Phil Beaver works to establish opinion when the-objective-truth has not been discovered. He seeks to refine his opinion by listening when people share experiences and observations. The comment box below invites readers to express facts, opinion, or concern, perhaps to share with people who may follow the blog.

Note 1:  I often dash words in phrases in order to express and preserve an idea. For example, frank-objectivity represents the idea of candidly expressing the-objective-truth despite possible error. In other words, a person expresses his “belief,” knowing he or she could be in error. People may collaboratively approach the-objective-truth.
Note 2: It is important to note "civic" refers to citizens who collaborate for the people more than for the city.

Our Views (Scalise misfortune). I appreciate Griffen's and Diogenes' posts.

Abraham Lincoln’s idea "A house divided against itself cannot stand," is delusional when the house has fallen. America can change to undivided if most citizens collaborate for comprehensive safety and security rather than dominant religious or political opinion.

What’s amazing is that the media presses their attack on the American people regardless of unbelievable tragedy. Something must be done to coerce the media to appreciate the people more than freedom of the press.

For example, heavily fine any media that now portrays James Comey as a man of integrity. Honesty, OK; integrity, No. That’s my opinion based on what I saw, but I do not know enough to levy a fine.

That would take an act of Congress under statutory law Congress enacted according to the preamble to the constitution for the USA. If amendment of the First Amendment is required, so be it.

Based on today’s media performances, the founders, for example, Benjamin Franklin, perhaps took “freedom of the press,” too causally. See heritage.org/american-founders/commentary/franklin-and-the-free-press, April 4, 2017.

Today’s thought (Psalms 127:1). Trust and commitment to the-objective-truth of which most is undiscovered and some is understood seems more attractive to me in my eighth decade.

In my fifth decade, I had been certain of my birth-family’s traditional interpretation of the Bible and felt I knew God. However, I encountered Bible interpretation which my tradition opposed and had to choose. I chose to be myself: Someone who trusts and commits to the-objective-truth. I do not doubt the God’s of the people who helped me discover myself, and am comfortable not evaluating beliefs. I wait, without expectation, for revelation of the-objective-truth however it differs from my trust.

Without that experience, I might be a candidate to join Dean’s hopes but am not.

Letters.

Edwards’ leadership (Kay). There’s no substance with which to lead: follow, maybe; lead, no.

Courage to resolve (James). Trying to revise civil-service law to suit particular purpose indicates honest privation of integrity. I see no hope for courage.

Columns.

Democrats would serve themselves better by facing their failures (Cal Thomas). “They are banking on undermining the president by accusation and insinuation.” If they do, Mike Pence, will step in and We the Civic People of the United States will continue the ineluctable march toward comprehensive safety and security.

Meanwhile, I hope Mr. Comey, Mrs. Lynch and Mrs. Clinton find proprietary places behind bars.

Dona Bean agrees.

Democrats hurt black voters (Walter Williams). With the facts before us, how can voting reality be?

“Cowen should look for the town where citizens have found work and preserved civil society with greater independence from government intervention or assistance—a place in which success is linked to social obligations and good citizenship.”

In that town there is no class of people who don’t care, excepting the dissidents, who are constrained by civic statutory law.

This “society with greater independence” is readily available to the town wherein a super majority, we guess 2/3 of the population, collaborate for civic morality, where “civic” means citizens who use the preamble to the constitution for the USA and the articles and amendments that follow to continually discover and effect public morality while pursuing the happiness they perceive rather than someone’s ideal. Avoiding arbitrary ideals is attained by collaborating to discover the-objective-truth of which most is undiscovered and some is understood.

Comprehensive safety and security provides the “transcendental frame,” wherein young civic persons acquire the understanding and intent to provide goods and services the town needs or wants and in return are paid enough to afford the liberty-to pursue the private interests and dreams their person possesses plus savings and asset accumulation for retirement. The acquisition of education is enhanced by coaching which inspires each newborn to gradually take charge of his or her authenticity as a human being. Chronologically adult dissidents to safety and security are constrained by just statutory law rather than arbitrary opinion.

Individuals whose person has high hopes and dreams look for opportunities to improve comprehensive safety and security. With a promising innovation, they enter entrepreneurship, and with success are happily awarded part of the benefits the town received. With failure, they retain obligations and resume ordinary provision of needed goods and services.

People who have discovered inspiration and motivation through religion or none equally collaborate for comprehensive safety and security.
