Judeo-Christian elites betray the people

Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on the-objective-truth, which can only be discovered. The comment box below invites readers to write.

"Civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for individual happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or society.

Consider writing a personal paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual equality:  For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and paraphrase it for my interpretation of its proposal as follows:  This good citizen practices the U.S. disciplines---integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity, "in order to” develop responsible human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity.  I want to improve my interpretation by listening to other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787, text, unless it is amended by the people.

It seems the Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one has challenged whether or not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who collaborate for human justice.

Every citizen has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.

Selected theme from this week

Who would have guessed a Judeo-Christian swamp?

The U.S. is straining at the 234-year old factional-Protestant-Congress tyranny now morphed into a political, Judeo-Catholic U.S. Supreme Court.

This weeks’ essays promote a 4-thousand year-old suggestion that female&male, in the-God’s image, is charged to independently constrain chaos on earth. The U.S. 1776&1787 intentions affirm the suggestion.

President Trump has proved unusual resilience for the-good. But he missed a chance to urge revising the First Amendment to promote civil integrity rather than institutional religion.

We’ll see how it turns out. Meanwhile, every fellow-citizen can, in self-interest, constrain chaos during their lifetime.

Pence set precedent for Jack Dorsey (ISABEL VAN BRUGEN, The Epoch Times) (https://www.theepochtimes.com/leaked-video-reveals-twitter-ceo-jack-dorseys-internal-discussions-before-trump-ban_3657802.html?utm_source=news&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=breaking-2021-01-15-1)

Quoting Dorsey, “I believe this was the right decision for Twitter. We faced an extraordinary and untenable circumstance, forcing us to focus all of our actions on public safety.” This reminds me of another egregious event, starting on January 5, 2021.

In Georgia, on January 5, Vice President Mike Pence said Trump voter’s case would be heard on January 6. Also, he witnessed for his faith in Jesus Christ. On January 6, as President Trump rallied voters, Pence announced he would not accept Trump’s directive to reject rogue-states’ Electoral Votes. (If so, the U.S. Supreme Court might adjudicate existing illegal elections.)

Pence placed his view of fidelity to Jesus Christ above his commitment to uphold the U.S. Constitution, which in Article II, Section 3 requires the President: “shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.”

A Mesopotamian political philosophy from the cradle of monotheism 4 thousand years ago suggests, in terms justified by discoveries since then, that the-God (perhaps necessity, or Jesus?) assigns to female&male-humankind responsible-human-independence in the universe. That is, fellow-citizens are charged with providing peace on earth.

Together, the founders, in the 1776 war for independence from England, and the framers in the 1787 Constitution for U.S. civic order, affirm the Genesis 1 separation of church from state. According to the U.S. Constitution, President Trump is the Commander-in-Chief, and We the People of the United States elected Pence to aid Trump’s work to constrain chaos in the U.S.

Pence, in betraying Trump, betrayed both the-God and We the People of the United States. For all we know, the Jesus of “I AM” is the-God, but Pence and others seem to reject that possibility.

To be continued

Continued

Dorsey’s quote can be mimicked for Pence:  I believe denying Trump was the right decision for factional-American-Christians. We faced an extraordinary and untenable circumstance, forcing us to focus all of our actions on our discipleship under Jesus Christ.

Pence and other elected Christians are without excuse. They should know that we non-believing fellow-citizens also read the fallacies in the Bible. Most egregious is St. John’s encouragement for aspiring disciples to hate non-believers; John 15:18-23. Perhaps the Trinity indeed is the God of hate. However, I choose the-God, which I speculate is necessity that is the laws of physics and its progeny, which must be discovered and followed for human success.

We the People of the United States could---should---in 2021 amend the First Amendment so as to protect and encourage development of humble-integrity rather than religion, a precious-private rather than imposed-civil interest. A reliable U.S. Supreme Court would have remedied Congress’s unconstitutional 1791 partnership with religion decades ago. They could take immediate action to separate church from state.

I don’t know. But I think acceptance of the-ineluctable evidence offers reform that can begin today.

I think necessity requires a human being to develop the self-discipline to constrain chaos during one lifetime in order to develop civic-fidelity to self. A person must decide to be a human being.

About 4 thousand years ago, political philosophy initiated a transition from paganism to monotheism. A political philosopher, in Genesis 1:26-28 suggested that female&male, in the-God’s image, were charged with independence in the universe. The philosopher was not aware that the earth is 4.6 billion years old, evolution to placental sex began 2 billion years ago, and dinosaurs died off in a cosmic collision 65 million years ago.

Instead of accepting responsibility for peace on earth, cultures constructed doctrine by which the-God’s metaphysical powers would be influenced in their favor. As a consequence, chaos on earth has exponentially increased in 4 thousand years.

One culture has been proffered, predicated on public discipline in order to encourage responsible-human-independence. The U.S., intentions proffered on September 17, 1787, is a domestic republic that separates church and state. Nothing in the 1787 Constitution lessens the separation of state in humble-integrity that is expressed in the 1776 declaration of war for independence from England.

In 1791, Congress, by codifying an unconstitutional alliance with theism, attempted to arrogate the-God of necessity, the 1776 Declaration, the 1787 Constitution, and We the People of the United States. A corrupt, political U.S. Supreme Court aids the unconstitutional totalitarianism of “freedom of religion” instead of encouragement to integrity.

Only the individual citizens who accept the Genesis 1 charge to constrain chaos during life can reform the U.S. to its intentions: individual happiness through the self-interest of responsible-human-independence. The intentions are expressed in the 1776&1787 documents as religious privacy, integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity “in order to” establish responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity”. The living independent voters are the 2021 “ourselves” and it is on us to reform in order to free “our Posterity”.

To summarize, it seems to me the U.S. regression to chaos in only 234 years provides ineluctable evidence that the-God will not usurp the 4 thousand-year-old suggestion that female&male are charged to establish peace on earth.

It should not require a mutation for human beings to reform to self-interest.

FB add on: Placental sex evolved in 2 billion years. The 4-thousand year-old suggestion that female&male, in the-God’s image, is charged to independently constrain chaos on earth has not taken hold.

The 1787 U.S. Constitution is only 234 years old, and neglect of its affirmation of the 1776 separation of church and state (Genesis 1:26-28), in order to promote necessary female&male responsible-human-independence, delivered chaos in a short timeframe.

Only individuals who are willing to self-interestedly constrain chaos in their personal lives can effect reform. Reform can happen in 2021 rather than wait for a human mutation.

https://www.quora.com/What-makes-some-people-so-easy-to-influence-Is-it-upbringing-education-or-a-compilation-of-things? by Paul Savage

After writing this essay, I’m guessing: without well-developed self-discipline the quest for personal-power enhances gullibility.

I speculate that the driver is the worldwide, inculcation of the quest for higher power. When the majority of people establish the discipline required to be a human being, an achievable better future will unfold. And it will be evident the moment 2/3 of citizens are participating in the reform.

Note, I said participating rather than succeeding. Reforming civilization is difficult, as we observe daily. However, individual participation and intentions precede success. Note also that I said reform, which implies that a process to encourage human discipline was already proffered.

The essential reform is for civilization to inculcate during youth and beyond the conviction that humble-integrity empowers the self-interest to develop personal happiness rather than subjugation to an institutional construct. Let me repeat that: the achievable possibility is individual happiness rather than subjugation.

The core educational reform is a set of acceptances and commitments by the individual. First, the person commits to develop as a human being rather than one of the opposites. Then, they commit in self-interest to acquire the comprehension and intention to live a complete human life---complete in both chronological and psychological maturity. Further, they accept that their person is unique and has the opportunity to approach individual perfection before death. They commit to the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to develop humble-integrity rather than tolerate infidelity to self. By “humble” I mean they accept that fidelity to self is essential to a human being. They accept that some people use HIPEA to develop crime and other civic-dependencies, and therefore, they behave for human equity under statutory justice; when unjust law-enforcement is discovered, statutory law is amended toward justice. They accept the difficulty of developing self-discipline, and in human relations neither initiate nor tolerate harm to or from any person or association, including self and family.  They never lie, in order to lessen human misery and loss as much as possible. They communicate and connect with fellow-citizens to mutually improve these principles as events unfold. A culture of civic-discipline has been proffered.

The framers, in the 1787 U.S. Constitution proffer a system of laws and institutions to be developed by the continuum “ourselves and our Posterity”. Posterity is empowered by provisions to amend the Constitution when error is discovered; we are the twelfth generation after the 1787 “ourselves”. The Constitution proffers public disciplines including no-religious oaths, integrity, justice, peace, strength, prosperity, and responsible-human-independence. The constitution does not specify the standards or process Prosperity will employ to approach statutory justice:  The civic culture is to be discovered in open-mindedness to the unfolding future. Only 2/3 of framers were signers on September 17, 1787.

Nothing in the 1787 U.S. Constitution lessens the humble-integrity the founders expressed when they declared war for independence from England. The 1776 Declaration does not debase the English Trinity with claims that factional-American-Protestantism appeals to the-God; that is, whatever the world’s competitive Gods answer to. For human integrity, the founders relied on “Nature’s God”; for military integrity, “the Supreme Judge of the world”; for civic integrity, “the good People”. In 1778, they negotiated French-military providence.

England surrendered to France and the colonies in 1781 at Yorktown, VA, and in 1784, the 13 states ratified global status as “free and independent states”. In only 3 years, leaders accepted George Washington’s 1783 urge to form a nation under the people (June 8, 1783 letter to states). The 1776 Declaration accepted separation of church from state: colonists, whether loyal British citizens or other national origins, would independently kill red-coated invaders. Inhabitants with religious conviction against killing misappropriated their freedom to the good People, who would become We the People of the United States in 1787.

In 2021, humankind understands that the-God, perhaps of necessity under the mostly unknown laws of physics and its progeny, assigned to the female the responsibility to remain pregnant or not, depending upon her awareness of the child’s expected-future. That is, in the beginning, a woman could devise ways to abort a life certainly doomed to enslavement in some form. In seeking a reliable male, a child-caring female resists intimacy that could lead to pregnancy yet remains in charge if overpowered.

Even without awareness that dinosaurs died off in a cosmic collision 65 million years ago, humankind could sense that constraining chaos on earth is a formidable undertaking. They had no idea that the earth formed 4.6 billion years ago or that sex began evolving 2 billion years ago. However, no other species could “subdue” the earth.

Political philosophers 4 thousand years ago were in the midst of metaphysical reasoning concerning powers that control the unfolding of human civilization. Those who involved Gods in politics discovered and developed monotheism. So far, it seems no culture has identified the-God.

About 4 thousand years ago, from metaphysical reasoning, a philosopher envisioned human-independence of necessity. The metaphysics is expressed in Genesis 1:26-28 (CJB):

Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, in the likeness of ourselves; and let them rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the animals, and over all the earth, and over every crawling creature that crawls on the earth.” So God created humankind in his own image; in the image of God he created him: male and female he created them. God blessed them: God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the air and every living creature that crawls on the earth.

Viewed with a 2021 comprehension of civic humility, this passage may be interpreted:  The-God of necessity assigns to female&male the responsibility to constrain chaos in the universe. Viewed this way, “the-God” can be viewed as “the-good” and accepted when the-good is evident.

About 1600 years later, Plato wrote that Socrates asked, in effect:  Why label the-good the-God? (We ask, why label appreciation “love”? Too often, love is unwanted.)

Skipping the increases in human-chaos constructed by religio-political philosophers since Socrates, in 1776, the founders accepted responsible-human-independence, in humble-integrity to both spiritual and military powers on earth. The founders accepted both emotional and practical motivations and inspirations, with civic integrity, in order to appeal to the oppressed-colonists to make war with their stronger adversary. The founders declared religion private and independence civic. The framers wrote nothing to lessen the founders’ humble-integrity in separation of church and state. The signers proffered the proposition to the people. So far, this seems a wonderful 1787 possibility. How did We the People of the United States reach the chaos we are experiencing in 2021?

So far, the continuum “ourselves and our Posterity” tolerate Congressional tyranny that was unconstitutionally imposed in 1791 in the First Amendment religion clauses. Congress partnered with theism in defiance of Genesis 1, the 1776 Declaration, the 1787 Constitution, and the good People, We the People of the United States who sincerely interpret the proffered preamble’s people’s proposition. The preamble expresses 2 thoughts: presentation of the amendable articles and statement of the U.S. purpose.

My sincere expression of the U.S. intention this morning is:  This civic-citizen practices and promotes the 5 public disciplines---integrity, justice, peace, strength, and prosperity, “in order to” enjoy and encourage responsible-human-intendance “to ourselves and our Posterity”. I do not write “we”, because U.S. citizens are free to reject the civic proposition.

I hear on TV this morning that the President-elect proposes to add $1.9 trillion federal debt to satisfy “ourselves” with future debt to “our Posterity” to be followed by an infrastructure plan. The people must take charge to constrain chaos today or their children will not enjoy freedom.

Throughout U.S. history, the elected and appointed officials who increased U.S. chaos let their belief in church override their commitment to We the People of the United States according to the U.S. Constitution. Here’s a sample if issues. Politicians in a couple of states in 1788 required an English-like Bill of Rights, which requires a Protestant monarchy. Congress repressed the 1787 Constitution as “godless” to restore the factional-American Protestantism by tradition, in “divine” competition with the English Parliament’s constitutional partnership with the (Protestant) Church of England. Hapless R. E. Lee believed an erroneous Christianity in 1856 when he labeled abolitionists “evil”. President G. W. Bush believed erroneous Christian prayers when he invaded Iraq in 2003. Shameless Senator Mitt Romney denied allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, claiming he is a “religious man”. Perplexed Vice-President Mike Pence witnessed for Jesus Christ in opposition to President Donald Trump, the U.S. Commander-in-Chief and the world’s most powerful force to constrain chaos and drain the U.S. swamp (see Genesis 1 again). Voters can discourage the next betrayal of We the People of the United States by an alien, religious official. This essay and especially this paragraph is my opinion: I do not know the-ineluctable-truth.

We, the 2021 ourselves and our posterity can amend the First Amendment so as to promote civic-integrity rather than religious-imposition. We can require local, state, and federal officials to replace ceremonial prayer&pledge with unison reading of the preamble to the U.S. Constitution. We can vote out of office elected officials who demonstrate sincere alienation to the preamble’s proposition. We can restore the motto “E Pluribus Unum” to end the “In God We Trust”, which may disrespect the-God.

It is not too late for the Judeo-Catholic U.S. Supreme Court Justices to admit that they have behaved as politicians. First by not ending legislative prayer in Greece v Galloway (2014) and by not addressing the chaos brought on by rogue states in the 2020 Presidential election. They can delay the inauguration in order to restore order rather than tolerate chaos, expected to worsen. It is not fair to Joe Biden to attempt to tolerate the objections to states changing their vote verifications to defeat Trump.

Paul Savage, thank you for a creative question that inspired this rant. My response is that political power is so attractive that even Justices betray commitment to humble-integrity and to fellow-citizens.

If there are no objections, I will add your name and this date to my appreciations page at premotethepreamble.blogspot.com.

I write to learn and appreciate comments.

FB add on: If the people's chaos expands, responsibility rests with the political U.S. Supreme Court.

https://www.quora.com/How-does-the-truthfulness-and-integrity-of-the-information-affect-communication-between-the-sender-and-the-receiver-s? by Sean Sohr

Because the receiver comprehends words and phrases differently from the sender, the sender must speak lucidly, pleasantly, and sincerely or write clearly, attractively, and sincerely without guessing about the listener’s comprehension. Upon completing the message, sender hopes the receiver will ask questions in order to clarify the message and adjust it to receiver’s comprehension. The collaborative receiver may then offer an improvement on the message. Then, sender must become receiver, in order to clarify the improvement. The cycle may be repeated. And so it goes when there is collaboration to connect for an achievable better future.

It does not take long for sincere senders and receivers to connect, and they usually leave the dialogue with increased humility and integrity: each personal integrity more closely approaches humble-integrity. Also, they may leave the conversation with a plan to effect change in civic integrity.

Political philosopher Albert Einstein, attempting to speak the audience’s language, expressed some nonsense. For example (see Einstein’s essay in https://samharris.org/my-friend-einstein/), he wrote  It is the privilege of man’s moral genius, impersonated by inspired individuals, to advance ethical axioms which are so comprehensive and so well founded that men will accept them as grounded in the vast mass of their individual emotional experiences. Ethical axioms are found and tested not very differently from the axioms of science. Truth is what stands the test of experience.”

This is problematic, because in this otherwise wonderful paragraph, Einstein confuses ineluctable evidence with “emotional experiences”, which Google informs us today means anger, fear, happiness, sadness, and disgust.

Einstein’s ethics confuses me, because in the preceding paragraph he wrote, “For pure logic all axioms are arbitrary, including the axioms of ethics. But they are by no means arbitrary from a psychological and genetic point of view. They are derived from our inborn tendencies to avoid pain and annihilation, and from the accumulated emotional reaction of individuals to the behavior of their neighbors.”

Herein, Einstein seems to be blending ineluctable evidence with uninvited interest in neighbors.

In an earlier paragraph he wrote, “However, ethical directives can be made rational and coherent by logical thinking and empirical knowledge [ineluctable evidence, in my view]. If we can agree on some fundamental ethical propositions, then other theoretical propositions can be derived from them, provided that the original premises are stated with sufficient precision. Such ethical premises play a similar role in ethics, to that played by axioms in mathematics.”

Herein, in my view, Einstein asserts that accepting the ineluctable evidence provides a journal of discovery that can be an ethical resource.

Still earlier, Einstein wrote, “There is something like a Puritan’s restraint in the scientist who seeks truth: he keeps away from everything voluntaristic or emotional. Incidentally, this trait is the result of a slow development, peculiar to modern Western thought.”

With this paragraph, we have traced Einstein’s statements back to seeming contradiction: While the researcher who seeks truth avoids the emotional, the public accepts the research product “based on emotional experiences”. Is this Einstein’s claim that the public is not capable of integrity? If so, I strongly disagree. I see no excuse for Einstein to conflate Puritan conviction with research integrity.

Einstein’s most famous nonsense was intended for a science v religion audience: “Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind”. Science is a study practice to discover the unknown, and religion is metaphysical reasoning to speculate about the unknown. I speculate that in Einstein’s personal words and phrases he meant: Research without integrity is ruinous; integrity without research is ineffectual. Of course I don’t know. Yet on my view of his thoughts I consider Einstein an exceptional political philosopher.

I express my opinion for my use, neither to convince anyone nor to argue with Einstein.

However, I hope my response illustrates how difficult it is for two human beings to communicate and connect in order to mutually improve individual happiness to each party rather than submit to someone else’s visions for them.

FB add on:  The sender’s best chance to communicate is to develop words and phrases that express the integrity of the-ineluctable-truth rather than guess the receiver’s definitions. The message will be received if the receiver does the work to comprehend the sender’s word-usage. If so, the receiver may then improve the sender’s expressions, IF the sender becomes receiver.

https://www.quora.com/Is-it-wrong-to-value-friends-more-than-family? by Sean Sohr

In general, it depends on circumstances. However, the human being yearns to develop family for life, if possible. In closest appreciation, a child has two parents and four grandparents complete with their four relative families and the parents’ siblings. It seems good for family monogamy for life to be continuous.

I am a geek who married a beautiful woman I met 53 years ago. I drove an old friend away and saw 3 work-colleagues get fresh with her---two kissing her and one touching her breast. I did not know it when I courted her, but enduring attraction is her serene confidence. When I asked her about the incidents, she answered strait away, for example, “He kissed me, but got no satisfaction: I did not kiss him back.” At a great night out, I asked her why she was looking over my left shoulder. She answered, “You ought to see the fine Italian sitting over there.” I objected, and she responded, “What’s your problem: you eye the women at church every Sunday.” I developed a discipline I still need. Now, in our fifty-first year of marriage, I could not be happier (except perhaps if I was not lame where I used to play).

Also, I had female friends, and anytime conversation became personal bordering on intimacy, I backed away without objecting. I did many things to protect commitment-to-myself to monogamy for life with her and our children.

If her response to those incidents had been anything other than, for example, an impactful scene when that guy touched her breast, our marriage would have ended, much as I adore her. Likewise, there were internal-incidents wherein forgiveness was required and thankfully reached. However, if adultery had entered the picture, an end would be accepted. I would not have been the end of life.

When a friend in a small group I had associated with for 35 years (only death would part us) offended me over my wife, I dropped out of the group. They were shocked, and I think a few understood it.

In Anton Chekhov’s “Rothschild’s Fiddle,” Yakov spends 45 years with friends, ignoring his wife Marta. Reading that story helped me comfort my wife in a circumstance wherein my behavior before reading the story burdened her.

In William Faulkner’s “Barn Burning,” a ten-year old boy decides to leave his family upon experiencing justice for the first time in his life. He was correct in his decision.

Genesis 1:26-28 suggests, in my view, that female&male-humans, made in the-God’s image, is charged to constrain chaos during life. Such fidelity is grounded in mutual appreciation, and that’s what humankind needs more than love.

It is difficult to imagine a friend closer than my wife or one of our children.

FB add on: I cannot imagine a friend closer than immediate family, my best critics.

https://www.quora.com/unanswered/What-is-a-social-contract-and-how-is-it-reflected-in-the-people-power? by Jinky Maglasang

Here’s a social contract. A Greek political philosopher suggested that a civic citizen behaves for equity under statutory justice. It’s a social contract that admits that citizens earn according to their civic contributions with dissidents constrained by law-enforcement in justice rather than arbitrary rules.

A similar social contract is abstractly expressed in the combination of the 1776 Declaration of Impendence (from England) and the 1787 U.S. Constitution (for domestic discipline). The founders, in the Declaration, separated church from state by citing Nature’s God (necessity) and the Supreme Judge of the world (military strength) rather than competing with England over the Christian Trinity (Protestant in England and sectarian in America). The framers, in the Constitution, did not lessen the humble-integrity the founders had expressed. They specified a federal republic with both the states and the nation reporting to “the good People”, quoting the Declaration, or “We the People of the United States”, quoting the Constitution. Both of these documents and the people who accept the social contract comport to the suggestion in Genesis 1:26-28 that, in my view, female&male humankind is charged to constrain chaos during life, independent of death. In other words, fidelity for life is a human function.

However, Congress, in 1791 usurped Genesis 1, the Declaration, the Constitution, and We the People of the United States. Congress imposed a theism-Congress partnership on par with England’s Canterbury-Parliament partnership. For 230 years, Congress has assumed that the people would always wait for their personal God to relieve “ourselves and our Posterity” from the misery and losses caused by Congress-religion and the complicit U.S. Supreme Court, themselves politicians rather than developers of humble-integrity.

The most recent, egregious failure to separate church from state seems to be V.P. Mike Prince deciding to rebuke the temporal Commander-in-Chief by favoring Pence’s interpretation of his relationship with Jesus Christ. For all I know, Jesus, who writers claim existed before Abraham (I AM), was the source of the Genesis 1:26-28 command for responsible-human-independence to dominion over life and to subdue the earth. It seems President Trump intended to involve the Supreme Court in accepting/denying rogue states’ election-processes and Pence ruined the people’s opportunity for resolution.

In the case of the 1787 social contract proffered in the U.S. Constitution, only when We the People of the Untied States choose to accept responsibility for peace in the USA, will the U.S. be established as intended 233 years ago in conformity to a suggestion 4 thousand years ago: separate church and state. Before 2021 ends, We the People of the United States need to effect the amendment of the First Amendment in order to promote U.S. humble-integrity rather than globally-competitive religion.

In the U.S., “ourselves and our Posterity” has neglected the social contract proffered in the U.S. preamble for 233 years. Hopefully, the abyss in chaos has been reached and reform will come in 2021.

FB add on:  Before 2021 ends, amend the First Amendment so as to encourage U.S. humble-integrity rather than support globally-competitive religion.

https://www.quora.com/unanswered/What-consequences-will-you-face-for-not-listening-to-your-conscience? by Hima Ghiri

As the ethics which past influencers impose on the individual’s recall, much of which was erroneous or temporal, conscience is not a good guide for ordering daily choices. Developing responsible self-reliance is the better option.

Was the person reared to be a human being or one of the opposites? For example animal or plant. The person who is reared by covert, successful criminals is likely to think crime pays.

A thoroughbred foal stands in about an hour, finds food in about 3 hours, and may become a candidate for the Triple Crown at age 3. The human being is exponentially more complicated. They must be fed for 3 years or beyond, don’t walk until age 1, and don’t complete the wisdom-building parts of the brain until a quarter century has passed.

If in the meantime, they are coached and encouraged to take charge to accumulate basic comprehension to-start and the intention to-complete a human lifetime. After more than 1 quarter century of service to fellow-man, and a couple decades to reflect, they have a chance to achieve the triple crown of unique personhood: external independence by completing obligations, internal independence by resolving negative restraints, and potential perfection of their unique person before body and mind stop functioning.

If, during the first decade, their caretakers believed in dependence on fellow citizens, their chances of becoming independent may be lessened. For example, some welfare-smarts, criminals, tyrants, and worse don’t admit that their living depends on civic-citizens. They may never accept the self-interest of responsible-human-independence.

In this dilemma, a person must decide to be a human being. If so, they may discover that humans have the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual-integrity (HIPEA) to develop humble-integrity rather than tolerate infidelity to self. If they choose integrity, they rely only on the-ineluctable-evidence to discern the-objective-truth on which to act. They do not allow erroneous standards imposed by others to break their fidelity to self. They have no conscience, because they accept and practice responsible-human-independence.

I think it is important to confront the conscience as an imposed ethics databank complete with error to be avoided. The person needs a journal of discovered humble-integrity based on the-ineluctable-truth. The resulting ethics, founded in necessity, motivates the self-discipline needed to constrain conscience.

As an example of the woe conscience can impose, protestors at the Capital in Washington on January 6, 2021 were conscientious objectors to an obviously illegal Presidential election on November 3, 2020. They had witnessed the perpetrators of a national disgrace support protestors in the Summer of 2020. They committed $3 billion in property damage, injured people and murdered people, and ruined many lives, with no consequential law enforcement.

When violence broke out in Washington, some conscientiously joined the mayhem and thereby joined the list of arrestees. Their lives will be harder going forward. Others, in self-interest, left or avoided the scene.

Conscience can deceive.

FB add on:  Humble-integrity is more reliable than conscience to guide responsible-human-independence.

The good-citizen neither initiates nor tolerates harm to or from any person, including self and family. Also, they behave for equity under statutory justice, accepting that not all citizens choose the good. They allow fellow-citizens to express themselves and oppose expected harm. They report to first-responders observed harm. If attacked, they defend self, family, and property.

People who judge others without ineluctable expression by the other initiate harm.

To Alex Watson:

I appreciate your comments, Mr. Watson.

Let’s unpack some fallacies. First, the-God is no substitute for “God”. Without sufficient humility toward the-God, a human being may be inviting woe for worshipping the wrong choice. Second, my focus on the expansion of religious chaos during the last 4 thousand years addresses prevention of peace on earth rather than initiates sectarian squabbling. Third, humble-integrity is not idle talk: it is the standard by which a human being may measure personal integrity.

Let me add that for 2 decades I have urged fellow citizens to amend the First Amendment to promote integrity, a civic duty, rather than institutional religion, a business enterprise. Even before discovery of the principles I glean from Genesis 1, I stated it as the need to encourage humble-integrity, from which civic integrity emerges.

Speaking of sects, I fully anticipate that a Protestant, a Catholic, a Jew, a Muslim, an Ethiopian with any of those beliefs, and I can civically appreciate the-God yet could not attempt to discuss God, each having a different definition in mind and heart.

Mr. Gomes, I appreciate that you motivated me to consult the dictionary about the word “fair”.

At Merriam-Webster online I found the best usage: “marked by impartiality and honesty: free from self-interest, prejudice, or favoritism”. From there, it’s steadily downhill in humble-integrity, as I see it.

What fellow-citizens need and many work for is equity under statutory justice. Thereby, fellow-citizens accept that every human-being can develop humble-integrity rather than tolerate infidelity to self.

Persons who cannot become independent on their own are helped by fellow citizens; that’s why most adults who see a child in need lends help. Human-beings are unique, so one does not judge another. But many fellow-citizens choose dependency, through handouts, crime, tyranny, and worse.

The citizens who work for equity and justice do so out of self-interest to all living citizens. They favor responsible-human-independence rather than dependency. And they appreciate every fellow-citizen as capable of humble-integrity rather than honesty, which may be erroneous. They encourage errant fellow-citizens to reform or face constraint. They provide impartiality when statutory justice must mediate harm an offender actually caused. They pay the expenses of statutory justice.

After considering your question, it is clearer to me than ever before that John Rawls’ “Justice as Fairness” is flawed.

Rawls’ promotion of “fairness” and intentional ignorance is increasing chaos on earth.

FB add on: John Rawls’ “Justice as Fairness” discourages responsible-human-independence.

Ralph Waldo Emersion (RWE) wrote, in “Divinity School Address” (1838) “One is constrained to respect the perfection of this world . . . It is well worth the pith and heart of great men to subdue and enjoy it.” The reader is invited to enjoy the poetry in prose in the 15-minute read; https://www.learner.org/wp-content/interactive/amerpass/archive/9000s/9049.pdf.

I re-read Divinity many times in the last two decades and was aware that Emerson was influenced by Genesis 1. Only recently did I imagine the depth and richness of Genesis 1:26-28, taking into account what human kind has discovered in the last 4 thousand years. For example, the political philosopher responsible for Genesis 1 was not privy to the recent discovery that dinosaurs roamed the earth about 65 million years ago and humans evolved during 3 million years from hominids emerging 7 million years ago. Like many philosophers of the time, a Mesopotamian suggested that the-God (of necessity ?) assigned to male&female-humans responsibility to constrain chaos on earth. RWE encouraged “great [humans] to subdue and enjoy it”.

Alas, during the past 4 thousand years as humankind accepts its technical discoveries, civilizations insist on psychology that struggles to persuade the-God to favor them in competition with other humans. Rather than encouraging youth to develop responsible-human-independence, these civilizations inculcate a life-long yearning to find a reliable higher power to provide safety and security on earth. The person who chooses to be a human-being has the individual power, the individual energy, and the individual authority (HIPEA) to develop humble-integrity rather than to tolerate infidelity to self.

The United States is predicated on the pursuit of statutory justice. That is, when the U.S. Constitution lacks justice, intention is to amend law-enforcement toward justice. It seems obvious that conformity to the-God, whatever-it-is, is a necessity. However, the United States, by English precedent, operates a Judeo-Christian-Congressional-Court partnership so as to compete with Canterbury-Parliament-egocentric-divinity. To feign “freedom of religion”, elite politicians take for granted alienation of We the People of the United States to defend any government official’s religious beliefs.

The latest evidence seems the most egregious tyranny in U.S. history, because in 2020, the evidence of the principles expressed above seems ineluctable. The key evidence is that humankind is responsible for peace on earth. The egregious evidence is not Mitt Romney’s claim to an impeachment vote because he is a religious man. It is not William Barr’s arrogance toward his Commander-in-Chief. It is not the USA’s allegiance to “God” in infidelity to “the-God”.

It’s Mike Pence in Georgia on January 5, 2020 witnessing for Jesus Christ; then on January 6, 2021 egocentrically rebuking the Commander-in-Chief of the United States.

It was well publicized that President Trump had asked Pence to reject electoral votes from states that did not follow their election laws for the November 3, 2020 election. Obviously, that action would challenge the Constitution. The Supreme Court would have no choice but to adjudicate before January 20, 2021.

On January 6, people who had been called to Washington to rally for Trump heard Trump’s encouragement for peaceful expression. However, many of them were aware of and frustrated by Pence’s decision. They did not articulate angst over the allegiance to factional-Christian beliefs rather than the responsible-human-independence called for in Judeo-Christian scripture, but nonetheless cited Pence’s culpability.

This egregious tyranny has plagued the United States ever since Congress codified its adolescence by creating a Congress-religion partnership in the 1791 First Amendment. These 230 years later, it’s standard for politicians and judges to attribute to their God the responsibility for their duplicity.

My greatest fear is that We the People of the United States will never accept the evidence of U.S. hypocrisy and demand amendment of the Constitution so as to encourage humble-integrity (responsible-human-independence suggested in Genesis 1 and by RWE) rather than religion, a human want, turned by managers into business enterprises.

FB add on:  V.P. Mike Pence predictably erred on January 6, rebuking the U.S. Commander-in-Chief in order to expresses his view of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ (Jan 5 in Georgia).

Genesis 1:26-28 charges male&female humans to independently constrain chaos on earth.

I's not new. Congress denied Genesis 1 when it partnered with religion in 1791. R. E. Lee egregiously relied on Christianity when he rejected President Lincoln’s appeals: https://www.encyclopediavirginia.org/Letter_from_Robert_E_Lee_to_Mary_Randolph_Custis_Lee_December_27_1856. William Barr slighted We the People of the United States as his Christianity cannot be bullied.

Religion is alright as a private pursuit, but not as a civic, civil, or legal imposition.

(I express opinion because I do not know the-ineluctable-truth.)

https://www.quora.com/Should-you-ever-have-to-ask-for-an-apology-Does-asking-for-an-apology-itself-mean-that-you-dont-respect-yourself-as-much-as-you-should-since-you-are-entitled-to-an-apology? by Viktor Bondarchuk then Aiziz Baqir at https://www.quora.com/q/thebeautywithin

It depends on whether or not harm was actually done and done by the objective person.

An ineluctably good person neither initiates harm to or from anyone, including self and family.

Apology-expectation assumes that the other party is the offender and knows that is so. When an apology seems needed, it seems prudent to confirm both that actual harm was done and to give the suspected offender the opportunity to identify and accept guilt.

Of course, that does not hold if the other party is a criminal and you have ineluctable proof of both harm and guilt.

I shared opinion since I don’t know the-ineluctable-truth.

https://www.quora.com/What-defines-a-good-person-in-todays-world? by Jonny Langwa

Not knowing the-ineluctable-truth, I express opinion.

The good person accepts that they are a human being rather than one of the opposites. They accept their human individual power, individual energy, and individual authority (HIPEA) to develop humble-integrity rather than to tolerate infidelity. They accept that some persons develop HIPEA for crime and other dependencies and therefore behave for equity under statutory justice. They appreciate the-God, whether it be physics, chaos, or an intelligent controller of the-ineluctable-events. They encourage fellow-human beings to constrain chaos in the universe.

A good person practices the-good as responsible-human-independence, accepting that the-God, whatever-it-is, takes care of its own domain.

FB add on: Accepting responsibility for chaos control in a life.

https://www.quora.com/Why-do-some-people-give-their-opinions-like-it-s-universal-truth? by Michael Okeke

I think self-interest informs an alternate question:  Why would anyone take someone’s universal truth as the-ineluctable-truth? The individual is responsible to constrain chaos in their life.

For example, I worshipped with my wife and three children in Catholic churches for 15 years, never taking the Eucharist. Born Baptist, I did not feel any human being should interfere with another’s pursuit of the-God, whatever-it-is. Baptists, as I perceive the belief, participate in “The Lord’s Supper” in Remembrance of Jesus’ death-on-the-cross to redeem believers of sin.

The doctrines of Christianity were worked out by competing groups during the 400 years after Jesus was born to a Jewish male&female. Ralph Waldo Emerson suggests, in “Divinity School Address” (1838) that Jesus message, each human can perfect their unique person, is repressed by religions debating Jesus’ divinity, even embodiment of God. I like Emerson’s suggestion, yet am prepared for what I doubt: Christian judgement when my body, mind, and person stop functioning; that is, in my afterdeath.

My articulations were not as mature 2 decades ago when I asked a priest to allow me to unite with my family as they practiced Transubstantiation while I exercised Remembrance; in other words, to attend communion when they did. The priest responded that he loved the Church too much to allow me to follow a different doctrine therein. We met no more, and I begrudged neither his opinion about his job nor my opinion that he erred. At his wake, someone noted his humility, and I responded, “Or pride, if so.” Since then, I discovered the Genesis 1:26-28 charge to male&female to constrain chaos.

The-ineluctable-evidence brooks neither a priest’s universal truth nor a believer’s faith in a personal God. The-God, whether it be physics, chaos, or an intelligent entity, commands the-ineluctable-truth.

FB add on:  The outcome in the U.S. January 6, 2021 events might have been better if churches encouraged fellow-citizens to individually constrain chaos in their lives rather than to pray for the-God to reverse the responsible-human-independence suggested in Genesis 1:  V.P. Mike Pence might have announced he would follow the temporal Commander-in-chief's directive.

https://www.quora.com/Does-anybody-teach-you-that-being-good-is-wrong? by Jack Chen

Hypocrisy has been rampant in the world and in the USA for the duration of the human species. It need not be that way. There can be widespread responsible-human-independence.

The human species evolved beginning some 3 million years ago from humanoids, emerging from placental mammals beginning some 7 million years ago. In 2021, the newborn of the species develops the comprehension and intention to either choose to develop a human being or nurture an opposite; for example, animal or plant. That is, to tolerate nourishment of banal appetites or to be dependent on humankind for individual existence. Responsible-human-independence must be discovered, because encouragement to self-discipline is ignored by worshipping the-God as surrogate for the-good.

The widespread inculcation of hypocrisy stems from neglect of the suggestion in Genesis 1:26–28. Taking into account 4-thousand-years’ discoveries based on the-ineluctable-truth, male&female may choose to thrive, take dominion over all life forms, and subdue the universe.

A few discoveries that occurred since then are: 1) dinosaurs died out about 65 million years ago and that awareness might have changed the philosopher’s claims, 2) an event 13.8 billion years ago initiated physics and it progeny including biology and psychology, 3) no one knows either a) what existed before then or b) how the laws of physics came into existence, and 4) after physics, it seems there is no authority higher than the male&female humans who constrain chaos during life.

It seems the political philosophy reported in Genesis 1 came from Mesopotamia, from which Abraham escaped. Perhaps he saved his family from human sacrifice to bargain with the-God. His people substituted animal sacrifice. This seems improved monotheism, yet inconsistent with conservative dominion over lesser species. And, since human sacrifice was not terminated, the escape increased religious chaos within monotheism.

Abraham’s failure to appreciate the-male&female entity led to infidelity and two major religions: 1) monotheism with expectation of a savior for the chosen, Israel, and 2) the other, which eventually became Islam in its diverse factions. When Jesus spoke cryptic philosophy, a Jewish-faction took him to be the expected savior and political writing over the next 400 years led to several Bible canonizations: Catholic, Eastern, Eastern Asia, and others. Objections in 1517 led to Protestantism, quickly fractioning into sects. In summary, human psychology after Genesis 1, focusing on the-God rather than responsible-human independence, developed infidelity to the human necessity to constrain chaos during a lifetime---to intend and develop self-discipline.

I think the necessity to discipline self so as to constrain chaos during one opportunity to live is evident to a human being. A person must nourish infidelity to self in order to invite chaos during life, perhaps leading to early death. In other words, the thought in Genesis 1:26–28---humankind is in charge of peace, was never particularly astute. At least, after the year 2020, fellow-citizens’ need to constrain chaos seems undeniable. Every day, on TV, panelists express, “Somebody must do something.” Pity. Especially pity the protectors of “freedom of religion” instead of encouraging humble-integrity in self-interest.

It seems egregious that most humans, male&female, choose infidelity to self and pray to a personal God for relief from the losses and misery, defying Genesis 1. Thus, some religious beliefs, such as Christianity, teach people “that being good is wrong”.

FB add on: Theism teaches that constraining chaos during a lifetime rather than depending on the-God is wrong.

I'm glad to see the U.S. enforcing the rule of law, no matter what the cause. However, I cannot condone the special attention Congress takes.

We the People of the United States must start impressing elected and appointed officials that systematic deceit " . . under God" will no longer work.

Most fellow-citizens are humble to the-God, whatever that is (perhaps necessity by its simple label). However, no two of us agree what God requires of us; we each have a personal God or philosophy.

A middle-eastern philosopher 4 thousand years ago suggested that male&female humankind is charged to constrain chaos during their lives (Genesis 1:26-28). Since then, civilizations have conflicted over the-God, neglecting the disciplines required for fidelity to peace on earth. It starts with male&female appreciation for life.

We've learned a lot in 4 thousand years, and I suggest that the proper expression, based on the origins of human life, is female&male fidelity to family.

Congress persons and Justices are first fellow-citizens. If they consider themselves elites, they must go.
