January 19, 2017

Phil Beaver works to establish opinion when the-indisputable-facts-of-reality have not been discovered. He seeks to refine his opinion by learning other people’s experiences and observations. The comment box below invites sharing facts, opinion, or concern. (I read, write, and listen to establish my opinion as I pursue the-objective-truth.)
Note:  I often connect words in a phrase with the dash in order to represent an idea. For example, frank-objectivity represents the idea of candidly expressing the-objective-truth without addressing possible error or attempting to balance the expression.

Our Views:  IMO, The Advocate reads neither its news nor competitive Louisiana coverage. Perhaps they have a plan.

For example, The Advocate published these 2016 words from 1966 marcher James Meredith, “Duty and responsibility are an equal part [of citizenship], and that's the part the black race has failed to pay any attention to.” Obama had 8 years to fix that.

Often, readers get more accurate reporting elsewhere. For example, Obama’s formative pastor, Jeremiah Wright was here to denigrate the deliberate march to justice that America offers by preaching against government. The Advocate, who soft-pedaled the story, could have read the facts at nola.com/opinions/index.ssf/2015/02/jeremiah_wright_tells_a_southe.html, as I did. I connect Wright’s Alinsky-Marxist organizer’s (AMO) rhetoric and Charles Steele, Jr. October 2015 rhetoric, which The Advocate did publish, to the summer of 2016.

I think one of Obama’s weakest witnesses to AMO was in Dallas after 5 officers were shot. Organizers motivate tyranny like vigilante shootings, and Obama excuses it with rhetoric, “But even those who dislike the phrase “Black Lives Matter,” surely we should be able to hear the pain of Alton Sterling’s family.” Obama did not learn Jeremiah Wright’s powerful paragraph about what it means to lose a loved one: See “Jeremiah Wright: ‘flag burning’,” the 2/3/15 post at promotethepreamble.blogspot.com. The Advocate ignores such awful activism by Obama and thereby joins the AMO crowd, IMO.

In both his farewell speech and his last press conference, Obama came out of the closet as America’s Alinsky pope, IMO, calling for activism and organization rather than the public-integrity offered by the preamble to the constitution for the USA. However, there is a notable change from Obama’s championship for blacks to advocate for all minorities.

I am part of the largest majority in America: The 23% who do not associate with an organized religion. Churchman Obama cannot be my champion. I doubt Obama can be champion for other minorities who think more like James Meredith: responsibility and duty are involved in citizenship. Obama promises a future of activism and organization in America. I will oppose him and AMO by advocating for civic use of the preamble and the-indisputable-facts-of-reality to establish public-integrity at last.

IMO, our erstwhile Mayor joins the AMO crowd when she imposes Dialogues on Race, a false-guilt promoter, on the city of Baton Rouge. A civic people may change the AMO influence America has suffered since 1967. See youtube.com/watch?v=PYfLKBlTM94, especially learning W. F. Buckley’s short introduction of Alinsky’s movement, born from the churches.
It is too late for justice to a civic culture in this “Our Views,” but there may be reform the moment The Advocate deems it advantageous. Tomorrow would not be too soon.

Today’s Thought (Dean). Dean cannot grasp how powerfully humkind works to discover and benefit from the-indisputable-facts-of-reality.

It seems that there are as many specifications of “Lord,” as there are inhabitants: about 7 billion people. Not one of those Lords seems to empower civic morality. IMO a civic person separates the issues: Use the-indisputable-facts-of-reality for Security in life and trust the source of life for comfort in death.

So far, it seems humankind has not discovered the means by which to prove any source of life beyond the-indisputable-facts-of-reality.

Edwards a union man (White). I agree.

Tolerate abuse culture (Conner). Strawman arguments are fallacies. The Ville Platte case arises from vigilantism in at least two civic factions: The community and judges & liberal-democracy-lawyers. First responders are the victims. Inculcation and promotion of illicit drug appetites is to blame. Vigilantism in Ville Platte does not justify Legislative impunity in the abuse of women.

Fifty Democrat Organizers (Audiffred). I agree.

Ike (Webre). Interesting point.

C Kathryn Jean Lopez column. Based on your anecdote, add consultation with a priest or equal to Kathryn Tucker’s requirements and support the right to death.

Terry Robinson column.  “It’s time to move on, stop the protests and give our new administration the respect and support the office deserves.”

I appreciate that thought and attribute the quote to Robinson’s civic morality. However, I feel that Obama is not true to Robinson’s quote. Yesterday, Obama promised activism, organization, and solidarity.

We may do what it takes to understand AMO and lessen the misery and loss it causes, even to the AMO recruits Obama seeks. It starts with caring about freedom from tyranny and the liberty to pursue real-no-harm personal preferences: civic justice.

Not racism, not church, not dominant opinion: civic justice.

E. J. Dionne column.  “However divided the country became under Obama . . . “ admits to failure.
I think Obama’s failure was mimicking Lincoln’s citation of the Declaration of Independence as a founding document rather than a confederation of 13 states separating from England. The treaty of Paris grants independence to 13 states, not the USA. Four years later, perhaps George Washington had convinced twelve of the states that they must originate a nation.

The founders of the USA were the 65% of representatives of the people who signed the preamble and the draft constitution for the USA on September 17, 1787. The 35% who did not sign included dissidents. Only the preamble remains un-amended, and it states a civic contract that is almost totally neglected. I would like and hereby propose to amend it to “We a Civic People of the United States,” so as to emphasize that each person may choose the civic agreement or reject it.

Restoration of the willing civic collaboration that the signers hoped for can begin by candidly admitting that it seems there will always be dissidents to public-integrity. Perhaps by so doing a time will emerge when the preamble could be restored to the totality of We the People of the United States.

Obama missed “we the civic people.” Maybe Trump will get it. I appreciate Dionne’s suggestion.

James Gill column.  It isn’t wise to build on sand. How much of the Louisiana coast is supported by the continental shelf? Perhaps the coast-line should move to solid ground.

Insurance (Page 1A). No doubt caution and defense are paramount in the face of so many unknowns. Elevated building and saving personal money seem in order.

Mystery (Page 1A). How can changing a mystery be anything but a mystery? And how is the Louisiana Medicaid expansion, with mysteriously denied $200 million new taxes, a model?

Nonprofits (Page 1A). The federal government is a thorn wherever it touches. The preamble states, We a [Civic] People of the United States authorize a limited federal government. But the people never read the civic agreement that is stated in the preamble. Time to read, consider, and iteratively collaborate for Security rather than race, church, and political opinion.

The Heat (Page 1A). This issue is very similar to the-elevation-and-saving-money-idea against flooding. The world may constrain population growth, conserve energy, and protect from extreme weather. However, no one knows what cosmic forces predominate in global warming. For example, Miami had recent flooding due to Earth-axis shift. See divulgence.net/ and slate.com/blogs/bad_astronomy/2016/11/17/this_week_s_supermoon_did_have_one_effect_flooding.html . Global warming is interpreted as a human-caused effect, but it is not so.

Media mendacity (Page 3A). Attention to Trump predictions is fruitless, and the article overlooks Obama, the new pope of Alinsky-Marxist organizers (AMO). He bragged about “accomplishments” and labeled them irreversible. IMO the only demonstrated claim by Obama is cheerful-audacity.

IMO, Obama has erroneous confidence in the demands of activists. “Organization” is an Alinsky surrogate for ‘mob.” The organized protests in the 1960s were successful because the cause was just. However, ignoring the dignity and equality of a child to remain with the couple that conceived him or her, an unjust action by the US Supreme Court is reversible. Also, Greece vs Galloway is reversible. Dred Scott was reversed.

Obama passed the chance to nudge 50 Democrat representatives to exercise integrity at the inauguration. Integrity involves both wholeness and understanding. US Representatives who do not understand that the people elected Donald Trump. Congressmen represent their constituents in serving the people and should be thrown out of office by the people. Is treason too strong a word? I don’t think so. “Treason: the crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill the sovereign or overthrow the government.” In this place, the people are the sovereign.

Victims of the World (Page 3A). If you feel you are a victim of America’s history, I encourage the Scots-Irish thought, “Worse things have happened to better people.” If you are not familiar, read the history of the Jews. Just as each human being may transition from feral newborn to civically moral adult, humankind may transition to psychological maturity. The hope for that achievement can begin when the Jews are accepted as people among the people. The people living then may perceive that humankind has begun to overcome religion, race, and politics so as to establish civic morality.
