March 10, 2017

Phil Beaver works to establish opinion when the-objective-truth has not been discovered. He seeks to refine his opinion by learning other people’s experiences and observations. The comment box below invites sharing facts, opinion, or concern. If you like the wok, share with people who may be interested.
Note:  I often connect words in a phrase with the dash in order to represent an idea. For example, frank-objectivity represents the idea of candidly expressing the-objective-truth without addressing possible error or attempting to balance the expression.

The Advocate:

Our Views. The Advocate (for their business plan) and perhaps BESE (perhaps for political bargaining) are pressuring taxpayers to keep paying the high state sales tax and agree to more taxation so as to help 700,000 children to the tune of $ .038 billion.

Meanwhile, the legislature and administration thirsts for $30 billion when the legislature and administration need $18 billion to serve Louisiana’s No. 1: the people.

In other words, the scheme is to leverage $1 kept from children to justify $316 largesse for the legislature and administration to keep spending money for the special interests they favor. And that does not take into account mismanagement reported on Page 1A daily; three cases today, one involving $0.04 billion loss, more than the $0.038 billion BESE forfeited on behalf of children. Shame.

A civic people may impress both the legislature and the administration to take care of the children at the expense of special interest groups.

Today’s thought. Psalms 56:10. David says, “In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise, “ I guess trying to appeal to both sources of hope for power over other people whom David viewed as enemies.

Dean settled on God this time, but tomorrow may go with the Lord.

IMO, people are served better by appreciating other people as persons and iteratively collaborating for public-integrity.

Letters:

Healthcare for orphans from Central America (Mukerjee). Mukerjee, I appreciate the information so close to home.

Who can turn down an opportunity to save another child’s life? Someone who considers illegal human smuggling an immoral activity that risks lives and cannot compensate for another nation’s cruelty.

Read the important points at http://latinousa.org/2014/09/12/smugglers/ . More can be found using “coyote.” Readers may learn that the Catholic Church as well as others are among the philanthropists involved. And indication of how it could impact demographics in New Orleans may be gleaned from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanctuary_movement . In fact, the sanctuary movement attracts people from all over the world who perceive the Mexican coyote system as a way to gain refuge in the USA. Connect your own dots: I know nothing and do not trust the media.

Liberal democrats appeal to the Democratic Party to support this movement. I speculate that the Vatican-Edwards-partnership discussed this human smuggling business during Gov. John Bel Edwards’s recent trip to the Vatican, but of course know nothing.

The sanctuary movement gives new perspective on philanthropy: Philanthropists may sponsor illegal activities involving high risks, even death, to the subjects self-satisfying “good will.”

For a child who gets through the dangerous coyote system, it’s much like advocating for an abused child: Do everything you can to replace the child with his or her original family and culture in a secure home. However, managing another country is not my wish, so I urge the USA to build a wall, partially to stop the coyote business through Mexico. But there is so much more criminal activity crossing the border.

Pipeline (Dunn). I’m surprised Dunn is not focused on increased traffic safety for driving to the basin.

Improved safety is vital to me, even though MWW usually says “No” when I ask if she’d like to go to Lafayette for Cajun and zydeco dancing and great music. Those were the days, my friend.

I guess some people can’t think beyond “business owner.”

united America (Ingram). Expecting a united America is un-American. Look at America’s 2/3 sentiment against abortion on the public dole (MWW calls it abortion for fun).

The revolutionary war was initiated by 40% self-styled-statesmen (former colonials) with 40% pacifists and 20% loyalists. The French were largely responsible for defeating England at Yorktown, and the American treaty was negotiated in Paris after the French treaty with England was signed. There, England agreed that the thirteen colonies were each independent.

The thirteen states, four years later, agreed there should be a stronger confederation, and on their second try assembled delegates from twelve states in Philadelphia. Disunity on the confederation led to proposal to form a nation. The preamble to the constitution for the USA was signed on September 17, 1787 by 2/3 of the independent-states representatives, leaving 1/3 dissidents.

On June 21, 1788, the required 9 of 13 states ratified the draft constitution with the provision that a bill of rights would be added by the first Congress. The first Congress was seated after two more states had ratified. By the time the Bill of Rights was negotiated, the 13 states had ratified and admitted one more. Therefore, 10 of 14 states ratified the negotiated constitution for the USA on December 15, 1791.

Establishment of the civic agreement stated in the preamble to the constitution for the USA has yet to occur. When that happens, the USA may move to a civic culture with 2/3 participation instead of the current struggle for a 50% plus one vote for dominant opinion during an election cycle.

The delegates who signed the preamble had a vision of private-liberty-with-civic-morality as public-integrity, far from that status as they were. They designed a republic, knowing the democracy begs woe. America needs public-integrity rather than unity.

Speaking for myself, I voted for a civic people and public-integrity by voting for Donald Trump. I’m counting on the people, partially inspired by Abraham Lincoln’s first inaugural address. Let’s see if it happens.

Stephanie Grace column, March 9. To Lindsey Parrish: I do not favor moving the three principle monuments and would like to know the-objective-truth about why they exist.

However, the Parrish comment is one for which we can celebrate freedom of expression and this forum. It helps a civic people discover dissidents by their statements.

Rich Lowry column. “If campus protests of speech begin to more routinely slide into violence, Middlebury will be remembered as a watershed.”

What does it take to conclude that law-and-order does not accommodate Alinsky-Marxist organizers (AMO)?

I think applications for public demonstration should exist, at least in my state, and one of the requirements should be paid-up liability insurance against incidental violence and destruction.

Organizing for Action (OFA), for example, needs to take financial responsibility for damages and injuries that happen in its protests.

Byron York column. With so much media coverage of the absence of evidence that there was a dialogue, everyone skips my question: What was the subject of the dialogue if there was dialogue?

If was how to influence Phil Beaver’s vote, even Donald Trump could not discourage me from voting for Donald Trump: Anyone who could overcome the GOP and the media-debate managers (including double-agent Donna Brazile) was my friend. If it was influencing Sec of State Tom Schedler to diddle my vote, fat chance. If it was getting my Electoral College members to vote illegally, fat chance.

So, in this Russia-Trump-team dialogue, what did they discuss? Russia’s disdain for Hillary? That’s just common chit-chat---fodder for a men’s barbershop.

Richard Cohen column. Cohen exposes himself as an Alinsky-Marxist organizer (AMO). AMO rule No. 5: Ridicule Donald Trump and your dreams will come true.

Unfortunately, Cohen does not disclose his objective-wish beyond conflict. He can’t get Hillary or Barack or Bernie. If Trump resigned, there’d be Mike Pence. Cohen can’t grasp evidences: Trump is an expert administrator rather than a politician. Cohen wants a politician (dare I equate typically liar?) for president. It ain’t gonna happen.

Guest lackey column. Gov. John Bel Edwards begged woe and woe is being suffered by Louisiana’s No. 1: the people.

Settlement (Page 1B). A pay off without Louisiana-licensing reform is insufficient.

I have written to my state representatives to urge reform from Louisiana’s special-interest licensing boards.

Baby in trash can (Page 1B). A civic people are responsible for the barbaric state of affairs in Louisiana and the USA. A civic people may come out of the closet and declare opposition to dissidents as soon as they perceive the civic-morality of establishing public-integrity.

A civic people is defined by the preamble to the constitution for the USA. My paraphrase is: we the civic people in our state, in order to achieve the goals stated herein, add to our state constitutions commitment to ordain and maintain this constitution for a nation.

Establishing the promised republic is yet achievable.

Citing, for example, poles that show 2/3 of Americans oppose paying for abortion for fun, and considering historical evidence, a civic people comprise 2/3 of citizens. The 2/3 only inherently observe the preamble, whereas they need to take charge of the preamble’s widespread comprehension, practice, promotion, and celebration. Clarify that it is a civic people vs the dissidents.

Otherwise, brutality to children next door or at the Walmart will continue at its accelerating pace. It is sickening to live in this place! Yet, I have never been personally more rewarded in my space. Look at the park I attend for exercise, for example, or the libraries where I meet for discussion.

How can philanthropists please themselves with concern for children subjected to abuse in other lands continue to support the abuse of American children? It’s like philanthropists perceive that the more money they make the more self-satisfying work they can do. Never mind the child next door.

Philanthropy seems a way people may feel immune to civic morality.

Rev. Michael Collins (Page 3B). Now I know why Fr. Collins’ council was so valuable to my family: He was also a social worker. Other priests and ministers did not do as well for us, IMO.

I hope my friend Brij Mohan notices this point and will tell him. I want to see a new profession, which I dub “civic practitioner” after hearing Brij speak about the improved title, “social practitioner.”

Thank you, Fr. Collins.

Complaints unheard, police probe, $0.042 billion loss (Page 1A). Management of the State of Louisiana seems sorely neglected, past and present.

Police probe (Page 1A). Management of the State of Louisiana seems sorely neglected.

Fraud complaints unheard (Page 1A). Management of the State of Louisiana seems sorely neglected.

Syria (Page 2A). U.S. more involved.

Global warming (Page 2A). EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt cautions that what goes up usually cycles down, because cosmic effects outweigh human contributions to atmospheric conditions.

GOP push (Page 3A). I do not trust the GOP.

Washington State (Page 3A). Let’s hope the opposition can’t influence delay this time.

Pseudo-news (Page 10A). The Associated Press sells imagination as concern. I do not trust AP employees.

However, as soon as President Trump confirmed that Flynn is a liar, Trump fired Flynn. We cannot expect honesty much less integrity from the AP.

It’s a little known idea, but I think anyone who claims citizenship or permanent residence and does not understand, trust and commit to the preamble to the constitution for the USA begs whatever injustice may come his or her way.

Just as a person who enjoys civic freedom must earn his or her living in order to exercise the liberty to pursue the happiness he or she wants, he or she must iteratively collaborate for justice. In this thought, freedom from empower liberty to.

General neglect of the preamble for 230 years is the reason the USA is currently dysfunctional.

Phil Beaver does not “know”. Phil trusts and is committed to the-objective-truth of which most is undiscovered and some is understood. Phil Beaver is agent for A Civic People of the United States, a Louisiana, an education non-profit. See online at promotethepreamble.blogspot.com.
