Phil Beaver works to establish opinion when the-objective-truth has not been discovered. He seeks to refine his opinion by listening when people share experiences and observations. The comment box below invites readers to write.
Note 1:  I often dash words in phrases in order to express and preserve an idea. For example, frank-objectivity represents the idea of candidly expressing the-objective-truth despite possible error. In other words, a person expresses his “belief,” knowing he or she could be in error. People may collaboratively approach the-objective-truth.

Note 2: It is important to note "civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for the people more than for the city.

A personal paraphrase of the preamble by & for Phil Beaver:  Willing people in our state routinely, voluntarily collaborate for comprehensive safety and security: continuity (for self, children, grandchildren & beyond), integrity (both fidelity and wholeness),  justice (freedom-from oppression), defense (prevent or constrain harm), prosperity (acquire the liberty-to pursue choices), privacy (responsibly discover & pursue personal goals), lawfulness (obey the law and reform injustices); and to preserve and cultivate the rule of law for the USA’s service to the people in their states.

Composing their own paraphrase, citizens may consider the actual preamble and perceive whether they are willing or dissident toward the preamble.

Today’s thought, G.E. Dean (Genesis 3:1, CJB)
“Now the serpent was more crafty than any wild animal which Adonai,God, had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You are not to eat from any tree in the garden’?”

Dean says “The devil is still trying to get people to doubt the Word of God. Don’t be fooled. The devil is a liar.”

It is egregious for The Advocate to publish such obviously flawed mystery-constructs. Genesis 1:27 tells us man is made in God’ image (the equivalence). It seems that equating a snake to God in competition with a human is a simple fallacy. Dean seems a confused person who is anxious to bemuse people.

What is The Advocate’s business plan: How much longer do they expect me to support the moral outrage of promoting Biblical phantasms? Maybe move it to the comic-strips or a “faith and values” section, but get it off the civic opinion page.

To Wayne Hughes: A diabolic feature of Restore is that the longer it takes the more Louisiana’s administrators can glean from the federal funds.

The Louisiana legislative auditor should give the people a statement of how much Gov. Edwards contributes to the inefficiency. We never knew the outcome of the Bankston debacle or the percentage or other arrangement the new management contract has. However, flood victims have not benefited from Gov. Edwards’ involvement.

male chauvinist (Cal Thomas) (morningjournal.com/article/MJ/20170828/FEATURES/170829426)

The way things are, an authentic man perceives each woman a potential crowd. It’s her and her viable ova, about 400 delivered over some 40 years of fertility. In fidelity to the-objective-truth, a man of integrity does not approach a woman’s ova unless he is willing to care for, during life, both woman and possible child. This is so, because the parents must care for their grandchildren for life and beyond.

If men had such authenticity, the ages-old battle of the sexes would be lessened with consequential reduction in abuse and misery to children. The women who lack authenticity would have less power over men.

Out of their obligation to educate the public, journalists would have been writing such ideas for centuries instead of sharing personal fascination with beauty, as Thomas does in this column. Beauty is skin deep but ugly goes clear to the bone; everybody knows (L. Cohen).

Presidential constraint (Richard Cohen) nydailynews.com/opinion/gary-cohn-duty-stay-article-1.3450027

It is amazing that writers for the press have no personal constraint --- no drive for integrity. Once they construct an opinion, they strive to impose their view on the public no matter what.

In the Charlottesville incident, people who perceive the American republic is under attack by collectivist democrats. They apply for a permit to publically express their views. Local authorities grant the permit, publicly accepting the obligation to protect the speakers.

Collectivist democrats do not apply for a permit, but they and neo-Nazis show up to disrupt the permitted speakers. The local authorities withhold protection of the permitted speakers.

Instead of writing to promote comprehensive safety and security, writers like Cohen fabricate lies about President Trump’s intentions when he chooses not to blame the unpermitted disrupters, but assesses that there were good people on both sides, giving the disrupting, cowardly, local authorities a free pass.

I recommend amendment of the First Amendment to protect a free and responsible press. The protection of expression stated in the Louisiana constitution, modified to address the press, might serve as a first draft.

With no standards of professionalism and ethics, writers like Cohen do not represent journalism. I don’t know of a press-writer who represents journalism --- maybe a few economists and such, but no writers.

Our fourth annual Constitution Day Celebration has evolved into a play. Read the invitation at the above stated URL. Plan to attend, and perhaps apply for one of the few remaining reading roles in the play.

Phil Beaver does not “know” the-indisputable-facts. He trusts and is committed to the-objective-truth of which most is undiscovered and some is understood.
