Phil Beaver works to establish opinion when the-objective-truth has not been discovered. He seeks to refine his opinion by listening when people share experiences and observations. The comment box below invites readers to write.
Note 1:  I often dash words in phrases in order to express and preserve an idea. For example, frank-objectivity represents the idea of candidly expressing the-objective-truth despite possible error. In other words, a person expresses his “belief,” knowing he or she could be in error. People may collaboratively approach the-objective-truth.

Note 2: It is important to note "civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for the people more than for the city.

A personal paraphrase of the preamble by & for Phil Beaver:  Willing people in our state routinely, voluntarily collaborate for comprehensive safety and security: continuity (for self, children, grandchildren & beyond), integrity (both fidelity and wholeness),  justice (freedom-from oppression), defense (prevent or constrain harm), prosperity (acquire the liberty-to pursue choices), privacy (responsibly discover & pursue personal goals), lawfulness (obey the law and reform injustices); and to preserve and cultivate the rule of law for the USA’s service to the people in their states.

Composing their own paraphrase, citizens may consider the actual preamble and perceive whether they are willing or dissident toward the preamble.

Our Views (theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/our_views/article_079dda36-8db0-11e7-85de-c3b0faf1eec1.html)
The Advocate examines a holiday born in conflict and concludes that everyone may earn “a day to celebrate hard work.”

A companion, historical review concludes, “. . . long working hours and no time off . . . issues [are] starting to come back . . . for highly skilled white-collar workers . . . constantly connected to work.” See theconversation.com/have-we-forgotten-the-true-meaning-of-labor-day-64526.

My mom and dad, I think erroneously, lent me an aversion to reading anything by “atheists.” Thanks to Wernel Mack, I learned a Sartre quote. I modified it to “Each person is condemned to be free and responsible for everything he or she does.” With Mack’s agreement, it became a cover quote for my emerging play, “Sincere Liberty.” But the word “condemned” bothered me.

Last evening, in conversation with Dona Bean, my sister, I changed the Sartre modification to “Each person is free and responsible to grow fidelity to the-objective-truth.” It’s unwise to ignore Mom and Dad’s best advice as we struggle to emerge from the cave of indoctrination.

Congratulations to The Advocate for comprehensively expressing the importance of humans at work. Its authenticity is lived daily by ever-willing people; celebrate indeed.

Today’s thought, G.E. Dean (Genesis 3:9-10, CJB)
“ADONAI, God, called to the man, "Where are you?" He answered, "I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, so I hid myself."

Dean says “We too should be afraid when we disobey God. He is holy. However, He is able to forgive and cleanse if we repent of sin.”

Dean’s claims may imagine reality for the afterdeath, but Dean promotes application of the mysteries for daily living.

Letters

Civic justice comes from the people rather than theism, government or racism (Duggan) (theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/letters/article_6c4bef9c-8cd2-11e7-b12a-3f5afd1d72da.html)

Good idea.

Sermon (Rhodes)
(theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/letters/article_5704bff8-8e7e-11e7-a2ba-b75c24e316d0.html)

Unfortunately, the “sermon on the mount” is propaganda by the oppressor intended to keep the oppressed under heel.

I think Trump undid a travesty (Boland) (theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/letters/article_19ca92d8-8e84-11e7-bad7-c33ab156a3c3.html)

I thought Arpaio upheld immigration law when the Obama administration did not do so. I never changed my support for him, but would be glad to listen to Boland’s arguments to support his claims. So far, there’s nothing to support his opinion.

Don’t hurt children (Hrabar) (theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/letters/article_10b031d4-8e85-11e7-a1a3-3b561d3f7293.html)

Only willing people can offer civic justice. Adults should do everything they can to help children, and I think charter schools act for children. Please respond to Ms. Hrabar’s sincere plea.

Phil Beaver does not “know” the-indisputable-facts. He trusts and is committed to the-objective-truth of which most is undiscovered and some is understood. He is agent for A Civic People of the United States, a Louisiana, education non-profit corporation. See online at promotethepreamble.blogspot.com.
