians partner with clergy who construct& maintain a persuasive mystery that bemuses people from the self-interest of RHI. The mystery of soul is an excellent tyranny. The prospect of eternal damnation, or reincarnation as a lesser species, or perhaps another mysterious punishment-scheme instills fear that can dissuade an individual from fidelity to self, spouse, family, and fellow-citizens. This suggests that fear is the-God, not a new idea.

The politician-clergy partnership misuses the innate human-tendency to take responsibility. Parental guidance to walk, to talk, to think, and to act is necessary to facilitate and encourage offspring to take responsibility for their person. The process can indoctrinate the unaware-person to dependency for life. If the fallacy, you-have-personal-responsibility-for-your-mysterious-soul, can be inculcated in the child, it may persist until death. Each child has the opportunity, power, energy, and authority to accept that they were not involved in origination of soul and therefore are ineffective respecting its destiny. A responsible human-being can& may leave the mystery of soul to its origins, in order to take responsibility for their unique person. This suggests that responsibility is the-God.

Returning to the-ineluctable-truth, my list is by no means complete. From physics to responsibility, I listed 10 “the-God” suggestions and excluded sex. I hope sharing my opinion will inspire someone to comment so that I can& may be informed to improve my civic-integrity. I accept that something controls the consequences of individual choice& action. By all means, we can& may be humble to the-God, whatever that entity may be.

I continually discover why Jesus strongly influences some civic-citizens of the world: appreciation. Despite all that has been written about him, Jesus’s practice, facilitation, and encouragement-to the-good represents the innate human-condition if the individual nourishes their person unto maturity. Personal-perfection is possible yet unlikely without practice, facilitation, and encouragement.

That is to say, when a newborn baby’s 2 parents and 4 grandparents exemplify, facilitate, and encourage the-good, the baby can& may accept their unique opportunity, power, energy, and authority to develop civic-integrity unto responsible-human-independence (RHI). If so, they may, before dying, approach their perfected person. Perhaps the person chooses RHI because they appreciate living.

I first encountered concretely-suggested human-perfectibility-before-death in Ralph Waldo Emerson’s “Divinity School Address” (1838). The Bible’s Peter& Paul suggested that resurrection to heaven was personal-perfection. Emerson saw Jesus as a man with unique appreciation of human being.

Born to my Eastern-Star-mother and 32^nd-degree-Mason-father, who were competing Southern Baptists and good providers, I keep an open mind to Jesus’ messages that seem affirmed by experiences and observations.

When I read Agathon’s speech in Plato’s “Symposium”, I saw the possibility that Jesus might introduce himself to individuals according to the claim “Before Abraham was born I am”. I perceived Agathon expressed transcendent-appreciation more than passion (eros. I am not aware of another “Agathon-reflection-of-Jesus” and wonder if Greek thought made its way into Bible text (ostensibly the word of the-God).

Recently, I discovered that Genesis 1:28 expresses Sumerian political philosophy in Hebrew terms. Enki, the creation-God, aids other Sumer-Gods who together tend to the heavens only. The-Sumer-Gods rely on human-being responsibility for order& prosperity (peace) on earth. The-Gods cannot usurp human duty. Matthew reports that Jesus affirms Genesis 1:26-28 in Matthew 19:3-4.

Some say “God is love”: perhaps Jesus is appreciation. It seems to me appreciation is sufficient to inspire civic-integrity and love is often inappropriate. I don’t know the-ineluctable-truth.

The Sumer kings from 10,000 years ago until 4,000 years ago, at amazing pace, discovered the laws of physics that empowered them to limit chaos in their lives – invented the wheel, irrigation, fortified cities,  reed-mansions, swamp-mats, and much more. Monotheism emerged, and cultures constructed doctrinal-Gods to favor their particular tribe. Conquered, Sumer dispersed. Descendants have dark hair and many eye colors and some may still be in southern Iraq, practicing ancient livelihoods and crafts.

Regardless of Jesus’ status – man, Son of God, or God -- advocates who transparently pursue Jesus practical ideas can& may benefit. For example, it seems untenable for a man who joined to his wife to divorce her; appreciating this principle could lessen divorce rates. Entreating Jesus to usurp individual-human-responsibility for peace on earth seems unappreciative if not arrogant. Each person may accept and share “my peace I give you”.

Sumer left the suggestion that human-being is responsible to limit chaos -- to provide peace on earth. Monotheism repressed the peace mandate, constructing doctrinal-Gods to be persuaded to usurp the human-responsibility to limit chaos. One tribe’s God would destroy other tribes. Political policies can be judged on whether they lessen chaos and increase peace on earth.

The Agathon story proffers evidence that at least one Buddhist philosophy is grounded in the laws of physics. The Buddhist seeks a mature teacher to help discover& establish RHI (responsible-human-independence) by the student for the future. Once the student consistently practices RHI to the present, they emerge a teacher to the future. Time marches on, presenting new challenges rather than “killing” lessons from the past. Similarly, Jesus’ message, be perfect, lives on as evolution progresses.

The 1787 U.S. Constitution proffers a republic with public disciplines: integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity, assigning personal inspiration& motivation to privacy. However, the 1791 amendment imposes religious doctrine in hopes the-God will usurp the-people’s duties. The practical consequence is 3 American orthodoxies: Christianity, Catholicism, and Judaism and the erroneous claim to Manifest Destiny. With the 1791 religious-freedom to Congress plus the consequentially unrepresented fellow-citizens such as Muslims, Buddhists, Taoists, so called “atheists”, and bountiful others, the USA is already divided for the enemy to conquer. Yet the 2022 or future We the People of the United States can& may reform.

For example, removing Congressional religious constraints, in order to unleash Jesus’ human-appreciation& peace, can& may provide an achievable better-future in the USA and beyond. Jesus’ appreciation of the-good can& may-be neither constrained by tradition nor denied to civic-citizens. It seems “ourselves and our Posterity” can& may choose the-good to prevail.

Nearing my 80th year, I've been asking myself (reading, writing, speaking, and LISTENING to discover an answer): with such wonderful people and 1787 draft constitution, how can Americans be divided?

Christian sects rather than Jesus/God divides Americans. Why reform division? Use it to develop power.

There are 45,000 Christian sects in the world. No need to divide: just take over and let them pray for relief. Jesus, come into my heart; cleanse me; make me whole.

All the while, Jesus affirms Genesis 1:28. Observing on what humankind has observed in 5,500 years, the idea is: female& male-human-being can& may establish peace on earth. See Matthew 19:4-5 and John 20:21, appreciating responsible-human-independence and peace, respectively.
