Phil Beaver works to establish opinion when the-objective-truth has not been discovered. He seeks to refine his opinion by listening when people share experiences and observations. The comment box below invites readers to write.
Note 1:  I often dash words in phrases in order to express and preserve an idea. For example, frank-objectivity represents the idea of candidly expressing the-objective-truth despite possible error. In other words, a person expresses his “belief,” knowing he or she could be in error. People may collaboratively approach the-objective-truth.
Note 2: It is important to note "civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for the people more than for the city.
A personal paraphrase of the preamble by & for Phil Beaver:  We the willing people of nine of the thirteen United States commit to and trust in the purpose and goals stated herein --- integrity, justice, collaboration, defense, prosperity, liberty, and perpetuity --- and to cultivate limited services by the USA, beginning on June 21, 1788.
Composing their own paraphrase, citizens may consider the actual preamble and perceive whether they are willing or dissident toward its agreement.

Our Views (theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/our_views/article_82b74e34-c571-11e7-a4dd-d38f8c19214d.html#tncms-source=infinity-scroll-summary-siderail-latest)

The Advocate habitually exempts Gov. John Bel Edwards from responsibility for vigilantism among law enforcement institutions. First responders are squeezed by people who think crime pays and judicial and legislative systems that collect on crime. The people of Louisiana lose their ability to support first responders.

In a system where management is free to award themselves perks, grant each other high salaries, find a way to line their own pockets, it is neither excusable nor unexpected that a few first responders will decide “me too,” yet take perhaps criminal risks from which the bosses seem exempt.

A free and responsible press keeps the pressure on elected and appointed officials to collaborate for public integrity. In this case, agreeable appreciation for Col. Kevin Reeves, while welcomed, is a distraction from apparent systemic irresponsibility at the top.

To Lawrence Parker: As I have written on this forum many times, I voted for John Bel Edwards. I thought he was the better choice. I would not take back my vote---in other words, would not change my vote.

However, he is a disappointment to me. For example, I hurt for the 2016-flooded people he has let down. His failure to cut back spending so as to get the state budget in control. And so on.

Today’s thought, G.E. Dean (Psalms 23:1-3 CJB)
“Adonai is my shepherd; I lack nothing. He has me lie down in grassy pastures,
he leads me by quiet water, he restores my inner person. He guides me in right paths
for the sake of his own name.”

Dean says “When we have the Lord, we have all that we need.”

David and Dean imagine possessing the Lord. This kind of “scripture” is what misguides believers into antinomianism. Examples abound.

For example, in the current squabble with Roy Moore, I doubt his accusers. However, his lifetime of civic arrogance prevents me from defending votes for him. We America needs at this time is a Congress wherein at least 2/3 understand A. Lincoln’s 1861 claim that justice comes from willing people rather than God or government and Antonin Scalia’s 2013 claim that justice is for here rather than for hereafter-hopes.

Mitch Landrieu’s tyranny (Stewart)

To GM King: Are you suggesting Frady's response needs intervention? Predictably inadequate so disallowed?

Left to you, I would expect strident libertarianism; Eastwood-style verbal violence; Satanism---whatever suits your fantasy.

Phil Beaver does not “know” the-indisputable-facts. He trusts and is committed to the-objective-truth of which most is undiscovered and some is understood. He is agent for A Civic People of the United States, a Louisiana, education non-profit corporation. See online at promotethepreamble.blogspot.com.
