Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on the-objective-truth, which can only be discovered. The comment box below invites readers to write.
"Civic"
refers to citizens who collaborate for individual
happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or
society.
Consider writing a personal
paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual appreciation: For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and
paraphrase it for my interpretation of its proposal as follows We the People of the United States proffer &
practice 5 public disciplines —- integrity, justice, peace, strength, and
prosperity, “in order to” encourage & facilitate
responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity”. I want to improve my interpretation by listening to
other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787,
text, unless it is amended by the people.
It seems the
Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one has challenged whether or
not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this
independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states
deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble
is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who
collaborate for human justice.
Every citizen
has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in
the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try
somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the
goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies
grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to
discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.
Selected theme from this week
A civic-people can& may independently provide peace on
earth
This was my personal best-Easter.
Nearing my 80th
year, I think and assert that human-being can benefit far more from the
practical Jesus than from either the metaphysical Jesus, the Messiah, the
Son-of-God, God, or the-God. What I assert could be wrong and by all means must
yield to what Jesus thinks about Jesus.
That said, the best I can do in self-interest is transparently
discuss ideas attributed to Jesus and add civic-citizens experiences&
observations to mine. By civic-citizens I mean those who practice, facilitate,
and encourage public safety& security, in order to promote responsible
pursuit of happiness as the individual perceives it rather than to accept someone
else’s dictates. I read, write, speak, and LISTEN, always declaring that I do
not know the-ineluctable-truth. “Ineluctable” means ‘not to be avoided,
changed, or resisted”.
For example, Jesus read Genesis
1& 2 and said in Matthew 19, “at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female’. [Therefore]
a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two
will become one flesh”. That’s united “to” rather than “with”. Civic-citizens
can practice, facilitate, and encourage this Jesus-suggestion and lessen
divorce rates.
People who accept the mystery of
soul and have faith that Jesus is their savior need not doubt any
fellow-citizens faith, including the atheists’ faith. That is, believers don't have a monopoly on faith. Believers can accept
salvation for their afterdeath and also appreciate Jesus’s suggestions for
living. People who believe their soul will enjoy heaven can also share Jesus’s message:
each person can& may offer peace on earth.
To explore these ideas further, consider the factual reality. Homo sapiens emerged about 300,000 years ago. Polytheism came into question about 10,000 years ago. The Sumer culture produced codes of law predicated on human-being taking responsibility for peace on earth. Monotheisms started competing about 4,000 years ago. The Hebrew God appeared about 3,000 years ago. Christianity started competing about 2,000 years ago.
Western culture, during the past 2000 years, has debated books, up to 87 of them, that do not considered discoveries outside the 1000 years. That is, discoveries before 3,000 years ago and after 2,000 years ago. Civic-citizens can& may benefit from more factual reality about the-ineluctable-truth.
Civic-citizens can& may practice, facilitate, and encourage peace on earth.

Irreversibly enslaving
children (Wesley J. Smith) (theepochtimes.com/biden-administrations-policies-push-puberty-blocking-transition-surgeries-for-transgender-children_4390533.html)
Smith factually informs readers.
I speculate that the transgender movement against children
is only a detail in social democracy's strategy -- a part of the attempt to
overthrow responsible-human-independence. Yet gender-change is more sinister
than building national debt. An individual's commitment to gender-change is
irreversible, voluntary-enslavement to the gender-change industrial complex. A
new administration can reverse the policy but cannot undo gender-damage.

Mr. S, I express gratitude for your brilliance, again, in
“appreciations” at promotethepreamble.blogspot.com, today.
You ask: how does
a human-being leverage their self? You reduce leverage to physical viability.
You identify success as authenticity. And you eliminate standards by appreciating
the unique, weird individual.
Of course, I can
only respond based on experience& observations, limited as mine are. For
example, I cannot imagine Donald Trump’s view of personal authenticity.
I have 3
suggestions.
First, throughout life, comprehend representative experiences you’d
like to either avoid or own. For example, one can& may attempt to fly like
a bird or can& may choose the opposite gender. On the other hand, most
people can& may learn to ride a skateboard.
Second, develop& nourish awareness
of authentic persons from the past. For example, Albert Einstein said a prudent
person does not lie, in order to lessen human misery& loss. Socrates died
to defend the rule of law, even when the jury delivers injustice. Ralph Waldo
Emerson appreciated civic-citizens – past, present, and future. Abraham Lincoln
spoke for political effect, for example, erroneously asserting that governance
of, for, and by the-people existed. Jesus suggested that one can perfect their
person before death. A Sumerian philosopher suggested that female& male-human-being
have the authority& duty to provide peace on earth.
Third, self-reliantly practice,
facilitate, and encourage the civic integrity that is required to establish&
nourish responsible-human-independence during every moment. By “civic
integrity” I mean fidelity to every human connection or transaction.
I read and write to learn and appreciate
comments.

Chris, as always, your
transparency invites compliment. This is perhaps my best Easter, but I hope for
even better.
Some people know that I think
opinion about the Holy Bible constrains the practical Jesus we humans share
when we express our heartfelt concerns& fears with open minds and open
hearts. The Bible presents a Hebrew Jesus (from Abraham's house of David) that
ignores the Sumerian suggestion expressed in Genesis 1:28: the-God retains
control of the unknowns and will not usurp female& male human-being's
independent responsibility to order& provide prosperity to the lesser
species and to the earth.
I think this was Jesus's message,
if he said "Before Abraham was born I am." Also, "be
perfect". Also, "peace be with you". Also, aid the U.S.
commander-in-chief ("render unto Caesar"). Also, doesn't your
doctrine teach you are gods (facing death)?
The most subtle silencing of
Jesus comes from the Trinity construct. Why impose Father and Holy Spirit to
compete with the powerful aid Jesus offers?
