Phil Beaver seeks to
collaborate on the-objective-truth, which can only be discovered. The comment
box below invites readers to write.
"Civic"
refers to citizens who collaborate for responsible freedom more than for the
city.
A personal paraphrase of the June 21, 1788 preamble: We
the civic citizens of nine of the thirteen United States commit-to and trust-in
the purpose and goals stated herein --- integrity, justice, collaboration,
defense, prosperity, liberty, and perpetuity --- and to cultivate limited
services to us by the USA. I am willing to collaborate with other citizens
on this paraphrase, yet may settle on and would always preserve the original
text.
Our Views (theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/opinion/our_views/article_0b22f44c-165f-11e8-a52b-f7763d2aa98f.html)
I’ve been studying, for about six weeks now, two new
discoveries and a relatively old one with a new slant.
First, although our cultures inform us that we must
look to higher power because of 1) death and 2) human order, each individual
human has the authority over how to spend his or her energy during every moment
of personal life. The individual may hope for a favorable afterdeath or accept
what will be, much as the flowers do, and focus on justice in life. The
individual may develop fidelity to human justice or not. Some adults think
crime pays according to their preferred method.
Second, a powerful tool for developing justice is to
commit: In every thought, word, and action, “I will first do no harm.” This
thought is a commitment more than an intention. If the possibility of harm is
imagined, there is pause for more evidence or inquiry for views from affected persons.
If harm at last appears, the committed person immediately addresses it.
Concurrently, I have been, for almost two years now,
contemplating how a person with integrity may deal with mendacity. I have
always thought the right way is to bluntly address falsehood by presenting
the-objective-truth when its discovery is well known, admitting that when there
has been no discovery I do not know the-objective-truth. However, in social
democracy, people merely dismiss ideas. Whether its the Christian gestapo or
the Alinsky-Marxist organization, integrity gets no hearing.
Examples may help explain the-objective-truth. For a
physical example, the earth, for now, is like a globe, and the flat-perception
is long-since obsolete. In a psychological example, a just individual does not
lie, so that the people do not have to respond to a lie. In justice, liars
cannot communicate, except, if dissenters---persons against human
justice---assist the liar.
John Bel Edwards is obligated to the people of
Louisiana to produce a balanced budget. He and Jay Dardenne produced an
insincere budget, perhaps to put pressure on the legislators who are protecting
the people from unneeded new taxation.
Matthew 7:6, is, along with many others, one of those
mysterious ideas from ancient literature that the reader may either dismiss or
contemplate. I recently imagined that it may instruct the just human not to aid
a liar.
It seems to me this “Our Views” is another evidence
that The Advocate has little appreciation for its personhood. I encourage
legislators to hold fast to the protection of the people of Louisiana from the
insincerity that seems evident in Edwards and Dardenne, aided by The Advocate
personnel.
Today’s thought, G.E. Dean (Mark 8:38 CJB), The Advocate, February
21, 2018, 7B.
"For if someone is ashamed of me and of what I say in this
adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also will be ashamed of him
when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”
Dean says, “Christians
are not secret disciples. We are glad that we belong to Jesus.”
In the same way, criminals think crime pays and cut-throats think
cutting throats pays. I’ll collaborate with civic citizens who are Christians
and oppose the other Christians. Dean seems to express dissidence to civic
morality.
Phil Beaver does not “know” the actual-reality. He
trusts and is committed to the-objective-truth which
can only be discovered. He is agent for A Civic People of the United States, a
Louisiana, education non-profit corporation. See online at
