Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on the-objective-truth, which can only be discovered. The comment box below invites readers to write.
"Civic"
refers to citizens who collaborate for individual
happiness with civic integrity more than for the city, state, nation, or
society.
Consider writing a personal
paraphrase of the preamble, which offers fellow citizens mutual appreciation: For discussion, I convert the preamble’s predicate phrases to nouns and
paraphrase it for my interpretation of its proposal as follows We the People of the United States proffer &
practice 5 public disciplines —- integrity, justice, peace, strength, and
prosperity, “in order to” encourage & facilitate
responsible-human-independence “to ourselves and our Posterity”. I want to improve my interpretation by listening to
other citizens and their interpretations yet would preserve the original, 1787,
text, unless it is amended by the people.
It seems the
Supreme Court occasionally refers to it, and no one has challenged whether or
not the preamble is a legal statement. The fact that it changed this
independent country from a confederation of states to a union of states
deliberately managed by disciplined fellow citizens convinces me the preamble
is legal. Equity in opportunity and outcome is shared by the people who
collaborate for human justice.
Every citizen
has equal opportunity to either trust-in and collaborate-on the goals stated in
the preamble or be dissident to the agreement. I think 2/3 of citizens try
somewhat to use the preamble but many do not articulate commitment to the
goals. However, it seems less than 2/3 understand that “posterity” implies
grandchildren. “Freedom of religion,” which fellow citizens have no means to
discipline, oppresses freedom to develop integrity.
Selected theme from this week
A dream is worth transparently enduring
The 1787 U.S. intention is a culture that practices, facilitates,
and encourages the civic integrity that is required for the individual citizen
to responsibly pursue the happiness they perceive during each phase of their
lifetime.
Today, at a local park, I conversed with 3 skate-boarding
and trick-biking boys, aged 15, 14, and 11, respectively, as they sat down with
Drew and me. The 3 affirmed that self-reliance and affiliation with Jesus
empower human being. They agreed that transparent discussion of practical observations
about Jesus help everyone discover the-good. I must have heard “opinion” a
dozen times in 30 minutes.
When I said, it matters not if the individual attests to
Jesus as God, the son of God, or a man, they agreed. When I asked why they were
so outspoken, one said his mom taught him not to be shy that Jesus saved his
soul. When I asked who can inform us as to the-ineluctable-truth about Jesus’
status, they were stumped – made a lot of noise but drew no conclusion.
I answered my riddle with “Jesus knows himself” and can tell
us. They bumped my knuckles.
I think the acceleration to my dream is in the 2022 youth. I’m
aware they may have been patronizing my self-reliance yet affiliation with the
practical Jesus that transparent people share. I look forward to such
conversation with adults.
I asked the youth if they had heard of Socrates. To my disappointment, they
said, “No”. I told them that when each new word comes to them, to look it up on
the Internet and assume it’s their one and only time to earn an opinion about
it – take charge of accumulating their knowledge& opinion. I said, “I think
Socrates died to defend the rule of law.”
I dream of establishing the 1787 U.S. intentions in the USA:
responsible-human-independence (RHI).

The Will Smith slap offers journalism another chance to
record a “more erroneous religious belief” so that henceforth the human-being
who wants civic-integrity has a benchmark: the authentic man does not
perpetrate violence to express attraction to an authentic woman.

Theodore Dalrymple
(theepochtimes.com/questioning-potential-jurors-undermines-the-very-basis-of-the-jury-system_4329768.html)
Dalrymple’s equivocation of “impartial” with “dispassionate”
reads like an English attack on America. A child-sex-trafficking trial might by
traumatic rather than dispassionate. And
the English think “ineluctable” means unavoidable and irresistible: the
Americans add unchangeable. The Brits just don’t get the accuracy, precision,
and depth of the-ineluctable-truth. Americans get it.
Ghislaine Maxwell has citizenship in France (her homeland),
England, and America. Maxwell is a convicted child-sex-trafficker. Anthony
Malcolm Daniels, pen named Theodore Dalrymple is of communist&
Jewish parenthood from England and claims atheism (whatever that means to him).
Neither Maxwell nor Dalrymple understand the civic-integrity, appreciating
theism/none, that is intended by the 1787 U.S. Constitution.
By early adulthood, the individual human-being joins by
choice/default one of 2 collectives: individuals who practice, facilitate, and
encourage self-interested civic-integrity or selfishly dependent
fellow-citizens. Dependencies include sloth, crime, tyranny, evil, and worse.
Verbal cunning is tyranny.
The civic-citizen neither initiates nor accommodates harm
to-or-from any person and is unlikely to appear in court as the accused. They
vote for the candidate who most closely practices, facilitates, and encourages
responsible-human-independence (RHI). They may be religious/not and may attend
a church for transparent civic-integrity among fellow citizens.
I’m surprised that Dalrymple did not share at least 4
controversies regarding unanimous verdicts. First, in England, the judge in criminal
trial can call for a majority verdict, 10:2. See defence-barrister.co.uk/crown-court-trial-part-6-verdict#Majority-Verdicts.
Second, the statistics of democratic bias favor non-unanimous determinations.
Third, judicial institutions, which ought to be more reliable than the
politically divided public do not demand unanimous-decisions. Fourth, due to
tyranny by England over colonial Americans, the U.S. Sixth Amendment (1791)
requires states to provide impartial juries according to state statutes.
According to the prior 3 considerations, a state cannot use 12:0 verdicts to
provide impartiality.
In 1967, England introduced majority decisions in criminal
trials, in order to lessen the influence of organized crime. Current operating
details are Online at defence-barrister.co.uk/crown-court-trial-part-6-verdict#Majority-Verdicts.
In the United Kingdom, representation is dominated by Conservatives,
Labor, and Liberal Democrats (since 1998) with smaller parties representing locations
such as Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. Conservatives seek to maintain
tradition more than civic-integrity and the other 2 dominant parties favor
social democracy. If bias is split 50:50, statistics teach that 12-juror service-to
necessity& justice declines as bias-accommodation
declines from 5 to 0. In the U.S., a hung jury is essentially acquittal.
Supreme Court justices ought to qualify as “the average
citizen” yet they are not held to unanimous decisions. In England, Supreme
Court cases are heard by panels of 3, increasing to 11, depending on importance
of the case. The odd number is to allow for split decisions, 2:1 up to 6:5. In
the U.S., the erroneous U.S. Supreme Court chose to consider and voted 6:3 to
require Louisiana to provide 12:0 criminal jury verdicts; (Ramos v. Louisiana,
2021)! Imagine that: a split decision to require unanimous decisions. And, they cited 14th century British law to justify their U.S. tyranny.
I think Theodore Dalrymple either opposes or does not
understand the 1787 U.S. republic’s intentions: civic-integrity, which requires
impartial systems that practice, facilitate, and encourage civic-integrity
rather than either English tradition or socialism. The U.S. bemusement with
Anglo-American tradition represses “ourselves and our Posterity” and only
civic-citizens can stop the tyranny. America’s aliens are in its institutions
and can& may be identified and disenfranchised.

by Dan I
A person forms opinion using experiences and observations.
The newborn is totally ignorant --- dependent. Without practice, facilitation,
and encouragement to experience, observe, and choose the-good, dependence
prevails.
Biographies of great leaders allow the reader to observe
without experiencing.
About seven biographies on Abraham Lincoln suggest he was of
relatively narrow view point and an exceptionally skilled politician. It seem
Frederick Douglass in 1852 held the better opinion of the U.S. Constitution’s
intentions regarding emancipation of the slaves. Lincoln felt the Constitution
was so weak he diminished it by promoting the Declaration of Independence. The
Constitution specifies a republic with provisions for its people, “ourselves
and our Posterity” to develop civic-integrity and continually improve its
standards. The Declaration expresses that Nature’s God will defeat the English
Trinity.
In the news, Donald Trump grew up a rich playboy and
benefitted from experiences that convinced him civic-integrity with civil
assurance is in his best interest. People can’t brook a leader who acts with
responsible-human-independence.
George Washington’s experiences, like losses in the
Seven-Years War led him to the conclusion that the-good is found in civic-integrity.
R. E. Lee’s fervent religious error (abolitionists are evil
for trying to accelerate Christianity’s schedule to redeem blacks from their
ancestors’ sins) ruined his family.
Many people can’t brook the-ineluctable-truth: each human-being can& may do
the right thing.

Journalists have the civil duty to record consequences of
human error so as to aid posterity in the quest for civic-integrity. Herein
“civic” means reliability in personal connections and transactions. A-civic-people
need research
rather than reason; the-ineluctable-truth rather than political ploy. For
examples, research shows that erroneous Christianity motivated the U.S. Civil
War, and observation shows males project their egoism on females.
So far, journalists have not accepted that science is a research
process that requires renewal each time human-beings invent a pertinent new
instrument of perception. For example, ancient seafarers could imagine the
horizon’s curvature reflected a large globe yet were unbelieving, because they
were unaware that gravity& the continents constrained the seas. Landlubbers
argued the earth was flat.
Journalists accommodate academic “truths” needed to support reason
when what a-civic-people need is comprehension of how to reliably employ
the-ineluctable-truth. For example, rather than a God, the sun is a natural nuclear
reactor. Instead of accepting God-mystery to focus on the human-being’s
responsibility to provide order& prosperity, journalists accommodate reason,
which empowers tyrants. Male brawn suppresses female safety& security.
What the people need is the-ineluctable-truth.
Necessity& justice require the journalist to report factual reality,
reserving the humility to say “I don’t know”, if asked for explanation. For
example, it seems a black celebrity slapped a black celebrity on live TV. How
does the event impact America? “I don’t know” is essential to the reporter,
giving journalism the time to research& report the observation.
In civic-integrity, individuals can& may act to provide
order& prosperity. A person can refrain from action unless necessity&
justice is threatened. However, they may erroneously act on belief. They and
everyone alive are then subject to the consequences of the action. The
perpetrator may suffer.
Everyone else can observe and may commit to never enact now-known
error. If a choice produced misery, repetition re-invites misery. Observing
consequences of choice is the companion to discovering ineluctable-evidence.
The difference between physics-research and civics-research
is that physics’ ineluctable-evidence exists and is discoverable, whereas civic-integrity
is discernable on either direct experience or observation of the past. The roll
of the journalist is to record observed consequences that harm the perpetrator.
For example, violence harms the perpetrator. The roll of the civic-citizen is
to be aware and not repeat journaled error. When the journalist denies their
role, the citizen cannot beware.
For example, the 1861 Civil War was caused by erroneous
religious conviction that abolitionists were evil. Abolition would accelerate
Christianity’s indefinite schedule, perhaps thousands of years’ duration, to
relieve black people from the sins of their fathers. See R. E. Lee’s letter to
his wife in 1856; encyclopediavirginia.org/entries/letter-from-robert-e-lee-to-mary-randolph-custis-lee-december-27-1856.
Lee was aware of Bleeding Kansas, beginning May 1854: white-Christian slavers
killed white-Christian abolitionists. Six years later erroneous white-Christians
fired on Fort Sumter, the USA. For reasons, journalists suppress the cause of
past ruin: white-Christians killed white-Christians over erroneous religious
belief.
When a man commits violence to impress a woman does he
suffer from another erroneous belief? May a man attribute his violence to a
woman?
Journalists fail their duty: journal the consequences of
infidelity to the-ineluctable-truth. Given the journal of observations,
the-people can& may make prudent choices. Only when that journal is
available and maintained may people discern the-good.
The laws of physics are made plain by researching both
the-ineluctable-evidence and the consequences of past infidelity. Negative
observations need not be re-experienced by posterity. An achievable better
future has no time for harmful tradition. The laws of physics control the
consequences of human choice whether for the-good or in error.
If erroneous belief inspires a person to commit violence,
journalists can& may record the consequences so as to discourage the belief.
