Phil Beaver works to establish opinion when the-objective-truth has not been discovered. He seeks to refine his opinion by listening when people share experiences and observations. The comment box below invites readers to write.
Note 1:  I often dash words in phrases in order to express and preserve an idea. For example, frank-objectivity represents the idea of candidly expressing the-objective-truth despite possible error. In other words, a person expresses his “belief,” knowing he or she could be in error. People may collaboratively approach the-objective-truth.
Note 2: It is important to note "civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for the people more than for the city.
A personal paraphrase of the preamble by & for Phil Beaver:  We the willing people of nine of the thirteen United States commit to and trust in the purpose and goals stated herein --- integrity, justice, collaboration, defense, prosperity, liberty, and perpetuity --- and to cultivate limited services by the USA, beginning on June 21, 1788.
Composing their own paraphrase, citizens may consider the actual preamble and perceive whether they are willing or dissident toward its agreement.

Our Views (theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/our_views/article_b0e692ba-aebf-11e7-8b65-637ea88b6b1e.html)

“. . . the responsibility for Gruver’s death is . . . a collective one.” I, a kindred sufferer, agree.

In the first place, the male body does not complete wisdom parts of the brain until age 25. See http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2011/10/teenage-brains/dobbs-text. A few years' experience and observations build wisdom. Whose job description includes informing and reminding the public about such facts?

Humankind, collectively, has the psychological power to live at the leading edge of civic morality. By “civic” I refer to behaving so as to help the people more than the municipality or the government. But there will always be dissidents, some of whom require constraint.

One is constrained to ask: After 229 years under the most promising political sentence in existence, why are Americans so conflicted as to threaten chaos? We assert that it is because most people neglect the agreement that is stated in the preamble to the constitution for the USA. The goals begin with integrity and end with protection of the children’s future, or posterity.

Over the past four years, about sixty people have collaborated in EBRP library meetings and other conversations, and the result includes the proposal for civic morality using the-objective-truth. The goal is mutual, comprehensive safety and security, as described in the preamble.

We envision an achievable, future culture wherein most people collaborate so that each willing person may responsibly pursue personal preferences at the leading edge of civic morality rather than try to conform to someone’s prescription for happiness.

Today’s thought, G.E. Dean (Matthew 13:44 CJB)
“The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. A man found it, hid it again, then in great joy went and sold everything he owned, and bought that field.”

Dean says “When we find God we have found all that we need.”

Mysticism: the belief that direct knowledge of God, spiritual truth, or ultimate reality can be attained through subjective experience (such as intuition or insight). See merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mysticism .

Letters

Clergy advice (Hummert) (theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/letters/article_3f7786f4-adff-11e7-8627-d3852b0d4640.html)

The clergy might focus on the only factor humankind can control: birth rate. Quoting the UN document on the subject, “Individual reproductive behaviour and the needs and aspirations of society should be reconciled.” See un.org/popin/icpd/conference/bkg/wppa.html.

As far as I know, the clergy encourages believers to reproduce so as to further the institutional business plan.

Renewable energy cost (Shepard)
(theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/letters/article_f66760c0-ae02-11e7-91a7-9b1bef882f53.html)

The data inform us the opposite of Shepard’s claims. See eia.gov/outlooks/steo/report/electricity.cfm for power generation fuel costs, with coal at $2.2 per million BTU vs distillate fuel oil at $11.29. Also, see comparison of 60-year life cycle costs at forbes.com/sites/jamesconca/2012/06/15/the-naked-cost-of-energy-stripping-away-financing-and-subsidies/#40a367cc5b88.

Flood recovery money (theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/news/politics/article_23a8400e-aeb2-11e7-9c22-9f168eb134a0.html)

What happened to the rest of the money, maybe $350 million, the fed granted Louisiana?

See Melinda Deslatte’s report at claimsjournal.com/news/southcentral/2017/01/17/276237.htm . “Louisiana’s received $1.6 billion in federal block grant aid from Congress to help recover from the March and August floods that slammed the state, damaging tens of thousands of homes and causing billions in damage.”

To Morris:  “Alinsky” refers to Saul Alinsky. “Marxist” refers to Alinsky’s claim that he organized victims to disrupt, even violate oppressors according to the “victims’” opinion, which is a Marxist idea. The topic is well reported by D. L. Adams, 2010: newenglishreview.org/DL_Adams/Saul_Alinsky_and_the_Rise_of_Amorality_in_American_Politics/. Also in several Wikipedia articles.

In 1788, when the USA was established, the free population was 99% factional Protestant and 5% could vote. Today, 100% of non-felon citizens may vote and traditional factional Protestants account for about 14% of inhabitants. The portion of inhabitants who claim no religion is 24%. See pewforum.org/religious-landscape-study/ . In the USA, the march toward civic justice is impressive.

Recalling my statement, “. . . progress toward civic morality. Justice is pursued by willing citizens—those people who either tacitly or explicitly collaborate to achieve the goals of the preamble to the constitution for the USA.” I paraphrase the preamble for promotion: “We willing people of the United States commit to and trust in the purpose and goals stated herein --- integrity, justice, collaboration, defense, prosperity, liberty, and perpetuity --- and to cultivate limited services by the USA, beginning on June 21, 1788.” Yet I support the verbatim preamble.

I think Abraham Lincoln had similar regard for the preamble’s promise of civic justice. Consider his March 4, 1861 statement, “Why should there not be a patient confidence in the ultimate justice of the people? Is there any better or equal hope in the world? In our present differences, is either party without faith of being in the right? If the Almighty Ruler of Nations, with His eternal truth and justice, be on your side of the North, or on yours of the South, that truth and that justice will surely prevail by the judgment of this great tribunal of the American people.”

The observation ". . . no observable ancestor,” while perhaps true, invites neither free exchange of ideas nor progress beyond the past. I have no desire to preserve the bad of the past, such as erroneous support of slavery. I have every desire to live on the leading edge of civic morality.

Some people are dissident to mutual, comprehensive safety and security for reasons I do not understand. However, we know that some people think crime pays.

Phil Beaver does not “know” the-indisputable-facts. He trusts and is committed to the-objective-truth of which most is undiscovered and some is understood. He is agent for A Civic People of the United States, a Louisiana, education non-profit corporation. See online at promotethepreamble.blogspot.com.
