A republic turned democracy delivers chaos

Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on the-objective-truth, which can only be discovered. The comment box below invites readers to write.
"Civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for responsible freedom more than for the city.
A personal paraphrase of the June 21, 1788 preamble:  We the civic citizens of nine of the thirteen United States commit-to and trust-in the purpose and goals stated herein --- integrity, justice, collaboration, defense, prosperity, liberty, and perpetuity --- and to cultivate limited services to us by the USA. I am willing to collaborate with other citizens on this paraphrase, yet may settle on and would always preserve the original text.

I nominate this column for The Advocate’s outstanding nonsense of the last two years. It’s an embarrassing coming out!
“. . . the destiny of a democracy committed to advancing the interests its citizens.” What is this democracy? Where is this democracy? The USA is a republic that is specified for both civic order and civil order! A democracy guarantees chaos. What is it that The Advocate cannot admit yet thinks it can sell to the American people? The right to vote does not guarantee the right to create chaos, at least, not in the USA.
“. . . The citizens who depend on a government that works for them. That’s all of us.” What? That’s not me. I have never counted on the USA to do more than work for comprehensive safety and security. And as the decades marched on, I admitted to myself that the political regimes have maintained the Chapter XI Machiavellian priest-politician-partnership since April-May, 1789, when Congress re-instituted the sham legislative divinity England had taught them.

But that’s a side issue. The American dream, as offered in the preamble to the constitution for the USA, may be stated by this list of synonymous phrases: private independence with civic morality; responsible freedom; comprehensive safety and security; humble-integrity; human justice. The chaos of social democracy, liberal democracy, European politics, and other ideas alien to the American republic is not on the American agenda, despite The Advocate’s hopes and dreams.

Women helped elect President Trump, and women will help keep him there: Women want mutual comprehensive safety and security, any way you want to say it.
Note:  in late 2020, I stopped my 53- year full subscription to The Adovcate. My family found it objectionable but changed to cell-phone aps and TV news to stay informed. I hope The Adovcate reforms or goes bankrupt before my afterdeath gets under way.

Today’s thought, G.E. Dean (Psalms 35:18 CJB)
I will give you thanks in the great assembly, I will give you praise among huge crowds of people.

Dean says, “Let praise and worship be a part of your life. Be in church this Sunday.”

David is so arrogant as to bargain with God. Dean is just a salesman. You won’t find me bargaining for favors from the unknown.

An honest press might move this Dean feature to the advertising page. A press with integrity might not publish it.

Since writing the above comments, I perceived that Genesis 1:26-28 expresses the-God charging male&female (in the-God's image) to have dominion over all life and subdue the earth. Leaders, like Daivd, who pray for the-God to favor them are trying to charge the-God with each human being's responsible-human-indpendence. The evidence, seemingly ineluctable, is that each human being must, of necessity, constrain chaos during life. Those who tolerate infidelity to the-God's charge invite chaos.

Edwards’ mendacity messenger? (Gee) (theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/letters/article_ed57eeec-ffa0-11e7-9417-0b5fc4b84723.html)

“Edwards took the [arrogant] step to expand health insurance coverage” on the political polls opinion that Hillary Clinton would be president.

From the photo caption, not Gee,The Trump administration says it's offering a path for states that want to seek work requirements for Medicaid recipients, and that's a major policy shift toward low-income people.”

Nursing home evil (Scott) (theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/letters/article_6c955698-ffa3-11e7-a382-a3bc6abfda03.html)

I appreciate the heat on nursing home owners.

Readers may stay informed about legislation that proposes constitutional amendment. If you oppose, write to your state representative and state senator and ask them to kill the bill.

Press takes it easy on the pope; good contrast with President Trump (Nicole Winfield, AP) (post-gazette.com/news/world/2018/01/22/Pope-Francis-has-apologized-for-insisting-that-victims-of-pedophile-priests-show-proof-but-he-s-still-defending-a-Chilean-bishop/stories/201801220150)

“The Barros scandal dominated Francis’ Jan. 15-21 trip to Chile and Peru, and led to a remarkable church-state public rebuke of the pope.”

There may be more from this scandalous censure of the pope.

I think I disagree, but it is dangerous to argue with the words of a person who is no longer communicating: I don’t know what Lenin meant by saying “. . . in society and . . . free from society.” Taken literally “in” negates “free from”: the statement seems trivial. It seems like a tricky way of saying a society member is not free. Or, if you want to belong, you have to obey the rules.
Also, what definition of “society” does he use? Normally “society” indicates some faction rather than the whole of inhabitants, perhaps citizen in a country or humankind (rather than animals and plants) on a global basis; see Definition of SOCIETY. With the existing civilizations on earth, is conformance socialization?
If someone joins a society, they subjugate to the distinctions of the society. For example, if someone decides, “I am a Christian,” he or she foregoes freedom to choose another religion. But also, each of perhaps 4,000 factions of Christianity must be examined in order to establish specificity. Is there Transubstantiation or Remembrance; Trinity or Unity; election or acceptance. If you think Jesus really meant, “Be perfect.” Are you a heretic? If Jesus was brown and focused on his image, are you the right brown? Even after all those considerations two Christians who think they are like-minded have not explored their words, phrases, and beliefs sufficiently to admit to their differences. Thus, each believer is his or her own society of one, but does not realize it.
If Lenin was saying something about humankind, we could substitute “humankind” for “society” in the quote: One cannot live in humankind and be free from humankind. Again, this seems trivial, but for a different reason. One can subsist as a hermit, but a hermit cannot live as a human.
I think I am ready to make my case. One cannot live in society and be free from society” seems false. Because each person is unique and has the authority to determine how his or her energy will be used, no two members of a society possess the rules of the society. Since there are no rules, members agree to the society despite its privations. In other words, the society does not actually exist, because it has no agreement: Everyone in the society is free from the society.
A prime example is in the Church. Members contribute their tithes even though the Church builds wealth and abuses the members. See http://post-gazette.com/news/wor... . This example has existed for some 1700 years.
Another example is the U.S. that was proffered on September 17, 1787. Therein, the framers affirm the humble-integrity toward both church and state that the founders expressed in the 1776 Delcaration. Both the 1776 and the 1787 documents affirm the Genesis-1 charge to male&female in the-God's image, to have dominion and subdue the earth, or separate church from state. The individual can follow this principle whether society does nor not: a person can constrain chaos in living life.
If I may, I’d like to offer an alternative: “One cannot live in civic justice and be free from civilization.” In other words, even though most people agree to live and let live, some people think crime pays and there must be statutory justice: justice in the written law and reliable enforcement. Thus, humankind is divided between civic people and dissidents.
