Phil Beaver seeks to collaborate on the-objective-truth,
which can only be discovered. The comment box below invites readers to write.
Note 1: I often dash
words in phrases in order to express and preserve an idea. For example, frank-objectivity
represents the idea of candidly expressing the-objective-truth despite possible
error. Note 2: It is important to note "civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for the people more than for the city.
A personal paraphrase
of the June 21, 1788 preamble: We the civic citizens of nine of the
thirteen United States commit-to and trust-in the purpose and goals stated
herein --- integrity, justice, collaboration, defense, prosperity, liberty, and
perpetuity --- and to cultivate limited services by the USA. Composing
their own paraphrase, citizens may consider the actual preamble and perceive
whether they are willing or dissident toward its principles.
“Unwisdom” seems more profound than “foolishness” or “folly.”
Let’s hope that key leaders around the world read today’s “Our Views.” Not only rogue leaders, but a civic people do well to recall that an infamous day unleashed silent integrity and appreciation for peace.

Thank you, The
Advocate.
Today’s thought,
G.E. Dean (Exodus 20:8 CJB)
“Remember the day, Shabbat, to set it apart for God. You
have six days to labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Shabbat
for ADONAI your God. On it, you are not to do any kind of work -not you, your
son or your daughter, not your male or female slave, not your livestock, and
not the foreigner staying with you inside the gates to your property. For
in six days, ADONAI made heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them; but
on the seventh day he rested. This is why ADONAI blessed the day, Shabbat, and
separated it for himself.”
Dean says, “God has a reason for this. Honor Him by honoring
the Sabbath. You will be blessed if you do.”
Does Dean explain the adulation “I am blessed”?
Letters
State budget (Gardes) (theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/letters/article_7dd9214e-da0c-11e7-bf2f-8b6940a7ea26.html)
I wrote to my
state senator and my state representative and asked them to promote common
sense with a focus on these three items.
Plea for socialism (Gill)

It is
difficult to envision, but students may be observing the nadir of the AMO
potential to convert the American republic into a liberal democracy. Termination
of the AMO movement may soon follow.
Take for example the sex revolution brought on by the 1949 Kinsey Report. The abuse revolution of 2017 may restore civic morality respecting formation of human bonds and responsible freedom.
Take for example the sex revolution brought on by the 1949 Kinsey Report. The abuse revolution of 2017 may restore civic morality respecting formation of human bonds and responsible freedom.
We may
even be observing the ascension to civic morality instead of social morality as
the vehicle for personal fulfillment as a free and responsible human being.
Socialism
is the opposite of responsible freedom, which is possible only in the human
species and only in a culture for the free and responsible person. That is a
culture with statutory laws based on civic justice rather than dominant
opinion. “Civic” refers to human connections more than municipal or civil goals.
Think of "civic citizen" as free and responsible
person. For example, a writer for the media may be a developing
journalist---free and responsible to chronical humankind’s developing civic
morality.
It takes little time to express
ideas like responsible personal freedom and civic morality, but it’s worth the effort
to comprehend the ideas despite the writer. Gill has exemplary civic interest
for her reasons.
Thanks for hospitality (Devore) (Dec 7)
It’s nice
to read gratitude for hospitality.

Federal budget (Cal Thomas)
(calthomas.com/columns/denying-them-revenue)
“Google
“cut federal spending” and you will see dozens of suggestions.”
“One comes from Downsizing the
Federal Government, a website designed to highlight where federal spending goes
and how to reform each government department, which proposes shrinking “every
federal department by cutting the most harmful programs. This study proposes
specific cuts that would reduce federal spending by almost one-quarter and
balance the budget in less than a decade.”
“I would add reform Social Security
and Medicare, the main drivers of increased spending, which President Trump has
hinted Republicans may try next year.”
Phil Beaver does not “know”
the-indisputable-facts, or actual-reality. He trusts and is committed to the-objective-truth
of which most is undiscovered and some is understood. He is agent for A Civic
People of the United States, a Louisiana, education non-profit corporation. See
